Michael Surprenant: Van's Sport Center is an excellent choice to power your boat. I had Van's remove my prior 2 stroke motor and unfit a new 4 stroke Suzuki outboard and installed power steering. They were true to their word and all work and charges were competitive and in-line with their estimate when it came time to pay the invoice. Drew J delivers excellent customer service, knows his product, and makes excellent recommendations without over selling or being pushy. They completed the work on time and in good order. The boat was clean and ready for travel, I was coached up on the motor break in requires and invited to reach back if there were any questions or concerns. Clearly a great choice and earned a 5 star rating.
Camden Smith: Bought a used outboard here last year and had a great experience. The staff were very helpful in making good recommendations and not trying to just upsell me. After a year of use it still runs just as good if not better than a new outboard. Decent price too just a tad more than you would pay on Craigslist.
kwheelz 55: Recently had vans do repower on my 87 starcraft. They did a fantastic job, removed the old outboard rigged the new outboard and installed power steering. Their work is very clean and they had a quick turn around time. Also when I called they actually answer the phone. Great shop with lots of knowledge on outboards and boats. Drew in sales is awesome to work with. Great place I would highly recommend

Was told "I haven't got a single ladder in my store" we looked around for other things as well and found 6 of them. SIX LADDERS-STORE SAID THEY HAVE ZERO. Fast forward to purchasing one, the guy told me it was probably not going to work and still tried to talk me out of it (although I pre-measured my boat and knew it would work, and does) west Marine may have a nice selection of stuff but their staff could really use some better training in customer support and knowledge of the things they have in the store. Doesn't sit well when I'm told they have "not one ladder in the store" yet we find 6. SIX. And then am badgered by the same guy saying it won't work when he originally that said they have zero.
Carl Vander Bee: I was originally heading to Harbor Freight for some electrical connectors but on the way notice West Marine and stopped in. Turns out they had exactly what I was looking for. Small connectors and red and black 14 gauge solid wire.

Steve Marsman: I've had a great experience with Tommy's from the beginning with my sales rep, through our first year with our new toy. Buying a used boat can be frustrating at times with getting some issues worked out, but I have to say that the staff at Tommy's was very genuine when it came to their willingness to help as fast as they could and get us back out on the water. In my world, communication is key. Tommy's staff seems to do this well. I would give credit to the whole staff, from management, to sales, the pro shop, and of course service. Very easy to work with and they don't treat you like you are just one of many customers. They treat you with care.

Ivan Valentin: The shop is great for anything that has to do with hunting and fishing. I went in today and it's been a while since I visited the store and all the fly fishing stuff that I go for has gone from a great selection to merely nothing. The new staff are horrible, asked for an item and he just stood like if I wasn't there. The other two were dancing which I totally avoided asking them for anything. This store is a joke and I wish it went back to having a greater fly tying materials selection and staff who are willing to serve customer no matter what.
