Jay Pelc: This is such a great gallery! It seems to be always evolving, growing, and bringing something beautiful to Lansing. I've picked up a few items from the sales floor that I adore including owl pottery and a few owl paintings. They also have great jewelry and gifts for my family. The rotating exhibitions and education center are also a great way to interact with Michigan artists and students. The staff was very well educated and welcoming. I left with such a positive experience I decided to donate and volunteer!

Today's offering included photos and paintings by two local artists. Tastefully done. Highly recommend stopping in for a quick art fix as you are bound to find something you have not come across before. Very nice gallery.

Caroline Andary: Amazing! I showed up with a number of pieces and random frames from my grandparents’ house. We went through each one choosing the mat colors and frame that would suit the piece. All of the colors were beautiful and unique not to mention, looked much better than I ever would’ve come up with. At this point, I roll in and tell them to do their magic because I trust their ideas more than my own.Also, I couldn’t believe how reasonable the pricing was. I know that sometimes to frame something at Michael’s is $100 and a professional could charge $500. This is not the case at all at Absolute Framing. Seriously, just walk in and they will do the rest.

Great selection of items in the store, fun place and great finds!

Beth Avery: I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Saper Galleries. I took in an heirloom mirror to be repaired. It had a bad crack and it was slipping through the ornate frame. I checked out a variety of places, but Saper Galleries was clearly in a class by itself. Roy Saper assisted me and couldn't have been friendlier or nicer, as was his staff. Roy really took the time to carefully examine the mirror and let me know in detail how it could be fixed. The repair to the crack was expertly made, the mirror repositioned, and better fasteners attached to the frame with a new strong wire, and a brand new backing with bumpers. Roy even offered to give me proper hooks to hang it. It was repaired in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price that I could afford. I was emailed when it was ready and received a lovely thank you email after I picked it up. I was also impressed with the store. It is well designed and filled with lovely examples of their framing. Easy to get to and easy parking in the back, too. I will be sure to turn to Saper Galleries whenever I have a framing need or want to buy a special gift. Thank you to a great team!
