Kingma's Market: what do users think?
Shelly Krawczak: Stella from the deli department is fabulous. I called her for cocktail trays for our daughters wedding and she walked me through the entire process and made it fun! The trays were beautiful! We had many compliments on the various trays she put together for us. Kingmas uses the highest quality meats, cheeses, and fruit. So worth it!!!! They delivered-on time- professional-trustworthy-and very helpful. They took off the stress and worry during a time we really needed help. We highly recommend Kingmas!
Z Brooks: Every time I’m in the store no one seems happy or welcoming at all, today that changed. The lovely cashier who had her first day today was so welcoming and polite. Hopefully the other workers pick up that from her. Maybe it’s because I have an alternative look that people don’t care to be friendly but she was a rockstar!!
John Crankshaw: I don’t go often to this store — my Spring visit is to buy a giant pot to place at a local grave I decorate. They always have them. Inside the store you’ll find a renowned butcher case that a come to a few times during the summer for bbq meats, sausages and other goodies. They have also an olive bar and cheese case. Also nice produce and specialty packaged food items. And much, much, much more.
Kari Hicks: This place is such a gem! My fiancé and I are both foodies, and love to cook, and this is our go-to store for inspiration. As soon as you walk in you’re hit with delicious smells, and the mesmerizing wall of chocolate covered goodies, and candies. The best part is the fantastic meat counter! Friendly, outstanding service every time. Hands down, the BEST homemade breakfast sausage links around, a variety of jerky sticks, huge stuffed pork chops, and if they have the whole smoked chickens, grab one! I was also thrilled to find Cavendish & Harvey hard candies from Germany…a favorite of mine from my childhood. We also love the selection of individually wrapped buns/croissants, and cake slices from Sugar Momma’s Bakery.
Betsy Flory-McCoy: Good food and selection, high prices.
Fred R: Great neighborhood market. They have something for everyone. Surprising selection for a smaller specialty store. The quality of products is top-shelf and fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Deli and butcher counter included. Check it out.
Deena Clark: Caitlin created a beautiful wedding gift basket for me. I gave her total responsibility for the items and she did an absolutely beautiful job. 😍 Thank you.
Mark Pearson: Such a handy location in the Cheshire, Riverside Gardens to pick up top notch groceries, specialty food, butchered items, wine & beer.
Charlie Sears: Local fresh produce... What's not to love? The employees recognize regulars and say hi, which is nice!
DaVina Wearen: Reasonable prices, beautiful location, such a mix of fruits to choose from. I’m so glad I randomly found this grocery store !
Bob Flikkema: Great small box store. Always the freshest produce, a full service butcher/deli counter, bread and bakery items and a nursery in the spring!
Michael Stratton: Would be nice if they were open util at least 9. Also their prices can be a bit outrageous. But they have such a good vegan selection that I can't possibly give them less than 4 stars. Also the cashiers tend to be friendly.
Bryan Guglielmi: Great place with lots to offer. When checking out today, however, Masha asked for my ID and I'm fine with having to provide proof for age restricted items -- but Marsha did not ask the gals name in line ahead of me for her ID; just a verbal date of birth ... and she was 2 years younger than me 🤷‍♂️
David VanderVelde: Amazing beer selection. Many specialty products, fun to browse
Eric G: Top quality, friendly service. The meat market alone makes this place worth a stop.
Justin: I went here to quickly grab a head of lettuce and one tomato and left paying almost $6! The tomato wasn't fresh and the single head of basic lettuce was $5.00!!! I have NEVER paid more than $3.00 (and that's expensive) for a head of lettuce, let alone $5.00... I used to love coming here for their meat market in the back, but this is just plain getting ripped off, and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I do understand that smaller stores are typically more expensive, but paying 60-70% more for something so basic is a tad absurd. Can't say I will shop here again unfortunately.
patricia morris: Great little neighborhood store to make a quick trip. Super collection of beer and wine too. Nice meat counter.
Michael Drouillard: Friendly staff and great selection of items.
Heather Poynter: Great place to get a Thanksgiving turkey 🦃
Mary B: I LOVE this market! There is no better place to buy your meat. Special things await when you go into this great little market. You'll discover wonderful treats and great eats!
Mary Pearson: Not a spot for staples but a fantastic meat counter and deli! Great wine selection.

Fresh Thyme Market: what do users think?
Deidre Jourden: I started coming to this store before they did the renovations. FTM has always been my go-to store, the produce stays fresh for longer than other places, I love the hygiene and health section, and the best items to choose from plus the prices.I am eligible for EBT given I work part time & just had a baby. Today (05/08/23) was the 4th time I’ve went to check out and certain food items did not ring up as food items. The first 3 times I just shook it off and paid for an obvious mistake, it was only about $8.99 I owed. Today I owed $22 for two food items and 2 can drinks. I was in self check out & was told to go to lane 2.The cashier at lane 2, Rebekah, asked me if I wanted to pay the $22 or take them off. I reminded her that these are food items and should be covered. She said there’s nothing they can do, they can’t change it. I asked for a manager and she said “I’ll call one of them, but I don’t think there’s anything they can do.” I forgot the managers name but he was slim with dark hair. He fixed the problem and I was able to leave.Im very grateful he was able to help, but I felt extremely disrespected by the cashier. I have worked in customer service for 6 years and I have previous management positions at a grocery store and another retail store. I observed Rebekah did not want to deal with the situation.. she didn’t offer a solution and did not act appropriate in a situation where the customer may become upset. Given my previous jobs, I already knew this was a problem that could be solved. I am fed up with having to pay for the store’s mistake. If customers are allowed to make purchases using a Bridge Card, then all food items should ring up as food.I don’t know if I was treated this way because of the color of my skin, my young age, my visible tattoos, or simply because the cashier had a bad day, I will never know. I will not forget my experience here.I will miss this store. I’m not sure I will return soon, if at all. Thanks if you read this.
Rebecca Keenan: Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Prices are a little higher than other stores but it’s worth it for the ease and experience of shopping there.
jim: never had a fresher thyroid
Patricia C “Trish” Volkhardt: After seeing the item I wanted, I drove down from Sparta to shop here. I was amazed by the cleanliness, the orderly layout of store, and the stock! I need up buying far more because the prices are amazing! I will be back weekly to shop here. The staff too, are great team!
Patricia C Volkhardt: A truly clean, well organized and well stocked market that's filled with good and caring staff...the prices are amazingly low..I went out of my way to go check it out, and I needed one item. I came out with more! I will drive the extra to go back weekly 😉
Two Hoots: Great looking produce and lots of different healthy options while looking through the aisles.
Michael O'Callaghan: Great place to shop. Helpful staff. Fresh, healthy food. Great produce at fair prices. Lovely!
jose paguada: great place G I bins getting lots of new work in this area Thanks 2 our community who supports us
Kelly D: Friendly staff. Was greeted by two different staff membersand thanked for shopping by another smiling face. I love this place.
Matt S: Good selection of stuff not at Meijer, when they have stock. They're really really bad at having things in stock. It's amateur hour at best and the logistics, operations, and purchasing managers or executives should all be ashamed of themselves and should probably be fired right now. You have a few things that I really want that Meijer doesn't have but everything else is significantly more expensive than Meijer 20 to 30% more expensive. When you don't have the things that I want that Meijer doesn't have there's literally no reason for me to drive further and pay way way way more money. You need to get the stocking situation in order or there's no reason for me to ever even stop in your store.
Monica: It is always clean. They keep their ahelves stocked , the employees are helpful and welcoming. I love their fresh and organic fruits and vegetables. The selection is wide range to fit many different palates. Their salmon is awesome and fresh and it’s my go to for alkaline water by the case. Plus they are open until 10pm which os convenient for late night shoppers like myself.
Theresa johnson: It's a nice place fresh vegetables everything in there is nice and fresh some frozen fish chicken bacon
Dominic C: Ever since their redesign, there are almost no people of color working here. Maybe one. Step it up. It’s 2023
Chuck Premer: Great place to shop, nice produce section, wonderful meat counter.
Bradley Bosscher: It used to be better. The inventory is still pretty good, but the service has taken a pitfall. Checking out is a hassle now.
Paul Townsend Lamb: Organic and fresh products help you save time and effort when shopping. Self checkout speeds the process along. Nice place to shop in the neighborhood.
Titeaunka latrice Hill: First experience I loved it very Well organized and clean and the food was great I picked up for myself for dinner love I'll definitely shop again
M B: There is always a calming autmosphere. They have great products at great and fair prices. The staff are very friendly... esspecially after a long day, they are so kind. I reccomend Fresh Thyme for those who do not enjoy other chain stores; whom live a health forward lifestyle. This is really a great place to shop. Clean, helpful, great store layout, not clausterphobic, stocked well. Really a great place to do your home essential shopping; big or small. They carry a lot of quality brands, local brands, vegan brands, you can bag your own seeds, nuts, or coffee beans, they sell fish like "Barramundi", and have a comprehensive homeopathic medicine section.Oh! And there is rarely ever a line to wait in. Maybe wait on one person on a busy night, they have plenty of checkout kiosks.
dadi vranji: I will never come to this store again because it is the most expensive and besides being the most expensive I have to scan and pack everything myself because the OWNER is stingy to pay the cashiers because he is too money hungry! In the future I will go to Meijer because it is the store that every consumer wants!!!
Karina Munoz: Love this store BUT the prices on the pics are outrageous and funny at the same time.
Barb W Brown: Great selections!

Great Giant Supermarket: what do users think?
Colton Brooks: I genuinely can't believe how good this place is. I ordered off doordash and am blown away by the quality and the tastiness. The chicken wings, the mashed potatoes, the baked mac n cheese. It's stupid how good this place is.
Nick Villaire: Just ordered the Chicken Leg meal with greens & sweet potatoes. Literally the best meal I've had all year for a very good price. Do yourself a favor, order anything from this place.
Lindsay Buehlman: I ordered with GrubHub. First time customer.. the food is SOOOOO good!
Edsel John Evangelista: Loved doing groceries here. Well lit place, always full of stock.
Elvie Dineros: Their prices are hard to beat and the staff is the friendliest in town!!"
Jason Montenegro: Friendly and helpful staff. Here you can buy your daily needs.
lorin rivera: Nice ambience everything you need is here.
Jherick Espino: Best for grocery in hurry!
Christian Reyes: Its really great store people are nice and workers also and the food is so delicious.
Cat Block: Amazing food, thanks for being out there ❤️
Leila Sinclair: I absolutely love this restaurant! I ordered here 4-5 times in the last six months from Uber Eats, and every single time it has arrived my food has been cooked perfectly and still warm! This is an amazing feat, because I live on the NE side. They take great care of their takeout packaging as well. They use tin foil to keep the food warm. I cannot speak very much on their supermarket, as I have not been there recently.𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬I love, love, love their smothered pork chops. Every single time I have been here except for one, this is what I've ordered. It's two fried pork chops smothered in their beef gravy, which is made in-house. Absolutely delicious. Very flavorful. These will definitely make you hurt yourself from over-eating if you're not careful. Definitely like how mama used to make!𝐌𝐚𝐜 '𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞I'm very picky with most mac 'n cheese. It reminds me of Kraft Instant Mac 'n Cheese if it's not done right. This has not been one of those times. Their baked mac 'n cheese is made with cavatappi noodles, which is a perfect vessel for their cheese sauce. Also comes topped with bread crumbs. Absolutely delicious. It is definitely home cooked.𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐬This is definitely a must-try dish! Honestly, between this and the mac 'n cheese, I would come here just for those two things. Their loaded mash comes with a house blend of cheeses and then it is topped off with bacon, and then baked in the oven! The mashed potatoes are creamy while the cheese and bacon is not overpowering. A great side to any meal they offer.𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬These were not my favourite, but to no fault of the cooks! The chicken was very juicy and it fell off the bone because it was so tender. I just think the seasoning isn't my forte.𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠I really liked this! It is made with house-made chicken broth and then toasted. The only thing missing from that is a side of gravy! Yum.𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬The portion sizes here are absolutely HUGE! I usually have one meal last me all day and still have enough for a second day if I can restrain myself from eating it all in one sitting. Their cornbread (which you get with every meal) is really tasty and it reminds me of having dessert. You get all of your drinks from a standard 12oz can, which I love. It's name-branded as well. For water, they give you some of the best; Ice Mountain Spring Water. If I had the money, I would totally buy from Great Giant Supermarket every single day. Hats off to the chefs, keep on cooking because it's some of the best soul food in Grand Rapids!
Jennifer Boyce: I got the pork chop meal tonight. I got 2 sides of Mack and cheese. It was to spicy to eat! Who does that to mack and cheese?
Adam Stowell: Always order from either uber eats or door dash and never disappointed. Quality and delicious food. Will have to visit in person sometime.
Hampton Inn Grand Rapids South: smell bad meat look old please bring back the old foodtown
davids goldstarmother: Peter in the meat department is an awesome person to help if you have questions about meats thank you for helping my service dog and I Peter we truly appreciate your help
Gladys Martinez-Cisneros: Great prices!!August 8th, 2022You want great great meat cuts and affordable prices, then this is your choice!!Ask for Mr Peter, El Arabe. He will cut the meat as you need it!!He prepares great chorizo!! You won't regret!!Place is very clean and organized!!Calvin is the man with the plan!! He is very nice, kind and friendly!! He sure does knows how to keep the grocery department stocked and quiet organized!!
Stevie Smith: Ordered off of Great Giant Soul Food Town on DoorDash today, and I’ll definitely be keeping these folks in mind when it comes to soul food.I wasn’t aware that this was an in-supermarket hot food counter until I went to write this review. I would have never expected this quality level of food out of a counter kitchen. Very, very tasty.Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for an affordable meal, will have to try the more traditional soul food offerings next time!
Jasmine Jonna: This store is awesome! Staff is friendly, place is always clean, prices are great and the food in the deli counter is delicious. I’ve been shopping here since it’s been under new management and I really appreciate that the shelves are always full! I highly recommend coming here.
Renee Batres: I love this grocery store! They always have everything I need. And when they don’t, the always make sure to order it. Great friendly staff! And the kitchen has amazing hot food ready! I even sometimes come here for my lunch. Definitely a must try!
Farah K: Great products, amazing staff and even more amazing food! Love shopping here! Never disappointed!
christopher ayiar: Fresh, clean, and friendly staff, I’d much rather support local than the big box stores, they earned my business from the moment I walked in!

Bridge Street Market: what do users think?
Keegan Kallmyer: I wish they had a deli. Whoever runs the produce department needs a raise.
S M: A lot of workers that are out already putting away items, act as if they do not want to be bothered helping customers in locating items that are already hard to find in that unorganized store! U try to go in for a quick shopping trip and end up spending almost an hour because you cannot locate items that should be easy in locating! For an example: Finding cheese, they are located in two different places, maybe even three places! Makes no since at all. Put all of them in the same area, rather if its plant based or not! Just organize them but all grouped together! Simple!
Turbulence Tyme: Clean, bright , fair priced store has cute little shopping carts for children. I also liked the fact there is a lounge in the store and there is alot of local produce here highly recommend I also want to state even though you have to buy your own bags the bags are thicker in plastic than most stores
Gerald Jones III: Very convenient
-Just Another Corpse-: Always dirty
John Steponski: Great selection of flowers and deli is good
Matthew Love: Vary nice inside
Taylor Smith: I wish things were better kept in stock. Lots of fun and different things to buy here though!
Johnathan Bright: I will no longer be doing my shopping at Bridge Street Market. I was so happy when a legit grocery store came to the West Side, but this place is becoming a joke. You start charging people for bags and now even having customers have to push a button just to get a receipt, but you can't keep the shelves stocked. There has never been a time when there weren't 2-3 items on my list that I couldn't pick up because the spot on the shelves is empty. That, and when you do have people stocking, it's during the busiest time of day, in your tiny store that's hard enough to walk around when busy anyway.
Donna Lynema-Buchanan: Don't care for the parking garage. But it is located in a good spot. Have most items Meijer sells. They don't sell pulp free Tropicana or pulp free Florida's Natural OJ. 🆙 dateThey now have Tropicana Pulp 🆓 OJ. Ty
Thomas Gaw: Best chocolate milk, orange juice, and overall, a market that makes me feel at home. Highly recommend bridge street for any of your needs.
Audi De Leon: Good
Jennifer Dibble: I love going to bridge street market. Love to see what each vendor has. I buy more fresh herbs & vegetables though!
Bill McNair: This is a really cool and unique grocery store. You won't find the name on the building, but it's owned and operated by Meijer. So you get the pricing, selection and value of the Meijer brand. It was does have that boutique market feel though. Very well set up. It's not a department store. No garden center or home improvement for example.
Steve Beene: Very nice grocery store. Has everything you need. Nice produce and meet sections, a deli and large liqueur selection. Impressive
T JB: Very nice!
Marion Genia: Great service usually fast check out
Spedrock W: Very clean and a great selection of foods. Produce is beautifully displayed. Small coffee & food court situated here as well. One of a kind specialty foods as well as needed staples. No hassle free parking for customers.
Clyde Park: Love these places
John Rice: Great store!
Sheri Monroe: It's wonderful to have a full market/grocery store on the west side! I love the covered parking - makes it so much easier to get in and out with the kids if it's raining or snowing. They have a wide variety of items and lots of unique things that can be hard to find elsewhere. Their prices are competitive for the most part. The convenience is great! We love Bridge St Market!
