Poe Hawthorne: I purchased 6 dining room chairs from Thomasville in October 2021, waited for 4 months for them to be delivered and they did not put the casters on two chairs.Finally 10 months later the casters are on but the company is refusing to pay me what I paid to get the chairs fitted.I have documentation stating that thay would reimburse me.I can’t get a check because they sent the check to the furniture store. My dealing are with you and not the store.I’m not getting anywhere now and can’t get people to return my phone calls

Darcy Hawkins: We purchased a dining room set Labor Day weekend. We were told 8-10 weeks. It ended up taking longer than that but it finally came and the furniture is beautiful! Within 2 days due to an accident, we had a couple of gouges in the seat of a chair. I called and asked Jeff what to use to fix it. He volunteered to stop in and see what he could do. He was able to fix it in 10 minutes and no one can tell where the damage is. I am so grateful! All of the staff we worked with were pleasant and patient. It was a big investment but I am glad we could support a local business during the pandemic.

When I called about getting my money back they said that I could an in store credit. wrong. I haven't taken delivery on it yetso I should be able to get my money back. After bringing up getting my lawyer invalued, they said they would give me back my money. I can't wait to get my chairs so that I never have to do business with them again.

Lucia Vorce: We are so disappointed with Talsma. Our shopping experience with the rep on the floor was great. But it has been less than satisfactory since then. We spent a lot of money to furnish our new home and took advantage of the 2 year no finance deal. When our furniture arrived we were missing an ottoman. They claimed it was not on the order sheet (not too sure how that happened). They ordered it at full price (not the sale price) and would not add it to our 2 year finance. Fast forward to 8 months later. The 2 living room chairs are already fraying. I was told warranty does not cover this and to use a device to remove. These chairs are barely sat in and not even a year old! I never would have chosen this fabric had I known it wouldn't even hold up 8 months! We are also having all sorts of issues with the billing department. They never sent one invoice or email. We thought we paid off the ottoman but apparently they have been applying the payments to the 2 year finance contract and are not charging us 29% interest! Ridiculous! Never again and I will never recommend them to anyone.

dwight oswalt: After waiting forever for our bedroom furniture we finally got it only to discover it was flawed. They sent their delivery guy to pick it up and he left our mattress on the floor for us to sleep on. After calling the store to complain they sent a guy out with a loaner frame so we didn’t have to sleep on the floor. Now it’s been a few weeks of barely any communication and after several texts we are finally getting our bed back. They set up our delivery for 9-12 so I stayed home rather then doing what I needed to do only to sit here watching the time tick by waiting. It is now after one o’clock and of course no call to say they will be late or if they are even coming. This is my last time dealing with Talsma. If your smart you will go elsewhere also

Robin Brand: I went to this store for the first time and found the sales people helpful and friendly. They allowed me to take home a fabric sample which ultimately resulted in my purchase of an electric recliner. Amanda explained the warranty on the chair as well as stating that Broene’s backs up any purchases and to just let them know if there are any issues and they would address them. I was also very happy that there was no delivery fee and that they would take my old chair for $35. I will definitely return here for any future furniture needs.

My girls hunted down the 13 hidden chicks in the store a won a prize. Oh ya we ordered a beautiful new dining table that will be here in 4 to 5 months. It was sale which not only meant a lower price but also no sales tax. Delivery is free since we live within 30 miles. So excited for our new table!

It is grey leather and high-backed and so comfy and just so great (gushing I know, but I do love it!).There are so many pieces in that store that I can see in my home. It is expensive, but the quality is worth it. I also love that you can pretty much customize anything!

Well worth it, though.Additional note: Our ordered Amish furniture was fulfilled after 6 months of waiting, but we are perfectly happy with what they delivered and set-up! Such art and craftsmanship! In fact, it is even nicer than their displayed pieces, which were already fine pieces.Feeling very happy about Broene's Furniture right now.Included 6 photos, just so you can get a sense of the wood quality and the beautiful grain-figuring as well as the fine finishes and construction.

Matthew VandeWater: The selection and pricing of their products are good, and of good quality. Good luck if you run into any issues that require repair. The service tech/warehouse rep is slow to respond and requires that the customer work around his schedule. I have been attempting to get a replacement piece for 3 weeks and all I get are excuses.
John Brooks: Ordered a custom bed, from their hand picked builders. Bed has gaps all around that items fall in to. When their rep came out to look at it, he told me to cut some plywood and fit it in to cover them. For $3200 you want me to fix my own bed? The finish has never cured properly. 2 years later it still smells of wet finish. The headboard needs to be raised 8 inches to match the rest of the bed and actually be seen. They told me to just screw some wooden blocks to it. Save yourself the time and money and order online or find a local builder. Over priced and under served.
