After a false start with another bindery which had been recommended to me, I found Hoag & Sons' and some other binderies on-line. I was hesitant to deal with complete strangers in another state, but Kristen soon put me at ease. She was very helpful. Kristen was patient with my novice questions and prompt in all her responses.We received the bound volume a few days ago, and it looks great. The production team did a great job. Everything was on-time and on-budget. For a one-time project, I thought the price was very fair.I do not get many opportunities to make a recommendation regarding a bindery. Well, no opportunities yet. However, if it ever comes up, Hoag & Sons’ will be the only name on the list.

With decades of experience, I would highly recommend their cot-effective solutions to preserving documents, hands down, the best I've seen!

Sara Marie Swan: If you are considering employment here....I would reconsider. The procedure and policies (or I should say, lack thereof) are borderline at best and the accounting controller is an absolute maniac. As far as the printing production quality....I would also go elsewhere. You will be able to find the same quality of prints at a much cheaper rate elsewhere in the greater Lansing area. I worked for this company for 5 months before I accepted another job position, which I was actively looking because this company is so chaotically run it's insane. Not to mention, the "higher ups" treat the employees like they are worthless. The morale is so low at this place I don't know how they still operate.

They were so helpful, professional, and prompt. It only took a few days to print everything. The price was very competitive and if I ever have a future printing need I will definitely come back here! Can't say enough great things about them.

Mark Ceasar: We have called on Budget for our printing and advertising needs for over 10 years and i must say none of my vendors work as hard as they do to get you the right products and services.The concern for customer needs goes beyond what you will find at Any type of business. On a few ocasions im sure he couldn't have profited more than a few percent going out of the way to spend so much time on my projects and doing what had to be done to get my materials on time. I had to have 100 multipage binders and catagory info sheets by morning of 3rd day. They constructed a plan to have them shipped to my location overnight and called ahead to make sure the delivery was taged for me!! This is just one occasion!Any of the poor reviews ive happened to see here are just petty selfish individuals who have no consideration or understanding for real business to business function. As for quality we haven't seen any better out there as long as we've been buying print to this day period.

Evan Pohlmann: Nothing "Budget" about this place. Obscenely overpriced. They're running this "business" from a closet. It looks terrible inside. As much as I like to patronize small businesses, take your printing job to either MSU's print center in the Library or to FedEx on Michigan Ave. Not worth your time.
