Wharton Center for Performing Arts: what do users think?
Karen Jarrell: My daughter and I saw WickedI loved it! What a beautiful facility, I will definitely plan to see other preformances there.
K R: Great service, everyone was very helpful. I was able to buy a ticket at the box-office a few hours before the show. The staff there recommended a few restaurants to try that were near by and answered all my questions. The theater does not seem to have been updated for several years except the bathrooms, they have self flushing toilets. The down side is that it's on MSU campus.
Kaleigh Schneider: We saw Wicked. The seats were comfortable. I think there is not a bad seat anywhere in the place.
Mary Hudzik: Saw Wicked and it was the best musical ever
Nancy Litch: Wonder venue. Wicked was excellent.
Karin Klawender: Good acoustics. All seats are good. If you have difficulty with stairs do not sit in the grand tier. No elevator goes all the way up and I saw many people that have difficulty walking have to climb steep steps
Ryan “Q72”: Amazing seats throughout the venue!
Kate Good: My best friend and I went to see Wicked on Sunday! The staff is always helpful and friendly. Always a great experience.
Greg Jollifg: Wicked was awesome! Wharton Center was clean, friendly, and nice! Had a great time.
Donna Bemke: I have problems with my knee I only had to go down 5 steps did it with no problem had elevators on every floor only reason had to go down steps was where are seats were.
Lisa LAD: "Wicked" "WOW" - these professionals did not disappoint! Worth every dime, have not been disappointed ever paying for anything that has been put on by Wharton Center! Keep' em coming!
Debbie Cicinelli-Timm: Really enjoyed our opportunity to see Wicked again and walk on the campus of my alma mater
Leon Davis: Beautiful theater. Acoustics are finaminal!!! Stage and atmosphere was perfect. Wife and I drove from Ohio to Michigan to see "wicked". Great experience. Great show.
Laura B: We love seeing shows at the Wharton. There is not a bad seat in the house and, to me, it's more comfortable and affordable than seeing shows in Detroit. Added bonus, getting to visit MSU campus when we go.
jackie holler: Beautiful venue- good acoustics
Teresa Witkoske: Fantastic show. I had a wonderful experience!
Amanda Bell: We’ve seen Hamilton and Wicked here. Great venue.
Claire Belmont: Great choice of shows. Good seat selections and wonderful staff.
Bailey Miller: Great ushers and staff
Spirit Wolf: It was my first time at this place! I saw Wicked here with my family and it was incredible :) I highly recommend.
Mike Spencer: Absolutely the worst experience ever. They give the men''s bathroom upstairs away to women, I'm forced to go down multiple flights of stairs to use the restroom and then I'm 2 seconds late back to the door and I'm shut out of the show . I buy 4 to 6 sets of tickets to these fricking dam shows and now all done. This is pathetic to say the least. Never again.

MSU Auditorium: what do users think?
Shayla Le: Pretty lil building on campus. Need to explore it more because the architecture is so cute.
Michael Stieler: Pretty standard brick building on the outside. Great lot to tailgate for the games though.
Surprisarino Kripperino: It's raining heavy. I'm running fast to get out of the rain. There's a building just up ahead where I can take refuge. A dark figure seems to be in the doorway. I cant tell who it is. As I approach, I notice he has his head in his shirt as if he were hiding from the demons that tormented him. "Thank you for holding the door for me" the figure emerges from inside his shirt. Nick from sophomore year study hall shows his face. Out of sheer surprise and amazement I begin to cry. "Its okay ive missed holding the door for you, dont cry my child. Nick lifts up his shirt and begins breastfeeding me as im crying. I'm so happy. Ive never stopped holding the door since :,)
Nickolas Gonzo: MSU Auditorium has space but old inside. It can get hot and crowded fast for example attending a high school graduation. It's not the worst but not the best if you're claustrophobic. I also recommend going to the bathroom because restrooms are not quick to get to and can be hard to find.
Morton Chalom: Wonderful Lyman-Briggs graduation ceremony for my son! Clear views of the stage and excellent audio. Also with easy-to-read real-time voice-to-text for the hearing impaired.Easy entry and exit. Everything was well-organized.
Charles Wilkins: Great tailgate there!!
Bob Ramos: Very entertaining experience
Jon Dymond: Great school , auditorium fantastic
James Brunt: Enjoyed the facilitates.
Dave Badia: Old and charming. Very intimate.
charlie reiber: Nice place.
Nick Clarizio: Spacious and well kept venue.
Gratan16: Great venue for a performance
Leigh Grossmanpayne: Hot, no air
Mary Birdsall (Growl42): A lot of walking and it was extremely hot inside
Stephanie Pierre: Best place for graduations and other special events. Lots of seating! The only thing is their ventilation system. It was so hot and musty last weekend for Waverly graduation ceremony of 2019
Holly McGolly: Small music venue. The tiered seating is fine, but the floor seating is flat, so even with how close you are, there can be people blocking your view. Sounds fine.
Rachel Graft: So proud of 7th & 8th Grade Science Olympiad - 2019
Susan D Chemey: Large and small performance spaces on the MSU campus.
Karen Mater: Saw a wonderful play presented by the MSU students. I loved that parking was free, unlike the Wharton Center. It is an old building with great charm.
Garyt with a T: Gorgeous

SteveLaura SpeesBon: MSU student theater is doing Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods. The cast is great in a musical that requires great enunciation. It plays through 2/23. Check it out if you have a chance. See it at the beautiful Fairchild Theater.

Kedzie Hall: what do users think?
Shayla Le: This building is actually really cute. I went in and the halls seem kind of grimy but there’s nooks that are super comfy. The bathroom at first looks unsettling but it was clean and nice.
Tonino Pacifico: Classic MSU
Douglas Anesuishe Chikwanda: Just a good hall ig
Bob Ramos: One of the best places on campus
Hussain Alwael: Great lecture memries

And if you’re BLD we’ve also got all of the professors and advisors in one place! Any questions for anybody about anything? This is the place to go.

The Robin Theatre: what do users think?
Chris S: Cozy space that hosts various events. I've been there on the weekend when it sells books, but most often I'm there for the Créma-torium Café & Cinéclub. I'd like to try to make it to other events.I love how welcoming the place is, from the space itself to the people running it. At the beginning of one show, the co-owner literally said, "YOU are welcome," to ensure that no matter who you are, you are welcome in the space. There's something about someone stating it so plainly that makes it so powerful. I appreciate that sort of thing.
Beau Brockett: This can quickly become your comfort place to go to. The owners are so kind, the acts are myriad, the space is cozy, and the sound is crisp and not too loud. It really feels like a place that values community, both inside and outside the theatre. The bookstore in this venue is also solid.
Ben Traverse: great lil venue with an owner that cares a lot about community, art, and culture.
G: I love love love coming here. Not only do I find amazing books each time I visit, the human who works here is just the cutest nicest person. Come for the books, but stay for the chats!
Miranda J: Very nice
Marilyn Bowen: For a 64 year old the chairs got uncomfortable. Other than that all was good
Alyssa Slocombe: We saw a great band had a good time chilling back and enjoying the music
Richard Hill-Rowley: Intimate listening space. Rachael Davis was fabulous
Trishia Watson: Came here on a whim while waiting for our table at the diner next door. Great decision! Awesome selection of books for reasonable prices. Among those a vintage Michigan cookbook for $4. I believe we spoke with the owner who thanked us for our patronage. We have an upcoming trip planned and will return.
Doug Herig: Great time for sure 👍 👌
David R. Austen: Entertainment and management and interior design was top drawer.
Nola Warner: I love the hospitality of the staff. The acts Robin brings to the Lansing area are simultaneously sophisticated and humble. I'm so grateful for all the work they do to bring fantastic shows to our town.
Dawn C: Very friendly home town feel. Great people and a fun place to see a show!
Heather Moore: Personable host, beautiful and historic location and comfortable ambiance. Will recommend until I'm blue in the face. Don't forget about the bookstore on Sat and sun 🤙
Chelsie Boodoo: Great people and venue!
Peggy Dunn: They're trying their best to get through this pandemic safely. We felt safe and enjoyed an evening out at long last.
Steven Glynn: Very intimate venue, not a bad seat in the house! We've gone to about a dozen shows and always had a great time. The acts are a good mix of genres and national and local talent. The sound is managed very well and i've never heard it get too loud or uncomfortable at any shows. I would highly recommend!
Brian Ruskauff: Mind blown by the most titillating, genuine, and rock solid performance ever for a small venue. Will be back for many more.
Rich OBrien: Great venue, great artist...
brenda m greenhoe: Intimate setting with great ambiance and good sound..
Linda Bennett: This is a small and intimate theater excellent we're listening to small groups. Interaction was great between audience members and the group.

Michael Conway: Nice cozy seating. Good acoustics. Thanks for coming through for Sistrum emergency concert. Only negative is really limited parking.
Phillis Mullins: Seats are not comfortable for larger people.
Michael/Dawn Welch: An absolute Lansing gem. Reasonable tickets, talented actors, clean, modern theatre. Worth purchasing a season ticket!
Alana Retzer Brinker: The black box is cramped with seating, so get there early!
Mary Avery: The best, so glad to have this gem in Lansing. Enjoy the current play. Can't wait to see what is up next. There will be a whole season this year.. tonight is saw Bell, Book and Candle. It was so entertaining. Love it. Can't wait for peter and the star catcher

Ralph Reznick: Great small community theater. Excellent venue.
Sarah Wright: Great local little theater to go for a good time...🎥🎞📽🎬....volunteer opportunities available and possibly a chance for your own personal debut....
Mark Tulk: An intimate main house, 3 sides of the stage, but large enough to present important shows. The "Black Box" theatre presents smaller, new, or experimental works.Loyal volunteers, and techs from University and local media, make "professional" results.Opportunities for new or young talent are here, volunteers welcome to the Lansing Theatre "Family".Excellence is consistent here.
Kay Dietrich: Performing here in "All Together Now!" was an absolute joy not just because of the fantastic cast, but the volunteers, facilities, and sense of community. They really do put the "community" in community theatre. The facilities are welcoming, clean, they take public safety seriously and go above and beyond to make sure that coming back to live theatre is a safe experience for all. I can't recommend seeing or auditioning for a show or volunteering with Riverwalk enough.
Tarita Nelms: My husband and I were in the audience of Doubt this past Friday night and it was nothing short of AMAZING!!!! We were warmly welcomed, complimented and assisted while attending the theater. We enjoyed the experience immensely and look forward to returning soon!
Radomir Milosavljevic: Love the shows....awesome place
Shannon Stauffer: I've been here a handful of times and have enjoyed every performance. They have a great cast and crew, and it shows! I look forward to many more performances!
