Carrie Nelson: I love Dollar Tree. They have tons of great products at remarkably low prices. They have raised their prices by 25 cents. It's still a bargain. The cleaning products work as well if not better than the leading brand. I have saved a lot of money on shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, and cleaning products. Not to mention they have a huge selection of other house hold needs. If you want to save a buck I suggest swallowing your pride and checking this place out you won't regret it!!!

Ruth Gunneson-Poling: Had no choice but highlight one star just so I can leave my review. I wouldn't give any stars. First and last time going to the Dollar Tree on 1006- S. Division, Grand Rapids MI Big pile of rotting food and garbage right next to the entrance. I'm sending the pictures I took of it to corporate. The parking lot and sidewalk are filthy and full of trash. People are not particularly friendly either. Never again.
Jonathan Lucas: I was walking up to the entrance ten minutes before closing time. An employee locked the door in front of me like I wasn't there. Only a few seconds later a customer inside of the store tried to leave and couldn't, so the employee had to come back to let them out. This time they acknowledged me, at least, and shouted "We're closed!" through the glass door. That same door had a message printed on it: "This door to remain unlocked during business hours". Maybe if people had the good sense to not lock-in their customers just to get out of work a few minutes early then we wouldn't need as many signs like that.

Whitney Danielle: This is my favorite location to stop. The employees are friendly and efficient on register, and the store is well-organized and restocked as needed. I tend to find some really cool and unique "gems" here, including a rare Harry Potter Fantastic Beasts collectible movie book, vegetarian meal replacements, Cold Brew coffee, amazing and quality crafting supplies, decor, etc. They also have a lot of healthy and gluten free snack options!

Izudin Milanovic: The biggest Dollar Tree Store in Grand Rapids I have ever seen. I was really impressed to see the interior of this Dollar Tree. They have three thirds of the shelves in each aisle which actually makes this Dollar Tree Store as a biggest Store in Grand Rapids area.

Sean Sheldon: I was surprised to find that the entire freezer section of the store was empty. As a matter of fact, there isn’t a single thing left. Upon browsing the remainder of the store, I noticed that there were many empty shelves and items that were out of stock. Not to mention some of the cashiers were rude.
Sandy Krupp-Nguyen: Updated review:It’s been a couple years since my first visit to this store and the last couple of visit have been no where as good as when they first opened. The store was a mess each of the last visits, empty shelves, unpacked boxes all over, the staff didn’t smile and were not very friendly like the first visit. Not to mention twice my car was side swiped “while parked”. I even parked farther from away with no other cars around in the hopes that my car would get side swiped again and it did. It look like it was done on purpose. I will not go to that store ever again and tell everyone to avoid that location. I’ll drive 20 minutes to a location that is better run, has friendly and polite staff and my car has never been hit at the other locations.The Dollar Tree store located at 44th st and Breton in Kentwood MI. is always clean and organized. It is usually fully stocked but today 5/1/21, many of the shelves were half or almost empty. They only had one register open at first but opened a second one when the line of people waiting to check out reached aproximately 15. I have always recieved good service and the staff has been polite and friendly. Over all it is a nice store.

Dee B: This store is really nice. I enjoy shopping it all the way up till I get to the register. At that point the stars start to fall. The cashiers are not friendly. They do not greet you when you place items on the belt and they can barley get out a thank you at the end of your payment. They wear earbuds which I wouldn’t mind if they were halfway decent to the customers. The store is very clean and organized which I appreciate and it’s the reason I gave 3 stars.

I am going to boycott the store and ask all REAL Americans to so the same. Bring back the HUMAN factor. If not, Target is across the street on Alpine Avenue in Walker. I came in late one Sunday night because I needed hydrogen peroxide for my dog that got into some chocolate (safely induces vomiting!). An employee named Angela went above and beyond by searching in the back for some when it was out of stock on the shelves. She quickly came running back with a case of it and wished me luck with my dog. Absolutely impeccable custoemr service and I am so grateful that she went the second mile for me!P.S- my dog is perfectly happy and healthy!

I picked up some cute Christmas glasses and went through their assortment of stockings as well. Not the greatest or cleanest store but average.

Jakob Jensen: The manager and the employee had nothing nice to say to me coming in and buying merchandise. They will openly tell you they don't want you in there for business as it was still more than 10 minutes before close and they make announcements over the speaker that they close while I am the only customer because they say "we can't have you hanging around forever." I purchased my soap and bottle of pop still 10 minutes before close but I won't be coming back for anything again.

This Dollar Tree also has a nice, patient, and kind staff who are there to help customers to find something, show them where the item is located, and to check them at the end of their shopping.

4boymomjess GR: Went to this store yesterday and was ready to check out. The man who came up to help, and who appeared to be the only employee in the store, was maskless. I asked why the employee wasn’t wearing a mask & he said he had a doctor’s note. I call BS! He wasn’t toting around an oxygen tank, wasn’t super-morbidly obese and even if he did have a condition, the LEAST he could have done was wear a face shield. Even though that does Jack to protect me or him, at least that would have told me that maaaaaybe he was a decent human trying to play nicely with others. I didn’t even see any plexiglass or anything between you & the person right in front of your face checking you out, so no thanks! I’m shocked the manager and/or owner of the store wouldn’t make some sort of mitigation strategy a priority, knowing they had an employee going rogue. It was interesting that this man could “medically tolerate” pushing around carts full of stock items(that he was spewing all his respiratory drops onto), & could restock shelves & handle walking around & operating the store by himself, but a scrap of fabric over his inconsiderate pie hole would be the thing to take him down. Not buying it & not shopping at this location again! My only comfort is that this liar had to put back the 20 plus items I had collected in my cart. Would have bought them & taken them with me if he weren’t such a jerk!

Sandy Krupp-Nguyen: I was at the 28th St. SE Kentwood MI. location by Sam's Club. This store has always been clean, organized and well stocked every time I go there. The manager is friendly, greeting customers and asking if they need help finding anything. There is more than enough parking (handicapped and standard). The restroom was clean and stocked. This one of my favorite Doklar Tree stores.

Jim Jones: The prices are higher than they were, 1.25 not 1.00, but they also seem to have some higher quality products and more selection. The workers all seem to be carrying and helpful.

Deb Cottle: This Dollar Tree is not as big as some, but they have a decent selection of items, at least the basics. Sometimes they are out of items, but that's the same with other stores too. Friendly staff available to help. It's the one closest to me so I go here instead of the bigger one at Breton and 44th when I'm crunched for time. Always spend more than I planned because they have pretty good stuff there for the price (tho I liked it better when items were actually $1 compared to $1.25, but oh well...everything is going up in price, especially after Covid. 😕. Good store tho!

Derick Bailey: Kind of stinks that inflation has even affected the dollar store!
N/A N/A: Lady with short grey hair, I don't know if she is a manager or not but! I was waiting in line and she hopped onto a register to help clear the long line, she said out loud "next in line" so I walked over because I was next in line. Then she has the audacity to ask me "were you next in line? " And I said "yes" because I was. That to me is very rude and unprofessional, made me very uncomfortable. I DO NOT CARE if that is dollar tree or McDonald's, doesn't matter, be more professional. She could clearly see I was next in line. She was out of line for even ask that. I will not be returning to that location. And I will be telling others to watch out for her in general. Not cool 👎
