I am a single mother with very young children and I was asked and harassed and cursed at by one of these individuals and 3 others asked me for money and help. Aelin O’Meara: Went for NYE. It was our first time at either of their locations. It was a set menu which we didn’t expect, but seeing that it was a major dining holiday, it wasn’t all that surprising.We had the shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, rib eye steak, the poached monkfish, and we each had the cheesecake and wine pairings for each course. We’ve been telling absolutely everyone about this place since. We STILL rave about the steak and the wasabi based cocktail sauce.The service we got was so personal - our reservation was at 4pm so the place was pretty dead - and our server was more than happy to tell us all about the wine and the food and the restaurant in general. The pairings were PERFECT. Clearly a lot of thought was put into the choices for the menu.I’m going to miss the tailored experience, but I’m excited for our next date night here anyway.

Nina Arnold: I wanted to go to a nicer place for dinner tonight with some family. A lot of restaurants were booked full or just didn't do reservations/could have a long wait. I remembered that there was Sandy Point and checked their hours on Google and their website. Both said it was open. So I made a reservation through Sandy Point's website (which took me to Open Table) and I had no issues making a reservation for 7:30 pm tonight (11/30). We get there and it's closed. No sign on the door, no notice on the website, nothing. This was frustrating especially since I was able to make a reservation?? If they do this to you, go across the street to Garage Bar and Grill. It's a different atmosphere but has great food and drinks. Oh and they're actually open when they say they are.

Sherry Brown: Great food. Limited menu. No coke (or Pepsi) nice service. Had the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised by the dozen of tiny potatoes that came with it. Fish had a perfect crust and big flaky white meat. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Hubby was happy with the burger and fries.
Lisa El Alam: Staff was friendly, atmosphere was nice. We sat outside and was seated immediately. Food presentation was ok, but flavor of food was mediocre. We got the fish and chips and Ribye. Ribye was cooked to perfection, but the sauce it layed in was not so great. The rice batter on the fresh fish was undercooked, but the fried baby potatoes were 😋 needed a bit more seasoning and perhaps some Malt vinegar options. Rida Zahra: I have tried their Berlin Doner rice bowl and Istanbul doner rice bowl. My favourite is the Berlin. Im not a salad person but their salad is so good with everything. I highly recommend trying this place out. Their meat is also halal which is such a plus for me.The service is remarkable. I always tell them to add extra and they do that with a smile.Also tried their falafels and fries. The fries are sooo good. Falafel was good too but the fries are the best.

Lindsay Chadwell: Butchers union is one of the coolest places to dine in GR! It was PACKED on a Tuesday. I snuck in and grabbed a bar seat to try the new summer cocktails and a light dinner! Everything was great, I only wish there were more salad and chicken options! They had one chicken entree on the menu and it was a half of a chicken that took a minimum of 20 minutes. The chicken on the salad was also an option. The service was impeccable. Definitely shoot for a seat in the back as that’s the most asthethic and open area of the restaurant! I probably won’t dine alone here again as it was pretty loud and packed, but definitely recommend for a dinner with friends or a date!
Rebecca Irby (PEAC Institute): Incredible food and drinks! The bar has such a wide and deep liquor selection, especially the whiskeys, but also A LOT of great beers. I highly recommend! And get there on the earlier side, it gets busy quick - they open at 4.

Aaron LePoire: I wanted to like this more with all of the stellar reviews I've heard, but I came away disappointed. The atmosphere and service were great, as well as the cocktails, but the food overall was disappointing. We found multiple hairs in our food and found it to be underwhelming and slightly under seasoned. It was very busy, they do have a wait list but no reservations and it gets very loud so don't expect an intimate experience.Parking: Street parking and paid lots available nearby.

Try the Brussel Sprouts, amazing!It would be easy for a place like this, due to their high foot traffic location, to be lazy with regard to food and/or service. Not this place! I have been there since and sat in a different spot with picky orderers/eaters- again, treated wonderfully, food was great. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. There is often a wait, so prepare for that. We had cocktails out on the street while waiting, it was great. We were a little hungover the next day, lol.

Courtney Leeper: We really enjoyed our dinner at Butcher's Union. They don't take reservations, but have a online waitlist you can join, we went on a Wednesday night and it was packed so there we had a 30 min wait for 4, but we all agreed it was well worth the wait. Our server was fantastic, and we had a drink at the bar before being seated and staff at the bar was wonderful. Great beer and cocktail selection, not a huge menu but we all got something different and enjoyed it. The inside is beautiful and so unique it made for a great dinning experience. Would definitely recommend trying this place!!

Carol Rummelt: I wish I would have taken a photo of my mahi mahi tacos. Have you ever heard of fish tacos with tortillas instead of a hard flour shells? The tortillas were kid-size. You get everything separate, liike fajitas. There were mango chunks, black beans and power grains😳 (what's that?). Everything was flavorless with no seasonings at all, including the fish. The fish consisted of 3 small square pieces, about 1 1/2" diameter, not deep fried and crispy, but charred and they even forgot the guacamole. All this for $15??? I used to love Arnie's, but I won't be back here.

W K: Great experience! No wait time. Many TVs available for watching the game. Tasty food. The spinach and artichoke dip and the truffle fries were both especially good. Our waiter Brian was also the best! He was helpful, attentive, and went out of the way to make sure we were taken care of. There was also live music when we showed up on a Friday evening, which added to the charm of the restaurant. Overall a cozy, nice time. We’ll definitely be back!
Caroline Hahn: The food was really bland and dry.. I got the hot honey jalapeño chicken sandwich - it was so tasteless and it wasn’t spicy at all. The spicy chicken sandwich from McDonald’s has more kick. I get that not everyone likes spicy food, but anyone who doesn’t like spice isn’t going to order the “hot honey jalapeño” sandwich. The fries that came with it were somehow soggy and burned at the same time, and the “beer cheese” dipping sauce that came with them literally tasted like nothing and had the consistency of canned nacho cheese. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and I probably won’t come here again.
