Spectrum Health Medical Group Urgent Care: what do users think?
Nadia Osipova: Awful wait times on 11/5/22. Urgent care walk in appointment scheduled for 2 hours after arrival. Went home and came back. Called in in 15 minutes, the nurse took some swabs and left, and it's been an hour and we're still waiting for the results.Sounds like they are understaffed, but in that case why not just schedule the appointment later, so I don't have to wait in the visitation room the whole time? On the bright side, the staff were mostly quite friendly.Update: had a second experience walking into urgent care during a weekday a few months later, was seen immediately, lab tests and medicine done immediately, was a really good experience.
Laurie Janes: The staff here has always been very kind , and considerate - they listen to me describing my actual symptoms ( w/out acting rushed) and tho ive waited up to a hr 1 visit? Its generally within 20-30 min at most the 4-6 times ive been there past few yrs. Highly recommend this facility. 😉
B W: Went on 8/7. Friendly staff, quick check in. I did have to wait a long time, but it was Sunday evening and i’m sure they had fewer staff at that time. Was examined by Dr Bach. He apologized immediately for my having to wait. He was extremely helpful and kind. Diagnosed and gave me exactly the treatment that was needed. So glad he was the doctor on call that evening.
john scoggins: Great service and help with front staff.
Paris Naves: I pay over $500 a month for Priority Insurance and I went to Spectrum urgent care for stomach pain and was turned away because I didn’t have $75 up front. I asked to be bill and the clerk said unfortunately we require it at the time of service. 😡 so I have to go to ER which will cost $150. It’s so sad the medical field is not about helping people all they care about is how much money they can get.
Bill Johnson: I have been to this location dozens of times over many years, for appointments with my primary care physician and/or physician assistants, lab work and for urgent care. My experiences have all been terrific, from the greeting station on. The people that staff this facility are excellent in every way. I find that a pleasant disposition on my part evokes a positive response in return.
Erica Bouillon: Came in and was helped right away. It was near closing time but employees were understanding and welcomed me with professionalism and kindness. Receptionist Mary was extremely helpful and Dr. Swanson took great care of me in a timely fashion.
Madelyn Jenema: Care more about liability then helping patients I experienced with PA Austin J something very un helpful, made me feel very judged and more confused while I had a concussion. I also had 2 other experiences there where I was mid diagnosed. Sucks when you’re just looking for help.
Kevin Timm: This happened a couple of months ago but I thought it was worth saving people time and money.. I was charged $70.00 with insurance for a nurse practitioner to tell me to take a "regimen of tylenol and motrin" (clearly didn't read my file because I am allergic to ibuprofen). The pain in my mouth was horrendous and I was unable to talk, eat, or sleep and it was my second time going into urgent care because the sores were spreading and getting worse. First time was in Rockford and they gave me lidocaine which was ineffective and I know no one can wave a magic wand to get rid of them but I was hoping there could have been something better to treat or soothe the sores and the pain, or maybe some better advice. I had to miss work because of the pain and I felt like I was not taken seriously. 70 dollars to be told to take tylenol! I was already doing that!!! What is this place good for?
Jennifer Jacobs: My College son had been exposed to Covid. He had some mild symptoms. Went to the Urgent Care. He lives in a dorm, you know a living area where viruses can spread. The provider refused to test him, because he didn't have symptoms when he was seen. I thought Covid was highly contagious. I thought you can spread it while being asymptomatic. Don't go here if you even suspect you have Covid. They won't test you. If we get a bill I will be sending it back.
Christina Fenech-Young: Great urgent care; friendly staff, clean rooms, quick care
Karissa LaRue: I had little to no wait getting in. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Michael M: Stay away, this place can't handle the new COVID environment. They're too focused on their own protocols to provide prompt attention to non-COVID patients. Parents beware: zero sense of urgency for pediatric patients.I have come here several times in the past few years and I'm shocked with the current setup. They used to be so great! But now they spend all their energy on whether or not you have COVID and then drop you on the floor and forget you once they realize you're there for something else. The follow-up is non-existent and I've never seen a team that has so little sense of urgency when providing pediatric care.Definitely not the team you want to care for your little one!
Andy Baker: There is nothing urgent about this Spectrum Health Urgent Care facility. They want you to show up 10 minutes early, absolutely no personality at the door, let you in the building 40 minutes later, take you vitals 20 minutes after that, 2 hours later still no doctor. I do not recommend this place at all.
Matthew Bailey: Went in on a Sunday after a relatively minor internal arm injury the night before. Receptionist was clear and helpful. I had almost no wait time in the lobby. Nurse took my vitals quickly, Dr. Fulton came to diagnose and called for an x-ray which came quickly. Dr. Fulton came back quickly with the results and I was on my way in no time. Everyone was kind and professional throughout and I was impressed by their efficiency at every stage. Glad I drove the extra distance to come to this location.
Ashley Brown: I love this urgent care so helpful and quick too.
Steven K: Dr Craig Anderson is really nice doctor. Process and waiting time for internal medicine yearly physical was fast and efficient. Great experience.
lindsey szymanski: I folllowed ALL THE instructions. Finally a doctor gave me my appointment for the next morning. I got there and was told no appointment was made for me. Also i was not given any direction on what to do once i was parked in the lot. He told me to stay in my car. Yeah, that’s not right.
Jay Johnson: I am blown away about how positive the energy is at this location! Yes, it is a nice and sunny day, but the personality and demeanor of every staff person here made me feel welcome. At an Urgent Care center. During a pandemic. This kind of thing may go unnoticed to some, but should serve as a reminder that pure efficiency does not always equal good customer service. Spectrum Health should be proud as it is clear that staff morale matters!
Kyle London: If you want to call this place for a simple question, plan on spending at least an hour being transferred around and placed on hold before you get anywhere. You'll even have to conduct a screening before you talk to someone on the phone as if you will give them the flu through the phone. After many calls and hours wasted, plan on being hung up on because there is nobody else they can transfer you to.
Megan Ann: I’ve been here 4 times and every single time I have been misdiagnosed and had to go back to my primary care doctor. It is a complete waste of time to go here. Especially with the rude check in lady and 2- 4 hour wait times.

Urgent Care | University of Michigan Health-West: what do users think?
Camarie Bisard: horrible horrible experience at this location. I had a heart scare and nearly fainted and it was my first time experiencing it so I didn’t know wether to go to urgent care or to an ER. I went and got checked in, and immediately told the lady at the front desk my concerns while I was trembling, shaking, sweating, and she said “they take heart concerns seriously so they are going to check you out then get you moved to the ER” she said they would be out immediately to get me. I waited 15 minutes and eventually the lady told me “they are pretty busy back there so they’ll be out when they can” over a heart concern!!!! I then asked how long the wait at the ER was and she said an hour and 15 mins. My boyfriend and.I left and went to spectrum and I had an EKG hooked up to me in less than 2 minutes. I am now at home with a heart monitor and was told I went into afib. Could this have been more serious, this urgent cares lack of concern and responsiveness could have killed someone. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Adelaide Miller: Absolutely horrific service at this location. My partner went in just for simple stitches, yet was treated with unprofessionalism and disregard by the staff. Despite the Urgent Care being completely empty, besides my partner, he was left to bleed in the waiting room for 45 minutes. The “professional” who treated him did such a poor job that 4 out of the 6 stitches came undone prior to his discharge, yet nobody bothered to fix the error. Because of this negligence, we have to seek help from elsewhere.
Seyma Ozcan Aguilar: I got sick , doctor said it's not big deal you will be ok. He didn't give me medicine. 10 days is gone and I'm more sick now. Thank you.
Kate More: We had an outstanding experience. Everyone from the person who checked us in to the nurse practioner we saw was extremely caring and kind. It felt like they really cared about helping my child feel better. The nurse practitioner took her time speaking with us and explaining things to us. I have never had such a good experience at an urgent care. Thank you!
Cody Polk: We brought my girlfriend's one year old son here a week ago for a high fever. They ran some covid and flu tests and sent us to the children's hospital. As of today we still haven't gotten results and upon calling they said they have the results but cannot provide them because they aren't "released yet."I'm glad he didn't have covid since we would have never gotten his test results.
Kimberly Zacha: You MUST wear a mask. They do have free masks at the info desk located just inside the entrance. There wasn't much of a wait. (Less than 10 minutes) Ironically, my visit wasn't probably as long as my wait. I requested to have my foot x-rayed as I fell several times a few months ago and it hurts more now than it did after each fall. They flat out refused to x-ray my foot. Donna, the nurse practitioner who "attended" to my medical needs did do the usual medical exam (listen to my heart, listen to my lungs, e.t.c), however she NEVER examined my foot, looked at it, manipulated it, or anything. She said "X-rays are dangerous, they cause cancer, it'd be a waste of resources". Her reasons also included that I'd walked in so obviously there's nothing wrong.I would NOT recommend going to this urgent care facility!!! Especially if you life depends on it, or you're in severe pain.
Stephanie Murray: Extremely frustrated by the demeaning nature of the nurse practitioner, Lydia Sutton. I have not dealt with such an unprofessional, cold, provider in a long time. She interrupted me, cut me off, and would not listen or trust what symptoms I was feeling.
Jordanne Morehouse: I didn’t mind that I had to wait almost two hours to be seen, no big deal. But to have nurses and drs be cold to you when all you want is help, is unprofessional. I came here based on someone else’s great experience at this location and I definitely will not be returning or referring people.
Matt Thomas: Quick service. Competent staff. One negative, the nearest bus stop is a 1.5 mile walk away. I would highly recommend Metro lobby The Rapid to at LEAST extend one of their routes to stop at the main entrance of the Metro Urgent Care building.
Linda Sniesak: I had excellent care here on aSunday morning visit about a finger laceration. Receptionist, M.A. and NP Scott Baar were all professional and did their jobs well.
Christopher M Cuffman: My mother took my daughter in for an allergic reaction. They took down the wrong address to send the bill, so I never knew there was a charge because I never received it. When I discovered they had sent the bill to collections, I tried to call them to get it straightened out. The person I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. After multiple calls, attempts to try to speak with a supervisor, and messages left, I was unable to speak with anyone even willing to acknowledge they had made an error. Unprofessional, to say the least.
Spencer LaMadline: The nurse I seen by the name of Lydia Sutton, was by far the worst "professional" I have ever met. She didn't listen to my concerns about a medication that in fact is the same thing as another medication that I am allergic too. One look at the bottle as well as Google confirms this. I haven't slept in three days because of the pain I am in. My shoulder is black and I can't move it without wincing. I wouldn't recommend Metro to anyone at all, mercy health at least did scans and tried to alleviate my pain. Lydia should not be in the medical field whatsoever, absolute no regard for human decency. Even overheard her talking about my condition with the clerks and making light of the situation.
Michael Shepard: Extremely rude receptionist
George Allchin: I cut my finger from knuckle to knuckle so i went to the Cascade Urgent Care Unit!! Quick and efficient, 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Jodi J: The place isn't clean. Nothing gets sanitized. Brought my grandson here because of a high fever. I should have gone to the ER instead. The wait is rediculous. Doesn't make matters better when people that come in claim that they have covid and pull their mask down to talk.
Gidget Groendyk: I received my prescription from Rockford metro, I needed prior authorization for my insurance company to pay for the script. The care providers promised every day . For the last 10 days that they would call the insurance company. However I found that they were not being honest. As I drove every day to the pharmacy to get it filled. When I told them the office where it was coming from they said good luck.I went today to the pharmacy at 10 again no response. I called the office and had there emergency number they connected me with. I had a lady who tried to get the dr to speak to me. However , they failed to listen , I needed them to call the insurance agency. This went on till 5 pm as my pharmacist tried to get them to understand what I needed. They did not and put in the comment cancel. Unreal I called back again, they told me in these words we don’t know what we are doing. I asked how can I get my medicine. They told me I guess just pay for it. As it is 230 dollars. The guy started to argue over the phone. Then st one point started to yell. I’m just a dispatch. Yes you must understand this is not our fault. It’s not us that is incompetent. Call the office Monday. I asked what is going to change, Monday that was not done from the last past two weeks . I asked again do I need to go there and have you administer the medication to this is straightened out. He said . Pay for it or wait. Here is my point, primary care is based on trust and honesty and care. And by the sounds of it, this is not the first time something like this happened. Could you imagine if you needed hart medication or stroke medication and you needed results. I will let you answer it for your self. For their poor customer service, the care for their pacients . I give them a F . I can only hope in the future they will take this criticism as a learning tool. Because if this happens and this place fails to perform care. Not only could a family loose a loved one , and the facility would be into litigation.I will follow up Monday in person for a informal interview, addressing these issues and develop a plan where they went wrong.I believe there is two sides to every story so I am interested in finding out why, I just wish the call center did a better job. Giving more clarity. Instead of sugar , honey. Mister . Come on man . All I can say is wow
Pam Krause: I had to go to this facility after talking to a dr in my primary care office. I was told by him he could do nothing and if it's that bad go to ER or a urgent care. I was apprehensive after reading reviews. I am happy I went there. I was treated better there than my own PCP office. Lydia was the NP. She was very knowledgeable and nice. She was really thorough. She changed the muscle relaxer the PCP office had prescribed on Wednesday. I asked the dr that called me back if he could prescribe something else. He told me no. I have taken 3 of the new pills she prescribed. The pain has already started to subside some what. Muscle spasm in your back are the worse. Thank you staff.
Ryan R: Nurses laughed about my wife’s condition when the nurse practitioner left. The walls are thin people. We were very hurt and will forever dislike coming here.
P: Have been in the unfortunate situation of needing to go here more than once. Both times (a year apart) I was seen by the same NP. She asked what worked and what didn’t in the past, and both times gave me the treatment that she knew up front did not work. Both times she made it clear that I was just an inconvenience to her, not a patient.
Skidmore-Miller Family: Very frustrating. Initially somewhat helpful but then not really. After 11 days of fever and coughing up large amounts of deep yellow phlegm, called them back to see about follow-up care. Victoria was combative at best to talk to. Her best suggestion was to go to the ER. I asked multiple questions and got nowhere. They need to work on the “care” part of their job.
Kaitlin Meadows: Worst urgent care I’ve ever been to. I probably spent 10 minutes out if the entire 2.5 hours I was there not waiting.

Spectrum Health Medical Group Urgent Care: what do users think?
Dallas Dingman: Go anywhere else
Lynn Williamson: Very quick to get checked in and only waited about 10 minutes to be called back.
Jelisa: Put us in a room and we sat in it for an hour past our reserved time, no one came in the entire time and told me anything at all. Wish I could put 0 starts honestly. 🗑 we ended up leaving without care.
Amanda Williams: I sent my son here for a cough. After being evaluated by a PA he was referred to the ER because his heart rate was elevated. He is 23 and was most likely nervous. The urgent care charged him a $200 ER copay. He waited hours in the ER. The physician came in, did a brief evaluation, and prescribed him a steroid for his cough. No further testing was done. We are now getting another bill for $200 for the ER copay. I expressed my concerns of the unnecessary ER visit with Patient Relations at Spectrum and they dismissed my concerns. I also find it interesting that the urgent care charges a ER visit copay. So disappointing.
David Neuenfeldt: TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I was a walk in. Told them i had covid so i was asked to wait outside. Was told it would be 2 hours. That was fine. I received my text and went inside to tell the receptionist i got my text. Instead of letting someone know i was there they put me in the que and made it look like i had just arrived! All while having an extremely high fever and on the verge of hallucinating. You people are so unprofessional. The nurse i spoke to got all snotty. You people are supposed to help people not be insulting. Even the person i spoke on the phone with after waiting all that time tried to call me a liar. So yeah you definitely didnt live up to the Spectrum name today.
daniela Rosas: I am impressed on how amazing all of the providers at this location treat their patients. Patient care here is very consistent and I’m a very particular picky person.. they do a good job getting you in and out and well diagnose .
Elizabeth VanKlompenberg: It's never a good day when you have to head to urgent care but I've used this location the last 4 or 5 times we've needed after-hours care in the past couple of years and they have been reliably excellent. Very caring and kind. Glad it's nearby!
RJ Hoffman: Sent perscription to the wrong meijer.
Eve Kennedy: I went to this facility on a Saturday night. It was nice and clean in there, there was only a handful of people, and the weight wasn't too terrible. I think it might have taken an hour which in urgent Care is nothing. They had vending machines so you can get something to drink or eat while you were waiting. The staff was very friendly to me.
Maddie Hunt: Was told I probably just have a bug and to just wait it out. Here I am now, 12 days into being sick and finally getting the antibiotics I needed. The only advice given to me by the doctor was what you teach a kindergartner (get enough sleep, be sure to drink water, etc). I was also told they didn’t have the equipment needed to run tests for me? What exactly is urgent care for then? Don’t waste your time and money on this place.
Amanda Fairbairn: Jenn was an amazing nurse with good advice.
Joanna Sprik: This urgent care used to be my favorite. They always treated me well and got me fixed up. The last few times I've went there, they have been dismissive and short with me when I tried to tell them what was going on with me. They also dismissed clear signs of a problem. I could have been healed and better by now but they didn't want to listen to me
Cewsday: Came to get my shoulder looked at. Expected a long wait already due to reviews. Had a long wait. It sure dusty in here. Nice staff but but I was waiting in the patient room for 40 minutes before someone actually came in to check my shoulder. Maybe they’re understaffed? Or just got swamped when I came.
Samantha Philley: The first time I went there the front desk nurse was extremely rude. However I had to go to get blood work done and everyone was very nice, and got me in and out very quickly.
Randy Garbrecht: In and out quickly. Great job. Thanks for the knee brace it’s helping me greatly.
Ezekiel Godfrey: Went in on Easter Sunday, got much needed treatment from Holly and Denise. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The level of care I received was top notch and left me feeling very confident in the abilities of the nurses and staff. Was very glad I decided to go and also very pleased that this urgent care was so convenient, close by, open at the time it was and staffed with great people. It was also very clean. I noticed the waiting room, exam rooms and bathrooms I used were all kept very clean. Thank you.
Adus Talton: Always busy and always felt insignificant BUT…Doctors are sending patients to lab after 5 bc hours on their end say open til 8pm. I mentioned to rep and her response “nothing I can do about that” No? REALLY? YOU DON’T HAVE ACCESS to creating a ticket with IT and informing them the discrepancy??? OH! WAIT! You do! I know! I’ve worked with said company! Tickets are SO FRICKING EASY TO CREATE and BARELY takes up your “it’s not my job” mentality. How about “I’ll let my manager know and tell tech” bc doing your “patients care” part of “triage” is in your “job responsibility”.
Tiffany Manross: I would really like to leave zero stars. Staff was actually great aside from the doctor. Who blatantly called me a liar and told me to go to the ER instead. This location will not help you and you won't learn that until you've waited 4 hours to be seen. Turned out he had every resource he could have needed to assist with my visit. He just didn't want to.
Meghan Owens: My fiancé fell off a ladder and potentially broke his arm. They made him wait for 2 hours, didn’t tell him they prescribed him any medication when he tried to fill his scripts the pharmacy said they never got it and when we went back to talk to anyone on how he could get those, they told him they didn’t prescribe him anything. When I called to talk to someone they said “Did you not communicate with him?” Which is great because they were not communicating with him, and instead of explaining anything to me about it, they were dismissive and condescending. Abysmal service, they do not care about anybody.
Grace Glemboski: Always quick and efficient. Thanks to Cajun for the most painless poke ever!
Sheila Nowicki: The nurse was rather use. But the doctor that we seen was awesome. Very friendly and through

Spectrum Health Walk-In Clinic: what do users think?
Maddy Dekker: The woman at the front desk was kind and thorough. The nurse practitioner was personable and attentive. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs quick but thorough answers!
Ashley Keys: Woke up in the middle of the night with an ear infection and my doctors office was closed. Was in and out in under 20 minutes. Highly recommend.
Kelly Williams: I scheduled an appointment for 12:20pm "that holds your place in line", it's now just about 1:20. It doesn't actually hold you a place in line, if they have walk-ins come before you show up they register them ahead of you the only thing it holds is if someone else is scheduled they can't jump the line ahead of you. Also on the weekend you don't actual see the provider it's all a virtual visit but have a machine that the provider can see in your ear nose and throat. None of this is stated on the website anywhere. The lady running ithere is super friendly and apoplectic.
Colin White: This place deserves more recognition. I had horrible strep throat that was aiming to take me out of the game. I was in and out of this place in 15 mins! The medical assistant was super nice. She confirmed it was strep with a swab, and I had an antibiotics prescription waiting only feet away at the pharmacy within minutes. Seamless operation... I love it.10/10 experience!!

Judith Coons: Everyone was so happy and helpful. I was taken right in and right out. The only thing is the foyer was so hot.
Nicole S: Quick. Very friendly staff. NP Tracy was fantastic.
Sarah Harrison: The location, the office and the staff were all fantastic every time we've been there. Highly recommend.
Abbey Magolan: Third time going there and they got me in and out in a decent amount of time!
Roxanne Slikkers: The staff were super friendly and the care was excellent
Melody J. Edwards: PA Pete Nguyen was thorough, explained things clearly. Staff were friendly..
Kayleigh Davis: Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I even got a care package.
Latoya Robertson: Really nice staff and they care about there patients well being.
Mr. Johnson: First time using but fast and friendly atmosphere
Nancy Ortman: Minimal wait time and the doctor and nurse were efficient and helpful. Love this place for my kids and myself
Brett Lemieux: I would go to the hospital 100 out of 100 times instead of wasting my time at a med center. Went there with sore throat. They didn’t diagnose me whatsoever. Fast forward 3 days my throat has only gotten worse and filled with pus. They were trying to get me in and out as fast as possible and clearly missed this massive pus filled gap in my throat and gave me no advice or medicine at all. If you need help after hours just go to the ER. Extra money but you’ll get the care you deserve. I have to now go to my real doctor today to get proper care so it’s a double trip regardless when I could’ve just gotten it fixed at the ER. Don’t recommend at all unless it’s something minor like a small burn or broken finger. EDITED after reading all these bad reviews I can’t believe this place is still open! They want you in and out as fast as possible and take your money. Absolutely pathetic establishment that should be shut down.
Tracie Reynolds: Polite, friendly, clean. These people were wonderful and got us in and out with an x-ray, a diagnosis and a referral to a specialist. Our time in and out was much less than expected considering the healthcare shortages currently. Way to go! Maybe we just got lucky or maybe these people are fantastic. Mike Nicholas, NP was great with my teenage son.
Erika Bogerd: Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere! Highly recommended!
Katie Iginoef: Check in was easy. Staff was friendly.
Jordan Gorney: Great experience overall but our room was very hot and we were in it for a while.
Melissa Vitkauskas: This is the fastest urgent care we have ever been to! In and out within an hour even with X rays. The doctor was friendly and didn’t treat you like a number. Very comfortable office!
Dylan Lindhout: Worst urgent care in Michigan. Went in for an infection on my calf after 2 weeks of putting it off, saw T. Moody the NP, and she barely glanced at my calf before dismissing it as poison ivy. Didn't listen to any of my reasons for why it can't be poison ivy, dismissed me while prescribing a lose dose steroid, and a week later my "infection" has spread further and I'm at a different urgent care. New urgent care said that the steroid Moody prescribed me would not even have cured poison ivy if it had been that. The level of knowledge and care here is an absolute joke.
Brenda Arnett: The service was fast and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable.
Cheryl Butler: Very friendly and punctual staff
Ricco Mulero: The lady at the front desk was very sweet and welcoming but once going to the back to be cared for, all downhill. The doc in particular acts clueless and provides the most minimal info in regards to your diagnosis. Avoid this location at all cost. There’s plenty other urgent care spots around town.
Cathy Young: Friendly staff. Knowledgeable and caring.

WellCare Urgent Care: what do users think?
Jennifer Albright: Felt very welcome and people working there took the time to listen and take care of me. Well come back if needed.
Neek Wabindato: Everyone was very nice and super helpful. They made me feel very comfortable about an uncomfortable situation.
Bob Stewart: I contacted them by phone to advise them of my dilemma and they assured me they could help. They were wonderful and helpful with my situation. I can’t thank them enough.
Kyle Jean: Staff was very nice and professional. I was seen in a timely manner. Was a pleasant experience during a non pleasant time.
Amber Stair: The staff is awesome! They were so kind. Very helpful and quick to get in. Definitely recommend.
Laura Woodruff: Friendly environment and fast and easy. Love it here!!
Pauline Buquet: Very good experience Here will definitely choose this place everytime if needed ..staff was very friendly helpful ...Dr was amazing I got the care I needed ..
V Coffland: I waited kind of a long time to be seen and the lights kept turning off in the rooms because I had been sitting & waiting for so long. I was really tired, sick, hungry, and needing to use the restroom but I kept thinking someone would come by any minute so I didn’t want to leave for a snack or bathroom break in case I’d miss them. (I guess next time if I go to this clinic I’ll go to the bathroom & eat beforehand because now I know it could be an hour or more before I am able to do those things). When I finally was seen...I know it was the end of the day but some of the physicians were pretty rushed sounding, and I felt like they were trying to hurry the conversation along. I’m sure it’s their job but after a long and hard day, being actively listened to could really make things just a littlest easier for your patients. Thankfully I got some medications to help with the illness which I appreciated.
A. Escalante: Efficient and effective service. Would recommend!
Jerry “BlackRanger” Kidd: Waiting along period of time, was there before others patients, sat in the waiting room over 30 min when leaving out I noticed that the other patients that were there after me was already gone. Very disappointing.
andrew steen: Staff was friendly and helpful, walk-in service was quick, and the whole process was very painless. Glad I came here.
Libby Tokarski: Easy in and out. Staff was very nice
Ron Musich: Very convenient. No wait. Very friendly and efficient people. Great decision to go there.
Fixxzle - Youtube: Very quick and very friendly!
Samuel Staehle: Fast, honest and professional. I was honestly skeptical as I have never heard of them, but they blew the spectrum health urgent care out of the water.
tracy gregory: absolute best care ever! never have I been to a better urgent care! from the minute I walked in the door to the care from the provider best experience ever!
Drew Walbeck: Very convenient; I had a prescription refill emergency, walked in with no appointment, seen immediately, very fast and helpful.
Joey Jacobson: By far the least professional, least timely medical office I’ve been to. I made an appointment ahead of time for testing. I showed up at 9:30 for a single test that I booked in advance and confirmed the time for. I did not get called back until 10:20, and sat in a room alone for twenty minutes before they got to me. Came to follow up two days later as I was told and was told that they needed a supervisor to read my test, when one was not needed the first time the test was done. Very inconsistent.
Xavier Delong: I was dismissed by then, to see my primary, and was diagnosed with scoliosis.
Rally Bennett: Very fast, very respectful, will go again!
Justin Moore: The PA Nick was great, listened to my concerns, very calm and great knowledge/customer service.

Spectrum Health Medical Group Urgent Care: what do users think?
Michele Morrell: Friendly check in staff. Medical assistant today (around noon) was exceptional and professional. PA (Ms. Fairfield) was excellent.
James Watkins: This location has always been my go-to since I was a kid. Unfortunately, I went in with a bad cold/respiratory virus and waited over an hour to be seen for 5 minutes and pushed out with anti-nausea prescription which wasn’t even one of my symptoms… very disappointed…
David L.: The registration staff might be the rudest people I've met recently--and that's saying something.I was waiting in the vestibule, speaking on my phone (on a business call), when a registration individual came up to me and interrupted my call. I didn't understand her as I was now trying to listen to two people at once. She interrupted me again demanding I put a mask on. Apparently her power trip was more important than my call. This fake nurse (they wear scrubs like they're medical professionals, when they're not) shouldn't be in a customer-facing position.
Ryan Butkus: I came in at about 4:30 PM for near blackout episodes. Waited for an hour for someone to see us, then the full testing took until 7:00 PM, only for them to tell me that nothing seemed wrong and that I needed to go to the ER. Terrible service, AND cost a lot for almost no help whatsoever.
Mark Barnhouse: Very friendly and competent care.
Vu R: They will upcharge you by writing the highest code to bill you. $430 just for the office visit with no testing done what so ever. It would have been cheaper to have just gone to an emergency room.
Phi Nguyen: On 7/20 I took my mother to Urgent care to be examined for ear pain. We were brought into the patient room at 12:52pm and told the doctor would be in soon to see us. We waited until 2:15pm until I came out and ask if someone was coming soon and a nurse said the doctor has one more patient until us. He came in at 2:40pm to quickly diagnosed her with ear infection in less than 10 mins. It was ironic that we waited 1 hr and 48 mins for a doctor at urgent care….we did not do a walk-in, our scheduled appointment was at 1pm.
Lily T: I get blood work here, and every time the nurses made it really painful to just receive a small amount of blood.
Lauren Harsh: I live close by and have been to this location at least a dozen times. With my son for croup, ear infections, and asthma flare ups. And for myself for pnemonia, bronchitis, a very very broken toe, and one time, covid! Each doctor we've seen has been patient and thorough. You can check in online and show up for your appointment time. Love that they are open late and on weekends. Not a fun place to be, but I am so appreciative of this place!
Debra Cramer: Thank you ever so much for seeing and caring for me when I was brought in with chest pain. An EKG was done quickly and referred over to the hospital where i had had heart surgery. Thank you for calming me down also. You ALL were awesome and would visit again when in the are. I was from Tn
Lynn Liberati: I would give this more stars if I could. I went there due to an unfortunate accident. So much care was given to me by all the staff. Special mention goes to NP Rebecca Reitberg who was fantastic with me. Took her time and was very patient. She was very thorough me. I would recommend this urgent care.
Michelle Vandenbosch: I would not trust this place at all!! I have been misdiagnosis twice and have never even been seen by a doctor there its always a nurse. Ill never go back!!
T Swain: Dr. Cunningham was really nice the x-ray was done quickly.
Savanah Williams: Came in this morning. They told us it would be an hour and a half wait for a doc to see our child for ear aches so we scheduled an appointment. Now we have been waiting 45 minutes after appointment in the vehicle when it's 14 degrees outside for them to call and say they can see him. The parking lot is empty and the other 5 vehicles in the parking lot have already left. We tried calling at 7:50 to figure out what was going on and couldn't get a hold of a person. 2 hrs after they close and no call at all even to let us know we wouldn't be seen.
Amy Frank: Car visits are marked however no one comes to check on you, there is no number to call to say you are here or how to proceed. I called the hospital switchboard operator who was trying to help me and was hung up on. I followed all signs to do a curbside visit when in reality I needed to pull up to the urgent care patient pick up to get actual care.
james huey: Quick service. Nice people. Couldn't have been better
Soo R: Very good!!!
Caitlyn Bryant: This urgent care is SUCH a blessing and super close to my house. My son has had MULTIPLE visits here due to complications with ear infections. Even the first time I was there I swear I was in and out with a prescription within 20 min. That's with check in, seeing a doctors etc. I should also add that was ON A WEEKEND! I didn't feel like they were rushing either! Those doctors KNOW that they are doing! The staff are always so sympathetic, caring and have helped me out on numerous occasions when my son was upset and screaming. As a single mom, having someone tell you "its okay" "we understand" goes A LONG WAY. Amazing staff, I hope their supervisors know what a great team they have.
Donna Hansen: Always speedy and friendly, use them for your non ER needs!
Jessica Harmon: Mr Hobson was wonderful! I can tell he cares about people and their well being. Service was fast and friendly.
K H: Again, the woman from Ellis parking working for Spectrum was rude and demanding about where I parked when I came to see my patient. She went so far as to stand in the elevator door to prevent my entry and demanded to know my name. What kind of police state is Spectrum health running?
