I ordered a new pair of G3 waders and could not be happier with my experience with Nomad Anglers. The process was easy, they communicated well with prompt shipping info, and my new waders arrived quickly. I am swinging for winter steelhead on the Nestucca River this coming Tuesday and look forward to getting them wet. Yalc Kcin: Do not buy firearms from here. Read why... I bought a citadel boss shotgun on Saturday 4/9. Took the gun home and it wouldn't load rounds and wouldn't shoot. They are closed Sunday so I brought it back first thing Monday morning. The guy working told me there's nothing they can do and come back next Monday when the boss is in. I understand you need the boss for things like this so I waited a week. I came in the next Monday and the boss told me there was nothing he would do for me besides send it out to get fixed. Explaining to him that it was a gift and I would be okay with the same gun just not the same paint job and he said no and he absolutely would not refund my money. He told me (and I quote) "We are like a car dealership, you can't return a car after you have bought it." Well I wouldn't of bought the "car" if I knew it was broken. So they send the gun out.. 3MONTHS LATER they call me and say it's back. So I go to pick it up and now its a repaired gun but I still don't get any kind of discount. So I take it home and it STILL DOESNT SHOOT. So I call and explain and im told they will have to send it out again. I refused to take that as a answer and told them I'll be getting my lawyers involved if this isn't resolved today. They finally agreed to refund the gun. I will never recommend this place to anyone. This is the worst experience of my life dealing with a business. Sold me a broken gun and didn't really make any kind of effort to make it right.

The staff is always polite and professional. And if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask, they might be able to get it. Its one of those bait shops that you can come in and be comfortable. You should see all the pictures and animal mounts from years of fishing.

D M: Brenner's is the place to go for bait and tackle, fishing licenses and/or flat tires. The owners are knowledgeable and helpful. It's always a pleasure doing business with them.

Dale Vaughn: Great local store. Went for bait this time. Kent county lake starting around 9:30am. 70's-80's temp. As expected,worms were worthless.The 9-10" perch were biting on perch minnows and leaches. (Not the blood sucking kind) We had the most action on asian crickets but the sizes were small. Very light bites, light and ultra light poles and some blind jigging.

I told them what happened to the rod and they said if we have the same rod in store we can just exchange and he will deal with okuma. Steve Mccaskey: Horrible experience. Brought 11 poles in to get new line. Called ahead of time since I was over an hour away. I was told it was only a few minutes a pole and could be taken care of today. Dropped the poles off and was told it would be an hour max. When I was leaving the shop to go shopping I overheard them letting another customer cut in front of me and get 8 poles re-lined. They did not give me an update that it was now going to take 2 plus hours. I will take my business else moving forward if this is how they treat there customer!

Brian Crawford: The weekday crowd is little. I was there for: trail run shoes, yeti, treadmill. They have a great selection of shoes. Help you fit them and see your best size. The yeti I was after... They have them all... But... The treadmills... They have a lot of rich people treadmills... But I just started running. 200 miles. Anyways... They only had one I would buy. But at 700 bucks and 2.5 hp engine it was a deal. Did not look at clothes. The whole middle of store is jam packed with clothes.

Danielle: Very frustrating experience. Had an online order it pick up… drove from out of town to get it after they confirmed that it was on the shelf still waiting for us. Got there… it’s gone. Nothing was refunded as promised. Basically, lost $25 and driving time/gas money for absolutely nothing. They’re totally disorganized and promises not kept.

Micaela Ontiveros: I placed an online order and received an email stating the shoes were no longer in stock. I called the Grand Rapids location to double check and I received confirmation that the shoes were in stock. Along with confirming they were in stock, the associate confirmed the size, color, and overall design of the shoes and stated he brought them up to the front desk and Customer Service would be able to assist. Given that I do not live in the area I wanted to double check prior to making the drive and I was given confirmation all would be good to go.Upon arriving to the store the associates that helped stated the shoes were not in stock and I would have to connect with customer service if I would like a refund.I do not need a refund however I’m annoyed that I asked to confirm the shoes were in stock so I did not waste time driving, and that’s exactly what happened. I understand errors happen but do not tell me that you have the shoes in hand and you’re taking them to customer service for when I arrive and then tell me they’re not in stock.

Jim Burns: I love this place, great employees, helpful, knowledgeable, well stocked store. I thought cabelas was good, I was mistaken. Cabelas is broken in the technology area, web site, app, in store tech and you get to wait alot there. Dunhams is quick and a pleasure to do business with.

However, did not appreciate the rude security guard or employee in the store (not exactly sure what his role is) who came and stood in the aisle while I attempted to try on jackets. When asking him if he knew the location of a mirror, he seemed to get even more agitated with me. I would encourage Dunhams management to foster a more inviting environment for customers. Understand that theft is a major issue but not all of us are looking to steal merchandise. I actually ended up purchasing the jacket. However, I likely will not return.
