Nick Wcisel: Flooring turned to absolute trash about a month in. This was all new construction. They fixed it the first time it started to delaminate but when it was easy to see that half of my 3800sq foot house was going to need new flooring, they put the blame on my builder and the flooring installers. If you find yourself in a similar situation, hire your own inspector. Don't trust the 3rd party inspector they hire. Stay away from bishop and any hillcrest flooring.Update. I have had flooring installers out to look at it. The professional opinion is the floor plank is failing.

The customer service and level of their professionalism is top rate! 10/10! The gals in the office are always so positive and helpful. When I first started in our flooring department everything was so new to me- I would have been lost without their help. They are always so upbeat, positive and patient. Truly one of the greatest customer service experiences I've ever had. You won't be sorry working with this terrific group of people. Thank you for everything Bishop Distributing!
Susan Hekstra: Extremely disappointed with Bishop. I've had problems with my engineered wood floor since we installed it in 2018. They first stood behind the delamination complaint and replaced about 30 boards. When the same problem continued with more boards I was told it now was not covered by the manufacturer. They "say" they hire independent inspectors but even the inspector made false accusations about my care on the floor. Very, very unhappy with how they conduct business and they do not stand behind the customer but side with the manufacturer. Warranties are useless if you're the consumer.

Jennifer v: They have no respect for the residential neighborhood it is a part of. Inviting hundreds of people to an event when you only have lets say 50 parking spots or less is rude. Complaints have now been made to the city And police. They blocked all of our mailboxes and were rude and nasty when customers trying to block mailboxes and a few driveways were asked not to.

I walked out because of it. When the manager came out to see what was wrong and I explained it, he apologized but said they had decided that masks weren’t necessary if people were spaced out. That is not the CDC’s recommendation.It makes me wonder where else they make their own rules and what other corners they cut.

Alex McKeown: I have never given a bad review in my entire life but this is by far the worst company we have ever dealt with. We had them install three laminate counters in our brand new home. ALL of them produced giant bubbles about three months after they were installed. First I got a sincere call and apology from the owner and was told the "Experienced/Master Installer" would be out to fix this problem asap. Then after coming out and seeing them said that this WASN'T their fault and now is leaving us with this issue. If I could give them zero stars I would. Terrible service, and absolutely not standing behind their word. Save yourself a headache and never use these people.
Joyce Smith: Odd experience. I was hoping to get quotes for redoing kitchen, small bath and stairway with hardwood or marmoleum. The estimator was intent on selling engineered hardwood or vinyl and seemed irked at my request to get quotes for the materials I actually wanted. They do sell marmoleum, but apparently don't like to actually install that. Never got a quote, so total waste of time. Recommend Old to Gold for hardwood and Dehaan Flooring for linoleum (Marmorette, the armstrong brand of lino). Hope this saves someone time and aggravation.
Jane Yelvington: Verhey removed carpet from a stairway, hall and 3 bedrooms. They then installed hard surface flooring in these areas. Verhey was very helpful and responsive during the sales process as I wanted to match some flooring already in the home. Their installation crew was wonderful. They did a beautiful job! They also worked cleanly and left my home immaculate each day. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend this firm.
Grant DuBridge: Top of the line in quality carpet and service.
Judy Clowney: Verhey Carpet installed my beautiful Marmoleum floor. The installers did a very careful job and the floor looked great, but after a few months there was a problem with the tiles coming up at the seams. It wasn't terrible, but it was no longer perfect. The sales staff was very concerned and worked with the manufacturer and installer to determine what caused the problem and how to rectify it. The floor was completely replaced, including the sub-flooring, at no charge to me. At no time was anyone connected with Verhey anything but pleasant and professional. I highly recommend this company, for another firm might well have put a little extra glue on the bad spots and ignored my growing concern. My floor is now perfect.
Calvin Beeke: Purchased luxury vinyl tile for mud room, fireplace, bathroom. Rich was able to get the product in quickly and sourced locally. I have been extremely happy with it so far.

James Koops: We were referred to Verhey Carpets by a friend. The initial experience of shopping for the carpet was great. They let us take 15 samples from the store that was much bigger than the very small 1 in. by 1 inch samples you get from the big box stores. Quickly following our decision on the carpet was a quick (and free) measurement that took just 15 minutes. The big brand stores again charged us $25-$45 for the measurement. The Verhey quote beat both Home Depot and Lowes quotes that we had already obtained. We really liked the fact they were locally owned and a family oriented type of company. The install was great. Very professional and can't see any seams. I loved how quick it was from picking out the carpet to the install date. Verhey went the extra mile to accommodate a couple of items that the big box stores would have up charged. The final product is amazing. We will be raving about Verhey for years to come. I would encourage anyone to start at Verheys and know that you are in great hands!
