Mines Golf Club: what do users think?
Russ Rose: Real nice course
Devin Dailey: Challenging and fun holes. You will be humbled if you are a new player.
d talbot: Painfully slow and managed poorly, what a shame
Adam Ikamas: Really fun golf course. Fantastic conditions with firm and fast fairways and greens. Great prices, highly recommend the Mines!
Nicholas Guyton: Great course, loved all the hills, staff very friendly
David Bush: A wonderful course...
Steve Beene: Nice golf course, moderately difficult. Get quite a bounce event on greens which I had to adjust to. Greens were in really good shape with lots of undulations. Fun course.
Jonathan Joseph: Great local course.
Brad Stek: Favorite course in GR. Well kept, friendly staff, easy to book, and challenging course.
Jesse Ault: Really fun layout and solid conditioning. Really good value at under $60.
Gerard D: Very well maintained course. The fairways consist of some steep hills. The greens have hardly any flat spots on them, which makes them challenging.
Ethan Schelling: excellent place for beginners and experts
Tom Rettenmaier: 2022: The Mines now has alcohol and food!About 2016, they remodeled and added a small bar. They have sandwiches, hot dogs and brats. Plus a nice range selection of beer with several “on tap” beers. Well drinks too! They are making some course improvements such as leveling out tee boxes, adding more cart paths and all their carts now have GPS. The course is in great shape. Thanks Mackenzie for asking me to update this review.P.S. I’m a member and enjoy the friendliness of the staff and chats with the owner!2014: very nice golf course being so close to the city. Greens were very angelating and several shots you had to place verses trying to hit over them. down side is no alcohol, food or place to sit after a relaxing round of golf. Otherwise well worth the money.
carlos dandridge: Best golf course in Grand Rapids MI by far and really challenges your game. Fast greens hilly fairways maks you tune your game up really fast ..
Natalie Hewitt: Beautiful (challenging) course!
Tom Timmer: Very nice course, can be challenging.
Joe Kresnak: Nice course, specially if you like hills!
Aaron Forrester: I've never golfed here but was just driving by and a golf ball hit the top of my truck. Would have hit my wind sheid had I not seen it boucne on the pavement and hit the breaks. Called and talked to a MacKenzie but she didn't take a name or number just apologized. Not sure what can be done besides a net of some sort along the road but I'm not happy this morning.
Bret Smith: No ball washers! Don't like playing with dirty balls!
Joshua Stevenson: Great fun course, tough the first time around because of elevation changes but a really well designed layout. Great deal for a really nice course
Jack Doney: The course has gone downhill since new ownership, the tee boxes are all chewed up the fairways are even worse . The greens are poor , but a lot people that play there don’t fix ball marks and don’t rake bunkers. Although there is not much to rake because there is very little sand in them. The last round I played I went into a bunker and I hit a black drainage tile in the bunker that was about 1/4” below the sand. To sum up The Mines they have a lot of work to do to get it back to what it was 5 years ago.

Indian Trails Golf Course: what do users think?
Parker VanDeVenter: Visited the driving range today and my overall experience was great! Lots of slots so you’re not shoulder-to-should with other golfer. If I had one “complaint” it would be the artificial turf to strike off. I tee off with a 2i and I couldn’t use the tee slots since they don’t go down far enough. That’s a personal issue though. Sticking off the deck worked just fine though. Will definitely visit again and will book a tee time here soon!
J gamino: Nice
Rob: Used to be solid for price.
Cameron Renz: Good pubic course, well keep most of the time.
Michael Cauzillo: Short muni priced right you should be able to play the same ball the whole round
Steve Beene: Short track. Adjacent holes. 4800 yards. Round was fairly quick.
Isaac Phelps: watch out for the pressed old man harassing kids about bunkers
George Brown: Golfing on November 3rd. Course was I great shape. Thank you Indian Trails.
Brendan Schafer: Short Course.Open. Fairly well maintained. Great for teaching kids or shooting a PR. Don't trust the markers.
David Vipond: Solid course for the price. You're a bit close to the 28th Street traffic which can be loud depending on the time of day.
Abe Lee: Excellently fare price and nicely maintained golf course.
Brandon Mackey: We we’re denied service. Drove an hour for them to tell us we couldn’t play because we had a person back out. And the staff we’re extremely rude about the situation
T S: Fun, convenient, decently taken care of for the price. However… they need to get rid or 10-15% of the tee times or have someone keeping pace. Should not take 25 minutes to tee off the second tee. Expect almost 5 hours to play 18 on the weekend.
Calvin Asusa: Well priced and usually in decent shape, my go to for a quick round within the city limits. Easy course to walk and hone in your game. They seem to cater to all forms of golfer.I use the driving range the most, I would give that aspect of the course 4 stars because they utilize mats, but with limited room and limited grass, I can certainly understand why.Recently the addition of a range machine has certainly upped my enjoyment, as I can get out of my car and walk straight to the range, no mucking around at the proshop anymore!Staff is generally well mannered and will help you anyway you can. Its a fairly well oiled machine. My only grip (If you can even call this one), is due to weekday leagues, it can be tough to get on later in the day, so generally an afterwork round is out of the question.
TMT Icy: The staff is all around good, course and greens are usually kept looking nice. Only downside is there is a employee who seemed like a manager, that tries to charge me and my friends more money every-time I’ve came in recently. i have to keep reminding him that I came 3 times last week and paid under $20 (high school rate) but he kept trying to get us to pay $25 even $27 one time, just weird stuff.
Jakob Gray: I was very disappointed with my experience here, especially it being my first time. I booked a tee time online for me and my buddy at 8:20. Online it states rates before 9am for 18 holes is $29. We arrive there and find out that we have been randomly paired because of the golf now software, and the rates only apply to 9 holes. That’s really sneaky behavior and I wasn’t happy to start. I then go ahead and ask for a student discount instead and the super outgoing club house guy huffed and puffed about having to cancel the transaction. He also included a sarcastic comment about how $5 is $5. I didn’t acknowledge him and I just walked out. Oh it’s not done though... we tee off at 8:19, club house guy comes out again and tells us we’re supposed to be on the back. We go pickup my buddys ball and are stuck behind 3 foursomes the rest of the day. What an absolute nightmare in the clubhouse, I’d be posting fake rates too if this how my staff ran a golf course.
Stephen Burrill: Treasure of the Grand Rapids community. Not a flashy course but great for those learning the game and a casual round. Practice facilities are expansive. Parking on week nights can be a nightmare, hopefully a bigger parking lot is coming soon!
Scott Rogers: Not one golfer in sight on the 1st 9 holes. All I saw were families with little kids taking 20 minutes per hole and beginners who were never taught golf course etiquette. Once the rookies played 9 and went home it was clear sailing. Ranger needed to get out from under her shade tree and move groups along. Doubt I'll play there again on a weekend.
Ryan Bartz: I was barked at by a coyote, and almost stepped on a skunk.
Greg Heisenfeldt: 4.5 stars out of 5. Early morning tee time not at all busy. Reasonably priced. Nice greens
Nathan: Really enjoyed it here. Very peaceful, and wasn’t very busy

Thousand Oaks Golf Club: what do users think?
Alex Salas: AWESOME place for dinners and also for weddings and grad parties. Food selection is tip top. Paking can be a bit of an issue if the an event is being held there. Other than this all is top notch!
Melanie Vanderboon: We held our school junior/senior banquet here for the second year in a row. The food was delicious and we received many compliments. The room was beautiful and we also took pictures on the golf course which was also beautiful. Jillissa was amazing to work with - she quickly replied to all of our emails and followed through on all of our requests. Definitely recommend!
Sally Miles: We hosted a bridal shower at the Birch Room at TOGC. Overall a good venue, Ease in booking and a good value. The food was good and there was a very nice selection to choose from.
Jordan & Sara: Great course great members. Some would say one of the nicest of the Red Water Courses. But, subbed there for league and didn’t get free golf tees.
Courtney Kellogg: We had a company event at Thousand Oaks. The room fit our group perfectly. The food was great. We will be back for future events.
Scott Aldrich: We held our HS prom at Thousand Oaks, and the staff were incredibly helpful, courteous, and supportive. Students were very happy with the venue and the food. We found the prices to be very competitive and overall experience much better than other venues we have used around town. I feel the staff went above and beyond with any request or need that arose. Highly recommend for a positive experience with quick, friendly, helpful service.
Tom Williamson: We had our Prom at Thousand Oaks Golf Course. The event staff was extremely helpful with set up, assistance during the event, and teardown. The balcony was a great spot for students to take a breather and enjoy some fresh air as well. Leading up to our event, the Redwater staff took care of anything we needed and helped remind us of deadlines and any other necessary information. I would definitely have an event here in the future!
OAM-IT OAM: The sales manager, banquet manager and staff were all very courteous, responsive to our needs, and easy to work with! The taco buffet and desserts were tasty. The facility is not extravagant, but is nice and clean. We appreciated having parking directors and golf carts for transport available as we arrived and departed. One exit made it slow for our large group to leave the property.
Paige Biek: I was here for a large work meeting. The facility was nice. The ladies bathroom's sinks were draining slow and there was little soap and paper towels. I know we were a large group but this was happening within an hour of getting there. The parking was crazy and again I know we were a large group. I appreciate the workers who drove people to there cars in the pouring rain. Kuddos to you!
Rebeca Rodriguez: I highly recommend using this venue for your event. The coordinator is easy to work with and the staff was very kind and helpful.
Gina: Great food, service needs work.
Kelsey Marr: Hosted a baby shower here and it was great! That staff was so helpful and the sales manager who organized the event for us was so accommodating and answered all my questions. All the service was prompt, we were all very impressed with how easy it was to have a small event here! And the food and drinks were AMAZING!!
Marnie Linna: We held our annual company dinner in the Oak Leaf Lounge. The planning, the food and the service was excellent. Everyone that attended the event enjoyed the comfortable and cozy atmosphere of the Oak Leaf Lounge and the staff was very attentive and courteous. We would definitely host another company event at Thousand Oaks Golf Club!
Robinson Dental: We held our holiday party here. Great space. Great food!
Eloise Mika: Loved having our company Christmas Party at Thousand Oaks. The upstairs room was welcoming and cozy, staff was very attentive and the food was fantastic! We will definitely be hosting more events at Thousand oaks.
Ben Shoemaker: Great greens. Be on the right side of the hole though. Blue and White tees are not far apart, but there are a few holes you'll pay the price distance-wise. Nice 19th hole.
Emily Lazor: We had our Gala at Thousand Oaks. It was a great space for a large crowd and we could use their screens for our presentation portion. They also had a stage to rent!
James Moran: Jillissa and the entire Event Staff are exceptional.I have been performing events at Thousand Oaks for many years. I highly recommend Thousand Oaks for your next event.
Angela Weston: We held an event at Thousand Oaks recently and worked with Jillissa Dolly. She was such a great event planner and made sure our event went off without a hitch.
Jennifer Selnes: A group of 6 of us went for dinner last night. Got seated right away then had to wait a good 10 minutes before even seeing our server, it was not busy whatsoever when we first got there. Ordered drinks , ordered apps then again didn’t see our server again till our apps were finished, when she came by and asked if we needed time to look at the menu? We were there at least 25 minutes at that point. Food was all cold, Asparagus was barely cooked, mashed potatoes were horrible. Out of 6 of us only 1 had no complaints on the food. Way over priced for the quality we received.
Julie Smith: Beautiful setting, awesome atmosphere but average food for the price. We had a table of 6 and half our food was cold. Would have loved to tell our server but she never returned.

Thornapple Pointe: what do users think?
Mason: Great looking course, greens played fast and course is maintained exceptionally.
devin palmer: Very fun and challenging courses, super clean great views
Jay Peterson: Love the newly renovated club house!
Nelson M: Excellent Golf Course. The greens were a 8.5/10, the fairways were nicely cut, and the course overall was great. Coming from Dallas, Texas - playing here was an awesome experience. Will be back again.
Michael Leidlein: The indoor golf is almost as good as the course.
Mike Hull: Great time!!
A. Drehobl: We loved the atmosphere of their pavilion for our wedding reception! Because Thornapple supplied mirrors and candles, we only added flowers and greenery to the table and felt the place was well-decorated. The traditional layout with a center dance floor worked well. Event staff was wonderful and food was good. The added dessert fee for bringing in our own dessert seemed a little pricy, but we knew that cost before booking.
Brendan Schafer: Probably a top 3 course in Grand Rapids. Greens were so quality in November. Well kept, not to many leaves. We will be back.
Evan Inger: Beautiful course that is unfortunately way overbooked. When you're looking at a 6.5 hour round on a Tuesday in the fall, I can only imagine what it's like on the weekends / summer. Painfully slow.
Jennie Lee: The staff did a fantastic job the day of our wedding! We received so many compliments on the food as well!
Ben Shoemaker: This is a good track, and nice property. Range needs help and punching the greens should be communicated more broadly.
Shane Holwerda: Average golfer yet love playing here!
A. M. D. Vaughan: Lovely venue....great view of the golf course, airy, tons of natural light with all of the huge windows.
Omar Gomez: Came to the event area and it was a very nice space. Seemed very roomy. Could probably fit a couple hundred guests in here comfortably.
Brittany Garza: We LOVED our wedding at the Thornapple Pointe pavilion. We received so many compliments on the venue, the food taste, and just the overall atmosphere of the event. Sarah was fabulous to work with during the planning process and was very flexible and attentive in communications. The only reason I give 4 stars was due to a number of guests receiving cold meals - The venue seemed to be short-staffed day of and it took awhile to get the food out. Overall, I would highly recommend thee venue to future brides!
Edward Svoboda: Well maintained with nice layout
문성욱: My favorites
Nathan: The course was great. This is a review specifically for the driving range.I don’t quite understand why they would keep selling buckets of balls, and continue to send people to the range when they clearly don’t have the capacity for it. They had a large portion of a section closed off which then led to a line of people waiting around the range. It was pretty ridiculous
Dale S: Beautiful club. Was there for a social event. Staff was professional and pleasant. Food was nicely prepared, presented and tasty. Course looked really nice, but didn't play golf.
TJ Suchocki (Fast Booth): We provided a photo booth for West Michigan Aviation Academy here. Prom 2022. A very nice place. Food was fantastic. The staff is quite helpful. I hope we can see you many times in the near future. Keep up the great work.
Todd Elliott: Challenging course, great run. Course is well maintained and in excellent condition. All to offer and staff is wonderful.

Gracewil Country Club: what do users think?
Steven Ryan: It's like going to your brother or sisters golf course. Your treated like family. The course is my favorite in the Grand Rapids area.
Samuel Schubkegel: Ahh Gracewill. Every year, I make it out to Gracewill - they run some great deals. Cheap golf all the way around.I always end up frustrated with the course lay out while I'm there. Trees line most holes -- if you're off the fairway, many times, you're behind tree... forces you to punch out or take big risks. The course feels repetative in nature - doesn't challenge you to use every club in your bag.If you're worried about price, Gracewill is your spot... but I wouldn't bring anyone you're trying to impress here... unless of course, a low price impress them... then by all means, this is your spot!
Timothy Alman: I just drove by it never played golf there.
Barbara De Vries: My high school class reunion was here. We kept to the open air porch and it was perfect.
Connor G: Decent course but big complaint is the greens. They are not cut short enough. Completely different than other courses. Very squishy/bouncy, and super long. Not a fan. Otherwise course is in decent shape.
Brian Degarmo: Had a golf outing there for work great place had a great time
Mitchell Repp: Meh...its cheap, and fairly well kept. But, the people it attracts at the price point...well, just don't expect professionalism on the course.
Fred R: Old course established in 1929 in an old apples orchard. Great value and walk-ons accepted without tee time. Friendly staff. Course needs some updating and maintenance, but still enjoyable to play. Slow greens.
Kyler Marble: This course is your typical golf course. With a slope of around 110 to 115, Gracewil offers a decent challenge for the average golfer. They have a great twilight rate and are relatively laid back. The only issue I have with the course is the speed of the greens. They usually run pretty slow, other than that, I love playing here.
Worthy The Explorer: Great and friendly staff... Course was a little wet but still good time on the course will be back...
Tomas Maysonet: First time here, beautiful course with average challenge level. Highly recommend it. Does not have drive range
Pattie Marczewski: Always a good time. 👍
N K: Very unorganized, there are no tee times so it’s complete anarchy and nobody ever lets you play through, even if you’re by yourself
Jeff Boelns: Family friendly
Joe Klump: Nice golf course on the west side of GR
Brandon Hood: The nicest course I've ever played at and I've played all around
Harley Whitehead: Always super nice employees and overall just a chill course. If you’re lookin to drink and have a fun golf day this is a great spot, not too pricey either
Justin Bowers: It's looking good this year so far
Cameron Stoepker: Course was in great condition, greens much slower than you'd expect but overall a pleasant experience
Dale Higgins: Currently in very poor winter condition, but already charging full price.
Dan Whitinger: Course in Poor condition. No sand traps, slow greens cart paths also in Poor condition. Friendly staff and nice clubhouse.

Watermark Country Club: what do users think?
Carol Laning: Versiti Blood Center had there Bi Annual Leadership meeting at Watermark Country Club. By far the best place we have found yet. Food was great and the staff SUPERB!!! Thank you so much for hosting us, we will definitely be back
Krystin DeWyse: Great place to work with for events! The space is beautiful and staff is kind!
Jordan Beute: We hosted a company event for the second year in a row. The facilities were excellent and the Shore Room was perfect for our needs. The servers were very helpful as well and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend.
Northern Jet Management: The experience was seamless and the staff was a pleasure to work with!
Jackie Medenblik: We had a women’s dinner of about 40 women at Watermark. The food was excellent, the staff went above and beyond and the view was gorgeous! All our dietary restrictions were met with no issues from the chef. When another group booked the room next to ours and knew it would be loud, our event coordinator moved us to another room so that we would have a quieter evening. We plan on holding another event here next year!!
Rachel Sinacola: When we had to unfortunately cancel an event last minute, I was grateful that Sarah helped us utilize the food to donate to a local organization. She offered options and worked with us even though it was a last minute change for Watermark.
Don Yaw: I booked a room at Watermark Country Club for a surprise60th birthday for my wife. What an awesome place! We did a Sunday brunch in the North Room which allowed me to invite up to 50 people to help celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was excellent, the staff was fantastic and the facility is top notch. My wife was really surprised and everyone had a great time. Thank you to Sarah and the rest of the crew at Watermark for a memorable experience.
Chelsey Wagemaker: We came back! This was our second year hosting our corporate event at Watermark and the venue didn't disappoint. The booking process was made easy by Vanessa and Sarah and the staff on site were most helpful. Shout out to Renee, our bartender, who did a fantastic job for us and to Amber for getting the sound system working before our guests arrived. They made everything flow perfectly. Overall a great experience. We'll continue to use Watermark for our corporate events.
Megan Hippe: The staff was helpful &* prompt leading up to and during our event to resolve any concerns that arose.
Sean “SCHWHEELZ” Wheeler: Sarah was fantastic to deal with when planning our event. They responded quickly, and had everything in order. They're veggies, as well as the food in general were excellent
Olivia Martinelli: I work at Lumbermen's, and we use Red Water Events over a dozen times a year for various type of corporate/customer events, and we LOVE them. I love being able to explain my "vision" and let the experts take over from there. They make it easy. Appreciate all of their efforts.
Jim Hocking: Stopped in for a social media seminar on a weekday morning. The staff were attentive, professional, and the event was run without a hitch.A salad bar was served for lunch and it was definitely worth the two plates I scarfed down.If I was any good at playing golf, I’d consider a membership here.
Brianna Gohlke - Clausen: We recently hosted a business event for just over 100 people. The venue was perfect, the AV was easy to use, and the staff were great. One unique response we received from attendees was the physical layout and size of the hallways made for the perfect setting for networking and prevented people from wandering off too much in-between breakout sessions.
Norm Woltjer: Had a wonderful Christmas party event at the banquet room.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Michael Reygaert: We called Watermark on short notice looking to schedule a holiday party and they were able to accommodate us for our event. So thankful for the flexibility and service we were given! The event space was great, food was wonderful and the staff we had with us were outstanding. Highly recommend!
AMY R: We had our company Christmas party at Watermark Country Club for the first time this year. We have used RedWater in the past, and the experience this time was the same, which is excellent. From handling food allergies and all of the other little requests, down to the big one, which is the food! The meal was fantastic, well flavored and appeasing. We are already booked for next year!
David Walkotten: We had a Business Christmas Dinner here. Food was phenomenal and done well. AV/Music setup was good. Staff was good, could have used another person or two. Very well planned on the front end by Vanessa.
Randall Ames: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Lindsay Schichtel: Watermark was a phenomenal venue to work with. We recently had our wedding reception there on 8/27/22. The food was wonderful. The venue accommodated our 120 guests. The dance floor was the perfect size. The views are beautiful, and everyone we worked with was kind and professional. Our event coordinator, Laura, was very timely in answering emails, accommodating, and so helpful. Overall, the experience was wonderful.
Erika Bradfield: We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at Watermark and it was absolutely beautiful. From the service, food, drinks, and grounds, we were incredibly pleased with how everything turned out. We still have guests telling us how impressed they were with everything. We would highly recommend this venue!
Richard Conklin: We held an Estate Planning seminar at Watermark. The staff was great and very professional. Watermark was very accommodating. I would highly recommend using the Watermark again for an event.

Gary Graeff: Excellent food and service. Love eating on the patio!!
Ross Vander Klok: Great atmosphere and wonderful, amazing, fantastic food. Was here for a work event so didn't have to pay and no membership but seems like it would be great to be a member!
David Hiemenga: Very nice area for banquets and parties
Elizabeth Fish: Mowed gras
Kenneth Brandes: My wife had worked there for over 15 years. She worked at the half way house, this year they never called her back to work and never had the courtesy to let her know if they were calling her back to work or if they were letting her go.I think it was awful on their part seeing how everyone is looking for help and to treat her like that
Blake Grieve: This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a country club!!! Food was fantastic!!! Bag boys were brilliant, and the course was in immaculate condition!! The severs and everyone was sweet as a button and the pro shop was absolutely stunning. The locker room was breathtaking as the large bar and dining had enough space for everyone!!! The great scenic views on the patio provided a beautiful overlook on the course. The starter was so so amazing with helping me with all of my needs including questions, tees, towels etc. The practice facilities were the best in MI!!!! 1000% recommended to anyone that wants to join the club!! But one of the bag boys did have a backwards hat but its just a simple mistake!!
Mark-Quieasts Cook: Very Very Nice

Bob Zomermaand: We were invited to the Cascade Hills Country Club for a special occasion. While we had to wait for the food to arrive at our table, when it did, it was awesome. Try the cheeseburger soup? You will be greatly pleased. The pork tenderloin was very good as well. Bon appétit!
Hayley Reitsma: We were planning on getting married at CHCC, but due to the shutdown, I was unable to be married on site. Since the only operation they could still complete was takeout meals for small gatherings, Paula made certain that we had THE BEST experience possible with that aspect of our wedding day. The hot food was piping hot, and tasted just as spectacular as it would have in the club itself—everyone in our mini wedding said it was absolutely amazing! We were so grateful for her proactive communication, professionalism, creative input, and effort across many months of planning and re-planning—she managed to make us still feel special in vastly different circumstances than we’d originally expected.

X-Golf Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Dr. Tyler Kinch: If you live in West Michigan and enjoy golfing, then you need to head to X-Golf. After you get your fill of golf stop and talk to Jordan for a private lesson. He knows what he is doing and gives simple and easy ideas to practice at home.
Marc Peterson: Place is great and the simulators are fun. Nice course selection and lessons are available.
Cody Hamma (Alaska): Great place for practice by yourself or with a group of people. I went here for a birthday for one of my good friends and had a great time, the bartenders and staff were extremely friendly and always made sure we were taken care of.
Jody Toften: Lot of fun. Drinks are good too.
Jonathan Joseph: Fun way to golf indoors.
Jeremy Burch: This place is top notch. We play in fall and winter leagues and I’m up there numerous times a week to work on my game during the winter. Jordan is without a doubt the best manager in the game. He has also given me a lesson recently that has taken my game to the next level. He’s an awesome person. I can’t say enough good things about him. Zoe is awesome too. She’s there for our Wednesday night league and never misses a beat! 36 guys in a Wednesday night league and your beer is never empty unless you want it to be.
Duane Wandel: Always get great service, but the prices are too much for one person to try to practice much at all.
Alyssa Morse: Service was overwhelmed tonight. Simulator had to be fixed every other swing it felt like. Had bay for 2 hours and felt like I hit like 5 times. Took 5-10 minutes to get fixed at times. Just not the experience and fun I thought it was going to be. Nothing against the staff…our group ask for some compensation but nothing was provided. We have been here before and it was fun but total difference experience the 2nd time.
Serena Son (공반이): Great facility and staff. It is pricey ..and they are almost always busy. I would recommend 👌
Ryan McGee: Staff was fast and courteous. Clean establishment. Will be back.
Patrick Nolan: I have played at X-Golf in Grand Rapids at least 15 times. Jordan should be an owner. He treats people like he is the owner, the very best. The technical problems are few but Jordan can correct them in seconds. Most of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and timely with all requests. An excellent place to work on your game or just play if in Mich in the winter. Love X- Golf. Pat Nolan
Rebecca Hall: Came here with some friends last week. It was our first time at X Golf. Only one of us knew how to actually golf, so it was very interesting to watch each of us try to golf. One of us brought some clubs in to use ($15 per person if you don't bring your own). The rate itself to golf is a little pricey ($45 per person the day and time we went), but the technology to do X Golf probably costs a lot, too. Most of us had drinks and pretzels (really good pretzels by the way - 3 pretzel sticks with cheese for around $6). Overall we had a good time. Stayed for 4 hours instead of 5 hours like we originally planned.
Ryan Way: Awesome golf, drinks and friendly staff
Scott Ringquist: Super friendly staff. Great time
Brian VanderWerp: A very fun time. Zoe was attentive and knowledgeable. The list of course choices is somewhat limited, but who cares? You are playing golf indoors, and there's beer. It's the quarter car wash of golf, and that's not meant as a criticism. When you are limited by time, you find ways to play faster. I've read some negative reviews of this place, and I'm fairly sure one or two of the folks that wrote them have held me up on a real golf course once or twice. X golf is not cheap, nor should it be. However, if you think you didn't get your money's worth, you should consider giving up the game, or at least not making prime tee times that hold a real golf course up.
Mike Voss: Good time. Always run well. No F&B until February 1. Worth the time
Doug Baker: Enjoyed my first visit to X-Factor. Probably 4.5 stars only because I am uncomfortable with the information from the swing analyzer. Guess I need to adapt with the technology.
Joe Palumbo: Once we can drink beverages of an adult nature, I'll give you guys 5 stars.
Phil Marsh: Great set-up, simulators, and staff.
Kodee Hof: Amazingly fun, but GD expensive. Everything is well taken care of and they treat you great, but the overall price is to say the least daunting..
James Snyder: Zoe and Travis elevate this location to a whole new level with their top notch hospitality, positive attitudes and smiling faces! They are so much fun to be around and extremely helpful! Thanks for always having fun with us and being so welcoming!

Kaufman Golf Course: what do users think?
Jay Morgen: You can’t golf here as a solo golfer.
Dale Albright: Place is well maintained and the club house staff is always great, even when they are swamped take the time to greet you!
Patrick Justus: An absolutely beautiful course however they overbook to the max and when you show up early for your tee time they will allow multiple walk ins saying “we are full but I guess we can squeeze you in”We waited almost 30 minutes to tee off while looking at the 10th tee and not a single person had teed off not sure why we didn’t get sent off the back 9. was downhill after that every single shot we had to wait while the group of high schoolers blasting trap music infront of us took 15 swings each to reach to reach the green. How can you have signs posted everywhere to keep pace of play up, mention it to us 3 times before we even pay then we just have to deal with the group infront of us chasing geese?Definitely don’t golf here if your looking for a quick 9 after work you’ll be playing for 3 hours then get kicked off when your 150 yards out from the 9th green because “it’s dangerously dark” but when I mention the pace of play infront of us I got hit with “that just how it is”So I guess that’s the same with the sunflower seeds littering every square inch of the green, just how it is. Another stunningly awesome golf course ruined by poor management unfortunately will not be coming back to this course wouldn’t recommend unless they are completely booked and you don’t have a tee time, they will have no problem letting you play.
Peyton Hurt: Great course, awful management. They’ll mention pace of play 50 times before you play but won’t enforce it. Took us 3 hours to play 9 holes because the group in front of us was playing slow. They got to finish, but course Marshall made us quit… on our 2nd shot of the 9th hole. We were in disbelief. Not to mention the sunflower seeds on every green. Another beautiful course ruined by incompetent management.
Tony Yother: Always love this course. Its tricky but not too difficuly. It for sure has moments that boosts the confidence while keeping you humble at other times.Always love coming here.Would recommend to beginners and more seasons players
Donald Coleman: Love this course.
Jessica Alighire: Beautiful scenery!
Brendan Schafer: Probably my current favorite golf course in the GR area. Decent rate, very well groomed. Greens are pure. Yardages are fairly accurate. No complaints. Also you can carry on alcoholic beverages.
Jeff Sprankle: Love the course. The greens are always in great shape. The first hole and 9th hole are very challenging.
George Blanco: Great course, had minor problem with " someone in charge" who would not allow us 90 + golfers to head out early as we were ready but had no keys to start our carts.
Michael Cantrell: Very nice course, well maintained.
Randy Cash: One of the best municipal courses in the state. BYOB which is ok with me.
Dan: The greens here are almost perfect. If dirt bags would repair thier marks and lift thier feet when when walking they would be perfect. Great course for in the city and most of the holes you can't tell you are in the city. I would like to also give a five-star rating to the ranger that was working on Sunday morning the 28th of August. There was a group in front of us that took 23 minutes to play the first hole SMH he was on top of it he corrected them and we never saw them again after the third hole. Paid $58 and this course comps to those that are around $100
Alex Hausserman: The best "city" course around GR. I try to stay away from courses surrounded by traffic, homes, and parks...but Kaufman is certainly an exception. The course offers great variety from tight fairways and landing zones to wide open tee shots. It's manicured very well. BYOB is a huge plus.
Ken Raby: My favorite golf course in Grand Rapids!
havard Ykema: Very well kept course. Challenging with different levels of play
Jacob Newberry: Called to inquire about a tee time. An older gentleman responded, “I’m not trying to be silly, but you know, this is Kaufman Golf Course, right?” To which I responded, “Yeah?” I apologize, I didn’t realize I just called to try reserve a day at Pebble Beach. Apparently some employees at a public golf course need to realize where they work again.. Been a Grandville / Wyoming resident my entire life and golfed Kaufman many of times, but will not again if employees start a conversation like that.
Joshua Gross: Beautiful course, very fun!
Jeff Mcmann: Used all the clubs in my bag. A little lengthy for us old guys, but was in great shape. Will return!
Peter Vogl: You can’t schedule more than 7 days out if you’re not a member, you have to call sooner than 48 hours before tee time, because their tee sheets are always full sun up to sundown, April through October, it’s as if they’re truly not a public course, as they operate almost entirely as a country club. The course is real nice, but the staff doesn’t care about anyone except members, they might as well be a country club, but their tax status would likely be hurt and that’s why they feign to be a “public course”.If you can’t get a tee time, it’s not open to the public, it’s a members only club, and even as a single, they have to fit you (rudely) in between scheduled groups. Totally unprofessional and unethical when you consider it’s a public park, I’m sure they’ve received tax dollars for the facility.
Keith Sattler: Beautiful course, well maintained and challenging...
