City Chapel: what do users think?
trish dagle: Great people, lovely church. Small and young members with children.
Connor Bolthouse: Great people. They have a sincere love for God and our neighbors.
Madeline Heethuis: We didn’t end up being able to find parking in time and therefore we were late. Since we were late we had no clue where to go. Be aware your guests may be coming in a little late so keep your volunteers out to help out. We ended up going home because we were lost and uncomfortable.
Karen Reece: I enjoyed the service at the City Chapel. It was a place that everyone felt welcome. A friendly group of fellowship and I plan on visiting again and again. I felt the love and the support of this church. I like the location and kid and family friendly. It's a different concept that will work well in Grand Rapids.

Calvary Chapel Riverside: what do users think?
john dean: The worship is God centered, the teaching is straight up meat and potatoes, actual Bible teaching and not just a bunch of feel good fluff that doesn't help change anybody but has real life application! The kids learn so much back in children's ministry and the kids ministry oversight and teachers are truly amazing!
John Ayers: Clear teaching of God's word verse by verse and great fellowship.
Debbie Kaminski: My son and I moved here from Las Vegas. Coming from a Calvary Church, we wanted to stay with the the full council of God word. This Calvary Church, Riverside was the closest. We were very happy with pastor Tom teaching and felt welcomed like family. There was no need to look further, God's blessings and peace were in our hearts
John Mansueto: Great place to fellowship and worship Jesus Christ!!!
Benito Baez: Enjoy the teaching of GOD's word Verse by Verse.
Seth Ruse: They teach the Bible verse by verse.

New Chapel: what do users think?
kathleen whipple: Love Pastors Joe and Brian!
John Wiese: The Gospel Truth is having a relationship with God by accepting the work of the cross. Jesus died to save us from our sins.
Tricia Bouwman: Pastor Joe is a wonderful pastor! If you want the best church experience, that's the place to go! The message lifts you, while pastor Joe makes you laugh, learn, and lean on the family. So many families help out there. When they say "Welcome home!" when you walk in, they mean it!
Tim O'Malley: I was first saved in an Assembly of God church and was a little put off by the slick and modern church and web sight. It seemed like just another "shopping mall church". However I thought the preaching was right on. The truth about tithing was shared without hesitation. We r gonna go back and have high hopes that this will b our new church home.
Kami Loucks: We found our home at New Chapel. Never have I entered a friendlier church, where people truly care to know your name and invite you in. The Pastors are personable and REAL with relatable messages week after week. Our family ranges from 10 - 47 years old and everyone loves going to church. Even my parents and aunt and uncle have joined us at New Chapel and love calling it home.So grateful the Lord lead is to this incredible church. It’s filled with joy, love and TRUTH!
Tamara Smith: My husband & I found New chapel a few years ago. We felt welcomed immediately. Pastor Joe & pastor Brian are passionate about sharing the good news of God's love & the true freedom we have in Christ Jesus.
Ron Kramer: My kids and grandkids go there. We went once to see our grandson water Baptised. We loved our long time home (reformed based) church but this chuch was spirit filled. The people are ALL REAL, all filled with Jesus in their hearts. After a couple more visits we whole heartedly left our long time church we really loved for this one. The Pastor is on fire and amazing. AND SO FUNNY. I've never seen a friendler church. I've learned all sorts of names in 6 weeks and they all know mine. I can't recommend it enough. I've spent more time on on one with Pastor Joe than all the years at my previous two churches.COME SEE! I have learned so much that I wanted to be Baptised AGAIN. There were 80 people there at a nearby lake as about 18 people were Baptised that afternoon.
Cristian Venta: my First times checking this place out it was great service!
Jeffery Crosby: Pastor and associate pastor are awesome. Eveyone there very friendly. Would highly recommend.
Emily Pieri: We have been going to New Chapel since 2018 when we relocated our family back to the Grand Rapids area. We did a lot of church shopping then, and New Chapel was the only church that made us feel like "HOME". Pastor Joe preaches real, transparent, and honest messages & The community here is exactly what we were searching for. The children's ministry was the only place where my daughter, who was 2 at the time, wouldn't scream cry as we dropped her off for church. She's now 5 and she has learned so much from Sunday school & still LOVES it. In 2020 when so many churches closed their doors and pulled back, New Chapel found a way to still reach people by preaching on the roof of the church. I'm so thankful we found New Chapel & I love seeing the journey of growth the church is on.
michael mooney: Pastor joe is the greatest.. so humble. So available.. Hard to talk to any senior pastor these days.Great role model for me through my own tough times..
Country By Terrilyn: This my home church. Absolutely love this place. This church saved my life!
Karah Johnson: I’ve done a lot of “church shopping” and New Chapel has got to be the friendliest church in Grand Rapids! The people are SO welcoming and loving, and the messages are inspiring and real!Give it a try - I’m really glad I did. :-)
Jill Postema: Loved the band and the songs selected. The preaching is Bible based and the sermons are well crafted. The church is small and the people are friendly.
Mike Schregardus: Not ur ordinary church, and I like that
Steven Dennis: I was shocked at how small this church was when I walked in. The pics make it look much bigger. I was told where to sit by an usher. Very uncomfortable. Why can't I sit where I want? I also find it very odd that you can only see the good reviews of this church. Why are you trying to hide? You are a church. Own up to your imperfections. Stop trying to hide them.
Doug Turner: I ordered a vanilla chain latte for my wife and she said it was great.
theAfrican Baby: Love that place
#mybuddyandme: I had a great first time experience here this morning! Thanks, Brian for your warm welcome and thank you Pastor Joe for your compassionate exhortation.
Kristy Moroski: AMAZING Church !Welcomed With Opened Arms !! And Kids Love It Also !!
Hannah Wright: Great church to go to and so much fun and worshiping. You get free child care and they even have a cafe! Very welcoming people and the sermons are very touching and helpful!

Christ Chapel: what do users think?
Mark Kotlarczyk: Pretty cool facility. 2/3 stage in the round, which is always a sound issue it seems.
Caleb Clark: The architecture of the building is fabulous, and the setting, seating, and service we had there was absolutely phenomenal! Loved it and I want to go back!
Becky Lemmen: Beautiful chapel
Theresa Anderson Varney: Beautiful! Pilgrim was powerful can't wait to see it again
Melissa Dykman: Beautiful little chapel
Kathy Vander Stel: Experienced the musical "Pilgrim" and it was so well done. Emotional, thought provoking.
Rebecca VanLaan: Beautiful facility. Great seats everywhere
Bob Misialek: Awesome building for learning and worship!
Jim Comden: Beautiful facility. Great atmosphere for worshipping.
Teressa Bierenga: Beautiful.
Mariann Gonsior: Pretty Amazing! I love the stain glass windows and the names of God written around the wood edging between the walls and the ceiling. A lovely facility. The praise & worship done by the worship team from the Resurrection Church was amazing! Annie Downs the speaker was fun & very encouraging! 🤩 🙌
Joel Mitchell: Cool auditorium with great access, visibility, comfortable seats, and great sound.
chris hark: A great Christian college encompassing the love of Christ. So if you don't want to throw your children out to the dogs, meaning state colleges. Send them here.
Debby Forbes: Beautiful chapel on campus. Sitting in round made it difficult to see speakers face, but large screen projectors helped.
Colleen Christie: Great venue! Not a bad seat in the place. The staff and volunteers at Cornerstone do an excellent job of truly serving their customers. They are helpful with every detail. I highly recommend hosting an event here.
Aaron Simmons: Not a bad seat in the house. I'm 40 years old (likely too young to say this) but man it was nice to see a pipe organ on the chalice. Beautiful sanctuary, saw Michael Jr. there, would love to go back for an chapel service or Sunday Morning.
Trish Knaut: This is my Alma Mater and the Lord is in His House!
Elizabeth Gordon: Great gospel music.
lori johnson: Beautiful place to worship
Phil: I had fun at the Jordan Feliz concert
Susan Guerra: Heard Tim Keller speak for City to City

East Church: what do users think?
Danielle Smith: This 1 star rating is for the food pantry. First time I've ever been turned away from a church food pantry. I found this pantry listed on Feed America and it was only 3 miles from my house. When I got there I found out you have to phone ahead for an appointment, which it doesn't indicate on line. I was allowrd to go in and fill out an intake form. Once the lady looked at the paper she said she couldn't help me because I live too far away. Very unChristain like in my opinion. It's hard enough to ask for help during difficult times but to be turned away because I live 3 miles away is just a slap in the face. They should not be listed on the Feed America site if they are turning people away.
Linda Fuzi: If you are looking to make a change and have teens, the youth director here is phenomenal! She gets the kids involved in community relations, events, mission trips, retreats and according to my 2 teens they have really awesome thought provoking discussions as a group! The church as a whole is friendly, welcoming and a beautiful place to find your peace. The choir is always a highlight to listen when we are there.
Becky Turner: They are very kind to community organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous as far as letting us meet there.
Kelsey Rezmer: My fiancée and I were looking for a church to go to where we would feel accepted and like a true part of the congregation. Friends invited us to this church and we have been attending for for about 1 1/2 years, and officially joined this past summer. We were immediately welcomed, and when we came back a second time, everyone remembered us. We have quickly made friends and friends-who-are-Family in the congregation. The facility is beautiful, the people are friendly, and truly follow Christ’s message. Their youth program is excellent and we can’t wait for our daughter to grow old enough to attend youth group :)

Calvin Chapel: what do users think?
Louis Cleare: A beautiful and acoustically great space!
Lindsy Harness: Great worship/chapel services. One of my favorite buildings on campus.
Zach R: Maximum Jesus was achieved
Mason Witte: Great worship experience.
Austin Ravioli: we shall love calvin, we shall praise calvin, we will die for calvin, and we will not let calvin down
Eddie Johns: We attended a wedding ceremony here and it was beautiful. The circular set up really makes for a little bit different experience especially for worship. It was very easy to park in one of the main lights and walk to the chapel right there on campus.
Stephen Ng: This is perhaps the most octagonal chapel I have had the pleasure of entering. It has a nice, high exterior peak, and flowing banners on the inside which hang from up high. One can't always be looking up, however. Once grounded, you will find a plethora of seats in which to sit, both nearer to the stage and farther back. If you are opposed to seats, you will also find some very convenient aisles in which to stand, or even a back wall to lean against. This place really has it all.
