St. Alphonsus Parish Community: what do users think?
Steve Grody: Visited there several times. The church is beautiful inside, but it is filled with people addicted to religion, not truth.
Mr. Skeltal: i really loved the pancake breakfast!
Patty Skrycki: Wonderful fish on Fridays during Lent! They serve Walleye, which is different than others. Plan on getting there early and waiting in line. Very tasty and you will be full. Please support the Clubs and Churches during events like this! Pollack is wonderful as well and you will always enjoy it!
Seth Petra: One of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen, a text book example of how the insides of churches should look (minus the modernist revisions). I can't help but wonder what it would've looked like with its original high altar and would give my left kneecap to witness a Latin mass here.
Riley Hale: Very beautiful church.
Michael nethercott: Very beautiful church
Theresa Powers: Beautiful church and people 😊
Beth Rossiter: they have The best Lenten fish fry. even though it was take-out only, the wait time wasn't any longer than past years for dine in, and the Walleye was still hot and delicious when I got home to enjoy it :) only one Friday left this year- don't miss it!
Randall Jacob: Friendly and helpful to the community with food clothing and outreach services
Herman Faceson: Okay!
Chuck Riccioni: Nice church....beautiful service.
nikki boss: Nice
Gail Garcia-Smith: Tried to make a tax appointment with them but they were not helpful.
Colonial Tinker: This is a beautiful parish. The couple of masses I visited are great. Very welcoming community. Love to attend mass more.
Larry Ritzke: A very Beautiful church and very friendly with lots of programs.
Beth VanSlyke: Love this ornate, older Catholic Church on Leonard street in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Thomas johnson: This is my home Parish, I love it!!!
Tom Gibson: Beautiful church! The priest was hilarious.
Ryan: Beautiful church for our wedding. Fr. Chung did a great job. They were welcoming of a marriage between a Catholic and non-Catholic when lots of other Churches were very dismissive.
Marilyn Perski: Tax preparation.
Kelson Glashower: Beautiful tall ceilings with heavenly angels. Definitely a sight to see, but more importantly congregation and father continue to be welcoming community centered.

Sacred Heart of Jesus Church: what do users think?
Petr Kovarik: A gem of the West Side!
Patrick Cook: GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE. BEAUTIFUL AND REVERENT
Patti Wiktorowski: Traditionally catholic and reverent.
Matthew Asselin: Because church and they hold Latin mass here as well!
Mary Wendt: Beautiful church felt very welcome
Marymargaret Wendt: Short on parkingBeautiful church Beautiful people
Stephanie Fite: The blessings that Sacred Heart of Jesus parish has brought to my family have been life-changing! The beauty of this church ⛪️ inside and out is so fulfilling.
Johnny Garza: I love my church and the faith of the Catholics are beyond beautiful.
MyKey K™: ✝️⛪️ Peace be with your Spirit 🕊✝️WE MISS OUR BELOVED FATHER DON✝️ Do Not Fear❣️ HALLELUJAH is our song❣️ AMEN❣️: ) ) IXOYE
Thomas Laurence: Absolutely beautiful liturgy. Love attending this parish!
Megan Rademacher: I have been working all week, Monday-Friday. I usually love melodic church bells, find them calming and all. But since I've moved into this neighborhood, your church bells have absolutely driven me nuts. It's the one day that I can actually sleep in, and it seems to last FOREVER, and is unavoidable to have to listen to. It would be nice if u could keep it to a minimum, or at the very least play an actual song....this is becoming excessive, and my neighbors feel the same way...thanks.
Ethan Bowles: What in the world was that ruckus, early Saturday morning at a random time 12:28, then continued for 17-20 minutes. There was no melody of any sort. It sounded like Quasimodo the deformed bell ringer of Nortre Dame was stuck up in you bell tower. Absolutely obnoxious. At the very least you could play a simple hymn. Please respect the surrounding neighborhood a Lil more than that.
Larry Smith: Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish is a very holy and reverent Roman Catholic Church. The Parish lead by Fr. Ron is true to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, guided in it's mission of saving souls and guiding all to heaven to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father.....
Becky McClelland: The Latin Mass is Exquisite!
Matthew Allen: Fantastic church, very beautiful. Inside has multiple pews for sitting with padded kneelers. Stations of the cross are well positioned and the stained glass is pretty. Traditional mass was beautiful and it was awe inspiring to see the whole congregation, students and parents/teachers showing their utmost reverence is beautiful. My wife and I were blown away and want our children, when we have em, to come here they have all grades next store. Will make this a regularish stop, it is 60 minutes away from where we are ataying though.
Frank D DiMatteo: I was visiting Grand Rapids, and attended Mass here, on Sunday while I was in town. My experience was that this Catholic community is alive in God, and is thriving! The church was filled with parents and their children! They all participated in responsorial song, some in Latin. Communion is received at the rail, on ones knees, and on the tongue. The priest faces east during the Mass and leads the church in prayer in making the sacrifice to Jesus. Fantastic experience. A fine example of Faith in action.
Michael nethercott: Beautiful church
Jonah Morin: The greatest parish in Grand Rapids that I’ve seen. Amazing community, quality priests, special reverence in tradition, everything I’m looking for in a home parish.
Alan Mader: Wonderful church.
Gaby Soriano: I love to attend Latin mass
DeAnne DeHaan: Love the Beauty of the Church. The service was great, unfortunately it was a funeral for my 28 year old nephew :-(

St. Mary Catholic Church: what do users think?
Denny B: Beautiful Glass! Family Church.
C B: Would Jesus want you charging for parking spots, or do you think maybe he’d consider that unethical?
Mark Robinson: Was there for my neices wedding, really helpfull and friendly staff
Liz Krupa: This was was my church growing up and is still one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. To correct one of the reviews- this church was built by GERMAN immigrants, not Polish. My German mother must be rolling over in her grave. St Adelbert is the Polish church
Frederick Jost (Fred): Friendly, clean, awesome community.
Tim Beeler: Another place to help out with food twice a month too .
Laura Slade: Beautiful.
Al Costello: This church was absolutely amazing. I went here for a wedding two weeks ago. The inside is just gorgeous. I would have gotten pictures but…again…wedding. The only issue was there is no good A/C system in the building, but that’s easy to look past when looking dead center at the alter. The mosaics and representations of our Saints and Savior really make it all the more better.
dnznzn fjsnsnsms: Gorgeous church but no Mass is said thereJust the Novus Ordo. The liturgy does not match the beauty within its walls. Someday hopefully that will change but for now would recommend you pass this one by unless you want to feel the sadness of a glorious sanctuary being interrupted with the images and words of a Lutheran service trapped in the 70s.
Justin Costa: Ash Wednesday for me. There in Grand Rapids on my travels. Pretty church.
Enzo T: How a Catholic church should be; Absolutely beautiful!
Eduardo Sanchez: Una pregunta a que horas empieza la misa
Candice Fleszar-Smith: Beautiful church with a great history. Built in 1857, it's one of the oldest churches in Grand Rapids, built by the Polish community. It has a well-known pipe organ from Skinner Organ Company with 1,476 Dulciana pipes. I'm looking forward to sharing this wonderful building and its history on my #ToursAroundMichigan #ChurchTour! #ExperienceGR #PureMichigan
Memphis Rosales: Love this Church. People are kind and respectful to one other. It's a good-looking church and is one of my favorites.
robert schutt III: Beautiful church.
Karyn Switzer: Three people of the church are very caring
margarita ilagorre: Me da paz y esperansa
Robert Bianchi: First time there. It's gorgeous in there.
Jannet Zuno: Service is nice
Judy Kurylowicz: My church
Selina Tululsac: I love it

Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit: what do users think?
Ted Ryfiak: Father Mark Peacock is the best.
Angela Sherman: Great childcare very clean place
Kelly Stof: Welcoming congregation, Father Mark is just great. God is here. What more can you ask? 🤷🏼‍♀️😂
phillip nicholson: This church has a lot to offer...a sincere and l loving priest, inspired music, and a beautiful sanctuary. Like any church, if you're looking to become part of the family, join one of the many program offerings. You'll find a tremendous amount of caring and considerate people lovingly serving others.
Susan Schulz: My husband and I had just. Moved here to Grand Rapids! We had intended to explore many parishes before deciding on a parish to call our own! Our first parish we visited was Holy Spirit! Hands down we knew this was where we wanted to be!!! You can’t beat Fr. Marks homilies
denise eschmann: Ok
Mary Nawara: I am a former parishoner. My children and grandchildren live in the area now. I just attended Easter Mass today. I am sadly disappointed in the music I heard. It was so loud it actually hurt my ears. I felt like I was at Phantom of the Opera instead of a Christian Mass. I love to sing but could not and did not see anyone else sing.
Shane Slack: I recently started going to Catholic church. Late start but I'm glad to have found faith. I'm home visiting family from where I now live and started going to church. I came here in Easter and it was packed. Everyone was very welcoming. Good experience. The visit filled my soul. Praise be to God.
Chuck Riccioni: Fr. Mark Peacock is super. Services stellar.
Bob Click: A+
Annie Schmieder: Father Mark, YOU ROCK! 🎵
Beth Ann Larsen Pobojewski: I moved to Walker a year ago. I had many options for a new Catholic parish. When I came to Holy Spirit, I knew that God guided me to my new parish family. I was quickly welcomed as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. I love being a part of my church community. Thank you Father Mark for your impactful homilies! You always give me a Christian focus for my week. I hope to get to know more people here as I am single and from Ludington with no family or friends in the area. I'm faithful that God will continue to bless me with a wonderful faith filled family here!
Nancy Blahnik: Was there to attend a meeting, building had a mask & hand sanitizer available
Frances Foley: Have pews that do not require kneeling.
Beth P: Very wonderful to meet the priest and be welcomed on your first visit to my new parish! Thank you Father Mark! ✝️
Don Passenger: Welcoming place.
Michael Suarez: Enjoyed my church away from church!
SKat Foster: Attended a funeral here. Nice church, attached school hosted the lunch afterwards. A bit confusing for newcomers on arrival with interconnected parking lots surrounding a cluster of interconnected buildings including a church which seemed to have multiple entrances. But hey, no wrong door!.Staff and students were very helpful. They even had kids posted along the way to point out the turns when everyone went from church to luncheon room..
Timothy Woller: Friendly welcoming service
Joe Marusak: Beautiful facilities.
Mary Venhuizen: Great sermon

Immaculate Heart of Mary Church: what do users think?
Kelly Houghtaling: This is our home parish, and we love Fr Troy.
Daniel S: The church has a catholic name but inside it looks more like an Anglican or Lutheran church.During Communion one priest and more lay people give out the eucharist to everyone in the hand. Good luck trying to kneel in front of the priest if that is your desire.
Christopher Beams: Wonderful church with an amazing priest in Father Troy... a really down-to-earth, wise and, seriously, a hilarious guy to boot. We feel truly blessed that we discovered IHM (and the incredible school, as well, for our kids) and have become a better family as a result. Thank you IHM!
Samantha Lynn: Beyond grateful to the church for the wonderful service and care they provided during our loved ones funeral.
John Skowronski: Beautiful church and grounds.
Jacob Laskowski: Great adoration chapel for quiet prayer time and reflection.
Betsy Eardley: A great place to praise God!
Denise Crapse: I went as a guest to a baptism...I found the service very interesting...
Pat Schemmel: Fr. Troy is a great preacher. Really brings the readings home.
John MacKenzie II: Immaculate Heart of Mary is a beautiful school and parish. Father Troy challenges us, as a good priest does, and is not judgemental about it. In his homilies he makes sure to speak to the true teachings of the Catholic Church and uses language that includes himself when speaking about how we're called to live as Catholics and Christians. Our children love attending the K-8 school and we really feel as though they stay true to the phrase, "Disciples then diplomas". They have a Theology of the Body Curriculum and everything is Christ centered. The community is amazing to be part of. If anyone ever needs anything the Church wraps Her arms around them. In our 10 years as parishioners we have seen so many instances of support and community that we cannot count them. Lastly, but not least, there is a 24 hour 5 days a week Adoration Chapel where you can be in the true presence of Christ.
James Luke: The Religion Jesus Christ founded!
Karen Weber: Dynamic Catholicism going on here! Blest place!
Deborah Shumard: Great Parish and School with good old fashion values and morals.
Megan Welsh: This church is an amazing place to worship. With lots of support from the entire parish. They provide great fundraisers for both the school and church it's a wonderful place full of wonderful people.
Joanne Heidenreich: Fr Troy is an inspiration and a challenger and his perseverance as a devote priest is nothing less than a gift from God Our Fater!!!
Jess Reidt: I grew up in this church and the Priest is wonderful!
Steven T: Warm, friendly parish while still maintaining a strong drive to living a Catholic life.
george haas: Went there for a funeral. It was a very nice church. The reception after the service was very well done as well.
Karen deLopez: Good service, decent choir, temperature cooler than I like to be comfortable.

St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church: what do users think?
John Snow: My aunt Margaret Snow Funeral was done very well Love in Christ
Hank Henry: This religious school is suppose to teach children not only basic education but also morals and not to discriminate. But it really does just the opposite buy allowing one student to monopolise all the first readings, art prizes(which he didn't win),carrying the flag during Catholic songfest week and much more, thus not allowing other children to participate and not making events equal. This isn't just one or two local incidents. Its been going on for years, like 6 or more. Everyone knows how this one boy is favoured and they are just as upset as me. Is it possible that the parents of this boy and giving large donations to the church in exchange for favouritism. This school needs to stop being prejudice and make things equal to all children. Go to a public school where things are done fair and your child/children will get a better education.
Lisa Tohey: St. Anthony church has been a very positive and instrumental part of my faith life for the past 20+ years. Father Mark is very welcoming and makes everyone feel like family! Both of my children attend the school and my husband and I are very impressed with the academics and the faith based learning our children are receiving. If you are considering this school for your children I would highly recommend!
gerardo solis ramirez: Muy bonita arquitectura en el edificio de la iglesia....
Nancy Prangley: A very vibrant and spiritual community. Father Mark is a treasure who shepards his people in authentic Catholic faith formation....not always the easy path.May God continue to bless this Parish abundantly.
Haley Pelton: It is an awesome school
Scott Pelak: Great choir!
Alvin Kershner: Great all are welcome Catholic community.
Anna Heinze: Very informative!
cirilo esparza: Good to all non Catholic and Catholic
Jeremy Day: I thought Catholics taught that you should treat others as you would want to be treated. Apparently not so here. Three parishioners thought like ruining the safety of all cyclists on Richmond St because they didn't know how or where to park. Instead of doing the right thing and paying the citation, they whined and whined until they had an inside source with the city have the bike lane removed. How Christian of them. St Anthony's gives Catholics a bad name. I would be ashamed to be with this parish.

Denny B: EMANUEL.
Joseph Kadzban: An excellent place to worship.
Becci Schumaker: We did reading between the lions and helped almost 50 children
Cool Dito: Watched church members trying to hang political banners from the overpass across the street, disgusting
Zer0 Dark: Just going to leave this here since this church has such a strong "Moral Conviction" on Political issues .The majority of accused priests in the United States (55.7%) had one formal allegation of abuse made against them, 26.4% had two or three allegations, 17.8% had four to nine allegations, and 3.5% had ten or more allegations."[5] A major aggravating factor was the actions of Catholic bishops to keep these crimes secret and to reassign the accused to other parishes in positions where they had continued unsupervised contact with youth.
Joseph Mackeller: Beautiful church and the people amazing!
Ralph Hall: GR Greek fest!
Fr. Bonifasio SENTEZA: Wonderful Parish away from home. Uganda is thousands of miles away but t Isidore I feel home. Thank you Msgr..Ed and Diane
