Trash Johnson: The front desk lady is absolutely horrible. Every word you share with her feels like you’re being rushed. She trips over her own words and thoughts because she is attempting to speak so fast. And it’s unnecessary because when you walk in there she is sitting on her computer or chatting it up with employees. Half the time she’s standing in the back talking to employees.She “asks” to put you on hold as soon as she answers and doesn’t wait for your response. One time I called for a quick yes or no question and was put on hold so I hung up after 7 minutes and called back. Then I was put on hold the exact same way for 20 more minutes.The only saving grace for this place is once you start allergy shots you don’t have to deal with their customer service again

Kim Garcia, PAC: My allergy doctor of 5 years retired at the end of 2021, so I was in need of finding a new allergy doctor. Dr. Ridhu Burton was recommended to me by a few of my own patients so I decided to give her office a try. Today was my first (consultation) appointment. All of the individuals that I encountered from check-in to check-out were warm, pleasant, and made me feel like I had been a longterm patient. Dr. Burton has a wonderful bedside manner, that immediately shows she truly cares about helping you get better. She is very thorough and attentive when taking your history and physical so that she can come up with the best plan of care for you. Because, all of the regimens I was on from my previous allergy doctor had started to become ineffective, Dr. Burton came up with a plan to ween me off of some of those meds to start me on a new medical regimen that she thought would provide more effective results. I am excited and hopeful for the outcomes. Because of my very positive experience at this office, I will not only refer my daughter here but also refer my own patients here. I highly recommend Dr. Ridhu Burton, if you need help with your allergies.

Eric Nelson: Hours should be updated on Google. Not open til 9AM. The doctors are wonderful as well as the professionals that administer the skin test. The main receptionist usually has an attitude for no reason, which is uncalled for. Most of the receptionists don't wear a mask until they walk up to you

Jose Cruz: Please be advised, if you have a more complex, non-typical allergy this doctor does not have the competency to treat you nor will he listen - will try to 'box' you into the usual allergy 'suspects' and, even if you already know or have a history of a known allergy, prescribe said allergy test. Staff and nurses are all A-OK though, so for typical 'stuff' then we guess it's ok based on the other reviews. Just in case, patient behind this visit/review has a Bachelor's of Science deg in Biology, with decades of well documented medical history...1st and last visit here.

Nolf ItsBearSS Yeet: Approximately 10 years ago, my boss sent me home from work because my allergies were so bad he thought I was sick. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Satish Gupta. I have been under his care since that day and I no longer struggle with my allergies at all. He put me on a regimen that corrected my problems. I never dread going into the office because everyone there is so friendly and I never sit in the waiting room for long, which is unusual for a specialist’s office. I also love that there is little turnover in the office staff so I know them and they know me when I go in. I highly recommend this office for your allergy solutions!

Casey Christman: I was referred to Dr Gupta via my primary physician because I had a severe (and now chronic) allergic reaction to the initial COVID-19 vaccine.Dr Gupta advised against getting the 2nd shot at my first visit stating I would most likely have a far worse reaction to the 2nd shot.Months later, I dropped paperwork off at his office to sign for a medical exemption for work due to my reaction.Dr Gupta called me that day and advised he would not sign the form and that he never said I should not get the second shot. He stated I should simply switch vaccines and have the 2nd shot of the other manufacturers vaccine administered. (Completely going against CDC guidelines which state you should not mix the vaccines and should not receive a 2nd dose if you had a severe allergic reaction to the first dose).His office then had the audacity to bill me for the “telephone consultation” which he initiated.Truly a low life move to send someone a bill for a 2 minute telephone call you initiated.

James “Sid” Richardson: I have been a patient of Dr. Gupta's for the last 25 years. In this time Dr. Gupta has always acted in a professional, competent, and caring manner. Discussing any concerns or questions that I may have is easy and is responded to with respect. Recently I had an appointment with Dr. Dave Gupta. IMHO he is professional in attitude, knowledgeable about allergy and asthma treatment, caring, friendly, and easy to speak to. The office staff are courteous and professional. I receive weekly allergy shots and I have never had a problem. I highly recommend this practice to anyone needing asthma or allergy treatment.

Brian Corson: They are very friendly and knowledgeable but aren't upfront with you about the charges ahead of time. Their allergy test costs about $400 and I had to pay that before my deductible would pay anything. In a day and age where healthcare is at a premium cost, they need to be upfront. This isn't the 80's anymore, it's 2021.

Aether Toast: A very nice and friendly service that gets on top of odd issues that might just crop up with allergies. Main issue had is the use of a really annoying and unreliable app that while it has been getting better is still frustrating in its inability to check in without multiple tries due to the app being stubborn or just refusing to acknowledge that you are near the clinic.

sandra h: If i could give a zero star review I would. My first appt they never consulted with me on changing lifestyle ideas on how to manage allergies. They also never informed me that food allergy scratch test is a 50/50 chance of accuracy! I was put through over 100 pokes on my back to find out that 1/2 of these were food testing. I would have opted to do food elimination diet, in which they recommended after testing!? They were very quick to persuade me into this very first appt and lied on how ling the process would take to perform. The dr seems nice but is really only interested in procedures that will pay out $1500 for 50% accuracy. I could take a educated guess and have same results. Do not allow this office to do this to your children! Some of the foods he tested for i never even eat!

Sandra Eaton: Office is easy to find always parking available, waiting and rest rooms are clean and comfortable, exam rooms are care for, staff are polite and quick to serve, Dr Avula, is friendly and provides knowledgeable information as to how the lungs work along with managing asthma while preventing attacks. I owe him a great deal of thanks for stepping up and helping me with the right treatment for my lungs vs what my Dr. advise.

Christina Maczka: I do not recommend Dr. Burton for food allergies, at least not when they concern a child. I took my daughter to her after she had reacted to multiple foods. She did a skin test, then told me she didn't need to do a blood test because it was obvious that she was allergic based on the skin test. She prescribed epi pens. I spent a year of my life avoiding the allergen for myself and my daughter at all costs - we went to a different allergist at that point who did a blood test that was negative. He explained that skin tests have a lot of false positives due to sensitive skin in children. We have added the "allergen" back into her diet with zero problems. My daughter also has something called FPIES, which was the reason for her reaction to another food. I stated that I was concerned about this and dr. Burton didn't seem to know what it was. When she tested negative to that food on the skin test, I was told that she wasn't allergic and I was fine to give it to her. FPIES can be very serious and it does not create a positive on allergy testing since it is a non-IgE mediated allergy. It's extremely disappointing that she would not know about this type of food allergy. She's a nice lady, but I advise against her to friends based on my experience.

Lauren Portteus: On a teleahealth appointment for my daughter, i got asked if im vaccinated against covid by the doctor who was supposed to be talking about MY DAUGHTER and her health. Im glad that dr. Martin Hurwitz cares more about my health than my daughters who had an allergic reaction to a medication she was taking.

Amanda Whitehill: Poor communication; they were not clear with us at all about our insurance, saying we needed a pre-approval. This was not even true, and come to find out they were out of network. Simply letting us know that when we asked them would have helped to prevent the high bill we also got stuck with that they refused to work with us on. Thanks for not looking out for us, the patient.
