David Gourd: Vegan and gluten-free. Delicious vegan Ethiopian food and gluten-free if you order the 100%teff injera. The restaurant has not been updated, but the prices are good and the owner is friendly.Vegetarian options: Completely vegan restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Completely gluten free if you order the 100% teff injera.
Brittany N. Scott: Lived in GR for 3 years and been trying to find a favorite restaurant. This is it! Delicious food, not a long wait, friendly staff.
Emily Lynn: CASH ONLY establishment.Other than that, everything about this restaurant was SO GOOD. I got the two person platter and the sever was so accommodating by asking if we liked spicy foods or not. My friend did, so there were a couple of options that were spicy, but not overly spicy. More on the mild side.I'll definitely be coming here more often when I can. It's well worth trying out.

Nefertiti Clay: I've been there often. Never disappointed
Preston Parker: Very delicious and filling food, tasted as great as it looked. There was only one worker when we visited and she did an incredible job, was polite and worked as fast as she could. They're tea was likely the best I've ever had, and they had great mango juice as well. We bought their coffee grounds which we'll try tomorrow morning. I would definitely recommend trying this place and leaving the worker the big tip she deserves.
Brett McDowell: Amazing food. All vegan options, and I believe it was cash only while I was there. So plan ahead on the cash. That said, even if you aren't vegan the food here is top notch. The place could use a little sprucing up, but didn't feel dirty or uncomfortable.Highly recommended!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes 2 Person Combo Platter, Injera Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking …More

Herbal Tea: LOVE eating here! The flavors are amazing. We always order the platter and enjoy the variety of flavors and textures. Been eating here for over a decade. I love eating vegetarian or vegan so this hits the spot for me. The food is consistent and so delish. Always leave STUFFED and HAPPY :) The Ethiopian tea is so yum! I can't enjoy it as often as I would like since caffeine keeps me awake and we always eat here at dinner time. Must stop for lunch to enjoy the tea too.
Emily: The combo platter (a good amount for two hungry people) and tea were absolutely incredible! Best eating-out experience I've had in a long time.
Abi Papala: Loved this food, I didn't know the food serverd was vegetarian when I went in. but, the taste exceeded my expectations.
Alanah Rau: The food was absolutely amazing! Visit Little Africa if you want authentic Ethiopian cuisine and warm service.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian/vegan!
Roberto Camarena: Vegetarian options: I tried the spread of different yummy items!
Danny Rico: Phenomenal. This place is perfect. The environment is super low-key, and the service is warm and friendly. The food was outrageously delicious and at a great price. Go for the combo platter, it’s amazing! There’s a reason the reviews for this spot are so good. Believe the hype!Recommended dishes Combo Platter …More

Sarah Mania: Went here on a Saturday night at 6:30 and were seated immediately, though most tables were full. No loud music and very spacious for a small restaurant. Two in our party were familiar with Ethiopian food and two weren't. Such an enjoyable dinner! The combo platter ($12.50/person) was the perfect amount of food for four people, and everything was delicious. The tea was super flavorful. And they now accept credit cards! I would happily return again next time I'm in the area.Vegetarian options: Every dish is vegan and well-seasoned.
Jessica Angst: Our first time here and we would very much recommend!! My boyfriend and I popped in for lunch and got the plater to share along with coffee and tea. Everything was so good and the service was great too, we will be coming back when we’re in town again.

Chandler Marble: This place is not a restaurant, it is a second home. Outstanding, and amazing!
Pain Dudester: Easily on par or better than what we've had in Chicago. This is family made, authentic Ethiopian cuisine that you will not find elsewhere in Vegas. At present, menu is a little limited because they are new, but I will personally be coming back to ensure they grow. Remember that this is authentic, so while not spicy hot, it is spiced well with rich aromatic scents that hit you the moment you walk in. I recommend this place Highly.Vegetarian options: Lots of options and vegetarian platters also that easily match what the meat eaters can orderParking: Easy strip mall

Karla Coronel: Recommended dishes Large Coffee Pot, TIBSMore
Rebecca Martin: We’ve come here a handful of times. Love the platters. Everything has been great.
Aristiaa Nguyenn: And I would come here AGAIN! I was bored and wanting to do something, or treating myself to a meal so I decided to go here. It was nerve wrecking because I was alone and also in a place I have never tried before, but the lady who helped me was so welcoming that I felt at home. The service is top tier, the lady was kind enough to suggest the dish and showed me how to eat the proper way which made me felt so included. I got the sample one because I wanted to try a bit of everything and it was amazing. Portion wise, BIG (for a person maybe). I usually eat just a little but and got full right away, but if it comes to good tasting food, gosh darn that day I almost ate the whole plate. I lovee this place so much and would come back to try other dishes on the menu. The mango juice was good too (and A LOT).
jim: WOW…… they put essence in the foods, smelly delicious
Terri Seadorf: My favorite restaurant! Delicious food, friendly service, and great atmosphere. Thank you for such a warm welcome. Easy parking for the area.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Nicole Foxx: Vegetarian options: Only a few pieces of meat with the family platter. Mostly injera bread. No kitfo or cheese. Stingy with meat. Family platter does not feed more then 1.5
Smitha Varkey: Please change status on google to closed .Restaurant is never open. After going there at least 4 times in different time frames on different days ,and calling them multiple times no response..The google assistant tried to make a reservation even that failed. So please change it on google as closed .
Beth Engelsma: Best Ethiopian food we've had!
BM Fitzsimmons: Amazing food! Owners are incredibly kind and welcoming and have done an amazing job with the atmosphere of the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back! The samplers are delicious and the lamb dishes are delectable as well.
bread: Very authentic. Very Savory. Some of the best peppers i’ve ever had, I recommend this if you are looking for african food.
KENZIE MACDOUGAL: This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids. The owners are very friendly and the food is fresh and delicious.
Covey Bonnema: I love this restaurant one of my favorite response in the whole wide world and the people that are very kind they're loving and welcome there good place to me hang out feels like home.
Leanne: What a lovely little restaurant. It's nice to have tasty vegetarian places to try.
Jason Stiles: I really enjoyed my experience at Go Jo. The staff was really nice and the food was excellent. We got the super vegetarian combo and it appeared that everything was made in house and very tasty. The coffee with accompanying incense was an interesting event. The decor is utilitarian but with an Ethiopian theme and the tables have glass tops with embroidered weavings. The biggest negative is that the restroom has a truck stop vibe and should be addressed. I'm shocked that the restaurant was empty when we came in for lunch on a Saturday as the quality of food was fantastic. It was a fun time and I'm looking forward to going again.
CC: Great food, the chef is fantastic

Aristiaa Nguyenn: We all love ourselves a hospitable restaurant with amazing dishes!!! Me and my friend came 5' before the place opened on a stormy day, so we wait outside until they open, after a while, the opening sign didn't light up so we decided to call them, and learned that because of the bad weather they needed to delay the opening time. However, the owner was so nice that the moment he heard me and my friend are in front of the store, he said he will be on the way right away, please wait for him to come. After just 10', he showed up and kindly show us the way in, and he was really friendly, really welcoming and open to conversations. He seems to be the cook himself, he offers us a type of flat bread/cake (?) sorry I don't remember, as an apology and it tastes super familiar to one of my childhood snacks. He started cooking right after he guided us in, check in with us once in a while and specifically as for our taste preferences, what we think and how do we feel about the food. I love how energetic and passionate he is with his customers. Now, about the food, it was amazing. We ordered Fufu okra with chicken, anf salmon broccoli with rice, both of them were seasoned really well and just stimulate your taste buds right away. The fufu is soft but had a certain firmness to it, the chicken gotta be my favorite, it had a strong umamai flavor and it was huge as well. The salmon has a tangy/sour-ish flavor, which went really well with the rice that came within the dish. I wholeheartedly enjoyed the meal that day and would love to come back and try the turkey some day. Should check this place out, good food, great customer service, big portion, everything you coukd ask for in a restaurant!!
Laura Jonker: We enjoyed the delicious Hattian food, but were even more impressed by Nick's outstanding customer service. He explained everything on the menu with a smile and made us feel right at home. The restaurant vibe feels very local, inviting, and authentic. We'll definitely be back!
eric coronado: Awesome little humble restaurant with an amazing menu and the best customer service. Will definitely recommend it and come back!
Anthony Wright: Tropical taste has amazing food and affordable prices! Would recommend it to anyone who is into tropical/Caribbean food.
D' SHAWN VANCE-JAMISON: Great taste and food. Only issues was paying $19 for a small amount of food. That was not expected. Next I'ma get the fish or something more the FuFu meal was too less of food for the price and no drink included.
Carter SMG: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Curbside pickup: YesMore

I’ve never had this style of food so I decided to try:QuaterChicken with Rice and PlantainsHis food will bring life to you. He balances everything out so you don’t have super overpowering tastes. Overall I’d rate this place a 10/10 and I believe whoever sees this should come and try it out! So good I wrote a review‼️Finger Licking Good‼️‼️‼️
Libertarian Rebel: One of my favorite restaurants in town. Everything's delicious.

Jessy Valentine: The fish and chips i ordered was well prepared and tasted good but it was the only option on the menu i could order and I wasnt really in the mood for it. This one doesnt cater to easily upset stomach, everything is pork, cheese, or spicy.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a wheelchair and it was not easy to get through, they do provide a ramp but the tables are densely packed. When leaving i had to get out of my wheelchair and hop down two stairs because there was no room to get back to the ramp.
Dan Holmes: You like your taste buds don't you? But you probably take them for granted. Maybe you go days, even weeks without even thinking about your taste buds. How do you sleep at night? Ignoring your trusty ol' buds like that? Here's a way to treat your buds to a special gift: dine at Roam. Your buds will do a cartwheel. Not literally. That would be a health risk.Roam offers street food from around the world. Without having to leave Michigan, you can taste menu items from Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, you name it.Do you have a hard time making everyone in your party happy? That won't happen at Roam. Everyone can find something they love.
Michelle Belanger: Great place to explore different foods and flavors!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Greg Mckellar: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Caitlin W.: I ordered the Singapore curry, a vegetarian (I think vegan, actually) coconut curry with tofu, potatoes, and other vegetables. There were some pickled onions included that were a really nice contrast to the other flavors. It came with white rice and some tasty paratha. It was all good. The restaurant has some neat lanterns hanging from the ceiling, but I didn't get a picture of them. My server was efficient and friendly. It's a bit on the pricey side, but not outrageous.
C F: Decent enough for a small bite/drink. The veggies with the hummus looked like they found them in the bottom of the bin, the burgers were very greasy- like puddle of grease on the plate that soaked through the bun/sit in your stomach heavily for hours type, the fried potato bites i really wanted to be good but they did not have any flavor beyond potato/oil. I'm thinking it was an off day.
Tegan Jenkins: Great food and I really like their street food themeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Banh MI, Hash Balls …More
C.G.L.: Elevated dishes from around the world served by attentive staff in a laid back atmosphere.
Ani Sarkar: Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsFood: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Paratha Tacos, Kati Roll, Mango Sticky Rice …More
Allen Ross: Many interesting dishes for a diverse selection of tastes. Recommend sharing dishes between several people as I would not have wanted to eat a couple of our dishes as a single entree. The Bao were fab! If I was to get a single entree, the Bao would be it.
Brett Dilley: This place is almost perfect. Eclectic, they have vegetables, international flair, etc. I had the skewers though and they were like rubber. Great drink. Tasted like an Astro pop. Spare ribs were assumed incorrectly to be like kalbi...they were a pile of just spare ribs without a sharp enough knife to attack them.Service was very attentive, ambiance is good as well.
Lilly Baker: I only went here once, but I wasn't overly impressed with the menu options, especially for the price point. Off course that is just my personal opinion, but I probably won't be back. I did have a fun cocktail that had a popsicle in it, but the food wasn't as good or as much of quantity as we were hoping for the prices.
Explore With Steggie: Fantastic experience! We will definitely add Roam to our regular restaurant rotation. Loved the vibe! Slim but good wine list. The apps were really my favorite part of the menu. I may just focus on starters and wine next time. Several vegetarian options. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and gave great suggestions on the food and the wine. We took the Mango Sticky Rice to go.Vegetarian options: Loved the Hash Balls, Samosas, and Suppli. All were vegetarian appetizers and so delicious!
Jodi Smith: Walking by & found this gem of a restaurant. The curry delicious, but the mango sticky rice was straight up life changing! Our server Alfie made some fantastic recommendations that helped us eat gluten free & was so good about checking on us - we're only in town for a few days but will likely eat here again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mango Sticky Rice …More

Nathan Ver Beek: We have had ROAM on the list to visit for a long time and we finally got a chance today. We should have come much sooner! The poké bowl and kimchi bokkeumbop were both excellent. Highly recommend adding the seared ahi tuna to the kimchi.Service was super fast and friendly. We will absolutely return again to try more menu items.
Shilpa Mathew: Loved the place!! Went with colleagues and wanted to take my family there.Food was really good with distinct options and tasty too..Recommended dishes Gua Bao, Paratha Tacos, Poutine, Kati Roll …More
SiennaLei: Pleasant environment and excellent service. Vegetarian and vegan friendly. If you want to try some Asian/Mexican-fusion food, it is a good place to come.
