Sofia Ovalle: Folks need to know about this Community food store. They go by a point store system for food purchases. The variety of food products are great. Always a wonderful surprise when you visit. Contact your local Salvation Army agency for signing up for a referral. They are very friendly and you feel like part or a large family. I pick up items for some of my senior neighbors.

Angela wahr: Really disappointed I was turned away today even though they were full of food and they said noone came except for me. It's been a month since I've been to a pantry and mine was closed today, I went here because it's the closest pantry to my house. They said if I do get food from them that I can't go back to st. Alphonso ever. I have no food so I was desperate. ..

Make you feel comfortable and loved :) Been going here off and on for over 15 yrs. Sarah and Waverly are awesome at their jobs here and help support you as a individual or family. We need more places like this and people like them that truly care. Ty to also all the volunteers that help take the food to the car or pack it where ever it's going lol and the time they spend helping others..If you need help they are there :) ty all again

Danielle Smith: Great people and an excellent variety of food given. Parking was difficult and beware there are stairs to navigate. I'm disabled and was unable to carry my box down the stairs and across the street to my car. Fortunately I did get help with that.
Shondreka Lott: The diapers come in handy. People very nice but with a double hernia them stairs be a killer on me.

None Sampson-Lyke: The people were extremely extremely nice. They bagged everything up and one of the gentlemen there and one of the ladies even brought it out to my car and loaded it in. A really great experience. I wish that more people would donate to this particular place because they help many people.

James: I went there for the first time on Wednesday the 4th and I really enjoyed the experience that I had there... The volunteers that were working there was super duper nice, helpful, kind, pleasant and explain the process very thorough... I can't wait to go back next month...

Danielle Simmons: This program has been a blessing for those families and seniors living in their community. Their staff is wonderful! They allow Meals on Wheels Western Michigan to have a "Senior only" food pantry once a month at their location. The seniors love the pantry! Heather Daniels: I may need help once every couple months and this is my first visit at this location. The guy who checked me in was super helpful and there was even a small spot for my 2 year old to play with his dad while I went with another gentleman to gather our items. The guy was nice I told him I was new and I didn't know what to to. He smiled and we walked along as he told me the amounts of what I could get.. he made jokes and we talked about family and by the end I was laughing, the staffs amazingly sweet and I appreciate all their effort to be in my community helping us when we need it.

Deb Cottle: This pantry is smaller than where it used to be, but there is still quite a bit of selection within the food type categories. The lady in charge (I believe her name is Yoli or something like that) is very sweet, helpful, friendly, and giving.The requirements have changed some since moving from the John Knox Presbyterian Church, though. You still need mail that has the names of any adults in the house and an official government issued photo ID for yourself (has to have picture and address). Now, you also have to have an official ID for any children in the home (birth certificate, social security card, etc. I don't believe these have to have photos).
