Lisa DeGraaf: I bought a Kaweco Sport and it was so nice to be able to hold it before I bought it. Plus, they were happy to let me hold a few other fountain pens that I was curious about. They were very knowledgeable and it is so cool to have a place to buy fountain pens in person. I will definitely be back, just don't tell my husband 🤫.

Jennifer Laramie: I was doing a mailing job and my paper folder malfunctioned. I called around to local businesses to see if they could help. Different places could, however, not in the time frame I needed. When I called Staples Laura worked with myself and the managers Brant and DeMarco to price match a local competitor while Ethan did a great job folding the paperwork I submitted. Great teamwork and customer service in a company. Thank you again!
Noah Paris: Extremely poor customer service. I had to ask a cashier for help and take them away from being a cashier because they don’t want to staff any employees for the floor or have a manager be on the floor.Corporations nowadays just expect everything to work like a Walmart you walk in no one helps you and there’s no expectation for customer service. It’s just good luck. It’s probably done one of the 12 isles.And they wonder why Amazon is killing all of these places

DeeForeverr: Really disappointed in the print department. It’s been several days to receive my “same day business cards”. I placed an order and the next day they emailed me at 8:30PM regarding my order that I should have been able to pick up that day. I sent them the requested documents. When I went to pick up my order the next morning I arrived an hour later than anticipated and they still didn’t have my order ready. Instead of printing my cards and getting my order ready he told me to return in “a few hours” I needed my order same day..days ago. I still haven’t received it.
W Franklin.: The prices at this Staples are ridiculously expensive. I tried to scan and email 125 pages to myself and they attempted to charge me 80.00. To email, not print. I could buy a scanner for that price. If you respond to reviews please justify that cost. No ink, no paper. Just emailing docs on a worn out used copier. How could this possibly cost more than 10-15 dollars. Here is the total amount of papers to be scanned.
taryn frey: I've been a loyal Staples customer and am very disappointed that they will not stand behind their products for more than 14 days. I purchased a keyboard/mouse combo for when I occasionally work from home. I have used it twice & the mouse won't work anymore. Staples won't return or refund the product.

Gordon Greer: Keegan helped me with my laptop issue, and was friendly and considerate. When I needed to come back to get more help later that day concerning an issue that was not his fault, he saw me and came over to help me successfully resolve this second problem, even though he was clearly on his way out the door at the end of his shift. Customer service is alive and well in some parts.

Brendan Vincent: It’s not their fault, but there were only about four employees in the whole store. And on a busy Saturday there were about ten times the number of customers. I couldn’t find what I needed, and the line took forever. I purchased what I needed online. I understand this is a tricky balance for physical stores right now but this was a frustrating experience.
Tim Pratt: While signs on door at entry speak of precautions taken in light of COVID-19 several Staples associates were not wearing masks and one without mask approached us not maintaining social distance. Guess requirements were for shoppers only.

Kellan: I really enjoy this establishment. They sell a wide variety of wares for the beginner to the expert artist, and have a price point for each. The only issue that I have with this shop is that I can never go because of the hours.This shop obviously never caters to the working masses since the latest they are ever open is until 5:30p.m. So, here I sit, unable to buy anything at my local art shop because they're consistently closed at the usual time in which anyone is able to get out of work.Now, I don't want to have a business make decisions based off of just a sole individual, but just ONE day in which they are open until 6:30 would be the most amazing thing that this place could do.

I give it a four out of five because the store is basic, I wish it was more ‘inspired’. I previously lived close to an art store that always inspired and had me wanting to explore new mediums-at this store I walk in, get what’s on my list and walk out. Customer service is always great.

But they do have some decent deals as well. Mostly a lot of scrapbook stuff. Was disappointed that I couldn’t use a gift certificate & debit card at the same time. My order was more than my gift certificate covered and they made me pay all of it on my debit card. I’ll probably come back just to use the certificate but I don’t think I’ll be coming back very often after that.

I love supporting local businesses, but even the vibe was off. I walked in and smiled, yet no one looked up to welcome me. I walked around for a while and still, no one offered any type of assistance. I was let down by my experience here at the Craft Outlet on Buchanan.
