Cody: Nice location. The hours are funky, they are often understaffed, but the tables are more well kept than the Wyoming location. The food is pretty good, considering it's one cook who I've seen there each time I've been there. She seems to take care in the food she makes for customers. Other staff seem relatively friendly. Only issue is the lack of staffing on busier nights. Two workers is not enough to wait on 50-60 people, which is the tournament crowd some nights. Hence the 4/5 review.

I believe 9 Diamond bar box tables & The rest were dynamo or valley bar box tables.From my opinion the equipment were kept in decent condition. I didn’t get a chance to play on a diamond. But from afar they look great.I would definitely come back and play here if I’m ever in town again

Ronald Pease: Wow! This place has changed! Definitely upscale from before. The new owners have remodeled the bar completely! The liquor selection is larger and more thought out. They have drink specials still but now you have more options for sure. The tables are very well maintained to a professional level. They added food and have a menu that is always changing based on the needs and wants of their customers. Like I said before... This is not the same place it was before COVID, That is for sure!

Bill Filipiak: I live in Illinois and have a summer place in Michigan. I heard about Eastside Billiards from a few friends and wanted to see it for myself. This is an hour and a half drive from the lake house! We messaged the owner on their FB page and he agreed to let us in early because of the distance we were traveling just to play there. Great guy and great place! If you like playing on Diamonds this is the place for you. My friend and I will be returning for more as soon as we can. I highly recommend this place!

Cristal Hartsell: Closterphobic. The lowered ceiling over the pool table is horrible.
Charles Tisron: Had an okay time. Went for my wife's birthday. Band was okay I guess, not even close to the bar bands of my youth "like the band Oz" from the eighties. The band was plenty loud though. I rarely drink anymore. Maybe once a year. I paid almost six dollars for a rum an coke, but could not taste the rum. Hmmm.

James: Always happy with the service here. All the staff Male and Female is on point with customers and orders. Anyone says otherwise are just bitter cry babies who complain on Google reviews because they were kicked out or cut off. As a former bouncer of 15 years. I've seen tons of bogus bad Google reviews. When someone says the staff was rude or kicked them out for no reason, come be really we all obviously know their is always a reason. So in conclusion don't believe the haters just come on down and have a good time. CJEERS!!

All of the bar tenders do a great job making sure the customers are well taken care of and not over served. I love how diverse the bar is . Ironwell also brings in a variety of entertainment; from the bands, dj bingo,karokee and line dancing. Tomas, Audrey, Jen, Taylor, Neavaeh, Liz and Lauryn are all amazing bartenders and really care about their customers. I love this bar and will always support them.
Ben Meade: The male bartender there is INCREDIBLY rude to customers. His attitude towards people who come here to relax and have a drink is absolutely miserable. I watched him be very rude to the person next to me for NO REASON AT ALL! I immediately closed my tab and as much as I hate to leave no tip I didn’t leave a dollar and left. Will not be returning to this place. People beware find another place to go it’s not worth it here or you’ll find yourself dealing with this bartender and his nasty attitude.
Sarah M: The male bartender I believe his name is Tomas is very very rude to customers. I have dealt with him along with many other people I know. He is snippy as hell to anyone who goes up to the bar and orders drinks. I try to avoid having to go up there because his nasty attitude ruins the entire vibe of trying to go out and have fun. I have dealt with it myself but have witnessed him antagonize customers numerous times then have them thrown out when there is a response from the customer. They have taken my drinks off the table and have them thrown out after I literally just paid for them because this bartender was getting very nasty with me and when I decide to respond I’m thrown out and my money just spent on drinks are thrown out. Something needs to change with the quality of service. Will not be returning until this bartender is given the door. If you don’t like bartending with a positive attitude obviously this isn’t the job for you.
Dawn Farnsworth: Not from Grand Rapids but the few times that I have gone to the Iron Well on the weekend to listen to a great band I have to deal with a very rude bartender. Not just to me but noticed he was very rude to others.

Christine Homminga: Was our first time being there, and the bartender that greeted us was nice. The food and drinks were good, but we were a little uncomfortable. Around 7:30, tables started getting reserved. They were supposed to move us, but "our" name was nowhere to be found. So we sat at the bar, which wasn't as nice. Cause we couldn't easily look at each other. Eye contact was barely made, and my sister waited roughly a half hour. To order the drink that she wanted but after 30 minutes of waiting. She decided not to get anything and we left. My bestie was looking forward to trying the bull, but it wasn't going to be up and running till later. Fortunately/ unfortunately we will not be returning.
Rex Roscoe: My wife and I went to see a Karaoke competition last night (which was REALLY good - great talent and one of the best sound systems I've heard in West Michigan). Had some drinks and some food too. Overall, a great experience, with a really cool atmosphere!

Cozy hangout spot with darts pool and tabletop shuffleboard, drinks are strong, shelf options (especially Irish whiskeys) are expansive. Beer drinkers, don’t worry — they have Guiness, Harp, Smithwicks, an Irish cider and a few domestics on tap. Good times await!
