Samantha A: This is long, but thorough. I booked a full set with Hope, a few days before my wedding, in September. I chose this place because there was an unbelievable promo for a $85 full set for your first time. My wedding budget was so strict that I was even doing my own make up and lashes were my one splurge. This promo was almost half the average local price and seemed too good to be true. One of my bridesmaids was a was a lash artist in GR, before moving away, she advised me against going to a studio for price alone, and referred me to some of her former colleagues, but their prices were so far out of my budget. I had also read some reviews that had me questioning the longevity and quality of the lashes, so I called and talked to the manager, and she was so reassuring and committed to a follow up appointment in a few days, right before my wedding to do last minute fills, if I were to have any issues.At my appointment, I was surprised by how immaculate, and large the studio was. Very clean, stylish, and relaxing. It seemed more like a spa. Hope walked me through all of my options, showed me pictures and explained the differences. We chatted until she was sure she knew what I was looking for. She made sure that I was comfortable, gave me a blanket, dimmed the lights, and it was over before I knew it. It was so relaxing, I could have taken a nap. It was all quick and thorough. I was very happy with the results, and didn’t need any adjustments. Plus, my bridesmaid that was leery the studio, when she got into town, she looked at my lashes immediately and said they look great! (And she would know).What really impressed me was that the manager that I had talked to prior to my appointment even called me the day before my wedding to check in and make sure that my lashes were still completely full and congratulated me and wished me luck. It felt very personal and was very considerate.My lashes lasted forever. I followed the aftercare instructions closely and I didn’t lose a single last that wasn’t a result of my natural lash shedding. I don’t have lashes regularly, but I will definitely go back to this studio next time I need them. I’ve been to other lash studios in GR in the past, and this is definitely comparable, if not more of an personalized and comfortable experience. I’m on week 3 and although I can tell I’m needing a “fill” they are so flirty and long that they blow away my own lashes... even going well past the 2 week fill recommendation. It will be 4 weeks before I see her again due to timing.If you want them thick and lush 24/7 get your fills 2-3 weeks max. If you are tight on funds....4 weeks, although is a stretch.... will still keep you happy and confident.Michelle was super professional... Denise Kurz: The lash technician at Krysalis Lash Studio does a fantastic job on my lash extensions! The reason I rated Michelle a 5 star is because my lashes look natural, the glue she uses doesn’t make my eyes water when she finishes, she’s gentle taking of the old lashes and applying the new lashes, and my lashes stay good for about 3 weeks. She also cares about the health of your natural lashes. I like the fact that she has lash cleaning supplies when you get there to clean your lashes before she starts. I’ve been getting my lashes done for about 7 years and so far she the best!!! The atmosphere is nice, bed is comfy and heated in the winter! Would definitely recommend her!

Dawn Mandl: I had nova lash extensions in the Detroit metro area recently. Long story short, they were horrific - very poorly done. I had to travel to Grand Rapids for work two days after I got them, and frankly.....they were embarrassing. I was desperate to get them removed and started calling salons in the Grand Rapids area the first morning I was in town. Siren and Proper was my last option. I explained my situation, told them I was willing to pay anything because I was desperate, and they got me in that night. They said there would be a small fee because I wasn't a client. I didn't care what it cost. They removed them with no damage to my natural lashes, and told me it was a good thing I got them removed because so much adhesive was used that my natural lashes would have eventually broken off. I can't put into words how relieved I was. When I went to check out and pay, they told me it was free, no charge. I insisted they let me pay, but they insisted it was no charge. I almost started to cry. That is outstanding service. I'm forever grateful. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I was having issues with my lashes growing out and falling out (no fault of hers my lashes were just very grown out) and she was so nice when I told her about them, and seemed actually concerned about my lash health! Even when I’m not in her lash lounge, she still treats me with the utmost respect and professionalism!!Wow wow wow! Sedalia is by far the best lash tech I have came across! I got a full set two weeks ago and they are still full and looking great! I recommended my sister to her and we are completely different when it comes to the style of lashes. Sedalia was able to give me exactly what I wanted, which was long and bold, and gave my sister what she wanted, which was short and more natural. Her range in her lashes is outstanding!She is extremely professional, sweet, clean, and her lash bed is so comfortable! The environment of the shop was amazing. It’s cute and welcoming and the other lash techs are also very kind. 100000/10 recommend! I will probably never go to another lash tech again!
