BOUGIE Girl (B Great): They used to be really good! Now they do a lot of talking and joking around while doing your hair so your braids aren’t as crispy as they should be and don’t last that long. Also, their prices go up every time, I go, for the same style and length and I go pretty frequently. They randomly tell you prices off the top of their head. They don’t have set pricing. The 1st time I went it was $150 to the middle of my back, the next time I went it was $180 to the middle of my back, the next time I went it was $160 for 20 big fat braids, I just called to see how much the same style I normally get was and they told me $250. And don’t get me wrong. I know prices are going up on everything but every time you go to them they are randomly telling you prices, that’s not cool and their service has fallen short!Service:Braids

I get there and pick out the hair for the girl and everybody else in the salon to tell me my hair was too long for micros… FIRST RED FLAG. Then, i agreed to get twist because i have in the past from her. Horrible Idea. One person did my hair and finished my SMALL Senegalese twist in less than 6 hours. SECOND RED FLAG. I had to ask her to trim the twist because there were random fly aways. My braids are not the same size, AND my real hair is coming out of the twist. MY $250 was WASTED.Services:Twist braids,Braids

ladaysia Alexander: Very disappointing!!! Been going to Miriam’s for a year now and the length of my braids got shorter and shorter every-time I went. Once I expressed concerns I was told “new braiders stretch the hair” which I feel is a poor excuse for $220. My hair was done for two days and braids started falling out, my hair is not short so there was no reason my braids should’ve been loose. I called and was told I’ll have to take my hair down and come back in the next day to get my hair braided over again, beyond that there was nothing that could’ve been done.Service:Braids

Jonda Sparks: They're very courteous and nice and they work really quickly I even went back to get it recurred and they did it at no charge then give any attitude or anything and I tipped her I think her name was Tubi I was very pleased with the word next time I get it braided though I will tell them to put extra hair in the braid because they do braid every strand but my strands need to be a little thicker so they don't my hair doesn't break that was the only downside.

Ju Ju: I read the reviews first. I was scared that my braids would be too tight to where my scalp would welt up. I got individuals. It was tight but not too tight. They were late to arrive to open the shop and I had to wait on a braider to get there before they started on my hair. Its certain things that you have to expect with post-covid small businesses understaffing being the main thing. But the staff is friendly and sociable. They got me in and out in about 3 hours and I watched Netflix the whole time. This was a good experience.

Lady Fidelity: Scheduled an appointment 3 days in advance for my daughter and when I got there a woman was braiding someone else and looked at me like "what appointment". She said she'd be another hour so we left and came back one hour later and she was still braiding the same girl, so we sat and waited about 25 min and I finally decided to leave. She tried to stop me and ask for me to wait another half hour or so. When I declined and said I have other kids at home to tend to and it would then be 2 hours after my original appointment time. She then said I could leave my 7 year old and she'd call me when she was done. Guess what.... not happening! I'm not leaving my child with someone I don't know in a place she's unfamiliar with and to pay good money for her to start at 6pm which was two hours late. Nope, won't be back!

I’m definitely coming back to them. Well money spent and the staff were very professional. I love the fact they asked if you want your edges out, is it too tight etc.
