Sabrina Robinson: We have been going to this same location for years and just recently had an issue that wasn’t completely their fault but they didn’t make any of their guests aware of it before check in. The pool had to get cleaned and refilled because someone pressed an emergency shut off button for no reason so the children we brought were not able to go swimming for hours which was the only reason we rented a room. Also we purchased 2 adjoining rooms and one of which smelled God awful like feet and decaying animal, they gave us air freshener or said we could have rooms upstairs. Stairs/elevator was not an option for us so we didn’t have a great experience our last visit. Every visit beforehand was great.

Ashley Allor: We came here with the kids to getaway for one night on spring break with them. The hot tub (every parents favorite part) was closed and this place has really gone downhill since our last stay. The carpets on the stairwells and second floor are seriously disgusting. This Hampton was refreshing and restored our hope in hotels. The pool was clean, had plentiful towels, and was nicely appointed. The staff was friendly, helpful and expedient. Rob Latimer: Caution! Stay away. This hotel has been worn out and is still in service. The rates may be ok but the real story begins: I was away at a party and recieved a call from the manager at 12:47 a.m. saying I have something in my room that I can't have.When I arrive the manager asked to see my ID and said that they had a smoking complaint on our floor. They entered our room while we were gone and went through our bags and found our legally owned and carried pistol. The manager said the pistol was in plain sight but when we got to our room the pistol was stuffed way down in our bag. The staff obviously went through our bags. Apparently Baymont by Wyndam in Flint has a no pistol policy at their hotel in Flint...lol. Just go somewhere else. There was another black couple that the management walked into their room when the management was investigating the same smoking complaint. Seriously, stay away. Baymont by Wyndham in Flint is obviously anti civil rights. I would expect some measure of privacy in our room when we rent it. The Cracker Barrel resturant next door is not much better...Safety: This hotel chain has a guest no firearm policy with only an overweight unarmed security guard protecting the property. Glenn W: Contacted Advanced about a dishwasher that wouldn't drain, I think I spoke with Bert. After I explained what wasn't happening with the dishwasher, he asked what steps, if any, I had taken to resolve the problem. I told him after doing some research on the problem, I felt that it was either a plugged drain line or a bad drain pump motor. We checked the drain line, no problems. Replaced the drain pump motor, still didn't drain. After asking a few more questions, he asked if we have had any issues with the garbage disposal. Told him "yes, it failed and was replaced about the same time the dishwasher failed". He politely asked if I had remembered to remove the knock-out plug in the garage disposal, to which I replied "the what?". (Note to self - READ ALL of the installation instructions). Anyway, he didn't treat me like an idiot for not knowing (or reading the instructions), just said I should try that and call him back for a service call if necessary. His advice solved the problem. Amy Connell: The delivery was handled very efficiently ann timely. Any questions that I have had about using our new tub were answered promptly. We highly recommend Lifestyles Hot Tubs for the sale and the service.

He was professional, polite, punctual, knowledgeable, had all of the parts that were needed and completed the work efficiently. Thank you very much for sending us the best of the best!
Mike Siekierzynski: Man has it been rough dealing with this company. The customer service is non existent, the actual product is cheap and not well made. Our brand new hot tub, that was delivered wrong and set up without pieces that we had ordered (the whole salt system!) Took over a year to get it, then to have all these issues. Now it is literally falling apart at 1 year old. When we had a service tech out in Sept. He said to just "kick the side piece back in, it happens". He also never ordered the pieces that fell off exposing sharp staples. When we followed up wondering what was taking so long, the parts never got ordered, so they waited another week then ordered them and never told us they were missed, until we followed back up. Oh and I almost forgot the thermostat stopped working twice in less than a year. I wish I had never bought their product. I am now getting the BBB involved. Please, please save your money and sanity and buy a different product. Hands down the worst company for customer service and product reliability.

I purchased a new hot tub today and I have to say that I am 110% satisfied with the entire experience. Kelli was extremely professional and kind. Kelli’s knowledge and experience could only be eclipsed by her work ethic and dedication. Kelli was very energetic and extremely helpful. I have shopped around and I believe I got the best deal possible on the highest quality hot tub at the best part is it’s getting delivered tomorrow. That is customer service at the highest level. Cheryl Buchler: I boughta Hot tub back in July it was delivered shortly afterwards. It did not work the day it was delivered.Ainsley service center manager came out with a crew and a service man Bob. They both were very knowledgeable, polite,and had went out of there way to fix the problem. Unfortunately it was a manufacturing default and a pump had to be order. At this point they order me a new hot tub right from Hot Springs and updated version at no cost to me, and was going to get this one up and running in the mean time so we would have a working hot tub for winter cause new one wont be in till Feb or March 2023. The pump came in and Bob came out to install it, and still was not working. Bob and tech support realized it was the control panel that was bad. As soon as Bob called Ainsley she was on the phone with me and already order the control panel. Bob came out with control panel and installed it and I finally have a working hot tub with my new one on the way. These two working closely together with good communication between them and me has made this possible.
Todd Rooney: Very helpful and well-informed staff at the Fenton showroom. I am the second owner of a hot tub at a home I purchased, and he walked me through all maintenance, cleaning, and chemical needs as it it was originally purchased through them a couple of years ago.

Jeff A: Up until delivery everything was going well. I was told prior to delivery date that my time window would be 10am-2pm. That day it was changed to noon to 4pm. Not ideal but I could still make it work. At 4pm I had to call again and was informed I was still 2 stops out. At this point I had my son's baseball game that evening and I could not sit around waiting for them to show up. They did move me ahead of the other deliveries and arrived just before 5pm. I still had to make my son's game but my wife waited at home until the install was complete. The next day I noticed they damaged my stairs and never said anything. In addition, as I started to fill up my tub I noticed there was no plug and the water was draining as fast as I was filling. I called customer service and I am now waiting for them to UPS me the plug. So two days into having my hot tub I'm still not able to use it. I am hesitant in recommending Lifestyles to friends and family based on the delivery service
Emily K: I would leave zero stars if I could. Waited 1 year for a new cover and they sent out wrong size cover. Coming up on year 2 of waiting and now the cradle does not work with the new cover. No one has mentioned in the past 2 years that we would also need a new cradle. We’ve also needed things replaced under warranty then those items have gotten canceled because someone noted there was “no payment” We were not even notified, they just didn’t show up at the scheduled time and this is what we were told after the fact. It’s under warranty, of course there is no payment in your system. How this place even exists still is beyond me.
Jake Satawa: We had our tub serviced, heater needed to be replaced. . Cost was almost 1000$. Fast forward to just a year later , the heater is already junk (not heating) and am told the “new” heater is just out of warranty . Junk replacement parts. Not happy
Morenci Brothers: I love my hot tub, purchased at the Lifestyles Ann Arbor location.After a few years of very frequent use, regular care and maintenance, I woke up one morning and my hot tub was not working.So, I called to make an appointment for repair. The appointment was made, then cancelled due to inclement weather. When I made the follow up appointment, I made sure to book it for my day off of work, and payday.The repair man showed up without warning the day before scheduled, outside of the time frame that was scheduled, had an attitude, and claimed our hot tub was beyond repair, and left. I received a call from my wife (who was home at the time) upset about the experience. So I called, explained my frustrations, and I was told they'd get back with me with a solution. Then, I received multiple texts and calls stating that they wanted $194 for the service visit. Keep in mind, they showed up on the wrong date, at the wrong time, and did nothing.The hot tub was fine, is now fixed, (by someone else) and Lifestyles Spas of Fenton was wrong about so many things the entire time and refused to do anything to make it correct.
Jim Havlik: Purchased a used tub in July 2020 for about $9,000. It is nice when it is operational. Unfortunately Lifestyles does not have an adequately staffed service department to keep your tub running. All tubs will need service at times and a tub is therefore only as good as the service behind it. My control panel stopped working over Christmas break 2021. I called Lifestyles to repair it the first week of January. I had to wait 3 weeks for my appointment, which was not great, but I accepted that. The repairman can as promised on 1/25/22 and informed me I needed a new control box and head, which would take 2-3 weeks. It is now March and I am still waiting to hear back from Lifestyles. I have called to check on status several times, but have never been contacted by Lifestyles about status. The truly frustrating part that upsets me is when I learned that it took Lifestyles 10 days to order the parts after my service call. They were able to charge my credit card on the day of the service call, but could not take the time to actually order the part for 10 days. No apology from Lifestyles. It just demonstrates the lack of empathy and responsiveness that you would hope for from a more reputable company. I have been without a tub for the whole winter now, which is when we normally would have used it the most. I have been running a space heater in the hot tub compartment just to keep it from freezing. JEREMY DENTON: overall garbage.I ordered a tub cover in October and was told due to supply chain issues I probably wouldn't see it till after Christmas. I agreed and paid for it. Around Christmas I decided to atop in to see if anything had come up. I was then told my cover was never ordered. I wasn't happy about it but some of the office staff tried to help by offering me another cover they had on hand. it wasn't the color I ordered, but I needed one, so I agreed. I then waited over a week to get it installed. I was given a time window of 12 to 4 pm, as 3 pm approached, I called them and was informed another call was put ahead of me and that the installer was 3 hrs. behind. it was going to 7pm. This being after I rearranged my day to deal with this. After he showed up, he found a part that wasn't installed properly from the last time they were out with the previous owners. He said he would be back with the part the following day. As a good will gesture, he also offered to replace the shock on my cover. the next day came and went, he never showed up 3 days later a guy from their officed showed up with the shock and the part. After I called to complain I was only offered some free chemicals.I will never do business with this outfit again.
david geeham: Buyer beware! Placed deposit on 11/30/2020 for new hot spring tub. Was told 4-6 months wait. Called at 5 month mark and was told 15-20 week more wait. Called at the 15 week mark and was told an additional 12 weeks. I said never mind i will find one somewhere else. Was never notified about extended wait time until i called to inquire so i had had enough of the run around. Was contacted the very next day by chris strom, sales and business development manager, and said i have one in stock for you right now. So i paid for it and received it about 2 weeks later. Upon delivery they did not have the disconnect (supposed to be included and delivered at time of tub). Was told to go buy one and would be reimbursed. Bought one still havent been reimbursed. Went to fill with water and it immediately leaked out. Service call #1 day1. Filled with water wouldnt heat. Service call #2 day 3. Found out pumps were installed backwards. Had to drain tub and reinstall pumps. Service call #3 day 10. Refilled tub which we were supposed to be reimbursed for the water since they recommended we have water delivered. Still havent been reimbursed. Hot tub has trouble codes semi regularly that basically shut down most jet functions and essentially put it in limp mode. Service call #4 within a month. Replaced pressure switch still having codes. I discussed the possibility of receiving a not new hot tub with jamie sever, vice president, he said it sounds like i got a floor model and asked if i received a floor model discount. I said no and its best they just come and get the tub because its obvious i have not received what i paid for. He told me too bad. So i would not recommend buying anything from this place

Dot Griffith: No pool. Still using Covid as a excuse. I got a room JUST TO TAKE A BATH! After a house fire I lost my beautiful bathtub. I suffer with O/A and it’s the one thing that truly helps me. The bathtub was 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮 I had to get whatever clean the helpful front desk clerk had. No access to carts or cleaning materials. Whoever works housekeeping there should be ashamed of themselves! I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Annie: This is a 2 Star Hotel overall. Our recent stay was subpar and if we are in the area again we won’t stay here. If you’re looking for a place with a nice pool and quality breakfast, I suggest you look elsewhere. Overall, they keep the place clean aside from the pool area which was grossly neglected.Pros- location right off the highway, easy check in, room was clean, common areas were clean. Breakfast area was clean and kept tidy, and there were lots of places to sit and eat. So overall cleanliness was good.Cons- pool water was CLOUDY & NASTY! Heavily heavily chlorinated (beyond what a hotel pool is, bc I know they have higher levels anyway) and gave my 2 year old a rash. Pool deck had trash laying around, sharp pieces of plastic from something that had broken, wet dirty towels lying around, and very minimal seating. Pool towels also ran out, so I had to walk to the front desk dripping wet to ask for one. Noisy, other guests were making noise in the hall until 2am- I believe there was a family reunion or something but it was disrespectful to other guests, and woke us up. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, the quality of the eggs and pancakes could greatly be improved.

Not only were rooms not ready, we waited in line for almost 2 hours, with 4 people ahead of us, BECAUSE THEY HAD ZERO CLEAN ROOMS at almost 5pm!!! They also have hidden fees, one being $10 for parking!!! You’re sleeping in their hotel and they charge you to park in their lot, which by the way, you have to dodge potholes in!!! Keycards didn’t work, but neither did their machine to program them. This is the WORST Marriott I have ever stayed in and I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Furniture is nasty and outdated, curtains that are supposed to be white are brown (lobby), curtains in the rooms are riddled with holes. Oh, and check out the dust on the desk - my husband wrote his name in it!You’re better off getting the $80 room right next door. DO BETTER MARRIOTT FLINT!!!

Pool and fitness rooms looked good too. Bed was comfy enough.The Bad:#1: You have to pay $10/night just to park your car there while you stay in their hotel.#2: "The Bistro" is the in house breakfast that you have to pay for. Regular yogurt is $6 and most of the normal breakfast items are going to be $10-$12.#3 The rooms are dated. Bed was old but comfortable enough.Definitely not what I expected. I'm disappointed that I'm stuck here for 2 nights.
Jason Apol: I'm a titanium member. Stopped here because it was late and it was convenient. Let's just say this place is stuck somewhere in 1990. Broken lamp shade, dirt on the walls, one arm on the sofa is caved in and there are many stains on it, the curtains above the air conditioner are mostly white but are black on the bottom edges...I think Marriott corporate has forgotten about this place.... 😕
Adam Guerra: This place needs a major remodeling. There’s damaged flooring baseboard everywhere: the lobby, the elevator, the room. Furniture in the room is pretty beat up. The sofa had a huge tear on it. I was never able to log in to the wifi, I thought it was my computer, but the problem did not replicate in a different different hotel.The elevator needs to be replaced all together: the buttons don’t respond, some don’t turn on at all. And the carpet seems like its been there 30 years.
Sandy Cox: When you walk into the lobby you go oh this looks ok. Then I go to my room. Well I had to pick up a couple pieces of paper on the carpet, I look up and they are cobwebs in more then one place. No cups for coffee . Hot tub did not work or the pool. Forget the fitness room only the elliptical worked. It also very dusty in there . I didn’t know they charged you to park. They do not shovel between the cars or around the cars so expect to step into the snow so don’t wear good shoes. I would not recommend this placeMarriotts use to be a high quality hotel. Not anymore.
