That is not the CDC’s recommendation.It makes me wonder where else they make their own rules and what other corners they cut.

Alex McKeown: I have never given a bad review in my entire life but this is by far the worst company we have ever dealt with. We had them install three laminate counters in our brand new home. ALL of them produced giant bubbles about three months after they were installed. First I got a sincere call and apology from the owner and was told the "Experienced/Master Installer" would be out to fix this problem asap. Then after coming out and seeing them said that this WASN'T their fault and now is leaving us with this issue. If I could give them zero stars I would. Terrible service, and absolutely not standing behind their word. Save yourself a headache and never use these people.

Joyce Smith: Odd experience. I was hoping to get quotes for redoing kitchen, small bath and stairway with hardwood or marmoleum. The estimator was intent on selling engineered hardwood or vinyl and seemed irked at my request to get quotes for the materials I actually wanted. They do sell marmoleum, but apparently don't like to actually install that. Never got a quote, so total waste of time. Recommend Old to Gold for hardwood and Dehaan Flooring for linoleum (Marmorette, the armstrong brand of lino). Hope this saves someone time and aggravation.

Jane Yelvington: Verhey removed carpet from a stairway, hall and 3 bedrooms. They then installed hard surface flooring in these areas. Verhey was very helpful and responsive during the sales process as I wanted to match some flooring already in the home. Their installation crew was wonderful. They did a beautiful job! They also worked cleanly and left my home immaculate each day. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend this firm.

Judy Clowney: Verhey Carpet installed my beautiful Marmoleum floor. The installers did a very careful job and the floor looked great, but after a few months there was a problem with the tiles coming up at the seams. It wasn't terrible, but it was no longer perfect. The sales staff was very concerned and worked with the manufacturer and installer to determine what caused the problem and how to rectify it. The floor was completely replaced, including the sub-flooring, at no charge to me. At no time was anyone connected with Verhey anything but pleasant and professional. I highly recommend this company, for another firm might well have put a little extra glue on the bad spots and ignored my growing concern. My floor is now perfect.

James Koops: We were referred to Verhey Carpets by a friend. The initial experience of shopping for the carpet was great. They let us take 15 samples from the store that was much bigger than the very small 1 in. by 1 inch samples you get from the big box stores. Quickly following our decision on the carpet was a quick (and free) measurement that took just 15 minutes. The big brand stores again charged us $25-$45 for the measurement. The Verhey quote beat both Home Depot and Lowes quotes that we had already obtained. We really liked the fact they were locally owned and a family oriented type of company. The install was great. Very professional and can't see any seams. I loved how quick it was from picking out the carpet to the install date. Verhey went the extra mile to accommodate a couple of items that the big box stores would have up charged. The final product is amazing. We will be raving about Verhey for years to come. I would encourage anyone to start at Verheys and know that you are in great hands!

I have bought carpet from them for several of my rental units, my office building and our church and have never been disappointed in the quality of their product or the professionalism of the sales staff and installers. David Plantinga: There were two different really frustrating things about our experience with Sullivan's. I'm trying to be generous and give them 2/5 stars, since they were helpful with picking out carpet in the store.1. We planned our entire move around the day they said they would install the carpet in our new house. This way, the carpet installers would have plenty of space to work, and we wouldn't have to move furniture in and out of rooms as they were ready to put the carpet in those rooms. The issue: Sullivan's made a scheduling mistake, which meant that only a small amount of the carpet was installed by our moving day. They did not compensate us in any way for this substantial inconvenience, even though we asked on multiple occasions for a discount.2. There was an installation error that they refused to fix, and again, they would not give us a discount or come to fix the error. I've attached pictures to the review. As soon as the carpet installers left our house, we noticed distinct changes in color from step to step on one of our staircases. I called Sullivan's weekly for about a month, asking for someone to fix it (or give us a discount), and they always said "we'll get back to you" and wouldn't do anything about it. Finally, after about 7 weeks of me calling, they sent someone out to look at it, who said "I don't know why the color changes like that" and diagnosed it as a lighting issue, claiming the carpet was installed correctly. The problem is that we're positive it isn't a lighting issue, and Sullivan's was not willing to listen. You can see the color differences in all different kinds of lighting, and the carpet clearly changes color from one step to the next.Needless to say, we won't be coming back to Sullivan's. It was a long, dragged-out, frustrating process, and left us with carpet that will never look quite right.

We went back and bought pur daughter and son-in-law new carpeting for their livingroom for under $200. They have many remnants and various sizes for just about anything you want. Long time family owned!! 5 stars!!

Kimmy Goodman: Salesman would rather eat and sit behind the desk than wait on you. They advertise cut and go flooring but no one is there to cut it. "If you can come back in an hour I can see if we can get it cut for you." They were out on a delivery. The place was dead, only one other customer in there and the lady couldn't even answer a quick question. I won't be returning ever.

If you want to purchase carpet, vinyl flooring, or some other floor covering, this is a place to have on you list of places to check out. From huge rolls of fresh carpet to very reasonably priced roll ends to area rugs, Sullivan's has something to fit your decor.

Larry Brandes: On 1/8 we purchased an 8 by 10 rug and all went well. Then the challenge of disposing of the heavy roll the carpet came on. I called the store to ask if they had a way of handling the corrugated roll. Was told that no only for installers. This was lousy customer service and this will be the first and last time we do business at Sullivans

Lone wolf Andcubs: If I could give this business 10 stars I would give them 11, let me tell you why. we have a beautiful pink area rug and we have five dogs, senior dogs. They have much difficulty making it outside. we had this rug for over a year and it became a bit too much for me to handle, it would just soak up the pee. so we sent it to hagopian. they came they picked it up. they helped me move the furniture. they did not complain about the smell. they took it away and a couple weeks later they brought it back Smelling 10 times better than the day that we got it. NO DOG SMELL AT ALL, completely gone!!!! I have a super sniffer so I would smell it if it had Any. it’s like we have a brand new rug.honestly I had expected them to call us and tell us that there was nothing they could do to save it . The delivery man carried up the stairs by himself and laid it out. needed it almost no help whatsoever if you’re looking for a place to send your beloved rug don’t take it anywhere else

No matter what the size, or the price of our rugs, the service and pristine results are second to none. Being residents of Austin, Texas for 30 years, we always shipped or brought our rugs to Hagopian when we visited northern Michigan in the summer. Everywhere I called couldn't fit me in for at least 8 weeks. Carpet Villa did everything they could to fit me in as soon as possible. Just two days later, on Memorial Day, an employee volunteered to work over the holiday to remove the old carpet so that they could fit in the carpet install the following Wednesday in between jobs. I'm so grateful for their willingness to work with me so that I could have the carpet replaced right away. Not only that but the carpet is beautiful and they did an excellent job! Russell Fox: It all started with the price quote. When the sales guy came over he told me that the installers usually carry transition strips on their vans. The price was great and the carpet was great. The installer came and got the carpet in and told me he would come back later that day to finish. He never came back so I called the store and told them what happened. They got ahold of the installer and he said he called me which never happened. The salesman called me and asked what needed to get done in order to get paid. I told him that a vent hole was not cut, the stairway was not finished, and one of the rooms did not get the transition strip put in. He told me that the transitions were not quoted. He said he would have the installer come back and fix the vent hole. Finally after a week the installer came back cut the vent hole and told me he had to go to his shop and get a transition strip. He never came back. I decided to hire someone else to finish. I do not want Carpet Villa to come back.

I started to ask him about colors and patterns, and he walked right past me to wait on someone who came in AFTER we did!The next day my husband was selecting samples to bring home, and Luke SHUT THE LIGHTS OFF! In fairness, it was 5:00, but to shut lights off on a customer?Customer service here is a JOKE. Rude salespeople. We went elsewhere for our carpet.

Verhey allowed me to take lots of swatches of different sizes and styles home, so I could decide exactly what I wanted. They were sensitive about helping me stay within my budget. They let me know when my carpet was back-ordered, but even then, it was completed in a timely way. I LOVE the way it looks. From beginning to end, Verhey was extremely professional. And I'd far rather use a long-established local carpet store than a "big box" one.

After about 20 mins, they painted a perfect picture of what my kitchen is suppose to look like! As a person that is really undeceive, they helped guide me to make a good decision.
