Loretta Jones: Unity of Grand Rapids is a place where everyone is welcome and valued. This is a community of people committed to spiritual growth in a liberal, open setting. Instead of doctrine there is warmth and encouragement, classes in meditation and various aspects of spirituality, and joyful gatherings.

Jack Richardson: I was led to Unity of Grand Rapids by my Higher Power-as a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for almost 32 years I was looking for a church of comfort; one without dogma-driven prerequisites and that encouraged growth in an atmosphere of social acceptance and unconditional love .I found it at Unity that accepts EVERYBODY regardless of past or origin and is in complete unity and harmony with the principles of AA. I found my continued spiritual awakening at Unity and thank God for proving once more wherever I am GOD IS . .

jessica colter: I love this place. I have been coming here on and off since I was 19. The people here are very inviting and very loving. I always look forward to coming to church. If you are looking for a church to check out I definitely recommend coming to check out here. This place is not like the other churches around here. Right now they also have classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6 pm. Come check those out too. It's amazing here 🌈💕 and Sherry says hi and come on in 😁💕🌟

Tricia Bouwman: Pastor Joe is a wonderful pastor! If you want the best church experience, that's the place to go! The message lifts you, while pastor Joe makes you laugh, learn, and lean on the family. So many families help out there. When they say "Welcome home!" when you walk in, they mean it!
Tim O'Malley: I was first saved in an Assembly of God church and was a little put off by the slick and modern church and web sight. It seemed like just another "shopping mall church". However I thought the preaching was right on. The truth about tithing was shared without hesitation. We r gonna go back and have high hopes that this will b our new church home.
Kami Loucks: We found our home at New Chapel. Never have I entered a friendlier church, where people truly care to know your name and invite you in. The Pastors are personable and REAL with relatable messages week after week. Our family ranges from 10 - 47 years old and everyone loves going to church. Even my parents and aunt and uncle have joined us at New Chapel and love calling it home.So grateful the Lord lead is to this incredible church. It’s filled with joy, love and TRUTH!

Ron Kramer: My kids and grandkids go there. We went once to see our grandson water Baptised. We loved our long time home (reformed based) church but this chuch was spirit filled. The people are ALL REAL, all filled with Jesus in their hearts. After a couple more visits we whole heartedly left our long time church we really loved for this one. The Pastor is on fire and amazing. AND SO FUNNY. I've never seen a friendler church. I've learned all sorts of names in 6 weeks and they all know mine. I can't recommend it enough. I've spent more time on on one with Pastor Joe than all the years at my previous two churches.COME SEE! I have learned so much that I wanted to be Baptised AGAIN. There were 80 people there at a nearby lake as about 18 people were Baptised that afternoon.

Emily Pieri: We have been going to New Chapel since 2018 when we relocated our family back to the Grand Rapids area. We did a lot of church shopping then, and New Chapel was the only church that made us feel like "HOME". Pastor Joe preaches real, transparent, and honest messages & The community here is exactly what we were searching for. The children's ministry was the only place where my daughter, who was 2 at the time, wouldn't scream cry as we dropped her off for church. She's now 5 and she has learned so much from Sunday school & still LOVES it. In 2020 when so many churches closed their doors and pulled back, New Chapel found a way to still reach people by preaching on the roof of the church. I'm so thankful we found New Chapel & I love seeing the journey of growth the church is on.

Steven Dennis: I was shocked at how small this church was when I walked in. The pics make it look much bigger. I was told where to sit by an usher. Very uncomfortable. Why can't I sit where I want? I also find it very odd that you can only see the good reviews of this church. Why are you trying to hide? You are a church. Own up to your imperfections. Stop trying to hide them.
