Robert Dodge: The most unprofessional place ever. Lazy, useless, $h!theads. The tenant has moved into my property, and I’m just trying to get paid. It’s difficult trying to deal with incompetence! They can’t even answer a question, and hang up on people like a 2yr old. If you want to work for a place where you can be wrong more than a weatherman, and still have a job, this is the place for you.

The workers are very rude.. they hang up in your face and unprofessional. I’ve been calling since July about a mishap on their behalf and absolutely no one has contacted me back or sent me a letter.

Layla: This is the most unprofessional. Ignorant, degrading and condescending place EVER! All of the people who work there are rude. I've been hung up on. Yelled at and waved off like I was a dog. They don't answer questions about anything you ask. And they rush you off the phone whenever you call. How can you be a place that HELPS people who are struggling and be rude to them?! I hate that I have to go to them for help because they really make you feel like you are less than nothing. There's one person who works there named Kelly and she's BEYOND rude and ignorant. She's extremely ignorant. But just because a person is struggling at one point in their life and you aren't AT THE MOMENT. Doesn't mean you won't be in their position sooner or later. Just remember, Karma is real and the people you are misusing and looking down on may be the person you have to go to one day for help... They really need to send a undercover person there who's the head person in charge so they can see how they treat people. Wish I could give this place a negative rating.... It's sad, smh

Aveon: My rent has not been paid in 3 months because they lost my paperwork that I dropped off myself last year in the summer now it’s 2022 in the spring and I have to move because they will not do their job I don’t have anywhere to go and I should not be getting put out of my home I have never missed a deadline with them

john dotts: Had no issues for 9 years until recently. My wonderful worker retired. Ever since then I have been given new workers so frequently that I currently don't know who it is. I have called 25 times since December 14, 2021. I am being harassed by my current landlord. I've been trying to call for assistance but have not got any response at all. I leave my name address and phone number with zero response. I am completely lost and can not fix the issue. I'm deeply concerned about my housing. 😢

I feel like the processing of my initial paperwork was prompt and the issuance of my voucher seemed reasonable, time wise... my coordinator assisted with finding a place before my expiration date and it was pretty quick securing the place , all things considered. my annual renewal was a bit of an ordeal-a few different workers assigned may have been the reason for that confusion, but overall i can appreciate this place for what it is...they helped me.

Apartment complex staff they’re also Negligent and it’s very disgusting and they’re extremely irresponsible with documents and sending correct information. Nobody answers phones or return messages at either location. I’am contacting Hud as well as legal aid because this is ridiculous!!!

Ebonie Andrews: I’ve been assisting a young lady for over two years now. God knows this organization is awful to the Grand Rapids community. This young lady was sent the approved section 8 paperwork, stating she has a voucher and to complete the paperwork. She did and I took her to drop put off. I’ve witness her call and email multiple, to several, to a few, to over 6 times a week. To avail does she get a call or email. It’s now gone pass the time period for the voucher. All these sad google reviews and yet the staff are still employed there. It’s pathetic how this company is allowed to dismiss the citizens of Grand Rapids in need of this service.

SMILEY!: I Just Took Some Mail Over To Drop OFF for a Caseworker but It Was DARK In Their OFFICE & NOBODY Was WORKING❗

Just Me: Some of the employees at this organization are selective with whom they assist and show preferential treatment to certain people. I was repeatedly told in 2019 that in order to receive homeless assistance that I would have to get a referral from the Salvation Army. It also states this same information when calls are placed to Community Rebuilders. I find this odd given the fact that 2 close family members of mine were able to go directly to this organization when they were homeless and no referral from the Salvation Army was required.When I was homeless in 2019 and living in Mel Trotter Ministries Emergency Shelter I had referred a mother and daughter to Community Rebuilders and they were assisted on the same day. They were able to leave the shelter to go to Community Rebuilders Housing Connection Center, assigned to a case manager, and got help with an apartment.If some people are assisted without being required to get a referral from the Salvation Army then it should be that way for everyone who seeks help. I was lied to repeatedly and told I would have to go through the Salvation Army first. I was also told no programs or beds were available at HCC. What they failed to realize was that 2 of my family members were at HCC; 1 who lived there and another who worked there who told me real information. I deserved to receive homeless assistance as well and will be pursuing the matter further.If exceptions are made for some then it needs to be that way for all. Do better.

CHANEL MICHELLE: If your looking for help asap don't bother calling!! I called them and made appointment more than once they told me the same thing nothing available and try having strangers watch my kids that's nice way to help ... I'm 22 homeless mother with 2 kids and I don't drive. I felt hopeless and very disappointed.

I could do without the loud quacks coming from Tanner’s room but that’s the price you pay for living next to the Quack House!!Quite the dynamic staff. Three nurses in training, one barber, one PT, one car guy, and this nice blonde surfer guy who just sets the vibe from the time you walk through the door! They even have some helpful road signs if you are confused on parking☺️

Caleb Kortman: The quack house is an under the radar getaway in the heart of the suburbs of the outskirts of Grand Rapids. Has a very homey vibe and a very welcoming and accommodating staff. Honestly a gorgeous gem that any and everyone should experience

Brady Mills: I came to this housing society completely broken... thanks to the staff at the Quackhouse I was able to pick my life up. Now I grin at least once a day. Thanks, Quackhouse, for changing my life!
