Eastown Veterinary Clinic: what do users think?
Lexi Antor: I have heard great things about east town vet but I cancelled my appt after getting a price estimate of over $600. I went to another locally owned practice and was charged under $150 for the same treatments. So just be aware it is extremely pricey.
Bailey Stone: It takes alot for me to trust a new vet location but Easttown has impressed me so much! My dog blitz has been struggling with some weird reactions to her body and we went to multiple vets for it to tell us the same thing! Dr. McDowell has helped us so much into figuring what’s going on and how to help my blitzy. I also just got a new puppy and can’t wait for his visits there too!
Eric Crumback: I was 10 minutes late for the last dog appointment of the day. No one rushed my dog's care at all, everyone was friendly and informative Dr. Happels vet clinic is best in the grand rapids
Ann Egleco: Eastown has been our vet for many years. The doctors provide very good care to the creatures I love. Thank you
Jess: Great receptionist, nurses, and doctor!
Kenneth Vaow: The service here for my dog is amazing! We have been taking her there since she was 4 months old and have never had a bad experience ever, when she needed to be spayed they called before the procedure and after the procedure to let us know how she was doing. The level of care and the knowledge the staff have are amazing, there’s no other Vet in town I would go to.
Marianne Ciani: I took my cat to Eastown to get checked out to determine if her aversion to the litter box was a medical condition or behavioral. The Eastown team was very nice and caring and Dr McDowell was also caring and informative. She spent all the time we needed to help solve the issue. I would highly recommend them if you are in need of a vet.
Elizabeth Wachowiak: They treat my boys like family and are always calming and happy to work with them. A wonderful place with kind and knowledgeable staff that I cannot recommend enough. In a time of crisis when we were new to the area this clinic was the only one willingly to help us without hesitation (four others were unwilling to help or even give us information because we were not their clients yet)and that kindness has always stuck with me.
Audrey Hoisington: Eastown is the most incredible, compassionate office I've taken my cats to. Every time we go in the staff is warm, friendly, and eager to help however they can. Dr. McDowell is extraordinarily patient and kind, and I could not be happier to have them as my vet. All pricing is explained and detailed out so it's not a surprise at the very end, and you never feel "pushed aside" if pricing IS a difficulty; everyone is there to help. We brought our newest kitten to Eastown, and were fortunate enough to have been able to say goodbye to our oldest at Eastown. I cannot say enough how much their caring and thoughtful approach to animal's health means to myself and my fur babies.
Colin Seidowski: Excellent communication. Friendly staff. Vets explain everything. Bit pricey but get pet insurance and you're good.
Deb: Love this place but more importantly, these folks love my dog!
Alicia Kamps: Marckie was an awesome technician to work with. She made us feel comfortable, offered us beverages, and made sure we were informed throughput the exam as to what the doctor was doing and the respective cost so there were no surprises at the end. The doctor was also very kind and worked very well with our nervous pup. Will be returning!
Kelly Yagiela: Despite being a grumpy boy, Kahlo had a very positive first experience at Eastown Vet Clinic. All staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and I feel safe knowing that they're just a few doors down if Kahlo ever needs them. Thank you!
Conner Wagner: My perfectly happy healthy dog goes into Eastown Vet clinic for a checkup and comes out paralyzed in his back legs and needing to get emergency weekend surgery to fix his back for $8600 in hopes to be able to walk again.I would highly recommend caution to anyone new thinking about going to Eastown Veterinary Clinic. As mentioned above my perfectly healthy dog went to Eastown Vet clinic and immediately following the checkup I noticed something was very off. He wasn’t acting himself, wouldn’t jump into the car in the parking lot after the visit as normal, wouldn’t climb my stairs when we got home, couldn’t get comfortable. I thought it may be the vaccines he received so I waited it out. Next morning comes around and my dog is completely paralyzed in his back legs. We had to take him to get emergency surgery over the weekend 2 hours away to treat a ruptured disc in his back which all and all cost $8600. My dog is back home now but there is a long road to recovery with hopes he can walk on his own/normal again. I just don’t understand what happened at Eastown Vet that caused this. They try to tell me nothing out of the ordinary occurred when they took him back. This happened on Eastown Vets hands and they need to be accountable and help with funding. I have tried to talk to management several times and their communication back to me has been very very poor and delayed every time. It seems they just keep trying to push this under the rug. Several days past the date they told me management would reach back out, I received a letter stating Eastown Vet will not be supporting any of the funding of this because they don’t find this to be their fault. This is very sad and disappointing. I know something happened at Eastown Vet clinic to my dog and they are not taking responsibility and at least helping out with some of the bills. A dog doesn’t just go to a Vet and come out paralyzed by chance.
Carly Cook: I love how compassionate and sweet and the staff are with our dog, Tucker. He can be a nervous boy sometimes, but he is always comfortable in their care! They truly treat our pets as if they were their own. He’s always waiting for the vet techs to come back with more peanut butter or treats! I also always appreciate the transparency with the cost of the visit and breakdown of services before we get started. Always makes the process less stressful!
Darlene Putans: Best Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Tittle and staff are great! They care about your pets and treat like they are your own.
Sara Vohlken: The staff of ETV is always friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. My dog has anxiety, and the staff is fantastic with assisting in making the experience as stress free as possible!
Sunflower Vibes: I was really impressed with the care my dog received. I’ve never been to a vet that took as much time to make it a positive experience for him. Very impressed as well with how quickly the clinic was able to assess his lump and determine that it was benign. I’m excited to get his teeth done here as well because of the care of the staff and the technical skill that this clinic has with dental work. Finally, I really appreciated how much the doctor listened to me and how interested she was in my questions. Our last vet would cut me off and assume what I was going to say and then come to a conclusion about my pet’s health before I could finish. That previous clinic also had him stay still on a tall exam table that scared him. I didn’t know a vet visit could be so positive for my dog. What really made all the difference for him was being able to do the exam on the floor, doing things at his pace, being able to move around, and definitely the peanut butter. He was very excited about the take home peanut butter in his end of visit bag! I don’t think he will be scared to visit the vet in the future.
Meaghan Lamm: The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly and the doctors are incredibly thorough in their examinations and explanations of care. I especially love that they give you an outline of all the charges and costs BEFORE the visit so you're prepared and there aren't any surprises. Absolutely could not recommend Eastown Vet Clinic enough!
Brianne Murrell: Never felt quite so comfortable with a vet after just the first visit. I can tell the staff truly puts animals and priority number 1!
Jennifer Willis Adams: Top notch care for my little four legged babies! Great doctors and support staff. Very grateful for their professionalism when having to make the toughest decision about my 16 year old yorkie. Highly recommend!

Wealthy Street Animal Hospital: what do users think?
Silvestre Ramirez: Our gordo always gets treated like a prince and gets spoiled every time. Love the attention and professionalism they have every visit! Love the fallow up calls to make sure we don’t have any other questions after the visit.
Libby VanderPloeg: I love the team at Wealthy St Animal Hospital! They are incredibly caring and gentle when working with my dog, and always follow up to see how he's recovering from ailments and procedures. He loves and trusts them too, and looks forward to his vet visits!
30 seconds ofWaves: I love the friendly staff! We never wait more than a minute or two for our appointment. They now allow in person appointments with your furry friend. In and out in 30 minutes for our annual exam!
Allyson Carlton: I really appreciate this place! I have had so many bad vet experiences it feels so nice to have a vet that supports me and doesn't pressure me to get things that I don't need. I highly recommend this place.
Betsi Brook: WSAH has been our vet for over a year, but after my experience today we will not be returning. My dog is very anxious, we have known this since she was a puppy and have been doing everything we can to help her manage. During a behavior consult with WSAH last year, we had settled on medicating her on an as-needed basis, which helped. However, after a recent reactive incident on top of other persistent anxious behaviors, we decided to pursue daily anxiety medication. At the appointment, Dr. O’Brien was very judgmental and condescending. This was her first time meeting my dog and it was clear she hadn’t bothered to look at her file beforehand. I had to explain medical history and previous behavior consultations. When I began to explain the wider range of her anxious behaviors in order to demonstrate the chronic nature of my dog’s anxiety and the need for regular medication, she stopped me and told me she only wanted to focus on the singular incident. The way she spoke about my dog and her anxiety was very “one size fits all”. Her demeanor did not communicate an interest in supporting me or in getting to know my dog’s complexities. She scoffed at my explanation of trainings we have done and methods we have found success with in keeping our dog calm around her triggers. She was very pessimistic and dismissed our previous success and proceeded to tell me what I should be doing instead.Instead of feeling like Dr O’Brien was there to help me, I felt interrogated and judged. She framed everything very negatively and did not show any empathy or interest in really getting to know my dog or partner with me. This is unacceptable and I expect our next vet to treat both me and my pet with kindness and compassion.
Benjamin Stitt: They are super awesome with our dog and cat
Rebecca Cincoski: I am new to the area and was initially very excited when I discovered there was a vet clinic within walking distance that we could potentially make into our go-to neighborhood clinic. I quickly realized that this was not going to be our clinic that I had hoped for, for multiple reasons.I just needed an up-to-date fecal check for my pup so that he could be boarded for an upcoming stay while we are away, so this was the sole reason for this specific appointment. When I scheduled the appointment I was told it would be a set amount. However, in answering questions during the check-in process I felt it important to mention how my pup does not like vet visits and when they asked me follow-up questions on this matter I shared the anxiety he has been dealing with for some time. Again, this was not my reason for the visit, and nothing new, but when they asked me questions I answered them because that’s what you do, right?! Apparently not! Be VERY cautious at this clinic, when it goes into any detail at all they will up-charge the heck out of you without warning! I left with an additional fee because the receptionist (who was also extremely rude) told me it had turned into a “concerns” visit. Again, I was not notified of this at any point during the visit until I walked out the door. I had no knowledge of any potential for extra charges until this moment. When I asked for a reconsideration of this fee because of the lack of notice I was strongly denied! In addition to this, I have never in my life felt so judged and shamed for my pups anxiety walking into a clinic and answering their questions honestly. Dr. O’Brien truly made me feel like I have done nothing right to help my dog with this. Despite the multiple trainings we have done, composure chews, CBD, and meds to help with this behavior. I know that my dog has made progress along the way and trust the trainers methods we have used in the past. It was not good enough apparently for the doctor, despite all of our efforts to date. I felt disrespected and completely deflated, not the way I would like to be treated in a clinic or otherwise by anyone.. ever! She handed me a bunch of pamphlets at the end of our visit for the select few brands that she recommends, knocking down any and all others out there.Obviously, I will never be back to this clinic and am shocked this is how they run their business. Please do yourself a favor and seek out other vet clinics who will treat both you and your pet with the respect and decency we all deserve. A place that will not shame or judge you for everything you are doing to try and help your pet. I don’t often write reviews, but after this experience and in being an advocate for my dog and others, I felt it was my duty to notify both the people I know with pets and the people out there researching where to take theirs about this experience, and to steer clear of this place!
Emma Suarez: Caring team, professional and efficient. Clear explanation of pet issues, options and costs. So lucky we have such a wonderful facility downtown. Trust them completely.
James 117: They cared about our cat Kaos and took care of her. 😸
Paulie Robinson Stevens: TLDR; felt like I always received incomplete treatment instructions; it's been two weeks and I never received a response to either my voicemail or email after reaching out about an urgent condition, they completely disregarded my attempts at communicationI would not recommend this practice to other pet owners. I brought my cat in for a bladder infection/crystals in his urine, and over the course of his month-long treatment had multiple instances where I was not given full information at his visit and had to contact either WSAH again or another practice entirely to get appropriate treatment instructions. In addition, before taking my cat out of town for two weeks I touched base with my primary vet, who gave my recommendations and then told me to contact WSAH again when I was back so that we could proceed with his care. His condition worsened while I was gone, so I reached out as soon as I got back to get updated instructions. I called and left a voicemail on a Tuesday; with no response by Thursday, I emailed saying it was urgent and requesting a response. It has been two weeks and I never got a response to either my call or email, having instead received treatment from my emergency vet. I am disappointed in their professionalism and will be switching practices.
Amber Nocon: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness
Jillian Gatesy: On multiple occasions I have attempted to contact them. I have left messages with my number and information and I never hear back from them. At one point when I finally got someone to answer the phone they told me they were only taking emergency appointments due to covid. Later on I had a legitimate emergency for my animal and they refused to take them saying I should make an appointment with an emergency vet (paying thousands of dollars for something that could have been handled at the vet). I have stopped using this clinic for my animals. The response from them has been nothing but poor on every occasion.
Amy Sluka: I love the Vet, but this is such a horrible spot! You have to park in the road on Wealthy and it is a busy street. I have a severely high anxiety dog that was picked up by Pound Puppies in the streets of Muskegon before we got her. She is afraid of all vehicles and loud noises. She was a frantic mess by the time I could get her in the building and actually had to knock on the door so they would take her 5 minutes! Never again.
Matthew Jobson: We won’t go to either facility again after just more than a year of taking our dog here. If you DO decide to have your pet seen here, make sure to have them tell you everything they are going to do BEFORE you show up, make sure you get an itemized bill every time, and make sure to find out what your pet will need within the next 1-2 months so they don’t try to break up your appointments. They are either really bad at communication or they are really good at squeezing you for as much as they can get out of you.
alyssa claire: Staff is so knowledgeable and compassionate, love this practice!
Suzan Bylsma: Critical:Responsiveness
Sarah Ford: I absolutely love our vet! My dogs actually love going to go see them and have always been very well cared for here. My dog went to their other location in Wyoming recently and I had an equally as great of an experience.
Nichole Hess: Extremely friendly and helpful. Very convenient service given COVID restrictions and treated my pup amazingly!
laura cardenas: This place is in a nutshell ONE BIG HEADACHE! There’s forever an issue with one thing or another and with each issue that arises I’m forced to reach out to other places just to ensure they have the meds needed. As simple as a heartworm or flea and tick prevention it’s become a hassle! Not to mention I brought my fur baby there to get his nails trimmed and even that they were unsuccessful! Basically they’re a train wreck in slow motion so my advice is to stay away! You will be disappointed! Sad however true from a fur baby momma who’s had several plus years of fur babies they are definitely incompetent and wouldn’t want anyone to endure the distress I’ve been through dealing with them.
Leah Slavens: They always stake such great care of our doggo. The staff is super sweet and helpful. It doesn't feel chaotic because there arent tons of animals everywhere, and its always super clean. Appointment times are true, and we feel like they always take the time and energy to explain and really provide the best quality care!
Emma Belden: Never take your animal to Wyoming animal hospital or wealthy street animal hospital. They have completely dropped the ball with my sick cat. In my opinion they’re extremely negligent, incompetent and do not care about the animals they’re supposed to be caring for. They’ve barely communicated with me at all and have not rectified the situation what so ever. My cat is now worse off after bringing her there than she was prior to me bringing her in. So if you’re thinking about going there literally go anywhere else. So upsetting.

Westwood Hills Animal Hospital: what do users think?
Nora Fleming: They were wonderful to my pet and I .My regular vet was on vacation and they stepped up right away to work us in when my dog injured her foot . We had a great experience along with follow up. Thank you so much! 🙂
Angie Paauwe: I’ve brought Lily to Westwood Hills since she was a puppy. The staff and doctors are friendly, caring and are thorough in explanations. Lily loves to go. She is happy to see everyone. They are very gentle and skilled with her. They are also quick to respond to calls. I would recommend them to friends and family.
Alicia Cavasos: Will never go back to this place again. We went to have an exam and vaccinations on 2/22 for my cat later that day I noticed scabs on my cats legs and stomach I called the next day and when I went back I was charged again.what do you pay $70 for if you are not going to examine correctly.she said it was fleas but shouldn’t that have been caught at the exam? This place is over priced and lazy.they didn’t even want to touch my cat. All this place cares about is taking your money go somewhere else!!!
Me Not-You: After getting a second opinion I am even further disappointed w the service i received here. They do not take accountability for the prices and services their staff discuss w you... and I just had the same operation at Fur wellness on Plainfield for a literal fraction of their estimated... Like were talking a 500$ difference. The vet at fur wellness also said my cat was not suffering from reabsorption in a tooth. I was so confused as the vet at Westwood said it was bad enough she needed surgery.I am so happy I moved on from Westwood as it felt like they were overpriced and only care to make profits.Ps, thanks for the nearly expired Royal canon food 😤, try refreshing your stock.
Jordan Kotecki: When we had to put our dog down they were not sensitive at all. She was scared and they covered her face. We couldn't hold her or anything to comfort her. It was traumatizing and a moment that we have to live with. I wish we never took her there.
Calypso Bliz: Since day one taking my dog to this office I've had nothing but great experiences and I can speak for my dog as well. My dogs always been treated superb by staff. They really care about your pet and are very kind towards owners. Staff always above and beyond with information about medications etc... definitely will refer any friends with pet buddy's. Great job keep up the great work
Jeanne Meier: I'm so greatful for this wonderful staff. I brought my dog in because she had stopped eating and was very sick, they were very thorough in testing and treating her. My old vet would have suggested putting her down, but this vet saved her for which I will be forever grateful. I'm so glad that I switched vets❤
Laura Antor: Everyone we've worked with here is great! They are friendly, knowledgeable and caring!
Courtney B: After moving back to MI after several years in Chicago, I needed a new vet for my French Bulldogs. We had our first appointment today at Westwood Hills Animal Hospital. It was a great experience. We were greeted warmly and were placed in an exam room immediately. Our tech today was Theresa who was wonderful. She was patient and thorough to ensure she had an accurate history and made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed. She updated me on all vaccines and services needed to get them up to date and let me know about costs along the way. We then saw Dr. Barczak who was equally as wonderful. She helped me determine best next steps for some skin and allergy issues my doggos were having and she was so friendly and pleasant. My dogs loved them both and were calm and at ease throughout the appointment. Great energy from the entire staff. Start to finish a fantastic experience and I am so happy we picked Westwood Hills for our new Vet. Thank you so much and we will see you again at our next check up.
Laura Depue: They are very considerate and informative. The vet we saw was compassionate and is working with us. She's trying to get to the bottom of the situation 🤔.
Elissa Hughes: Best vets in town. Dog and cat mom.
Brittany Yaw: Unwilling to go outside the norm for an emergency oral surgery situation. Said I had to wait a week for and pay $85 for a consultation even after I let them know I had a confirmed fracture and just needed to work with an oral surgeon.
Rowen Squiers: The greatest vet ever! They really will go above and beyond for you and your pets. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and very up front about cost and treatment options. Despite moving over an hour away, I still make the drive here because they're just THAT GOOD.
Dreya W: I really.dont think I've ever found a better place to take my babies. They might be on the pricier side compared to others closer/within the same distance.... but I promise you, they won't care like Westwood does. I mostly see Dr Henn, but all the techs are wonderful too.I've even emailed them during business hours with some concerns and they're quick to respond.Georgie was so scared to be at the vet (she just had a seizure that afternoon and they got me in asap) and they were soooo good with her and with explaining all the different reasonings a seizure can happen.10/10 recommended 🧡🧡
Steve Shumard: They are amazing with our dog, and have helped us out several times when he wasn't doing well. Thank you for all you do!
Patricia Riley: Friendly staff. Professional services in a timely manner. They send out reminders of appointments in a timely fashion.
Robert Monroe: Nice friendly service
James Hansma Jr: Very nice and friendly
Andy Deruischer: They treat my dog great.
Diane Lipski: My dog had to have emergency surgery. The staff was very good with my dog. He was treated very well. I wasn't happy with the cost, but the health of my furry family member is more important.
Karen Leiter: They also have pets, so they are very personal when it comes to their guest. Love these girls.

Standale Veterinary Hospital: what do users think?
Rick Schmich: Heather is the best vet in town! And the rest of the staff is very friendly!
Sally Alderink: We just brought our six month old Golden Retriever Rosie for her first visit. What a great clinic! Kelly the vet assistant was kind and thorough. Dr. Haskins is great. A wealth of information and very kind. I'm glad we found this wonderful clinic.
Geo Nich: The people here are sooo friendly. And they really care about doggos.
Ethan Nayback: This place is phenomenal for pet care. Also very helpful and compassionate when we needed to euthanize a pet family member.
Michelle E.: The veterinarian and vet techs here are patient and kind with dogs. Mine was a rescue, and due to his past experiences had a high level of anxiety when entering ANY offices. It was stressful for me taking him for something as simple as a nail trim. Now? He is calm. The staff here call him by name and treat him like a member of their family!Pricing is reasonable, which is important to pet parents!! Staff is friendly.
Pam Albert: A great Vet with great people!
Anna McCarthy: My cats and I love this vet! My oldest cat Ares (9 years old) always hated going to the vet, but when we started coming here he was immediately comfortable. He rubbed against Dr. Haskins-Yonkers' legs and actually purred. Taking him to the vet is no longer a hassle. With 4 cats total, I really appreciate the fair prices and their ability to fit me in for appointments when I'm concerned about any of my cats' health. The staff members are always very friendly and helpful. I know I can truly trust them with my fur-babies.-Ares (9yrs), Athena (5yrs), Apollo (3yrs), Artemis (3yrs)
Kelsi Gaunt: I truly love bringing my Golden Retriever, Oakley, to Standale Veterinary Hospital! The staff are all incredibly kind and welcoming, and we just absolutely love Dr. Haskins! They make scheduling easy and are very flexible as well! Highly recommend this veterinary hospital for your precious fur babies!
DT: I have been going to this vet clinic with my dog for over two years now and I think it's time for me to leave them a good review because they certainly deserve it!My dog is accident-prone, so we usually have 2-3 visits per year on top of her yearly exams. I feel so supported and welcome whenever I go to Standale Veterinary Hospital. They have managed to squeeze us in for a day-of appointment on many occasions. My experience with the Doctor Haskins and all the support staff has been nothing but positive. They seem to genuinely care and have helped us out multiple times when urgent issues have arisen.
Lee Henry: Will accept pets by appointment only even if it is an emergency.
Brenda Ba: Everyone was nice and professional. You can tell they love animals they explain the meds and everything needed for my puppy dog Blue 🔵
Joel Harding: Dr. Heather and the entire staff are THE BEST! Your fur babies will be well taken care of here. Very professional and they're not constantly trying to up-sell you other services. Good location on Kinney off Lake Mi. Dr. Absolutely do recommend - I'd give 10 stars if I could. Top shelf vet care! 👍👍👍
Taylor Arraut: I have a small army of cats and have been looking for a vet to set them up with. I am so glad that I found Dr. Haskins and her team! Dr. Haskins and her team are are very knowledgeable, personable, and our cats love them.Standale Vet was even able to get me in the same morning when I had a semi-emergency. My boyfriend is a paramedic and found a baby kitten by itself outside while working one morning. It was so young that I wasn't sure how old it was or even what the gender was. Dr. Haskins was able to get little miss kitten in and let us know that she was about 4-5 weeks old and healthy. Dr. Haskins has provided us with plenty of information to help us integrate kitten to become part of our cat army.
Steven Minogue: We just moved our 3 dogs over to this vet. Dr. Haskins was very nice and knowledgeable. There was a no rush atmosphere and she made enough time to answer all of our new puppy questions. I highly recommend if you are looking for a vet.
Bryan Sampson: Our dog has been a patient at Standale Veterinary Hospital since he was a pup. They've always provided great service and have been very understanding when issues arise. Would recommend.
Lisa Stewart: Love them!
Wendy Smith: Moved and changed vets after 25 years love the vet and staff .took the time to explain everything .would recommend to everyone.
Spencer T: Dr Haskins and her staff are fantastic, my dog loves going there!
David Stephenson: Love all of the professional Doctor and Nurses there.
Heath Gorney: Excellent staff that are friendly and take good care of our pets without trying to sell us services or give bad advice. I recommend this animal clinic to anyone.
Scott VT: We brought our dog and two cats to Dr. Haskins for years and thought the service was great for routine care. But when our dog needed care for kidney failure and one of our cats needed oral surgery, we had very bad experiences with both her and her staff. The issues are too extensive to list here, but it adds up to inadequate care for our pets and a serious lack of follow up and professionalism for us. In addition, we sent a detailed letter of complaint on 8/12/21 and as of 8/29, we have received no response from her or anyone in her office. I see all of the positive reviews, so maybe this is an exception. It is nonetheless unacceptable. We actually weren’t even fully aware how bad it was until we switched to a new vet clinic, where the care, communication and follow up have been significantly better from the first visit on. I have a feeling this review will be dismissed in a response. If so, so be it. But please know that this is an honest, factual review intended to help people in the process of looking for a place --and people-- to trust their pets lives and care with when it’s most needed. For that, based on our overall experience at Standale Veterinary Hospital, we seriously recommend that you look elsewhere.

Dr. Seneker and Dr. Innis- are compassionate and careful- and outstanding in their respective specialities. The staff is kind, loving and highly experienced in all their work. I would HIGHLY Recommend their services- and endorse their Kind Care and treatment of all our Treasured Pets... we have been patients for over 30 years... I consider them Essential to our Dogs well-being- health and comfort! Our dogs actually enjoy visiting- and trust the entire staff! The Office and physical location- is state of the art- welcoming, clean, care filled and efficient. I would give 10 stars if I was able!J Schwanke and Kelly BlankHost and Producers of J Schwanke's Life in Bloom on Public Television- and our Treasured Cocker Spaniels:Lucy, Clara, Eleanor, Ladybrid and Georgy Girl

Schmitt's Animal Hospital: what do users think?
J F: Your vet techs are amazing! It doesn’t matter who they are, they consistently are patient with our 112 lb lab who is fearful of nail trimming. I never have a problem with your wonderful staff. We are down from 4 pills to a half of one pill due to their patience and expertise in safely and quickly cutting his nails.Update - Went again today with my Eddie who has been terrified of getting his nails clipped. Over time staff have worked with him. He is taking half the sedation he was and we were able to get his nails done with the help of Vet Tech Sara R. who is amazingly fast cutting dog nails and Kait who helped hold my scared puppy. Thanks for answering all my dog travels questions too, Sara! I love Schmitt's Animal Hospital.Your staff have consistently been helpful, thorough, patient and kind with our Eddie and myself. I can't think of another thing you could do to make things any better.
Stephanie Hirdes: 🐶 Sage, our 6 year old goldendoodle, is smitten with Dr. Timmer. Her soft spoken voice, her calm reassurance, and her warm gentle touch was exactly what Sage needed to convince herself that the vet isn’t a scary place. Dr.Timmer’s the best! 😷👩🏻
Katelyn Schullo: I’ve been coming here for years. Highly recommend. Staff is always friendly and have been supportive and understanding during hard visits.
Debra Visser: The staff and doctors are wonderful!
Julieann Stapleton: Schmidt’s has very caring and well informed techs and the Drs. treat their“Patients” as if they were their very own. Wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else!
Angie Wilson: I've used this clinic for years, they used to be very good. When Dr Schmidt was actively working. It has since went down hill. We had a very disappointing experience. The lack of communication here is horrible.... This was not a few visits but over there course of years. I only wish I would have followed my instincts and went to a better vet. Please do yourself and your pet a favor and find a better vet.
Nancy Wright: You guys are purfect! Don't change a thing!Everyone at Schmitt's go out of their way to help you out and explain everything. We have been going to Schmitt's for over 37 years for as long as they have been in existence, and would never change! Have had many furry kids undergo a big variety of situations, some even ending up with unexpected home visits provided by Dr. Schmitt. Love Schmitt's.
Angela Knape: These people truly care about your animals and I am forever grateful. Prices aren't bad for the amazing service they provide. All the staff is knowledgeable and very nice! I would recommend them for ALL animal owners :)
Michele Graham: Schmitt's Animal Hospital is the best. Caring, compassionate and professional is their number one priority. Have been a client for twenty plus years and would never think of taking my fur babies any place else. Great staff, great environment and always accommodating to your needs.
Sena Mulder: I’ve been very happy there. They are very attentive and thorough. It’s almost impossible to find a vet these days, especially a good one. It’s all been positive. I’m very glad I found them.
Andrew Rogers: Very satisfied with the service we were given to our Dog. Patiently answered our questions and concerns about our dog. Always great service, GREAT staff.
Ellen Fisher: Great communication and service; they genuinely care about Nina and make her visit as comfortable as possible.Highly recommend
Kathy Talis: Excellent care for our animals. Dr Timmerman is wonderful.
Mary Beth Sawinski: Expert and compassionate care!
Neil Patel: We absolutely LOVE bringing our "pup" to Schmitt's! And he loves the staff there too (and not just because of the treats)!
Jim Bell: For 15 years we brought our dog to Schmitt's. We came first just before Christmas with a small 6 week old puppy we'd just adopted from a shelter. She had a bad kennel cough and wasn't eating or drinking. They discovered she was also full of parasites. Dr. Jones was very kind, took Nuala, and said they would need to keep her for a couple of days in isolation because of the kennel cough and would treat that and the parasites, but she gently explained that she was already malnourished and may not survive. But she did survive and came home on Christmas Eve (we weren't sure how we would break bad news to our young kids). Since that first visit Schmitt's has always been kind and thorough. Three years ago just before another Christmas they discovered a cancerous tumor on her neck. Their surgery saved her again. But alas, this week was Nuala's last appointment. Dr. Jones provided Nuala's final pain-relieving service, and she could not have been more kind. Thank you to all the wonderful and loving people at Schmitt's who helped care for Nuala and made it possible for all of us to enjoy her for these 15 years.
Diane Rayor: The same-day appointment really went as well as possible. Kari took great notes when we talked to her from the car. Jodi greeted us nicely at the desk. When we went in Kaitlin handled Sancho with gentleness. Dr. Jones answered all our questions and gave our cat a good check-up. He was shaking at the start of the visit, but calm by the end. Us, too. We were really relieved to have some answers and specific tips for what to watch for and what to do. Dr. Jones and the Schmitt's Animal Hospital team are wonderful! We've taken our cats there for 30 years. Thank you!
Taylor Zank: The staff is always so nice! They’ve always provided the best care for our pets
Dan Flak: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueYou are always great, thanks for caring for our furry family members over all these years!
Amy Kensington: I love everything about your facility and services. You have so much more available then our previous vet with medicines and blood work. Everyone is so friendly and I could not be happier I have found your Animal Hospital!
Rachel Tibbe: Excellent staff, they will take exceptional care of your fur babies!
