Everyone in the store seems to know exactly what they are talking about, and we’re able to give great opinions, thoughts about design and style I was choosing for an engagement ring. They were all friendly and eager to help me and everyone else in the store when they walked in the door. The prices were also much better than I could’ve ever expected!

Isaac: Cant express how happy I was with everything. Went to pick out a watch for my college graduation and they were beyond helpful. Not only did they answer every question I had about the watch I wanted, but they let me look at, and ask questions about their used section. These of course were much more expensive than the one I was looking at. However the worker recognized my fascination and took the time to show me everything and answer everything. At no point were they pushy or overbearing on sales. They took the time to replace straps, check inventory, and even see if they could order specific bands. I walked out with a watch, and a bunch of free Hamilton swag. Safe to say these guys will be my go to from now on weather it’s for myself or recommending it to someone else. I don’t remember the salesman’s name specifically but he was tall with blonde hair. Although I should mention that everyone their was incredibly friendly.

I had 4 of my rings resized that were handed down by my Grandmother. They appraised them for free, cleaned them and even got one of them that had been severely scratched, buffed and looking brand new. They're friendly, affordable, and dedicated to making sure their customers are happy. I also LOVE all their vintage jewelry. Definitely a customer for life.

They spent a lot time advising me and showing me all the options I could think of. They have the best lifetime warranty I've seen after shopping all around for a wedding ring. This is a family owned business which is a huge plus. Also I ordered my ring here today and they told me my ring may be ready as soon as tomorrow! Which is huge because other places I've purchased rings from took 6 weeks! I highly recommend picking your ring from here :)

Took a bracelet to be cleaned they damaged in process than acted like they couldn’t find the stone till I asked repeatedly. They find it and now tell me the $5,666.00 bracelet I bought from them can’t be serviced threw them? Smh weak so no money for you from my family

Kesslers themselves had a wonderful assortment of wonderful rings, when my fiancé and I returned to pick our wedding bands we were greeted with happily by all the staff, while we were waiting for Mackenzie to finish with a customer and staff member assisted us with rings to look at to help Mackenzie out, after we purchased our gorgeous bands we were gifted a bottle of champagne, his and hers glasses and jewelry cleaner, that was totally unexpected, we cannot thank Kesslers and especially Mackenzie enough for the wonderful service and care that was shown to us!

Ruth Anderson: I stopped by the Breton Villlage location with my three young children and the staff were so kind and friendly!! They were not annoyed at all by my curious young crew and they even cleaned my ring and fixed some wear on the band for free (can't remember the technical term). Normally the latter service is not gratis but they did not charge me! Not only that but my wedding ring looks better than it has in years. They use some special tools other jewelers don't have and it really makes a difference. I was so grateful for Kessler on Breton's welcoming attitude and the wonderful service, too.

Tom Vandermeer: They work for the insurance industry and won't give you a broke down qoute that tells you all the steps that are taken to get a ring finished from start to finished product. It's always a about cost so they can collect the rest from the insurance company. Other jeweler gave us a step by step quoute. Very disappointed that this happens to paying customers.

Max Rispler: It’s taken me a while to contemplate writing this review. I never enjoy writing negative things, but I also believe people should hear my story. I feel very mistreated and inappropriately shamed by the staff at Preusser Jewelers. This was my second purchase at the store back in the Spring of 2021. I had been in a long term relationship and was ready to take the next step. It took me a few weeks to come up with right setting and stone, but I landed on an emerald cut diamond ring at Preusser Jewelers. After paying for the ring, I had the store keep it safe before getting engaged. Long story short, the relationship fell apart in June of 2021, and I was now stuck with what to do. First off, I had to try to haggle with the staff to figure out the price to sell my ring on consignment. They never offered to work with me and take the ring back since it was already in its setting. I later found out from other jewelers that they could have done that. After a few months of the ring not moving on consignment, I decided to take it to another jeweler. When I went to pick up the ring that I paid for, the last thing that was said to me as I was walking out the door was “Maybe next time you should be a little more picky.” That was referring to my previous relationship that I was already mentally damaged from. Very disappointed in the treatment by their staff and understanding of the situation. I do not recommend shopping here.

Tisha DeGiulio: I went into a different GR local store to get my engagement ring “fixed” (they actually made my solitaire crooked and nicked a prong) so I went to Preusser Jewelers, and I’m so impressed!! Debra is so sweet and easy to talk to, she listened to my concerns and made the process so easy. I went in 6 days later, and my ring is spotless!! The gentleman there is just as kind as Debra, and again he made it a very quick and easy process. My ring looks brand new, blindingly shiny, and you’d never guess there was ever a nick in the prong! D K: I have been a customer of Preusser Jewelers for 30 years. I have purchased jewelry and have had custom jewelry made. I have had a beautiful medical bracelet made with engraving on the back and now am going to call to see about getting a medical necklace done. :) They have incredible patience and class and are never pushy. They help you pick out what is in your best interest too. When I think of Preusser, I think of the "class" of downtown Grand Rapids. Need I say more?

Unknown Unknown: I would not recommend this place for an appraisal. I wanted to get my grandma’s ring appraised and resized so that I could wear it. This was the first jeweler I went to. The short, dark haired lady told me that my ring was white sapphires and had a large synthetic dark red stone. She then went to her manager to ask for his/her opinion, which she came back and said her manager agreed with her appraisal. I went to two different jewelers after this because it did not sit right with me, both jewelers after this told me it was a garnet center stone with diamonds around the outside. Will not ever be going back to Preusser or recommend it to anyone.

T: I wish there was a zero star on here. Me and my wife bought our rings from here and it's been nothing but problems from no phone calls after the rings come back from repair and can't get anything done right on her rings on first try. Now she has anniversary ring and was in once already for lose stones and missing stones and she hasn't even had it back a week and same thing is happening again.

I was given an in-store credit and purchased an entirely different ring and wore that ring for 3 DAYS after my wedding before that stone also broke off. Luckily I didn't lose the stone so I brought it into the store and had to purchase another warranty in order to get it fixed. I do not recommend purchasing from Zales. My entire wedding ring experience has been a complete nightmare.

(Lost one every 5 years) Was told when second warranty was bought that it wasn't a requirement to bring in every 6 months, but was reccomended. Warrany isnt honored since the ring hasn't been brought in every 6 months. Quality jewelry shouldnt need to be checked that often, or have issues so much. Extremely rude worker. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

Michelle Braxton: The staff is very unprofessional. I have been shopping at this zales for over 5 years. I have spent thousands of dollars at this Zale, and I now regret buying all my wedding jewelry here as I need to go back every 6 months for a check-up on the diamonds. The staff they have at this location is just horrible, not willing to help, nor wanting to help when they do actually help you. Just not happy and will not be buying anything further from this location until they hire better staff.

I went to the store twice to only find it was closed during business hours! The ring I purchased along with the protection plan lost a stone within 30 days of purchase. I have to pay for it to get repaired! Pure BS... No one should have to pay for something that broke within 30 days. I will never purchase anything from this company again!

Michael Rinker: After spending a couple of hours trying to replace a watchband on my Seiko watch, my wife said to me, “Take it to Siegel, they’ll do it for free”. Well, I did and they did. No side eye or even a question about whether I purchased the watch or the band from them. The woman I spoke with on the phone even advised me to come in the next day because there was better chance of getting an available technician. Tommy the technician did the job in a few minutes. I offered to pay for the service but the young lady helping me said “no”. After badgering her a little she said I could show appreciation by writing a review. So, there you have it. Thanks Tommy and the young woman that showed me how to use the butterfly clasp once Tommy did his magic. Really, 2 hours.

Mrs Smith: Brought my ring into the store on 3/7/23. Estimated completion date 3/13/23. Never notified. Picked up the ring today, 4/6/23.

E S: Never again- do not trust Siegel Jewlers. More details below:I first dropped off my watch on November 16, 2022 to replace a cracked crystal and the movement. They took photos of the watch and sent it off to be repaired. When I received my watch back in late December, the thin layer nylon that protects the dial had begun to shred leaving a spiderweb pattern, and an eyelash was underneath the crystal. While the third party watchmaker took responsibility for the lash and fixed it, they were able to prove the dial was damaged from the jeweler storing my watch in freezing conditions for too long.In early January, Siegel tried to state the cracks in the crystal from my original photo were the same as the ruined dial. Photographic evidence of the intake and return proved otherwise.Eventually with the help of the watchmaker, Siegel owned up to their mistake. My watch had to be sent to Seattle to have the dial fixed at their expense. The timeframe estimated was 2 months.March 11, 2023 I called to check up as 2 months had passed. I was told they received the estimate but had no further details, and to expected a call back by end of day March 13, 2023. No call was received.Today, March 14, 2023 I called back and was told they never received the estimate from the jeweler in Seattle until calling them back on the 13th. I explained Friday they told me otherwise. He admitted to lying and said they forgot to response to the estimate. Now that they finally approved the estimate, it’ll take another 2 months to get my watch back.Had I not called, I never would have heard back on my watch. I recommend avoiding Siegel Jeweler’s at all cost. Once my watch is back and in the condition I originally entrusted it to them in, I will no longer have any business with this establishment.Hoping in 2 months I can post back that my watch is back in my possession and in expected condition 🤞

Jules VanHorn: I was looking for a place to get to get eternity bracelets with my daughters. Dime & Regal was one of the only places I found in GR that had this service and offered 14k gold which I wanted. They had great options for chain choices as well as price points both in gold and silver. The staff is so nice and helpful. The location is in a temporary candle company up the street from their original building, very quaint and inviting. I love my "permanent" bracelet and I'll be back for another soon! :)

The craftsmanship and quality of materials, in addition to originality, is so apparent here, plus the pieces are by women designers which is so special. The most important to mention however, is my custom designed engagement ring that my fiancé worked with the owner, Samantha, on to complete in time for a recent vacation so that he could propose. I liked the taste and variety of all the jewelry and the elegant yet casual store experience. I met the owner Samantha and she was great. Later, I was engagement ring shopping and just did not find the right one after looking at several stores around GR and Detroit. I decided to reach out to Samantha about a custom ring. She was very good from the start, guiding me through the process and working with the different ideas I had until we narrowed it down to the perfect design. It was nice working one-on-one with her, and she was the one who made the ring herself. By the time I put down a deposit to start the design renderings, I was very confident that it would come out beautifully. I had some specific ideas that she nailed, and her decisions and feedback about it all came together so well. My now-fiancé has a specific style and it could not fit her better. I think it was great as far as value too. The price was very reasonable for getting the absolute best one-of-a-kind ring for my gal. She absolutely loves it and said it's better than any of the rings she ever looked at herself. I literally could not be happier with it. Bravo, Samantha!

AlwaysHope: They have beautiful jewelry here and the employees are always so helpful and nice! I absolutely love the engagement ring and wedding band my husband picked out here. And it's worth spending the extra $ for the lifetime warranty. I get my rings cleaned every 6 months for free and they also will replace a diamond that has come loose for free also. Definitely recommend!

Tom Barnes: I bought a levian ring for my wife for her birthday sept 11 2021 they had to resize as well as her wedding rind had to resized and the point checked that hold the diamond(11,000) that I purchased there. They said by the 21st of august. Her party was the 21st(50th).the wedding ring came back sep 1not really a problem but I couldn’t pick it up. The store was never open. Kay jeweler at woodland mall in Grand Rapids mi. So now I’m waiting on the levian ring(1,200) finally shows up on sept 5th. The store has not been open and I can’t get my ring that I paid for. Contacted customer service they said a district manager would get ahold of me and let me know when I can pick it up. Still no call and no answer from customer service they said they sent it tho the service manager. My recommendation is go else where this place is the worst
