Asked for rest of money to pay for more materials. Half my floors are bare (water soaks in)or have only one coat of polyurethane (vs. the 4 promised). Dan Hess won’t take or return my calls or texts! I have called from other phone numbers, he will answer and promise to “make it right,” but then never shows or takes my calls again. Going on 3 months now.....Update: Dan Hess’ Wood Floor has been a “no show” for 5 months now and still won’t answer my calls. Kevin Rush: Dan came to my house with his crew a year ago and put in a hall way which they attached to my existing wood floor that runs from my front room through the kitchen and dining room. Then they completely sanded it and re-stained the entire flooring to all match. It looks tremendous a year later. My wife said it was the floor she always wanted since we built the house. I have read some other reviews and I have my doubts. Dan was careful to explain how to clean the floor and what to use. I would highly recommend him and his crew. Don Elliott: I would not recommend this company. I had them sand and refinish my entire house and I had to have them return several times after they said they were done to complete the job properly. It seemed as though they were cutting corners trying to finish hoping I wouldn't notice the mistakes so that they could move onto the next job. In the process they damaged my newer stainless steel fridge by putting a large scratch all the way across the bottom front of it. Then didn't finish. I finally told him to leave and not come back. I told him I wanted my money back and he disappeared! I hunted him back down he agreed to pay me back then disappeared again! I would NEVER hire this loser! I will be suing him now. Which I never do. He's left me NO choice!

Kaisa Ring: Had Jed come out to redo my part of my first floor remodel. Price was right, he seemed nice, and had decent reviews. I was away at the time work was done, but he sent me pics along the way and they looked great so I left a glowing review, AND paid him extra for doing what I thought was a job well done. I WAS WRONG. WORST JOB EVER. Not only was there a giant pile of 15 contractor trash bags on the back porch, the doors were blocked with all the moved furniture I couldn’t get into my house, and THE FLOORS WERE TERRIBLE! Apparently he had rushed the last coat of poly which caused them bubbled up everywhere. There were gouges in the floors, overspray stain everywhere on the walls and baseboards, trim that was never put back, but THE MESS he left inside the rest of the house was INSANE!!! THERE WAS WOOD DUST EVERYWHERE. It was piled up in inches in the corners, in all the blinds, drapes, couches, carpets, pillows, blankets, and taxidermy. After 2 nights in my house and had to leave bc I had a sinus infection and then had to spent $1500 for my house to be cleaned from top to bottom 3x. Seems, he had sanded with all of the doors open. I tried to be reasonable bc his Dad had just passed and I understand he’s a small business so we came to an agreement, but 1yr later he has not held his end up. Honestly I’m not sure I’d want him back in the house any way since the work was so bad. NICE GUY but:1. always late, like hours late2. always smelled like weed3. workmanship was shoddy at best4. unprofessional and messy all around.TLDR; price my be cheap but not when the job takes 3x longer and costs 3x more to fix.

Cindy Cox: In the store employees were nice and helpful. I picked out vinyl for a tiny bathroom. When I received my quite it seemed a little pricey but I liked what I picked out. I was utterly shocked how the workers treated me and my house. My house is older and I am updating. Once they tore up old flooring they said my floor was rotted. He basically accused me of knowing it was rotted and I "made out like a bandit" with what I paid. He pretty much insisted I pay more money than what I was initially told. Everything was torn up so I felt like I had no choice. When they removed my toilet they put it in my tub(I didn't realize this until the end). I didn't have an issue with that but they never put anything down in the tub. I have a scratch from where they put the toilet. Where the vinyl was cut looks super jagged and many other issues. I was going to call and complain but at this point there is NOTHING Fogelsongers could do to make it right. I will never use them again.

I changed to oak for a new look and what a difference it made. The workmanship is excellent as usual; the project only took two days, everything spotless when they left. Karen Bishop: We had been looking for tile and I was thrilled to find Glenn's. They had EXACTLY what I'd been looking for. Tammy offered to get me a sample, saying it would take a few days. One week later I emailed her and again was told it should be a few days & she'd let me know. It is now 10 days later and I have heard nothing. Today, I am purchasing my tile somewhere else. I might love their products, but the customer service turned me off.

Monica Knowles: We did a renovation on our home in and Glenn's did the carpet and tile. It was completed in December. We went with Glenn's because we had been told their tile person was excellent and he was. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for their carpet installation. We selected two carpets, one had a grid and the other had a stripe pattern. The grid carpet was put in our family room and bedrooms. The family room was really the worst, from day one, there was a large wrinkle, the grid wasn't straight, the carpet had space where it met the hardwood floor so you could literally see the floor board and it was very low to the floor around it. In the bedrooms there was a gap where the carpet met the baseboard. I talked with Tammy in January and she came out to see it, her solution was that they could stretch the carpet. Okay, but it didn't solve the problems. She had a representative from the carpet company come out a couple months later who confirmed there wasn't a problem with the carpet. Tammy stood in the family room, acknowledged it didn't look right and said they would stand behind their work, and that they could stretch the carpet again. NOT! Eventually I bought new carpet for the family room from another provider who did a wonderful job installing the new carpet and reinstalling the carpet the Glenn's had put in the bedrooms. Glenn's may have a good price, but I spent almost $16,000 on carpet and tile and could barely get a call back, let alone have them "stand behind" their work. I suspect that wool carpet is not their sweet spot. Whatever the case, our new carpet is perfect, which only confirmed that Glenn's didn't know what they were doing.Fyi, that carpet with the stripe was used on a stairway. The issue with the strip carpet was that they turned it at the bottom of the steps so the stripes on the landing were perpendicular to the steps. I thought I would have that redone when Glenn's corrected the grid carpet, but since Glenn's could only provide reasons why they couldn't fix the carpet, I had that corrected by the new installer and it too looks perfect.

Marty Bolten: I have worked with Tammy at Glen's Tile and Carpet for several renovations in our home. I don't normally write reviews, but Tammy and her staff have done such an exceptional job I feel compelled to write one. Glen's has a great selection of carpet, tile & wood flooring, and back splash tiles. Tammy is so good with design tips and advice on what works best with each room I have renovated, including helping me chose paint colors and granite, and helping me coordinate all aspects of the renovation. The workmen who came to measure and lay the carpet were competent and showed up on time. They even vacuumed before they left. I really appreciate Tammy's friendliness and professionalism. I highly recommend Glenn's Tile and Carpet!

David Campbell: Told the saleswoman I needed tile for my kitchen floor and she sold me tile that I found out later is only suitable for walls as it is not hard enough to withstand foot traffic. It cracked easily after it was installed. Stay away from this store and the saleswoman.
