When we were considering his company, he came out to our home personally to give us a price based on the amount of things we had. On the moving day, his crew wrapped all of our furniture and computers with care. Just about everything made it in one piece and we are so thankful for the crew's attention to detail when moving. Even my delicate china set, guitar, keyboard, lamps, and oil painting made it without flaw! They also made sure that all floors and walls were protected throughout the moving process. When they arrived at our new home, they unwrapped the furniture and even assembled our bed for us. We will definitely be hiring DMD moving again if we ever move again. My truck was only my truck- No waiting 20-30 days to receive my belongings- waiting for others to fill the truck -no stopping at other places to load or unload more. No broker to send cheap movers who do not take quality care of belongings. Received my belongings across country in 3 days!My bill was less than the original quote, since I boxed some things myself. I really fell behind and could not box as much as expected- and they kindly boxed the rest of my belongings- when I was about to give up and cry (At 60 I do not move as fast anymore and really miscalculated what I could get accomplished).This company not only was compassionate and excellent in every way- they were the least expensive of any that gave me a quote (actually seeing and counting all I had to move). The only cheaper quote I received was a broker where there are hidden fees later and there are so many horror stories about missing and damaged goods and belongings not arriving until a month later (when not asked to store belongings).So- hands down, this is THE best, most reliable, understanding, fantastically priced, AWESOME moving company by far! Stephanie Navarro: The Cadillac Room is inside of Riverview Church, which is in Reo Town. I go to this church... it is a nondenominational church. It's nice. Come as you are. Has a coffee, tea & hot chocolate bar. Sermons begin @ 10am & usually let out 11:15-11:30. There are groups for younger ages. There are groups for women. There are live bands. There are all types of events that you can sign up for. It's an extremely comfortable church. I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere compared to a strict, by the book, hymns out of a hymn book, read the bible verses word by word w/o any interpretation, etc. The pastors are knowledgeable & so very friendly/personable. It's an extremely non judgmental zone!

Liz: We had our wedding reception here in Sept 2022. Everything was perfect! The communication leading up to the event was excellent, Leah was always helpful and responsive. The staff onsite day-of coordinated with our vendors so we didn't even have to think about anything other than the celebration. The venue is beautiful and guests made many comments about the space being perfect. I would recommend them to any others considering them for their events.

I can say this is one of the nicer place for an event in Lansing. Staff is super helpful and works with you to make sure you have what you need. Check them out if you need event space.

Melanie Smith: I wish I could give this venue a higher rating because it is beautiful and I loved my wedding and how everything turned out. So for the actual venue itself, I would rate it much higher. I love the repurposed hardwood floors, the bathrooms are nice and spacious, the garage rooms are a perfect way to break up the space for a big event like a wedding. Now comes the reason for such a low rating - the people and experience working with the venue. We were able to schedule a first meeting quickly despite COVID, and the event coordinator was friendly. We booked quickly after and once our deposit was made it was crickets. We would call and not hear back for weeks, eventually being told that they didn't have the staff to "man the phones" so everything went to the answering machine and no one checked that. When we did hear back, we would get information that was completely contradictory to what we had already been told, which created huge issues with other service providers, such as our rental company and caterer. The price of this place seems extremely reasonable until you start adding up the miscellaneous costs you incur because not much is included. DO NOT book this place if you are doing a wedding without a professional planner/coordinator. Just don't. If you do book here, get everything in writing down to the smallest detail so they cannot go back and tell you differently 4 days before your wedding. Lastly, our event was over a month ago and we are still waiting for a refund we were promised before our event even happened.

123 Wraichu (‪Wrai‬): Went recently with a group of 7 and played 2 rooms, Pharaoh's Revenge, and Tin Star Saloon. Each room was incredibly well-themed, and the puzzles innovative and intuitive. Highly recommend, the rooms they offer here are really neat!Tip: Don't be too proud to use clues, you get a certain number per room, there's no shame in using clues, especially if you're stumped!

Andy Nix: The escape room we did was Villain themed. It was a lot of fun. Very unique, teamwork based puzzles. They have many different themed rooms, plus they sell board/card games. I had never done anything like this. Our host was amazing. If you're looking for something different to do, gather a group of friends and get ready to have a blast.

We had a team of 5 at level 2 failed but we will get it right next time (hopefully).

They have a great variety of themes, and the employees are really good at knowing when to give hints so as to not make the experience too easy or too frustrating when you feel stuck.I really like the Wild West Saloon room, and Egyptian room! The details in these rooms are super impressive!I can't wait until they open The HAUNT experience!

Timothy Pinches: I've done several escape rooms before. But Challenges' "The Pharaoh's Revenge" was my favorite of them all. It had a very well-put together aesthetic, using lighting and decorations to set the scene very effectively. They also had an excellent set of puzzles in a variety of styles. Really, some of the best puzzle design I've seen in an escape room.

AM V: Probably the best escape room(s) in Lansing area. Been to all four of them. Staff and manager are friendly and very helpful. A must-go for escape room lovers. Some advice with spoilers:spoilersspoilersspoilersspoilersspoilers1) A group of 3-4 is recommended. There’s only once I get to room 3 with with a group of 2. With more than 5 ppl there may not be enough space.2) Difficulty level: Under pressure (many locks & puzzles) Budapest Express (third room, names) Cuban Crisis(visual, coordination)Antidote(pretty standard).3) Make sure you get to the second room within 15 minutes, reach out for help if not, or else it’s unlikely you’ll not get to the third room.4) The clues you get from room 1 may be applied for room 2-3, vise versa. Be flexible.

Kaycie Jones: My family and I, a party of seven, did the Under Pressure escape room. We picked it purely because of the time slot availability. It was great and super hard. We got into the last of the three rooms before we ran out of time. Don't think once you get that last door open you're almost done. You are not! Not by a long shot! The 3 free clues where very helpful and I wish we had used them sooner. We found out that this room has a 25% success rate so we're at least glad we found all of the tanks and got them into the last room before we said our goodbyes and died, LOL. We will be going back and trying other rooms next time we have a chance when we're in Lansing.

Greg Zenker: A group of 4 of us did this for the first time. It was quite fun. The room was clean and layed out well. It was different than what I expected, but in a good way. The room temperature was comfortable. The staff was friendly.

She was genuinely happy for us when my team escaped, with one minute to spare! Our game master was Matt, and he greeted us with a very friendly greeting upon our arrival. He was extremely helpful when I needed hints, and gave me the perfect amount of information without giving away the ending. If you find yourself in Lansing, I would definitely recommend Escapology. Karen Igel: We have been to 4 different escape room locations in Lansing. This location is my favorite because it just seems to be cleaner and nicer . Like the difference between a 5 star hotel and a 3 star hotel. They seem to put more money into each room, so I just prefer it here. The staff at all escape rooms in the area seem all equally great...but I would definitely rate Escapology as my favorite option in the area!
