Brett Zeerip: I'm writing this on behalf of my wife. She had surgery there yesterday and is in extreme pain. They asked which pharmacy we would like the pain medication sent to. We left surgery yesterday to find out that is was never sent to Walgreen's. Left several messages (which is very common as well( throughout the scheduling process. Finally, received a call from the support toady at 1pm explaining that it could take 24-48 hours to fill the prescription?? Even after explaining that Walgreens had not received any requests. The support staff is very rude and combative. Have you ever heard of having any type of procedure that creates major pain to not get you medication immediately after the visit? They explain that it is common?First review i've written in my 55 years. I've noticed from the other reviews that they only respond to 5 star reviews. Sorry MIchigan Pain Consultants on East Paris you need some management restructuring. ZERO OUT OF FIVE. As my wife lays here in pain... crying herself to sleep last night Thanks again

Sharon K: Update 12/2022 I am still seeing Dr Willard and still give him five stars!! I am a senior and have had seven cervical and lumbar fusions with hardware and a knee replacement and three hand surgeries. I really like this pain clinic . I have gone to many over the years and I have always preferred a doctor who listens and is honest. Dr Willard is and his staff is very good and very nice. I waited a lot less then I thought I would have to.

Oliver Hoppe: If I could rate them zero stars, I would. Avoid this place. They won’t help you and then might not bill your insurance. They suggested I try medical marijuana for my chronic pain. I told them that I was in college to get a federal job and that medicinal marijuana would disqualify me from future employment. They basically told me there were no other options for treatment except to go somewhere else for another round of physical therapy. I had already done 10 weeks of it before seeing these useless people because the PT didn’t help. Now, they are refusing to bill my insurance because of a name change I had while seeing them. It’s not even my name as the primary policyholder. So, they rather accept $10 a month for 29 months than bill the insurance I have that would fully cover the bill. That’s garbage service and shows how you’re more about money than about compassion. I filed a BBB complaint and will continue to send communications until they bill my insurance and refund they payments I’ve already made.

Sher Vee: I have been a patient here for over 6 years now. After having experienced a different pain clinic and their disfunction before coming here, I know couldn't have made a better decision. I don't want to go anywhere else or to be seen by anyone else. I first saw Dr. Mankoff and after he retired decided to give Dr. Powell a fair try and couldn't be happier. As with any medical office they have rules that you must follow,especially if you are prescribed narcotics. That shouldn't be a surprise, it should be expected. Sometimes they are late getting to me and I might spend more time in the office than normal, but everyone is doing their best and 99.99% of the time in top of things. We are all human and it would not be fair to expect 100% each and every time. I know I'm not always able to give that. After having decided to move south because of my condition, I can say that it has been because of Dr. Powell and the staff that I have stayed for the past few years even though I've known it was always better for my health not to. With that I just want to say, if you can find a provider and staff that make you feel that cared for, keep them for as long as possible because it's such a rare thing to have these days. And remember, everyone is human!

Joseph Belonga: the slowest Dr office in the free world. Nurses and security act like there the Doctors and there opinions have weight and when you ask them what there doing by acting like a doctor they give you all kind of attitude, not professional people in the front office, if I could give no stars I would.

I've found each person there, Dr's., receptionists, nurses, all to be respectful, caring and willing to work with you. Dr Lewis is a compassionate professional, who is quick to respond to my challenges. And gives great hugs too!

Rueben Vangleason: Years ago had hip implant surgery. The doctor that we normally see was sympathetic and very professional and nice , concerning my chronic pain in my hip.We started seeing this office back in 2014. Everything was fine until today. We did a follow up twice yearly appointment with a PA. She was well enough I guess. Her nurse that followed her however was condescending, accusatory, to the point of belittling. All with a smile of course. Because I ask for some extra medicine called tramadol that did not used to be a narcotic but now apparently is. I was barbecued about taking drug tests and having returned visits to make sure of how many pills I had in the bottle etc etc. Treated as a drug seeking person at almost 60 years old. After driving through holiday traffic, construction ,and then to be treated as being scolded as a school child will never happen again. Did I mention the doctor was at least a full hour behind? And we have the pleasure of paying to be humiliated in a derogatory manner? I would love to give you a more apt description but unfortunately I happen to be a Christian.Avoid this place if you can.

Tonnie Brooks: Doctor Lewis and Deb Hunter Are so good to their patients,They really dive in to find out what's causing the pain and how to manage it so you can get through life as best as you possibly can.They have given me the best quality of life I can have with my children and grandchildren and I thank u so much for that!

Marie Rotman: Go somewhere else if possible. Staff ranging from scheduling to nurses and doctors are extremely condescending and rude. The Nurse triage dodged my phone calls for over a week. Had to call and leave a message for the office manager to finally get a response back. Waited over a week for MRI results, One nurse advised to check back in daily. Then when the results were in, they said they don't do results over the phone and results would be discussed at my next appointment which was not scheduled until 3 months out. Refused to help with pain because it wasn't a life or death matter.

A McCarty: It took awhile to get the source(s) of my pain pinpointed (no pun intended), but Dr. Kozfkay persisted and now my treatments have become effective and routine. He and his medical staff are always friendly and professional. Please be patient with the office staff. They’re probably understaffed like everywhere else these days. Kindness is as kindness does.

Tammy Swanson: I have been a patient since1980. I have always been treated with respect and kindness. The staff work hard to get me the help I need if my back goes out or I get a persistent migraine. I always recommend mpc to anyone who has chronic pain. My fibromyalgia and back are so much better than when I first came .

By Sunday they had no record of his prescription. Of course, no one was available. Left messages. It's now Monday, 12:30, still haven't heard anything. Lisa Lyons: I did receive good medical care, no complaints there. Unfortunately, the treatments didn’t resolve my pain and I accumulated a large bill. I set up a payment plan with Tanya in the billing department to pay $100 per month. She continually embarrassed me in the lobby for everyone to hear that due to my increasing balance, she wasn’t going to allow me to have any more treatments and that I needed to re-evaluate my finances because I wasn’t paying enough each month. I certainly don’t think she is a physician or can determine whether I can receive care from this office. Unacceptable, I have never been so humiliated.

I’ve had lower back issues that led to two Fusion surgery’s and I’m also getting injections in my neck for pain , trust me the grass is greenest at Javery’s pain !!! Annie Brubaker: edit: they dropped me as a patient of about 10 years due to billing issues. After setting up monthly payments I got informed by the PA that my appointment would be my last. I’m very disappointed and truly thought they would work with me. I do not recommend wasting your money at this clinic. They will rack up your bill SO high with expensive but not always successful procedures, promising payments could be made, then drop you when you can’t pay it entirely.

Adrianne Rivera: HORRIBLE, because the dr lies. (New patient here) He told me he didn’t feel comfortable continuing my medication I’ve been taking for years (from previous dr’s) because I had an abnormality in liver, and said to get a blood test to make sure it can handle medication, and if it comes back ok I can have my medicine. I didn’t hear back after almost a week so I called them, and they said the test came back good, but now he wants blood work done for kidneys and something else, too make sure it’s still safe to give me the medicine I’ve been taking for years. So I’m doing all this without medicine, driving around and trying do get this all done quickly so I can get relief from my horrible pain. I’ve held out as he strung me along, living on my sofa holding out hope my tests are ok, and soon I’ll get help. My first appt was feb. 28, now on march 16 the nurse told me he said since I haven’t had medicine for this long he decided not to give it to me. (EVEN THOUGH THESE TESTS CAME BACK GOOD ALSO) If he would have just been honest in the first appt I could have found another dr and no harm done, but instead he LIED, let me stay in pain all this time, and now I have to start over to find a place who’ll treat me AND BE HONEST WITH ME. You have to find a place where you trust the dr. And Dr Javery has no compassion, at least he doesn’t when it came to me. If need a dr who does have compassion and is honest, this isn’t the place..

Cheryl Butler: When I told them my pain level was a 10 they refused pain meds. When I wanted to see Dr Javery they said he was booking 4 months out. All Dr Javery wants to do is as many injections in a day possible. I saw him for 10 years and injections stopped working I was in excruciating pain. They kicked me out of the practice because I let them know they weren't alleviating my pain. I go to an excellent pain clinic now. The doctor actually sees you at EVERY visit and they believe you have pain and they treat you. THANK YOU JAVERY FOR DISMISSING ME I am getting the compassionate care I deser

Ashley Murphy: The care and compassion of the providers at Javery Pain institute is absolutely atrocious never before have I seen an elderly woman so mistreated when it comes to medical care. As a fellow health professional I strongly recommend you do not take your loved ones to that practice not only was the care questionable at best they had no precautions in place for COVID 19 their staff were not even doing their part by wearing masks to protect patients in light of the current surge in cases around West Michigan this again reflects on their lack of concern for their patients well being

Kate H: This clinic is the absolute worse! The doctor is too lazy to fill out the handicap requirements for the Secretary of State office, but they tell you they recognize your loved one still needs injections for their disability. They pad their billing, but don't have the documentation to support so the insurance company won't pay. Then they expect you to pay out of pocket. Meanwhile the NP ( The most VILE), spends less than 5 minutes and doesn't even examine your loved one!! The PA is just as poor a clinician, but a little nicer as she pads the bill for more time than really spent with the patient! Then they tell you to make an appointment with your family doctor to get your paperwork done because they "don't do that here". Go some place, any place but here!!

Shelly Andrade: They were amazing with my sister who was battling horrific pain because cancer had ripped through her spine. Her oncologist was no help when we'd ask him about other ways to help her uncontrollable pain so we researched other alternatives and thankfully ended up at Javery. He and his staff stayed afterwards to help her that night and words can't express how much it changed her quality of life. She was ready to call it quits, i mean really ready, and they knew exactly how to help her. Her spine had already collapsed in 8 locations due to the cancer. I can't say enough good things about them and am so grateful for their help.

I have tried several pain clinics over the years and Javery is by far the best. A doctor I will never leave way to good at what they do. If you are looking for a pain clinic you can't do any better.

Anna Tobias-Rybiski: Being a young woman experiencing chronic pain being referred to Dr Javery was the worst decision I ever agreed to, to be put in a position to be demoralized and ignored was humiliating. The fact that every doctor I saw ignored my concerns because I'm a seemingly young healthy adult. The truth is that every medical professional that I saw ignored my pain and suffering and wanted to act as if it was not their problem. I'm a serious suicide attempt survivor with serious medical problems 14 years later that have been ignored and left untreated because as Dr javery stated "there's no test for widespread pain". Their practice is inhumane and a disgrace because the bias towards young woman with chronic pain is almost imaginary in the eyes of a professionals. I've sought help for chronic pain and issues for the last 7 years only to be turned away by every doctor. In my opinion the javery Institute would rather push people closer and closer to ending their suffering then ever trying to help them.

Judi Siegert: Dr. Javery is extremely attentive and thorough in his assessment and treatment planning. The follow up appointments with NP Heather Metz are equally thorough. They care for their patients’ outcomes. You aren’t just a number there. Sometimes you have to wait longer than acceptable once you’re in a treatment room, but that is because they are taking time to give good care for someone else. I can wait!
