Nokomis Cultural Heritage Center (Nokomis Learning Center): what do users think?
Steve Rheaume: Great Native American museum. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. We'll worth a visit.
Doug Klein: Especially impressed with the information on "ricing." Never knew it was such an involved process!
Greetings Tour: Thank you so much to John for helping us with some historical information to create a more accurate depiction of the tribes that were based here on the East Lansing land.As full time traveling artists, we are often called out as “non-local artists” and find a lot of challenges relating to this during our projects. We often question the concept of what’s truly “local” and are happy to help share the story of those inhabiting this land way before the current society, university, etc.We hope that we did the imagery justice in the lettering!
Spencer Meyle: Wonderful people!
Into The Liminal Abyss Paranormal podcast: Great place, very knowledgeable staff and instructors
The Traveling Buddy: Very cool place lots of Indian culture there.
Autum Harrington: This is a wonderful place to visit, especially if you have little ones. They have elaborate exhibits that show the history of Native Americans. The staff is friendly and well informed. They have limited drop by hours, but during summer break this is a wonderful place to visit. Also, they have several events throughout the year that are worth keeping tabs on. Beautiful experience.
Denise Culham: It's a good place to learn about Native American cultures.
Elizabeth Gorecki: Ton of Michigan history and cool gallery/artifacts Very knowledgeable
MISTY MCGINNIS: Awesome materials on site. However they are not open during posted hours, and do not answer emails or voicemails
Paula Hill: Beautiful, educational and much needed within Lansing.
Talib “Jot Veer Singh” Cornelius: This is a fanastic place information is readily available. The staff very informed and beyond helpful.
