Catholic Charities West Michigan, God's Kitchen: what do users think?
cathrine hayward: Helped me with a need ! Thank you!
Corrin Rodriguez: Great food and caring people!
Arbry Clifton: Clean, organized, good and nutritious meals provided at lunchtime. The staff there are courteous, warm and friendly. They provide a service badly needed in the Hearthside Neighborhood.
RENE L.: I miss the cafe style line where you could see the food. Then you could pass if something looked unappealing or not God for your dietary restrictions. Now with everything in a to go containers. Usually the meal's are carb heavy and as a diabetic that can be an issue. Hopefully things normalize and they go back to the old system. I have hopes as they opened the dining room for eating again recently.Update 5:21: Dropped to 2* today. Arrived at around 1pm to find a line waiting at a locked rear entry door. So after standing in line for 30m. No one having the courtesy to answer people's knocks with a simple sorry were closed. And trying to get thru on the phone to speak with someone finally got thru and was told they apparently closed early due to an "incident" that occurred. But they couldn't put a simple sign anywhere saying so. And even if they closed the dining room why couldn't they pass meals out the rear entrance as when the dining room was closed. They definitely need a better plan in place if things occur. Especially as when I arrived there were people inside eating still. So because of whatever occurred many missed out on meal's including a young family with 3 small children that were in line.
richard grecheski: Great caring people
Steven Cochran: God's Kitchen was a major life saver for me, as well as for others. In 1999, I started going there as a condition of my community service sentence, but I quickly became a regular, dependable volunteer, and in love with the awesome staff, the people we served throughout West Michigan, and the act of helping other without discrimination whatsoever. I also had to do away with pride and use the services this organization offered. This is venue of true love for ALL people. Volunteering the time that God blessed me with allowed me to learn more about life, and living. Every individual who has, are presently, and will volunteer themselves to serve God by serving the disadvantaged, will definitely reap the eternal benefits.I truly miss the staff of God's Kitchen.
Lela Lyons: In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”Acts 20:35.How gratifying it is to read of you serving 175,000 people last year! May God continue to bless ALL that support this great deed!!!
Samuel Palmer: Godly help
Floyd Young: Nice place
Patrick Hall: Good food
Cindy Burns: Thank God for his GREAT GOODNESS AND WE ARE ALL BLESSED
Dennis Treadwell jr.: Helpful. Kind.
Laura Muresan: A great place to volunteer. God's Kitchen serves a few hundred lunches each day. If you like to chop vegetables and to interact with people while serving food, God's Kitchen is a great place to spend a few hours. The people stopping in for meals are generally pleasant, kind, and grateful, with just enough "spice" thrown in to keep it interesting. The meals are all free, no questions asked. A main dish, vegetable, salad, bread, dessert, and coffee are almost always included.
Mike Henry: What a wonderful resource for the community. Very kind and educational. Thank you Catholic charities. You helped us more than words can express. One day when we are on are feet we will not forget and pay it forward to you. Thank you again.
Candice Grasser: Doing the most for homeless in Grand Rapids. Thank you for serving a healthy meal everyday.
Jon Griffith: Great place of god
Angel Dwyer: Great place for a free meal
Kayla DeGraff: The food is ok.
Debra Stephens: I am good and hard worker with lots of cleaning required from the 1st Methodist Church for 21years this December I enjoy working with God's places for our people.
Kyle Clarke (K2GR): Haven't been inside
Tessa Tariverdi: Wonderful volunteer opportunities to feed the homeless in our city.

Downtown Food Pantry: what do users think?
Dezeri Smith: Was very nice to me, gave me a generous amount of food to get me through this storm, thank you so much and I’ll be back again.
Sofia Ovalle: Folks need to know about this Community food store. They go by a point store system for food purchases. The variety of food products are great. Always a wonderful surprise when you visit. Contact your local Salvation Army agency for signing up for a referral. They are very friendly and you feel like part or a large family. I pick up items for some of my senior neighbors.
andrea Hower: Love their concept and the volunteers are so nice and non judgemental
Makeme Proud: The people here are so nice and what a wonderful blessing.
Jodi Wyatt: Lots of help

The Other Way Ministries - Community Resource Center: what do users think?
Danielle Smith: I went here to get help with food. The food pantry was good, sadly no milk or eggs but made up for it in the amount of ground beef that was given out. They were kind and positive people to work with.
Turbulence Tyme: I enjoy how the other way ministries help the neighborhood families with food, toiletries, diapers & other miscellaneous items for your home. You need to make sure you sign up with them with proper verification & they will do their best to help you they have bilingual staff to make sure everyone is serviced they also have a church building where they welcome diverse families to praise & worship & different community events & projects highly recommend if you want to volunteer your time or donate to them this is a reputable opportunity.
Jennifer Dibble: I used to volunteer there for 2 year's.
Lesvia Marroquin: BQuienes pensaron en abrir el other way minist para ñoser alludar a muchos en la co.inidad serán bendecidos por. Dios porque es educativo para todos porque todos debemos alludar gracias the Other way
Danielle Poe: Such friendly staff. I didn’t know what it was all about & I was greeted and treated SUPURB throughout my entire experience.

Nicole Oom: I enjoy going to the other way have been involved with them since childhood
Dennis Faber: If you need help with food go here. If you in the NW area.
RENE L.: There food pantry is great even if it's a small one. They greet you and speak to you with respect. Which at these organizations seems to be hard for staff/volunteers.The little market they run I find hit or miss tho as it's a little confusing as they have the co-op stuff in the same room. I wanted to get a couple mandarin oranges and was informed sorry all the produce was for the co-op. Also the prices have a low and a high which confused me.
Kimberly Mead: People we're very helpful and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Love this place!
Laura Mercer: Southwest community organization to help people with food.
JD Sullivan: Food bank is so helpful.
Willie Wilson: Great food bank. Can go once a week. Foods great and the staff is helpful and friendly
Tim Beeler: They've help everyone that needs help with food and ect. Thing's too !
Brenda Ingersoll: Friendly happy people giving free food and items to those in need
Anime girl Harper: This place has great service and they let you know all of your options, they treat you like they are teaching you how to shop healthy and eat with many good and tasty nutrients and they have kind workers who are down to get down with their jobs! This is probably the best food pantry in the west side I've been to so far, and they are pretty clean. Coming from me you shouldn't worry much when at this place, just make sure u have an id, if you are connected to your central center in your location. They are organized to the toppers standards of their ability and have great character here. The only thing to say here is it would be nice if clothes were available for the locals who can't access much transportation. Over all I give this place an astounding review. Impressive quality of the ones who come in.
Wendy Paz: The staff here is always very friendly and helpful!
Arly Miles Winchester: Staff is friendly and helpful, it’s a bit of a small space but they require masks which is a bit comforting/helpful.
Leslie Mikrut: Nice people and lots of fresh vegetables..
LeeAnn Overway: You guys are awesome
Carla Iraheta: Awesome people helping others and very kind thank you other way ministries
