C Adams: Answers the phone with "hello". When I ask "uh, is this Hill Top Trailers?" has an attitude and tersely says "yea". I ask for a quote for a trailer size and he simply gives a price. I say "ok, thank you" and he hangs up without another word. Oh, and the price was ridiculously high. Find someplace else to get a trailer from.
Robert Vernon: Hear one - hear all!! I have purchased a lot of equipment over the years and I have never had such a smooth and hassle free experience as we did here at Hilltop. It was a pleasure to deal directly with the owner who is a very knowledgeable guy that knows his inventory and equipment. I am a business owner myself and did read the reviews on this business (as comical as some are) prior to talking with the owner.

Isa Clark: Very bad experience dealing with this business owner. I lost $1500 dealing with this man who lacks empathy or concern about good business relationship. Pls be careful buying anything at this place! I bought a trailer from this place and tried to return it in anticipation for a different one and offered to knock off $500 on what I paid for the trailer but this man would rather give me half of what I paid for the brand new trailer and treated me like a piece of nothing during this transaction. Trailer was still as same condition as I bought and all paper works and title still new and intact. All I wanted was to get a trailer and start a new business during this pandemic but I was thought a lesson of cruelty at this place. Be careful

adam meis: Saw on Facebook marketplace that they sold enclosed trailers and had the size/length and options I was looking for , sent them a message later in the night and they got back to me the same night . Answered all my questions I had and I stopped over to look at the trailer and they had quite a selection of other trailers on their lot as well . Easy to work with , friendly , and any future trailer needs I will definitely call them

He had all the paperwork with tax, title, license ready when I walked in the door. He also explained all the details on the dump trailer for a beginner very well. I highly recommend them for dump trailers.

They also had a new trailer on the lot that was the right size, configuration, and at a great price for our needs. tim tripp: Do not bring your equipment hear for repairs. Second shift is 80% high on pot!Yes, Shift Forman Matt know! Doors hung incorrectly, not to OEM spec's. Company does not pay own tickets & would not correct mistakes after my license suspended! Training is from others that need to pad time because that worker was slow! The blind leading the blind hear! Yes, a couple guys know their stuff, are you willing to take that risk on who works on your equipment?

It’s not a very good place to work, the job ad said experience is NOT required when really it is because I was told I’d be trained and I was let go after a month because no one took the time to train me properly. All I was doing was washing out trailers. If you wanna hire a guy to wash your trailers, you should be paying them a little less than $15/hr don’t ya think. I’m a welder, I came to Pace to hopefully add on “Trailer Mechanic” to my resume too. The 2nd shift supervisor was a good guy, really good guy.

J Bo: Bought both my trailers here, had great experience with staff both times once had a flat on my trailer I called them literally 5 minutes till close on a Friday and they answered my call sold me a tire and rim replacement and left it outside the building for me to get , saved me from needing a tow and leaving behind my trailer for the weekend was such a great help would recommend to anyone looking to buy a trailer or get accessories for towing etc great staff and great products . Will always bring my business back to Grandville trailer!!
Amy Huff: Stopped in to purchase a trailer we found online. Noticed a couple flaws in the trailer, asked the staff if they would honor a discount and was told no. Showed the flaws to the sales guy and was very dismissive and said that is not the only trailer with that same issue. We asked a second time if he was willing to lower the price at all and was told absolutely not! We left and purchased a trailer down the road.

Claude Wesley: Beware of buying a used trailer from Hudsonville Trailer when I took delivery of trailer they claim a DOT had been done on trailer but it had to be done by a blind man four tries were bad ended up buying for new tires from them after having to negotiate to get other four replace because they only wanted to replace two then I paid them 300 dollars for trailer plate from Grand Rapids Michigan to Detroit Michigan and nineteen day's later no sign and their answer to my problem is we can't help you take it up with the US Postal Service
