Lauren P: I wish I could give 10 stars! I can see why this place has a rare 5 star rating. To start, my husband made an appointment for me as a start to our "date day/night". He did his homework and saw so many good things about Jason and that the pricing was good here. I arrived with a lot of anxiety (I randomly get horrible anxiety) and mentioned it to Jason because I wasn't sure I even wanted to be there at that point. He was very understanding and he made sure to know what I like and don't like in regards to locations of body or anything before starting.The appointment went AMAZING and he made me so comfortable. You can tell he is a genuinely good person and wants you to enjoy your appointment. My shoulders and neck are always sore (due to stress and anxiety) and he knew exactly what to do to make it feel better and applied the perfect amount of pressure. You can tell he knows what he is doing. The atmosphere is very peaceful and inviting too. I am so glad my husband found this place. I would recommend this place to anyone! It was my best message experience I've ever had. Thank you, Jason!

Brea DeCamp: I have gone to quite a few massage therapists in Grand Rapids. My first visit at GR Massage Life was when I thought I had a really bad knot in my shoulder. Elliot worked on my back and let me know that my shoulder blade was actually out of place. I started going to the chiropractor who confirmed this issue, and I was able to get adjustments to help fix it. I have continued to see Elliot, while also going to another location out of convenience, and I have to say that Elliot is superior! She pinpoints the areas without my guidance, and she doesn’t just do a “choreographed” massage. It is specialized to the areas of concern, and the methods feel unique and effective.I’ve done my research around town and won’t be going anywhere else anymore :)

Andy Hume: I do a lot of running and have done a couple triathlons as well. Kevin does great work! He has a wealth of knowledge and happy to share it. He has helped with advice for general training needs and concerns. I have seen him a few times as I prepare for races and he has helped with muscle soreness that comes with the training as well as pointing me in the direction for at home care and maintenance to encourage a positive race experience for my body. He definitely knows how to release tight, knotted muscles!

The massage felt nice, but mainly focused on the back, the rest was comparable to putting lotion on. The gentleman masseuse put so much pressure on my lower back to where its tender to touch, even 3 days later.

I don't really recommend, especially if you want an actual massage. I had selected on my paper little to no conversation with very deep tissue.. I got all conversation with distracted light massage. She talked with her hands so not much massage was going on to begin with. It is what it is.
