Kingma's Market: what do users think?
Shelly Krawczak: Stella from the deli department is fabulous. I called her for cocktail trays for our daughters wedding and she walked me through the entire process and made it fun! The trays were beautiful! We had many compliments on the various trays she put together for us. Kingmas uses the highest quality meats, cheeses, and fruit. So worth it!!!! They delivered-on time- professional-trustworthy-and very helpful. They took off the stress and worry during a time we really needed help. We highly recommend Kingmas!
Z Brooks: Every time I’m in the store no one seems happy or welcoming at all, today that changed. The lovely cashier who had her first day today was so welcoming and polite. Hopefully the other workers pick up that from her. Maybe it’s because I have an alternative look that people don’t care to be friendly but she was a rockstar!!
John Crankshaw: I don’t go often to this store — my Spring visit is to buy a giant pot to place at a local grave I decorate. They always have them. Inside the store you’ll find a renowned butcher case that a come to a few times during the summer for bbq meats, sausages and other goodies. They have also an olive bar and cheese case. Also nice produce and specialty packaged food items. And much, much, much more.
Kari Hicks: This place is such a gem! My fiancé and I are both foodies, and love to cook, and this is our go-to store for inspiration. As soon as you walk in you’re hit with delicious smells, and the mesmerizing wall of chocolate covered goodies, and candies. The best part is the fantastic meat counter! Friendly, outstanding service every time. Hands down, the BEST homemade breakfast sausage links around, a variety of jerky sticks, huge stuffed pork chops, and if they have the whole smoked chickens, grab one! I was also thrilled to find Cavendish & Harvey hard candies from Germany…a favorite of mine from my childhood. We also love the selection of individually wrapped buns/croissants, and cake slices from Sugar Momma’s Bakery.
Betsy Flory-McCoy: Good food and selection, high prices.
Fred R: Great neighborhood market. They have something for everyone. Surprising selection for a smaller specialty store. The quality of products is top-shelf and fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Deli and butcher counter included. Check it out.
Deena Clark: Caitlin created a beautiful wedding gift basket for me. I gave her total responsibility for the items and she did an absolutely beautiful job. 😍 Thank you.
Mark Pearson: Such a handy location in the Cheshire, Riverside Gardens to pick up top notch groceries, specialty food, butchered items, wine & beer.
Charlie Sears: Local fresh produce... What's not to love? The employees recognize regulars and say hi, which is nice!
DaVina Wearen: Reasonable prices, beautiful location, such a mix of fruits to choose from. I’m so glad I randomly found this grocery store !
Bob Flikkema: Great small box store. Always the freshest produce, a full service butcher/deli counter, bread and bakery items and a nursery in the spring!
Michael Stratton: Would be nice if they were open util at least 9. Also their prices can be a bit outrageous. But they have such a good vegan selection that I can't possibly give them less than 4 stars. Also the cashiers tend to be friendly.
Bryan Guglielmi: Great place with lots to offer. When checking out today, however, Masha asked for my ID and I'm fine with having to provide proof for age restricted items -- but Marsha did not ask the gals name in line ahead of me for her ID; just a verbal date of birth ... and she was 2 years younger than me 🤷‍♂️
David VanderVelde: Amazing beer selection. Many specialty products, fun to browse
Eric G: Top quality, friendly service. The meat market alone makes this place worth a stop.
Justin: I went here to quickly grab a head of lettuce and one tomato and left paying almost $6! The tomato wasn't fresh and the single head of basic lettuce was $5.00!!! I have NEVER paid more than $3.00 (and that's expensive) for a head of lettuce, let alone $5.00... I used to love coming here for their meat market in the back, but this is just plain getting ripped off, and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I do understand that smaller stores are typically more expensive, but paying 60-70% more for something so basic is a tad absurd. Can't say I will shop here again unfortunately.
patricia morris: Great little neighborhood store to make a quick trip. Super collection of beer and wine too. Nice meat counter.
Michael Drouillard: Friendly staff and great selection of items.
Heather Poynter: Great place to get a Thanksgiving turkey 🦃
Mary B: I LOVE this market! There is no better place to buy your meat. Special things await when you go into this great little market. You'll discover wonderful treats and great eats!
Mary Pearson: Not a spot for staples but a fantastic meat counter and deli! Great wine selection.

Urartu International Foods: what do users think?
Robert Brisbin II: Over priced not fresh products.
Mike Zenk: Only place in grand rapids to get eastern European imports
Kasha Hanners: My husband and I love this place. So many unique goodies and top quality products to try. Wish we lived closer!!!😊
Lauren Hernandez: Very nice store. They do have quality products.
Vita Malone: Great customer service, great selection , reasonable prices and high quality! Highly recommend this store!
Thomas Clock: I have had a craving for European refrigerated herring, packed in oil, for over 15 years. The place I got the last from, in NJ, doesn't ship. On a lark, searching for delis and meat shops in Grand Rapids, I made a visit to Urartu. I can't read most of the packaging, but found my herring! If you are into authentic head cheese, OMG! I am anxious to make a return trip and try more of the products. Selection seemed tops!
Jordy Hanners: Really neat place. Will be back for more. Prices are fair, very kind service, clean and organized store, high quality products, great experience!
Marina Simon: Great choice! Good quality. Excellent service. And reasonable prices. Check it out. You will not regret.
Meghan Hansen: We were visiting the area when we tried finding a store that possibly sold European foods. My husband is from Europe so we're always on the lookout. Stopped by this little shop to check it out. I'm big on customer service so was disappointed when we walked in and weren't greeted at all the whole 5 mins we were there looking around. I understand a few customers were being waited on (speaking different language) but a simple acknowledgment of "hello" would have done it. Found a few candies and few others things we would have bought. We felt a little turned off and awkward because we weren't sure if we were welcome since we didn't know the other language. As we live 1.5 hours away, doubt we will return.
Steven Skarina: Had all sorts of квас!! Just what I was looking for. Great little humble store. I wish it was bigger!! Small store but has many things you will love, I only wish that it was bigger. If I can, I will come back often!
yana Alexi: лучшее место чтобы пойти ❤️.
Jed Shane: Small, but impressive in its own right!Where else has Russian sweets, east European sausage, Red Caviar, and a friendly mom and pop explaining what each item is, and why it's good? Nowhere in conus! Yes they even have REAL Polska Kielbasa! No need to drive to Hamtramick.
E. Smith: I found Urartu through a co-worker. Now I always go in for the Marlenka. I can't get enough of it and my family always expects me to have some when I visit. Their deli has real hearty sausages and at Christmas I found some good caviar. If you want something special or try something new, this is the place.
Igor Truskov: As for me the only one minus here - the small size of the store :)I like to buy good candies, good bakery products and many other things in the Urartu store. If you want to compare these candies and the piece of junk from the big food stores you should be surprised.Anyway if you are ready to find something new - go here and buy all that you want.
Elena: Love to buy a food here , what I really missed!Thank you , Bella
VITALIK K.: Цікаві товари тут можна купити, низькі ціни.
Iskandar Jalilov: A good place to buy some European grocery items such as buckwheat, pelmeni, tvorog, kolbasa.
Alla K: Was unpleasantly surprised to learn the price difference of herring package between Urartu and Mediterranean island, being so much more at Urartu. Also, it would be great to have an itemized receipt, not just the total amount. Because I am never sure what I am paying for, on top of the fact that only some store items have prices. With barely one bag filled with foods I paid over $50 today. It can't be right...🤔🙄
Andrew Kornilov: The store is very small. They sell some Russian/Ukrainian foods there like dumplings, rye bread, heiring, honey cookies and etc.The prices are very fair. The assortment, however, gets updated very rarely, because of lack of traffic.Last time I went there, bought some rye bread, which had a little mold on it. Looked like the owner just had not taken a look.Great store overall, however, but be careful with items that are just sitting on shelves without sealed packaging like bread.
Kat Compton: They have nothing I want/need.😯
Valeriia Wiser: Descent selection of Russian, Ukrainian, Latvian goods. Birch juice had English label on it but was flavorless. Most of chocolates were good except few that were stale.Would come back again.

Schnitz Deli: what do users think?
Chase Rochon: Delicious food and truly fantastic service
Kathie MacCallum: I had the pleasure of having lunch at this great deli yesterday. I had only been once before, several years ago.I had the Schinzel Ruben, it was the best ruben I've had in years. Maybe ever. The corn beef, was amazing. It was tender and had fantastic flavor. I learned it's made in house. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🎉 🎊🤩
Rebbe Tice: Great food at decent prices! Just wish there were more kosher options. Many of the meat sandwiches come dressed with cheese, and far too much swine flesh on the menu for a deli by this name.
Sha Calah: My monthly Ruben Friday! 😺🤘😎
blaine davis: Great service fare prices and amazing food. If you are looking for a great sandwich this is your spot, you won’t be let down.
Les Raebel: Service is terrible. So far I have waited 20 minutes for my order. People who orderedafter me have been served. Never coming back. However, Betsey and Tammy did their best to make things right.
Robert Soltesz: Friendly service in a classic deli atmosphere. Soups and sandwiches are all delicious and reasonably priced.
Gramm Goyette: Best deli in grand rapids. Definitely don't short you on meat!
Martin Camp: Haven't been there for too-many years. Corned Beef sammy (St. Paddy's Day!) was very good. That's what my "5-star" is for. VERY NOISY MACHINE (fridge compressor?) in the front room was extremely annoying..... Sorry, but that NOISY MACHINE makes the place a "ZERO-Star" Dining experience however. Honestly, I don't know how the nice Staff people can stand it.
Matthew Hejna: Food and people incredible. Best sandwiches around
glen mann: Great food and the busy staff keeps up a great attitude despite the onslaught of hungry customers
Regina Howland: My grandson and myself had lunch there and the sandwiches were delicious
Austin Meyer: This place is great, the food and service is top notch. The portions are large and will leave you full and happy!
Laura Phelps: Have been going for 20 years and the food has not changed. Anytime we are in the area, they are the first place we think of to grab a bite. Great service and good food!
Kathleen Gomez: Great place for real Deli food. Fast friendly service! Best mushroom soup ever!
Felicia Wright: Excellent sandwiches
Michael Christensen: Go here and try the Reuben or pastrami. You likely see another person ordering one because they are that good.
Gabe Anzivino: Friendly staff and delicious food!
Madalyn Crawford: Best deli I have been to in GR by far. Everything we had was absolutely delicious! They don't skimp for sure. Everyone working was so kind!
Move and Shake: First time in there recently, won't be the last. Super duper friendly even while they were closing up for the day. Great soups, top tier corned beef. Top.
Kristin Grose: Great sandwiches and bakery.

Forest Hills Foods: what do users think?
Steven Ryan: Atmosphere like that cornerarket you remember as a kid but with a very diverse selection.
Keith Billing: Place has gone down hill. Soggy sandwiches wrapped in plastic instead of a nice box, no pickels. Can no longer pay at counter have to go through checkout. Sad. Used to really enjoy coming in for lunch.
Anna Moyer: Cheese guy is very knowledgeable! I see him on weekday mornings.
Ruth Davila: Nice lunch Deli selections and variety
Stuart Kocher Jr.: It's a store. The Starbucks was nice and conveniently located at the very front of the store, by the entrance. The produce section and deli looked pretty well maintained. The parking lot was clean and easy to access too.
Nancy Erickson: The BEST donuts!
RENE L.: I used to stop here every time I was close by at lunch. Their hot and cold food selection was awesome. And their Deli had a nice large variety. So no matter what I was feeling that day I could find something nutritious or a cheat day yum. I had been on a trip but remembered they had signs touting their improvements coming. So I swung in today to get some lunch. There is nothing "improved" in what they did. They eliminated 60% of their ready food stations and deli. In favor of a fancy charcuterie station and grocery store sushi. With them being a Spartan Nash store their lunch bars were the only reason I came here. But I can honestly say this is my last visit here. I wish them good luck in their new options.
Scott Bell: 1st time visit. Great selection and very helpful staff!!
Andrew Aycock: Deli Italian sandwich....best sandwich I've had in 6 years...no joke. Get it with the Italian vinegerette. Try it and comment on my review. It's that good!
Marti Alberts: We shop here often and it's always good
Jim: Great grocery store
kurlye2011: Wow what a great store! Deli has an abundance of wonderful food n snacks.Meat counter made me want to buy everything. It’s all about presentation and they have it!And the employees-Karen Biggs n Jerry were Absolutely wonderful in helping me with what I needed!
A DeBoer: I gave it a four star, because It has come a long way as the store I once knew. Some of the uglies are still around, but thats just my prejudice. They are a tad expensive, but business is business. The store is always clean, the service is really exceptional, and well informative. Always plenty of parking space all around. My favorite is the salad bar, and the lunch/dinner hot case.
Joyce Hendrickson: It good place
My Account: Friendly store for the most part, just really busy and strange layout.
LaChelle Jernigan: I love going there
Casey Rife: They have a large selection but the prices here seemed to increase MORE than they have everywhere else, unless they were already high here and I never noticed…
Guero Rodriguez: They take jarritos!!!!!!
Ed Lesiewicz: went there for the salad bar, if you like a good salad bar, it's worth the stop!!!
Lisa Martinez: What a helpful staff I was so pleased friendly and show me exactly where the item was that I needed. Thank you.

Family Fare Supermarket: what do users think?
Anthony Dufrain: Great staff. Always friendly and helpful. Installing new machines for recycling...
Toni Edson: Store isn't so large that you lost in it and usually has everything on my list.
Kelly Haddan: Employee's are very friendly and polite. Store is clean and well stocked.
Daniel Schumaker: Family Fare is always more expensive than Meijer, so you might ask, why even bother with this place? Well the staff is excellent, super nice. Jarod the cashier is always there and is always friendly. There are other staff members that have also been really friendly but I don't know them by name so I can't rep them here. Also I like their honey crisp apples much much more than Meijer over on the Beltline. 100% better quality fruit. Their chicken wings are absolutely perfect as well, much better quality than Meijer. Also believe it or not they generally have more international goods available than Meijer, which is great for me because I love cooking foreign foods. So overall I shop for some things here that are better quality or are more available, but shop at Meijer for the goods that are the same quality no matter what, because they are substantially cheaper there. Overall I do recommend shopping here, but just make sure you're hitting up a cheaper store for the bulk of your groceries and treat yourself to some better quality ingredients when you come here.
Mary Craven: The security guard greeted me with a hello and smile on my way into the store and he smiled and said thank you as I left. I appreciated his attentiveness to guests.
Cindy Tilma: The pharmacy and pharmacist at this family fare are the best
Donna Weddington: Always clean and organized.Employees very friendly
Michael Greiner: It was one thing to reduce hours during and coming out of pandemic....but we are a couple years past re-opening things. Not being 24 hours is absolutely awful for those of us who work bar industry and entertainment industry late night. We can't grocery shop anymore without interrupting our sleep-work schedules.Corporate trying to save a buck since pandemic isn't an excuse. A whole industry of people in this city can't properly grocery shop anymore because you close before we are often ready to go shopping on a day off so we feel rushed. And aren't open when we get out of work. Sleep-work schedules for lots of us aren't conducive to your preference towards 9-5 workers. I'm absolutely not the only one.I figured being patient and letting time go by since pandemic ended, we would see a return to the normal we remember and expect. Instead reduced hours happened. Please fix this. There isn't anywhere in Grand Rapids to shop between midnight and 6am anymore. And there's a large amount of people in this city working late night bar time service industry who aren't served by this.
Ann Hackney: Family fare focuses alit of their advertising on digital coupons however their machine never is working. This makes it harder on chasier who isnt always happy to look up the info. They Really need to get this fixed.
Eliza Schuller: I only go here occasionally because it’s so close to my house- like if I’m in the middle of cooking and need to grab one ingredient that I’m missing. The produce is terrible and old, food is expired, long lines, and high prices and kind of a mess all around. People are usually friendly though :)
Arlene Brandt: Friendly staff
Neil Nash: It's ok but expensive.
Business Tofu: The staff here come to work sick and coughing on the customers, how is it they care about their customers???WAY overpriced food.
Ellie Wierenga: I have gotten meat( like a roast or chicken or corned beef brisket ect.) on different occasions from Family Fare&gotten sick,I wouldn't recommend shopping there for meat or anything else. They are pricier than Meijers or Walmart
Sabrina Etcheverry: I got to this family fare often as it is the closest to me. I personally like to use the self checkout and those working at self check out are always incredibly helpful and kind. They go out of their way to help and even bag my groceries. Today I had some unfortunate technical difficulties and Jarred at self check-out was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. He went way above and beyond to make sure it all went smoothly and make sure everything rang up correctly and the rewards went in correctly, etc. He really made what could have been a frustrating experience good because of his kindness and patience. Thank you thank you Jarred. I greatly appreciate it.
Ken BSD: I like this family fare location.
John Steponski: Great selection of items Friendly staff
Melissa Choi: Disgusting produce section that hasn't been cleaned in a long time! And they have an "ethnic" section in the health & beauty area.
Shondreka Lott: I just wanted to update my review ..still 5 stars …I looked at different ways to demote you all because I like to be fair but once again the store was flawless…the darn cashier even came out and brought a bag I forgot rushing to get my kids off the bus…I appreciate her. I appreciate y’all for being a no brainer grocery stop ..I came I conquered another food run for my hungry bunch)
David VE: Moldy Fruits, expired veggies and now they close at 11. If I didn't know any better I'd think there are going out of business.
Nicole Klida-Palmer: Produce quality sucks, and poor quality Is consistent across 99% of their stores. High prices, I always feels like I spend at least 30% more on groceries here, than at meijer.

Fresh Thyme Market: what do users think?
Deidre Jourden: I started coming to this store before they did the renovations. FTM has always been my go-to store, the produce stays fresh for longer than other places, I love the hygiene and health section, and the best items to choose from plus the prices.I am eligible for EBT given I work part time & just had a baby. Today (05/08/23) was the 4th time I’ve went to check out and certain food items did not ring up as food items. The first 3 times I just shook it off and paid for an obvious mistake, it was only about $8.99 I owed. Today I owed $22 for two food items and 2 can drinks. I was in self check out & was told to go to lane 2.The cashier at lane 2, Rebekah, asked me if I wanted to pay the $22 or take them off. I reminded her that these are food items and should be covered. She said there’s nothing they can do, they can’t change it. I asked for a manager and she said “I’ll call one of them, but I don’t think there’s anything they can do.” I forgot the managers name but he was slim with dark hair. He fixed the problem and I was able to leave.Im very grateful he was able to help, but I felt extremely disrespected by the cashier. I have worked in customer service for 6 years and I have previous management positions at a grocery store and another retail store. I observed Rebekah did not want to deal with the situation.. she didn’t offer a solution and did not act appropriate in a situation where the customer may become upset. Given my previous jobs, I already knew this was a problem that could be solved. I am fed up with having to pay for the store’s mistake. If customers are allowed to make purchases using a Bridge Card, then all food items should ring up as food.I don’t know if I was treated this way because of the color of my skin, my young age, my visible tattoos, or simply because the cashier had a bad day, I will never know. I will not forget my experience here.I will miss this store. I’m not sure I will return soon, if at all. Thanks if you read this.
Rebecca Keenan: Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Prices are a little higher than other stores but it’s worth it for the ease and experience of shopping there.
jim: never had a fresher thyroid
Patricia C “Trish” Volkhardt: After seeing the item I wanted, I drove down from Sparta to shop here. I was amazed by the cleanliness, the orderly layout of store, and the stock! I need up buying far more because the prices are amazing! I will be back weekly to shop here. The staff too, are great team!
Patricia C Volkhardt: A truly clean, well organized and well stocked market that's filled with good and caring staff...the prices are amazingly low..I went out of my way to go check it out, and I needed one item. I came out with more! I will drive the extra to go back weekly 😉
Two Hoots: Great looking produce and lots of different healthy options while looking through the aisles.
Michael O'Callaghan: Great place to shop. Helpful staff. Fresh, healthy food. Great produce at fair prices. Lovely!
jose paguada: great place G I bins getting lots of new work in this area Thanks 2 our community who supports us
Kelly D: Friendly staff. Was greeted by two different staff membersand thanked for shopping by another smiling face. I love this place.
Matt S: Good selection of stuff not at Meijer, when they have stock. They're really really bad at having things in stock. It's amateur hour at best and the logistics, operations, and purchasing managers or executives should all be ashamed of themselves and should probably be fired right now. You have a few things that I really want that Meijer doesn't have but everything else is significantly more expensive than Meijer 20 to 30% more expensive. When you don't have the things that I want that Meijer doesn't have there's literally no reason for me to drive further and pay way way way more money. You need to get the stocking situation in order or there's no reason for me to ever even stop in your store.
Monica: It is always clean. They keep their ahelves stocked , the employees are helpful and welcoming. I love their fresh and organic fruits and vegetables. The selection is wide range to fit many different palates. Their salmon is awesome and fresh and it’s my go to for alkaline water by the case. Plus they are open until 10pm which os convenient for late night shoppers like myself.
Theresa johnson: It's a nice place fresh vegetables everything in there is nice and fresh some frozen fish chicken bacon
Dominic C: Ever since their redesign, there are almost no people of color working here. Maybe one. Step it up. It’s 2023
Chuck Premer: Great place to shop, nice produce section, wonderful meat counter.
Bradley Bosscher: It used to be better. The inventory is still pretty good, but the service has taken a pitfall. Checking out is a hassle now.
Paul Townsend Lamb: Organic and fresh products help you save time and effort when shopping. Self checkout speeds the process along. Nice place to shop in the neighborhood.
Titeaunka latrice Hill: First experience I loved it very Well organized and clean and the food was great I picked up for myself for dinner love I'll definitely shop again
M B: There is always a calming autmosphere. They have great products at great and fair prices. The staff are very friendly... esspecially after a long day, they are so kind. I reccomend Fresh Thyme for those who do not enjoy other chain stores; whom live a health forward lifestyle. This is really a great place to shop. Clean, helpful, great store layout, not clausterphobic, stocked well. Really a great place to do your home essential shopping; big or small. They carry a lot of quality brands, local brands, vegan brands, you can bag your own seeds, nuts, or coffee beans, they sell fish like "Barramundi", and have a comprehensive homeopathic medicine section.Oh! And there is rarely ever a line to wait in. Maybe wait on one person on a busy night, they have plenty of checkout kiosks.
dadi vranji: I will never come to this store again because it is the most expensive and besides being the most expensive I have to scan and pack everything myself because the OWNER is stingy to pay the cashiers because he is too money hungry! In the future I will go to Meijer because it is the store that every consumer wants!!!
Karina Munoz: Love this store BUT the prices on the pics are outrageous and funny at the same time.
Barb W Brown: Great selections!
