All Star Driver Education - East Grand Rapids Community Center: what do users think?
cool snail: great instructors and helpful service from austin! thanks so much!
Deborah Salima: Highly recommend
Lakshan Pai: Mr. Brown is the ideal driving ed instructor. Calm, patient, and firm in his teaching while on the road, and a generally fun teacher in the classroom. Had a great time in his class.
Gerson Velazquez: I loved the class and the opportunity to learn how to drive the safest way, the all star way! I really loved the way that the instructor Mr.Brown was really patient with students in our drives, he made me feel safe and ready when it was time to get behind the wheel. The way he taught the class was fun, interactive, and straight to the point. I highly recommend it!!
Hawkeye Tri: Absolutely loved the instructor but didn’t like the program, he really made the experience and Mr Brown would be the only reason I would take this course again.
Motorcross69: I had a great instructor and he was very helpful with teaching
Soup Man: Mr trizzy bass did great teaching us
Marni Holtzman Vyn: Dorinda restored my faith in All Star Driving. She was very helpful in getting my son registered for the Segment 2 session.
Ellen Schendel: Positive:CommunicationDorinda was extremely helpful in getting us registered w/ all documents in place.
Baxter Baas: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value“It was groovy like a drive in movie!”(Snoop Dog)
Ellen Mundell: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMr. brown knows what he’s doing and I feel like I learned a lot from this class. I feel a lot more comfortable driving now and i feel like i’m much better of a driver. This is a good program!
Harrison Bigler: Positive:QualityLearned a lot
Margaret Reszka: good job, taught well, understood a lot more about driving when on the road and in class
Anna Kelsch: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThis class helped me learn about driving while having fun. This allowed me to understand more about driving and laws about driving.
Amelia Walchak: Positive:CommunicationThis class was very comprehensive and i love how interactive it is. Mr.Brown has helped me understand driving and was always very understanding and helpful on the road.
Corbin DeVilbiss: Mr Brown is a great classroom instructor. Everything you learn in class is helpful for when you begin to drive on the roads. Mr Otto has made me very comfortable on the roads and parallel parking is easy. Edit: I am now being spammed by car insurance emails after giving allstar my email address. I still think the instructors in East are great, but the company is pretty rough.
Lynshae Camp: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismThis place is ridiculous! There is absolutely no way to reach anyone! I have been calling and emailing for a week straight and have not been able to reach anyone! This is so unprofessional and I am irate. Where's the customer service. You're collecting hundreds of dollars from people who can't even get communication from you!
Eliza Bott: I enjoyed classroom time, drive times, and the instructor, but there were a few things that could have been better. There was little to no social distancing, but everyone was required to wear masks the whole time in the classroom and on the road. The communication was limited before hand which was frustrating at times. Overall I learned a lot and would recommend AllStar East Grand Rapids.
Alexis Griffiths: Mr. Brown is an amazing teacher he is calm and patient with studants I learned so much! He wants his students to pass and works to help them achieve that.
Mackenzie Munguia: Positive:Professionalism
Arianna Torres: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI loved this class! I learned so much and every one in our class passed, that just goes to show how well Mr. Brown teaches and just how good they prepare us for the test. I feel good about driving and I feel like I know what I need to know to drive.

Century Driving School of Wyoming: what do users think?
SwoleFish: Good luck trying to make an appointment. You can call for hours and they won't pick up the phone only putting you on hold for two minutes and then telling you to leave a voicemail. Awful service.
Pranali Sonawane: Hi there! I'm writing to share my experience with driving with Century Driving Group and my instructor Michael Roskamp (Mike). Mike is an incredibly helpful and friendly instructor, especially for someone like me who is an international student and needs to become more familiar with the rules and regulations in the USA.Unfortunately, I ran through a no-turn on a red sign during my first driving test and failed. However, for my second road test, Mike emphasized the importance of paying attention to signboards and helped me see them before I reached them. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, I passed my second driving test! I highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a great driving instructor. He is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his students' success. Thank you, Mike, for all your help!
samuel motari: I highly recommend Mike Roskamp for the great work that he’s doing as a mentor. I left century being a better driver based on the lessons that I had with Mike. He’s engaging, straightforward and realistic.
Chandler Thomas: I had an appointment with Wade Trombley, at the Centerpointe Mall location on March 20th, from 6:15 PM to 7:00 PM. I showed up on time at 6:11 PM and found the shed, which said the examiner was out on a road test already and to please wait, so I did. Fast forward an hour and some change, it is now 7:30 and I have seen no sign of the instructor. I tried to call the number on the website, with no luck because they were closed. To pay $80 in advance, just to not even take the test is very frustrating. I’ve reached out via email, as well as the contact tab on the website, and will be placing several calls tomorrow, hoping to either get a refund or reschedule with a different instructor. Overall, not very professional, because had I been over an hour late I doubt I’d be seeing any of my money back.
Joseria Aharon: I just took my road test with kaithlyn and I passed this is my second time and I was so nervous cz I failed the first and some of the reviews were making me worrisome..but I passed..I made some mistakes when we were in the road but she was nice and sweet, she understood I was nervous, she tried to make me feel comfortable..one good thing about their cars is the backed up camera it helped a lot…kaithlyn was an awesome tester..
0 00000: My instructor gave me false info before the test when I asked for clarification on the test guidelines. Then failed me for two things that I had wondered about. DONT GO HERE, went to one of the other two places, they at least have some human decency
Cecilia Ramirez: Literally the worst experience. Showed up for my road test greeted the instructor and asked him how he was and he completely ignored me and was extremely rude. Instructions were very unclear and when I asked for clarification he would get mad. Passed the parking part and proceeded to driving on the road, whole ride he was rude and claimed I didn’t do so many things that I most certainly did. Failed me pretty much for no reason and was definitely a waste of time and money. 100% DONT RECOMMEND
Gabriel H: Instructor was unclear when you tell someone to back in that's what they are going to do, next time just tell your testers the next step is parallel parking that explains it well. Pretty frustrated with the lack of instruction. Some people do not read maps well.
abby g: I was very unlucky to get Mark as my instructor. It was made clear to me that he did not want to be there and he was not there to help. Don't expect him to explain how to do the test, instructions were vague. If he had explained the test or what to do easy pass but he failed to say more then "stop at that line" "then back up there" "then park there" that was all of his contributions
fansss else: The instructor gives out false info, the test is simple not legal. Mark was the tester and has a terrible background according to the reviews. They give you a document that is missing important information and ignore state guidelines that say you must read out certain info verbatim from the book. Seems like they are out to take your money and mislead you.
ahmija goodman: Honestly I dont understand the negative reviews. My instructor was Mark and reading these reviews before hand madd me extremely nervous and regretting my decision. But upon arrival he very nice and welcoming when explaining. I was very nervous and even messed up and shed a few tears and he allowed me to restart without penalty multiple times and helped me calm my nerves he was very nice I don't understand the mean reviews 👍🏾👍🏾
Nate Mitchell: Well I took my on Road Drivers Skills Test today with Mark Molewyk he was very nice and very helpful… I was so nervous and Mr.Mark seen it so before he even allowed me to put the car in drive he told me to take a deep breath and loosen up cause I had already passed the cone part and that I was gonna pass the road part cause he had a lot of faith in me and that I can only pass the test if I believed in myself…
L S (nayafin): I 100% recommend Mike Roskamp for an instructor. My daughter passed Segment 1 and received her permit. After that however, it was clear she didn't have a lot of confidence on the road. In addition, I unfortunately had way too much anxiety driving with her, which didn't do her any favors either. Fast forward several months without dealing with it and kind of putting it on the back burner, I realized we needed help. We scheduled several one-on-one sessions with Mike, and wow! What a difference! She improved greatly starting day 1! My daughter will soon be taking Segment 2 and scheduling her road test once her full hours are complete. Before, this seemed like the most daunting thing ever, but after her sessions with Mike, it is so much smoother sailing. She is very confident now, and doing the highways, downtown, busy roads, and all types of parking. If you have a new driver and need some extra help, I can't recommend Mike enough.
Brittney Dewolf: Did my road test today and passed the first time the instructor was very sweet and helpful has I was very nervous he made me feel very comfortable 😊
James Torpey: Was just cut off but one of the century vehicles only a middle aged man driving. Wouldn't let people in the zipper pattern. At a construction zone then constant brake checking and not following the flow of traffic though the work zone. If this is how they drive how are they teaching our kids to drive.
Sara Blackwood Sowe: Easy to schedule, great instructors, many locations and great customer service!
Andie Abbie: Took my lessons with Michael Roskamp, he was a great instructor, I felt comfortable driving with him. He helped me prepare for my road test ,passed the first time. I will definitely recommend him to other people.
Jake Harris: I'm not sure what these one star people are on. I was a little nervous because I booked and paid for my test before I read the reviews. Reviews had me second guessing. I am glad I did not listen to them. I think it's just angry people trying to get back because they failed. If they failed they should probably not be on the road. Mark is not the friendliest acting person but he does not judge you based on appearance, he does not dislike you, he has not determined you failed before you start your test. All that is hogwash. His only job is to determine and give his opinion on whether you're safe to be out on the public roads without killing yourself or killing somebody else. Plain and simple. It is nothing personal. These people have been doing this a long long time and I sure they know quite a bit more than the people thinking they know better than everyone else. Mark is a very straightforward person and some people cannot handle that. You're not going to get better test results by showing up with a smile, cracking jokes and trying to be super friendly. It does not work like that. It makes me feel a little bit safer out on the road knowing these people are evaluating the new drivers that are going to be out there amongst us and trying to keep the motoring public safe. I would recommend this business to anyone
Aimerance Mbabazi: At first everything was fine and I was on time and I had specific picked a lady instructor to feel more comfortable but instead as soon I met Denise I could feel her staring like she was disgusted with me. She was very passive aggressive and told me to not drive too close to the yellow but then failed me for driving too close to the cars parked on the street even though I didn’t hit any. What I really didn’t get is why she grabbed the steering wheel at least like 2 times while I was driving then had the nerve to tell me about staying in my lane. And at the end I was still being really patient with her while trying so hard not to cry so am asking questions about my driving and after the third question she’s like I have another people waiting on you so you can find all that on our website like
Chris Taylor: September 14th, 2022 ....and I have to agree ....this place on 28th and Clyde park ,Wyoming MICHIGAN is a joke...my son can drive I literally let this young man drive me around....and they fail him..what a joke ...I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE!!!...he worked hard 💪🏽 for the money for this test...just to be failed in 8 minutes...I'd give you guys a negative 10 if I could 😉...
David Meeuwsen: Great place too learn and take Auto. Road test

Jungle Survival Drivers Training: what do users think?
Sarah789h: I'm going to make this short and not so sweet. If you want to pay this company a large sum of money so YOU can teach your child to drive by all means sign up. If on the other hand, you want to pay to have a TEACHER - with the use of a proper drivers training car teach your child, go elsewhere.
Justin Swartz: The interior of the building has a nice atmosphere, and I quite like the wrap on their cars. Aside from that, it's just an ordinary driving school. Nothing special. (3 Stars)Update: I've come to appreciate their teachings a lot more since I got a delivery job that often takes me to the east side of the state. It's a different world over there. Truly a jungle.
Ron Jackson: My student went through segment 1, which was a 3-week course. My student said the instructors were nice, but also had several complaints. As a parent, I observed some issues. This company had several logistical problems and is not outfitted to run at this capacity. I will go into detail about 4 items that come to mind.1.They do not provide the book/worksheets required for the class. You have to go on their website and print a 42-page packet. This was exasperated because it was not specified ahead of time and my student came home after the first class and told me that we had to print this book before class the next day.2.Drive times… There is a lot wrong here. They cannot support the number of students that they take on. The students are required to perform 6 drives and 4 observations with an instructor during the 3 weeks. Parents were told in the orientation, before the class even began, that there are not enough drive times available for everyone so you need to sign up right away at the beginning of each week, because the slots will fill up and not everyone will be able to drive and observe. I was baffled at this statement. And this indeed happened. During the last week of class there were no drive times available. My student had to finish the drives after the class ended when spots became available. The first week after the class was over, the only available times were 1pm-2pm. This was ridiculous. My student is in school and absolutely will not be skipping school to drive. They do not have the resources to support the number of students they take on. Every student should be able to perform the required drives. Instead, parents must race to claim drive time slots, and some people lose and don’t get any.On that note, they were asking parents if anyone wanted to be an instructor during the orientation. Then, during week 3, they went around to every student in the class and asked if they knew anyone who would be interested in being an instructor on 3 different days. My student thought it was bizarre.3.Even thought the students must fill out worksheets and take written exams in class, they do not have desks. They just sit in little chairs and must use their lap as a desk. It is uncomfortable and doesn’t make any sense. My student was asking me if they could bring a small table to class so they would have something to write on.4.They do not teach the state curriculum. They teach “the jungle way” which is safer. More head checks, longer following distances, different procedures, that kind of thing. There is a lot of “the state says to do this, but do it our way instead.” One issue is that what they are learning does not match the state exam, and my student said that made it confusing and harder when taking the state exam.Final thoughts:I had another student go through a different driving school and none of this nonsense took place. The workbook was provided. They sat at desks. And the required drive times were available to all the students. No problems. My personal recommendation is to go somewhere else if you can. If you can’t, it’s only 3 weeks (plus additional drives afterward if you don’t sign up fast enough) so you will survive.
Blue Leaf Inventions: I went here as a student. They have cool cars and room. But they had no desks, kindergarten chairs, you have to print your own book, and they exaggerate the rules extremely which makes the state test difficult. The instructors are awesome. Except this one lady that never said anything during the drive except when I almost crashed. They are over booked too so ~25% can’t even get all thair drives or observes in. This was so bad a bad time would not recommend this place to anyone.
sarah kreger: Rude staff when asked questions. Does not accommodate disabled drivers
rich conner: have had a few kids thru their school. Never a issue. My latest driver wasnt ready for class. They didnt hesitate with a refund and were very understanding. That alone deserves a 5 star review.
Virginia Stiles: I went here for my level 1 drivers Ed, and they were amazing. The teachers and driving instructors were super nice. I had Robert and he was super nice. All of the instructors were great with new drivers, and I am looking forward to taking my level 2 training here.
Kaijo Playz: Actual driving instruction is very good however the seats during class time in the building are somewhat uncomfortable to sit in for 2 hours of instruction. During drives it is actually quite difficult to mess up due to the driving instructors being very experienced with bad drivers. Overall quite good.
Jeb Cazer: sooooooo much better than Main Street
Drew: Positive:QualityJungle is a phenomenal driving school. I’ve went through segment 1 and 2 now and have only had positive experiences. RaRa is an incredible guy and taught everyone in the class very well, while still being entertaining. You will learn a ton of really valuable things at this school that you won’t learn at other schools. Highly recommend!
Elias Battiata: Truly looking out for a learning drivers best interests. They are supportive, patient, and caring and for that I am thankful and appreciative for my great experience and the knowledge I gained attending their drivers education courses!
Braeden Williams: Critical:QualityThis place is a scam. I wanted a refund because of covid and they wouldn’t give me my money back.
Wade Wyant: Put 3 kids through and have 1 more to go. Very happy!
Victor Jammal: Seeing some really divided reviews here, I feel I have no choice but to go against the grain. While I feel that this driving school has a somewhat good program, having taken both segments here, I can not deny that there are quite a few things they can improve upon. For one, scare tactics are a big thing here when they really shouldn’t be. For example, “green means death”. Why would we want to put kids through that? It just makes them even more anxious about something they already probably have an unhealthy level of anxiety for. Secondly, there is too much information that they make you memorize without having experienced it first, such as an ENTIRE laminated sheet of which the front must be completely memorized and the 10 headings on the back must be completely memorized. Thirdly, some things the school teaches are just way too inaccurate and/or not feasible. For example, how do you plan to achieve a 6-8 second following distance consistently, especially at a speed of 40 mph? A lot of stuff I learned while driving either had to be relearned or completely learned myself.
Allison Young: I attended Jungle Survival Drivers Training in 2008. I only attended segment 2 at this organization, but recall ‘Rahrah’ screaming at my peers asking if they had hemroids when they were unable to memorize and repeat the rules of jungle driving. I remember feeling fearful of Rahrah that prompted me to write this review 10 years later. I can only hope these fear tactic teachings from Rahrah have stopped since I attended.
K H: Not sure how instructors are with learners in the car but they are terrible other times....honking at people and giving them the middle finger. Not the type of behavior I want my kids around
The Solo Simmer: Ra Ra is awesome and highly recommend this place!
Joshua M. -: Went above and beyond in teaching me waht I need to know in order to drive.
Peggy O'Neill: Exceptional instructor!!! Best driver's education around!! With 3 kids, 3 different types of driver's education/educators, Jungle Survival has the best instructors/education around!! The kids were happy, enthusiastic, excited and all appeared to really like and respect their instructor. Driver's education classes go beyond basics to teach students what's needed to stay alert and alive when on the roads.
Ben Z: Rara and Dave are the best, make sure you come back for segment two, it’s even better than segment one
Brett Malec: Jungle is a phenomenal program. First things first, don't question Ra Ra's ways he knows what he is doing. He may come off as scary at first but he is amazing at what he does. The way he teaches his class explains things much better then how the state wants you to learn it. Overall great experience will be heading back for segment 2. Great driving instructors and great teacher. Rock on Ra Ra
