Mike Peterson: Our experience was ok , we ordered a Upright Freezer with glass shelves. We were told none in inventory but have six due the following Thursday and could deliver one on Saturday, so we decided to do it and paid for it that day. Well Saturday came and went with no Freezer or curtisy call. We don't do box stores because of 3 rd party everything , Northgate has always been our choice and have moved so needed a new go to place for appliances, so upon calling on Monday we were told they now would not have one until beginning of April about 3 more weeks out so we settled for a wire rack Freezer same style we ordered , we all know the ends of the wire racks eventually rust, in my experience, The eventual deliver was excellent. I would probably go back and give another chance.

Graciela Francisco: I went to Nawara as a recommendation from a dear friend. I needed a stackable washer & dryer. Customer service was very good. Previous to going in, I signed up for their line of credit and was granted it right away. I purchased the unit. I had to wait a few days as it was coming from Chicago. During that time, my refrigerator went out and I showed up to the store again and met with a couple of their sales folks, who assisted me with my selection. I elected a floor model and received a great discount! And the best part was that both units got to be delivered at the same time and only charged once for delivery! The delivery guys were also awesome! Very knowledgeable as well and with a smile on their faces. They installed and tested the equipment prior to leaving, and also explained how to use them (besides leaving the manuals.) Overall, the transaction was very smooth, professional, and very pleasant. I recommend Nawara Brothers to all looking for appliances, as this was my experience. They sell other household items as well. Check them out, and support our local businesses!

We decided to shop at Gerritt's appliance, as we know they have been a family business for over 70 years and a model business in our Grand Rapids community. We went on a Saturday afternoon and had the pleasure of working with Ben Geers, a fourth generation Gerritt's man. Ben helped us navigate through many brands of washers. He was calm, cool and collected through the many questions my wife had for him about washers and dryers. He was very honest and gave us his true opinion on what he would consider as a consumer. He didn't try to get us to buy a more pricey model just to get a good sale. After we made the purchase, we had to wait almost 2 weeks before we could get delivery. We told them to put us on their cancellation list. I got a call the following Tuesday from Ben letting us know they did have a cancellation. We had to do some rearranging of schedules but we did and Ben and his crew of Tyler and Levi made this happen. My wife met them at the house and they did an excellent install job for us--clean, neat and didn't leave a mess for us. Bonus, they also didn't make me feel bad for having my two young kids with me. My husband and I were shopping on a Saturday morning with our two tiny humans who were not exactly cooperating and no one made us feel like we should come back later without them.

Tiffany Fox: I love l, love supporting local companies! I go out if my way to do so. I used to love Gerrit’s, but no longer feel that way. I ordered a dishwasher and refrigerator on December 26. I have a smaller dishwasher. I brought measurements, serial and model numbers. The sales guy said the dishwasher I wanted would 100%work: I had him triple check. Two weeks later upon the arrivalOf the dishwasher. It did not fit. On to the refrigerator. The wrong one was delivered. They installed the wrong refrigerator. I ordered side by side. Delivered is bottom drawer freezer. Then there were no handles. I got passed around to solve my issue. I begged to get handles delivered when the 2nd dishwasher came in. It was a good call because the handles they had delivered were for the Electrolux I originally purchased. What I have now (again not the one ordered) is a Frigidaire gallery. We wanted the side by side Electrolux because we use a ton of ice. So now the fridge that I’m stuck with not only has a smallIce compartment. If did not work. So February 19th a guy came to put in a new Ice maker, in the new freezer I did not buy. There has been no follow up. I had to constantly call, follow up. I worked with an owner, two sales people and I think a manager. They made me feel like I was annoying. I was very nice. Not to mention the appointments I had to cancel to wait for things to get fixed. They never offered a different refrigerator, compensation or different solution. I’m going to re do my kitchen soon. I’ll be using Bekin’s.

He also owned an arduous rebate submission process for us, making sure we got all of our money back. That kind of service is valuable. More valuable than that, was when one of the appliances failed not long after the warranty expired. When the manufacturer failed to take action David became our superhero. He spent countless hours tracking down a solution and got us cared for without us having to spend another dollar. We appreciate him and the Decker & Sons team more than we can express! Best price or not - they are our appliance provider for life now!

Betty Near: I recall going to Decker with my mother when I was a child. I too have bought several appliances and TV's there throughout the years. Imagine my surprise when I went there today (1/13/23) to look for a new TV, and was told that Decker no longer sells TV's. What a huge disappointment!

Tom: They don't service what they sell in house and refer you to a second party repair service. Good luck with getting someone on the phone. It's less than a two year old refrigerator...lesson learned, deal only with companies that provide direct service instead of quickly getting you off the phone with only a phone number.

Nunya Biznees: Update: worked for a load of laundry and is broken again.Time will tell. We've had our washer only 2 months and it's broke a few times already. They do come and fix it but I'm not sold that it's just a waiting game till the next issue. They do have pretty good communication and friendly staff.

Thomas Firme: Had bad luck with two washing machines from TJ's ..he brought a second one over after the first one wasn't working right ..and the second one wouldn't drain right either..told us to use the "rinse and spin" button till clothes were dry(er)..spent about four months with this problem (which got worse and worse as time went on before giving up and getting another machine from Lee Appliance on Eastern, SE..definitely avoid the place if possible..they basically said it was our problem not theirs at some point. The new washer from Lee Appliance (same price as TJ's) is working great by the way.

Tammy Todd: My daughter bought a stove from these POS. The stove had only one burner that worked and terrible gas smell, the repair man came out was unprofessional and using racial comments. Told them how to level the stove and didn't fix anything. So now they have a stove they paid for that doesn't work and have to buy another. Can not believe that they had to go through this would never go back and definitely NOT recommend it to anyone!

He scheduled us for the following day, but had a cancellation. Came out same day and fixed it in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. Kevin Taylor: Went in looking for a recliner on a Saturday. We found one we liked and got rushed through the transaction. We were told we could pick it up the following week on Friday, which was fine.The day of comes, we borrowed a friends truck for the day only to be told that it wasn't on the shipment that came in. We had to tell our friend that we actually didn't need the truck anymore and returned it.The sales guy, Mike, said he could get us free delivery right to our house the following Monday. Not great, but I'll take free delivery. Mike tells us we will receive an email before 7AM on Monday telling us a four hour window in which it will be delivered.I took time off work today, the Monday they said it will be delivered. 7AM comes and goes with no contact from ABC about it. They let us know at 7:40 that the recliner is on back order. Got a call around 9:30 from the warehouse guy that it's not in stock and would be hearing from Mike around 10:30. Mike called and told us that the warehouse numbers were wrong and the chair was not in stock and we could wait for another or get a refund. I opted for the latter.- How did the warehouse miscount?- Why wasn't it confirmed when they missed that Friday?- Why was I promised free delivery when it didn't even show up?Absolutely horrible service.

Elizabeth Schasser: We found a gas range we wanted and got it paid for and such. They told us they would deliver, install/hook up, and haul away the old one. We waited several weeks for it but knew with Coronavirus shipping and such would be unreliable. The warehouse finally got the range and we set up a delivery time. Even though we were informed they would install/hook up when we bought it, the call to set up delivery changed and they would not install/hook up. Quite disappointed in that as it was a big reason we purchased in the first place. Probably why they didn't "charge" us for it when we agreed to purchase.

Leo: Spent 1950.00 on a washer n dryer, promised working on delivery, promised Friday delivery, Friday canceled and got them a week later.. delivery guys called 15 min out and won't wait, email stated 45 min call ahead of time.. finally delivered but did not hook them up as promised, garbage service, after we paid for 2 delivery fees for 1 delivery.. what a joke. If I would have known I wouldn't have paid the delivery and just grabbed them myself and did a self install.. or went with a different company all together, as prices was the same for the same machines at 3 other stores I checked.Also to top that off the original chosen set was a couple months out.. couldn't have mentioned that before we started looking at them. Yeah non returning here.

They took the old machine away with no noise or scratches to walls. They called us into Laundry Room shortly thereafter. Richard Hill: We had never heard of Bekins. But we were shopping for a Bosch dishwasher and found them listed on the Bosch website. The showroom was amazing, and Erika was very helpful. We had planned on getting the least expensive 100 series but after she explained the differences, we chose a 300 series dishwasher. They installed it a couple days later and their guys did a great job. And the Bosch dishwasher is amazing. Since we are just two people, we don’t run a dishwasher every day. With our old dishwasher we had to rinse dishes before loading or the food would dry on and not come clean. We were told not the rinse the dishes with this Bosch yet they come out perfectly clean even on the second or third day.

Kelli Bond: I can’t say enough good things about Bekins-they know their appliances. All of their appliances work in the store, all of their installers, and technicians work for Bekins, and they have a one hour window in which your appliance will be delivered!! Crazy right? You get comparable prices from other vendors (because they check them nightly). Let’s not forget the thank you card and flower you get the day of delivery. Oh and one more important thing to consider-we had our dishwasher in a week, a week!! Box stores anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks-and they didn’t know anything about their appliances that we couldn’t look up.

Hailey Dupon: All the associates we worked with were professional, courteous and quick to respond. We worked with Robin who helped us get connected with our new Bosch 800 dishwasher. The crew (Curtis and Jason) who installed our dishwasher were happy to help answer any questions we had and also helped us consider additional upgrades we could do for our other kitchen appliances down the line.Would recommend and purchase through Bekins again!

The fridge and the house had to have the doors removed and it was still a tight fit. Nonetheless, they got it installed perfectly!

Valerie Engeltjes: Bekins has always provided excellent customer service, but yesterday they astounded us. On Wednesday, December 21, our TV quit working. We were facing a long holiday weekend that we had planned to spend watching our favorite Christmas shows—especially since a once-in-a-generation blizzard was heading towards Michigan, and we knew we’d be hunkered in for the duration.To make a long story short, we called Bekins on Thursday, December 22. Avery started taking care of us immediately and did whatever she could to move the process along. Johanna and Corey worked together to find us the exact TV we needed. We trusted their judgement and didn’t even look at options. We were told to expect the TV early afternoon on the 23rd, weather permitting.Barely a half hour after we left the store, Avery called and said she could get the TV to us that afternoon. (Sometimes living in the same town as the warehouse has its advantages!) Mitch came out, set us up, and headed back out into the snow.They all scrambled to help, and we sincerely appreciate it—especially when we learned that Bekins was doing the absolutely right thing by closing its stores and service that very evening so employees could be safely home until Monday, December 26. At one point, my husband told Avery she saved our marriage!Literally for decades we have purchased every appliance, sound system, and TV from Bekins because their service is exemplary. We will continue to do so.

Maggie Bonetti: I wish I could give them 0 stars because I would.I have purchased many appliances from Lee Enterprise, but my most recent experience has ruined my ability to recommend them.I purchased a Washer/ Dryer set in Sept. 2019 for a vacant rental property that was going through renovations. We finally had a tenant move in on March 1, 2020. Last week, almost a year to the day that we purchased the appliances, the tenant informs me that the dryer no longer works. I called Mike at Lee to have someone come look at the unit.A few days later, Mike tells me that the unit is not only broken but that it cannot be fixed because no one makes the parts to fix it anymore. When I told him that he sold it to me, he acted very surprised and didn't believe me. I had to show him the receipt in order for him to believe me. When I asked him for a reasonable deal on a new dryer, he would not give me one.I cannot recommend Lee Enterprise to anyone, and I will not shop there anymore for any of my rental properties.

C Smith: We purchased a used W/D set approximately 18 months ago due to great business reviews and the one year warranty. Within the first 6 months, we had to have a tech out a couple of times for repairs (to both machines) which was frustrating but the customer service and response time was fast and the tech was great to work with. I called just after our 1 year warranty expired (Nov 2022) with issues with both machines again knowing we would have to pay for repairs (frustrating for the amount spent for the used set in such a short time). I was told I'd get a call back. Two weeks passed so I called again with the promise of a call back. Unfortunately I've still not heard back. We had such a great beginning experience but after all the issues we've had, I feel like it's tough to recommend based on these issues and lack of communication.

Katie S: Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service after a big investment. After purchasing over $10k in new appliances from Synergy, they won’t call us back. We’ve called dozens of times to get some help with a leaky ice/water dispenser. Israel says he will have the service dept call us back, and they’ve never called back. The leak has since caused the finish of the refrigerator to start peeling off around the inset of the dispenser. Brand new professional-grade appliances, and the film over the SS is peeling! Wouldn’t recommend buying from them.

They listened to how I would use the appliances and made recommendations that met those needs as compared to suggestive selling a more expensive unit. I also just purchased a washer for my home based on my past experiences. Their prices are extremely competitive with all the big box store and you get the small town, personable service. I no longer even look at other stores. Product knowledge, price and service. They have it all.

I just bought my first home and originally purchased appliances from Lowes—I sold my old appliances the night before delivery and the delivery window comes and goes with no appliances. I call lowes and they tell me the items were never put on a truck and were never coming. I immediately cancelled my order and panicked and went to Synergy Appliances and bought a refrigerator and stove and within days they were delivered. I was given a call the night before and the day of to confirm my delivery. We had issues with trim pieces and the fridge not fitting and they even went the extra mile to help remove trim and drywall so it would fit! I am so beyond happy with their service. I definitely will be going back for a washer/dryer soon and recommending them to everyone :)

Then, Nick and Israel did a fantastic job installing our refrigerator and delivering our oven and microwave. They were very professional, and took time to educate us about the appliances after they completed the installation. While we weren’t ready to install our oven and microwave yet (kitchen renovation), they even offered to come back and help us out whenever we were ready to install. We are excited to use our beautiful new appliances, and very much appreciated the Synergy team’s customer service.
