Alex Brenner: I use to frequent this restaurant 7 years ago and was glad to see it survived the pandemic. On my recent visit I noticed the menu was updated and decided to get the chicken, steak, shrimp burrito vs the usual chicken, steak, shrimp fajitas I would get. It was good, but nothing particularly special. The little side of guac on the lettuce seemed dark and not as fresh as I would've liked. The complimentary chips lack salt, but that's probably best for my health. The accompanying salsa is average, but complimentary. Service is great and food came out very quickly. The inside decor is neat as they have many plants including vines traversing the ceiling and is clean. I've never ordered an alcoholic drink here so I cannot comment on their margaritas.Overall it's a good Mexican restaurant and hits most of the marks I'm looking for when I want to dine in and get a quick burrito or fajita and leave full with potential leftovers without breaking the bank.

Patrick mooney (Pmoon): Went back to this place after not having gone there in a long time and was reminded why I used to like it.We consider ourselves to be margarita snobs and like a freshly made marg with good tequila and fresh juices and when we asked our server for a certain tequila that was on their menu we saw that she literally climbed up to the top shelf to get our tequila down for the bartender.The drinks were refreshing and not excessively tart and sour like bottled margarita mix.My wife ordered the fajita burrito and I got the burrito loco, they were both delicious!We are definitely putting this place back on the top of our list of favorite Mexican restaurants.

Chet Fetszer: I kept it simple with just tacos for my first visit here. Best tacos I've had and the other 3 family members with me were equally impressed. Just damn great authentic food. The chips and salsa alone are worth the visit. Our waiter was top notch, and actually probably the most professional I've experienced. 3 stars for atmosphere just because it was really low- key. I'm not sure what they did, but they are not the same, they are just ok now. Please go back to the way you used to make them. I don't live in GR anymore. Coddiwompler: The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I’ve never had to pay for chips and dip in any other Mexican restaurant. But other than that, this place is extremely efficient and the food is plentiful and somewhat tasty. It just needed a little more seasoning.

Megan Meredith: I recently went here for lunch and it was very delicious! I am from out of town so I had been recommended this place. I have bad Fruit & Nut allergies, and also pregnant so I was a bit nervous of some of the items on the menu. Our waitress and the head chef were so kind and made sure of my allergies and were very cautious. This made me feel so much better and more confident in the restaurant. They handled it it all so well. I had modifications done and it was still all excellent! I definitely recommend this place for everybody! The vibes were great and the patio is super cute.

Jeffery Russell: To the point, the food is good and the service is OK - more staff at peak hours would be better. The thing that I liked the least was the pea gravel out in the courtyard. It makes for unlevel tables and tipsy chairs. I would, at the minimum, pour concrete pads for the tables and chairs, if not cover the whole area with concrete. As always, parking sucks on Wealthy Street, but it's doable if you exercise patience. My food picks are the Brussels sprout and the Barbacoa tacos - innovative and yummy.Parking: Wealthy Street area needs more parking in general.

Tyler Thoms: Honestly this was delicious. Definitely one of the better tacos that I've had. I was trying to get a decent selection of the different varieties of meat and then of course I always need to get a tamale.I had a barbacoa, Pollo, al pastor, and chorizo. It was fantastic. I'm always partial to El pastor that has pineapple with it because I just love the sweetness with the marinated pork. The barbacoa was so tender and so juicy.Service was efficient. I was there during lunch time. It wasn't super busy. I was in and out within 30 minutes and incredibly satisfiedVegetarian options: What's Mexican restaurant? So obviously lots of meat options but there's also plenty of options for vegetarians. Rice and beans are always available

Paul Neil: I ordered take out from here for dinner and live about 15 min away, so 30 min round trip. I was given the wrong food, which I got home with, opened and touched to see if it was close enough to just be able to keep. It wasn’t, so I returned the order (granted this is another 30 min round trip) no real apologies, or you can keep that food, or offering a discount. No they went ahead and charged me for the extra 5.00 or so my order was, then they repackaged the food for the other person. This was quite disappointing as I liked this place, but it looks like I will be going somewhere else from now on.

Laura: First off, this place is horribly understaffed. I went on a Saturday and there was only one waitress and one hostess for the whole restaurant. Second of all, the food was horrible. I love Mexican food, and this place was BAD. I got the queso, which was just a white cheezsauce, with no peppers or flavor at all. The Hawain quesadilla was only 2 peices for $16.99 and some watery sourcream. When I got it, there were zero veggies inside, no pineapple and the chicken was so dry. This may be the worst Mexican food I have ever had. How do you mess up a quesadilla? HOW?

We were seated immediately and the hostess was quite nice -- we got the choriqueso, which is BOMB with the corn tortillas. Super fresh. Super tasty. Great to take for later too! We also got the arroz con pollo and a trio of enchiladas. It was exactly what we were looking for and very fresh and flavorful.*less important stuff below*Upon sitting we listened as a couple next to us complained to their waitress about there being salt on the rim of their margaritas, which made us giggle incessantly. The couple seemed quite upset about it, so much so that the woman said, "no one wants a mouth full of salt", but what really hammered it home for me was the waitress going, "well, that's actually just how we make them and is the typical way to go about it", which has us rolling. Proud of her for standing her ground with those folk being silly.Our waitress was very nice and very fast. She seemed a little put off that we were in it to win it, meaning, we were ready to get in, gorge ourselves, and immediately leave with as little human contact as possible. We had just worked all day. Only complaint with her isn't even a complaint to be honest. She just repetitively kept responding to us with, "of course". "Of course". "Of course". 🤣 This also set us into giggle fits.Overall this place was definitely great. I was vaguely annoyed by the booths being those ones that have seats on either side of one booth -- one of those situations where if you get a fidgety neighbor on the other side of your bench, you're in for a little bit of a ride. But that was a small price for the rest of it.

Mary Jane Scherer: We came here 5/14 for dinner before our concert. We only ordered 1 vegetarian burrito and 1 steak quesadilla. We were waiting for our food for at least 30 minutes. They were pretty busy, but the employees had no sense of urgency. The long wait time for our food was frustrating since people who came in and ordered after us received their food before us. We ended up receiving our food that had been sitting under the counter by the register. The environment was also slightly uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The food was ok, not good. The quesadilla was very greasy and the vegetarian burrito was mostly rice. Although the food wasn’t very good, the pastries in the cooler looked delicious!

FriedChicken: This place, I don't know how they stay in business ha. Their price is very reasonable and probably consider cheap in 2023. $9.99 for large quesadilla. $15 carne asada. Huge portion, service is pretty good, probably better if you know Espanol. Food is authentic and pretty healthy depends on what you order.The only complain is they don't really refill your drink and they don't have charro beans, because I don't like refried beans.Weekend they open until 2am I think. Just crazy in 2023 this place exist.Parking can also be a problem in this location. It is hard to get in and out, especially if you drive a truck
