My parents were worried about the cost of both items but luckily a physical therapist recommended Renew Mobility. The process to apply was super easy and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I initially contacted Renew Mobility via email and received a response right away. From the moment I contacted Renew mobility and picked up the items, was within 24 hours. The items we received are in great condition and the wheelchair even came with a pressure relieving air cushion, which my dad loves. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!!!

They have come thru time and time again with equipment to help at least temporarily until funding is gained or permanently if not. My daughter has been involved with ACT for almost a year and looks forward to her drumming class every week!

Carissa Beadling: This place is such an amazing spot! They truly give a safe place to let out your creativity with music and art. With the help of professional artists they offer a variety of classes from drumming, painting, gardening, ect! Grand Rapids is so lucky to have this place!

Vincent Frank: ACT is a great place for people with and without disabilities to be involved with the arts. I interned here and it was a great experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable in their respective subject areas. ACT really makes a difference in the GR community.

Dawn Gable: Agency worked closely with us for my Mom up until the time she passed. Now they are working closely with us for my sister with ovarian cancer. The care managers are kind, caring and a wealth of information. We take the time to communicate regularly. This enables them to give us the best care possible.

Aaron Priest: Will not go through them again. They have not been helpful. I thought they were supposed to be helpful with getting Medicaid but pretty much all they do is send proofs into the case worker that you send them after that you’re on your own with the DHS paperwork. When what’s the point of having them help with Medicaid if they can’t help you with the paperwork you need to fill out for DHS to get Medicaid. Also every time we spoke they were short and rude on the phone, they don’t listen to what you have to say about your situation and only hear what they want to hear. Unfortunately they have not been as helpful as we thought with getting my grandma Medicaid and it’s quite upsetting because they my family needs help either getting my grandma into a skilled nursing home or nurses to help come in and help with my grandma who has dementia. This is the first time my family as ever experienced a ill family member with memory loss. I have a 1 year old and I’m in school and my mom just had brain surgery back in December and they have just gave us a hard time. My grandma needs 24/7 care, my mom and I are the main care givers for her so this has been really tough on us. Also because we have had issues getting all the correct proofs because well we have lives, we are the main care takers, and this has just been a all over struggle for us. All we want is the help we need to get the support my family needs to manage care for my grandma with dementia. I can go on and on, but to sum this up we are very upset with area on aging and I personally will not refer any to this agency after this experience.
