MeXo Tequila & Mezcal Bar and Restaurant: what do users think?
Cassandra Vargo: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Gerri Rhein: The grub hub driver was on time with quick delivery. However the food appeared and tasted prepackaged from hours ago and microwaved. We expected elevated levels of cuisine based on the description and the prices and that was not delivered.Cold, reheated, minimal quantity and not worth the money. We will not order again or visit in person.
Gwendolyn Higby: Great food. Unique and full of flavor. The Carne asada is delicious and the mole bites are pops of flavor. The deserts are beautiful and so tasty.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Goat Cheese Churros, Mole Bites, Aztec Flourless Chocolate Torte, Carne Asada a La Tampiqueña 1939 …More

They made excellent recommendations. The actual ordering and communication was a breeze. They made us feel incredibly valued made great conversation with all of the guests. Bobby was lovely and his team were so helpful.

Olivia O'Regan: One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The service was superb, the atmosphere was calm and restorative, the quality and excellence of the food was more than I could have asked for. 5 stars simply is not enough for this dining establishment. 12/10 recommend.Dietary restrictions: So many vegetarian/vegan options!
Austin O'Regan: I’m still sitting here basking in the glory of the food. Nati was our server and her recommendations were off the charts. The Oaxacan Margarita is to die for, the carne asada was so flavorful and tender, and the pulpo ceviche was divine. Will absolutely be back.Recommended dishes Pulpo Ceviche, Carnitas, Goat Cheese Churros, Black Beans …More
Josiah Schrotenboer: I had a very pleasant dinning experience at Mexo. Our food was stellar and the service was quite good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to enjoy a Friday night dinner out.Recommended dishes Oscar's Baja Tacos …More
Ariel Westervelt: Must get the guacamole, sopa Azteca, and the Baja tacos!
Tim McAboy: We love coming to MeXo. We’ve made it a habit of getting something different and unfamiliar each time, and we’re never disappointed. My wife loves that there are so many great gluten free options. Great service, and easy to make reservations on the OpenTable app.
Jack Izenbart: Kind of overpriced, I could have gotten more seasoned Mexican food from Taco Bell.
Carissa Smith: Wonderful experience! Everything was very flavorful and delicious!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Tom Pitts: I will say this isn't a standard taco truck, it's elevated Mexican cuisine that really highlights traditional flavors and recipes. I havnt had a bad thing here, and when you say "Medium" sprice, it actually packs a little gusto! The inside of the restaurant is clean as a rule, and the bar area perfect for a lunch and a beer. Highly recommend.

Donkey Taqueria: what do users think?
Karen Pope Cannady: Tacos and beans were tasty but the guac was kind of boring. It was clearly fresh with quality ingredients, just needed a little acid and salt. Between hubby and I we tried 5 different tacos and they were all good but the pescado was my favorite. We had an issue when we were seated and didn't get service for quite some time but once she arrived our server was very nice and did a great job.
Matt Wind (Windy): Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Carnitas, Chips & Guac, Pastor, Al Pastor, Carne AsadaMore

I wall: I was excited about trying this place out. Unfortunately, we waited over and hour for our food and it was cold. Not warm just straight cold. Definitely a place for drinks, if that’s what your focus is. 5 stars for the atmosphere it was nice and laid back. Will give it a second try in the future…hopefully it was a fluke.
Tyler Rynberg: Fantastic place with great service. The tacos are all unbelievably good with fresh ingredients. Always like to come here when I visit family in GR.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Pattijean McCahill: I love Donkey overall...tacos are amazing. Super disappointed when I ordered guacamole and chips for takeout. The serving size was super small and not proportionate to the cost. I didn't buy the manager's explanation that it costs more because it was hand made!
Kelly Lynn Voss: This was not a Mexican restaurantFood: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Megan Meredith: I recently went here for lunch and it was very delicious! I am from out of town so I had been recommended this place. I have bad Fruit & Nut allergies, and also pregnant so I was a bit nervous of some of the items on the menu. Our waitress and the head chef were so kind and made sure of my allergies and were very cautious. This made me feel so much better and more confident in the restaurant. They handled it it all so well. I had modifications done and it was still all excellent! I definitely recommend this place for everybody! The vibes were great and the patio is super cute.
Priscilla Vela: Food was delicious. Great flavors.Great choices. Not the ordinary stuff.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Carne Asada, Guacamole and Chips, Chips & Guac, Carnitas, Tortilla, Lamb Tacos …More
Alan Klein: The atmosphere of their outdoor seating is really nice. The staff were super friendly. The margaritas were absolutely amazing, and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back soon.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Al Pastor …More
Jeffery Russell: To the point, the food is good and the service is OK - more staff at peak hours would be better. The thing that I liked the least was the pea gravel out in the courtyard. It makes for unlevel tables and tipsy chairs. I would, at the minimum, pour concrete pads for the tables and chairs, if not cover the whole area with concrete. As always, parking sucks on Wealthy Street, but it's doable if you exercise patience. My food picks are the Brussels sprout and the Barbacoa tacos - innovative and yummy.Parking: Wealthy Street area needs more parking in general.
Chuck Dicken: Food: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Mike Voss: Who even approved this menu?Let's take a bunch of great foods and make em weird so we can be trendy !?!?!?Seriously didn't like any part of this meal.Staffs cool af tho.
Landon Marek (Call_The_Banners): Brought my parents here while they visited for Easter weekend. They are far more critical than I and they loved this place. The tacos are of excellent quality.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Gringo Taco, Carne Asada Taco, Nachos, Al Pastor, Pork Taco, Chips & Guac, Pastor, Flautas De Pollo, Guacamole and Chips, Carne Asada, Torta De Jamon …More

blacktowerjake: I've been going there for over 20 years. Usually for a fast lunch that doesn't include fries. The dry burrito is my go to lunch favorite, but I also love the wet burrito, or tacos. Good Tex-Mex food.
Antonio Peralta: DONT COME HERE ! The food was bad, tortillas were cold, ordered steak and received ground beef, ordered chicken quesadilla and they had no chicken.... people up front left our food on the check out counter without saying a word.. they only had 3 beverage choices available. This is like a Taco Bell not authentic Mexican food.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Richard Holshoe: I grew up eating at El Sombrero. I love the food. I am disappointed that they are not open later on the weekends. This used to be a hotspot for after 12am eats. Now you’re closed at 10pm?!? Would be nice to grab a bite after a night out at a concert or event.

Sean Dine: A West Side classic, the burritos are great tasting whether you order them wet or dry! They have also reopened their dining room so you can eat inside again.
RENE L.: I was a Adobe and Taco Boy fan for year's. Usually ignored El Sombrero as I had bad experience's in the past. But this Mom & Pop AmeriMexican restaurant has grown on me.1: For the value! 2: For the taste! 3: For not gouging you on customizations! 4: For the friendly quick service! 5: The location. Right near the hustle and bustle of downtown! And conveniently a few blocks from home. LoLI would definitely recommend you give it a try. My only negative is they're closed on Sunday. Some Sundays I want a burrito 🌯 🤤!

dewey5957: I've been eating here since early 70"s, same great food and the same great family has owned this favorite West side restaurant. Best meat dry burritos in GR. Great service. RIP Marshall and Greg.
Nina Marie: I ordered a dirty Marshall or whatever it’s called with Beef today and let me tell y’all I’ve at wet burritos here before and this one right here was amazing sauce was flavorful! It was definitely cheesy and the cashier was helpful! Whoever cooked these burritos and sauce today you popped off ❤️
