Dylan Wilmeth: Fantastic and friendly service, they let me test their spare acetate sheets until I found the one that was right for me.
Caribbean xox: Website says it's open untill 5:30 pm on Wenesdays. I walked 20 minutes to get there bc I do not have a car and I get out of work at 5pm but, left work early; and when I got there at 5:11 pm, it was closed.

Kellan: I really enjoy this establishment. They sell a wide variety of wares for the beginner to the expert artist, and have a price point for each. The only issue that I have with this shop is that I can never go because of the hours.This shop obviously never caters to the working masses since the latest they are ever open is until 5:30p.m. So, here I sit, unable to buy anything at my local art shop because they're consistently closed at the usual time in which anyone is able to get out of work.Now, I don't want to have a business make decisions based off of just a sole individual, but just ONE day in which they are open until 6:30 would be the most amazing thing that this place could do.
chrisholley dumond: This is a solid art store. It has the basics supplies that you would need for art-watercolor, pastels, oils, etc.... I give it a four out of five because the store is basic, I wish it was more ‘inspired’. I previously lived close to an art store that always inspired and had me wanting to explore new mediums-at this store I walk in, get what’s on my list and walk out. Customer service is always great.

But they do have some decent deals as well. Mostly a lot of scrapbook stuff. Was disappointed that I couldn’t use a gift certificate & debit card at the same time. My order was more than my gift certificate covered and they made me pay all of it on my debit card. I’ll probably come back just to use the certificate but I don’t think I’ll be coming back very often after that.

I love supporting local businesses, but even the vibe was off. I walked in and smiled, yet no one looked up to welcome me. I walked around for a while and still, no one offered any type of assistance. I was let down by my experience here at the Craft Outlet on Buchanan.

Paul Puhalski: I called to ask about pantone matching colors. Who ever answered the phone was very curt. When asked if they did pantone matching he said yes "but" they only do it for "customers"! I've purchased products from them before but not on a regular basis. I wonder what their definition of a customer is? He also said "it was a lot of work doing pantone matching." Work is work! Told him just forget it. I was helped out by a wonderful saleswoman at T&J Screen Supplies in IL. Her answer was yes, no problem!! I'll ship it out First thing in the morning. Screen Grafex will not get one more dollar of my money. I didn't spend much money with them over the years but a customer is a customer. "Colossal D*uche" of a sales person!!

Zoey was so very helpful to point to a section of 200 fabrics and say it's over there and not actually show us where the product we needed was. Very disappointed I'd rather go to fields fabric.
Elisa: First time in this location, TONS of fabrics and crafting papers and good signage throughout the store. Employees who were working through our the store were not very kind but the tall skinny brunette working the counter was very sweet. DO NOT use the bathrooms here!!!!! I could not believe how dirty the bathroom was! I can certainly understand being busy and short staffed but there was dark thick dust on the toilet seat covers container, the stall doors, dirt all over the floors and walls. I would have felt more comfortable in a gas station bathroom in all honesty! Besides that if you need fabric and no potty breaks this is your place!

I frequently plan my purchases around what I can use coupons on, and it's frustrating to find an item that doesn't appear to be on sale only to get to the register to find out that it IS and I can't use the coupon on it.
