Matt Anderson: In response to Robert Half: It wasn't that I was unhappy with the position I was offered. I was unhappy with the service provided by Robert Half employees. From the agent I was assigned to (who ghosted me once I started asking questions) to the assistant vice president who wasted my time further. The position would've been fine if I would've been told the truth from the beginning. I have no intention of taking this further. I brought up my grievances with the assistant vice president who seemed disinterested in getting to the bottom of my complaints until I expressed interest in taking it over her head. I've already sent an email to corporate long ago with no response. Thanks for the response though. That is the most professional courtesy I've been awarded by your company. Maybe you should see the pattern here with these reviews and do something about it.For reference: I have an impressive resume with years of administrative experience, schooling, and references. I scored nearly 14,000 alpha-numeric characters/hour on their typing test, which I'm told is the highest they've seen at that office. If this is how they treat me then imagine how they might treat some one with less to offer.I had originally stayed clear of Robert Half because of the overwhelming negative reviews. It wasn't until I was approached by them on Indeed that I fell for the trap. They offered me a data entry position that didn't pay very well but had some perks that made it seem worth it. Most of what I was told that was alluring about the position happened to be "half-truths". For example: I was told that there was a possibility of working from home. Get to orientation and find out that, while it's true, you have to be hired in. Since RH has a 4 month contract you have to at least be a temp for that long before you can even apply for an open position. After talking with permanent employees asking why they weren't working from home you find out that it's actually quite rare to be able to do that. There's also "you don't have to talk with customers" which is also technically true but they leave out where you have extensive contact with customers but it's all done via email. Stuff like that where they are vague enough to not be considered untruthful. I suppose I should've asked more questions beforehand. There was a reason this was a high turnaround position which they also conveniently leave out of their pitch. Out of the 8 people that started same day, less than half were still there Friday.After bringing up some concerns about the position, I inquired about how long I was obligated to stay there since I had no intention of trying to become a permanent employee. After two days, it became apparent that I had been ghosted by my staffing agent. I returned my work badge the following day and thought that would be the end of it.Almost immediately after dropping off my badge, I get two phone calls, a voicemail and a text message from the assistant vice president of the office to speak about other offers. Shocked, I reached out to her specifically only to be blown off again. I was absolutely fine just being done with them after dropping off my badge. They frantically reached out to me three separate times only to blow me off. I wish this was the end....About 30 days later I get a phone call and voicemail from the original staffing agent that ghosted me. I thought this was a joke and sent an email informing her of her mistake without a response. Two days later I get an email offering me the same job that I left prior from the same staffing agent that ghosted me.Incompetent and unprofessional are understatements. They lack common sense and legitimate customer service skills. As a temp. you are just a seat to fill and nothing more. It doesn't matter your qualifications. There are plenty of agencies in the area with people that actually at least pretend to have a modicum of professional courtesy. Robert Half of East Lansing is by far the worst in the area. Avoid at all costs.

Erika Mahoney: Excellent experience with the staff and they know there postions and they ask you what you are looking for! Amber has gone above and beyond to assist me and was upfront about stating I can put you in postion tomorrow that your so overqualified for or let me contact the permanent placement team in Michigan. They called and she has kept me informed every step of the way and has been so helpful and polite! She’s exsactly what a exceptional recruiter does with a qualified candidate in a few areas! I am so happy with the postions we have been working on for me and for her taking the time to call me and update me! Being a person with a Master’s in HR and having done federal government recruitment I know how busy and crazy things can get very fast! They are the best of the best don’t waste your time going anywhere else but here! Apply online to a position and they will follow up quickly!

NinjutsuDensho: Nice enough people but they suffer from the same problem as other RobertHalf locations. Completely unreasonable requests of workers. Take the persons resume, match it with a suitable job, arrange the interview and be done with it. It's not complicated. This company Loves to add lots of unnecessary RobertHalf requirements in between you and your hope of landing that sweet just above minimum wage job some of which are ...Unbendable requirement of a minimum of 3 written personal recommendations from former bosses, (-1 Star) wanting to talk with a former boss about why I left a job where employee was a friend of a deceased relative (No, you can not bring my deceased relative and their friend who works there into your requirement for offering me a $10 an hour job). They were informed of the inappropriateness of their request and their response was "Do you still want us to represent you?.(-1 Star) Assessments, No I am not going to do 3 hours and 10 minutes of "Assessments" (Do you know how to use a computer type of assessments, complete waste of time in the modern day) just to be "put in your system". (-1 Star) Making me come in-person multiple times to meet with them. To what end? What are we discussing? Is your Skype/Email/Txt/Phone broken? You either have a job for me or you don't, there's no middle ground (-1 Star) Don't waste peoples time, and more importantly; person reading this, don't waste your time using this companies services. I have over 6 years experience dealing with this company.

Joddi CP: Couldnt say it better than the previous reviewer. I know first hand - 2 years I've been a model employee for one of their big clients...wish I could get that time back. Employees only qualify for paid holidays if you work overtime (2100 hours in last 12 months) This company needs to be investigated for exploitation. Stay away!!!

victoria hernandez: Horrible. They only care about getting money. They also lie about the job, the pay is extremely low and totally out of your chosen field. I would highly recommend that people start advertising to the employers directly to cut office team and other staffing companies out. They are actually competing against us and they are getting money for absolutely nothing. They do not care if you've been temporary for years without a paid vacation, benefits, or stable income. Also, they do not care about the work situation being hostile or poor conditions. Whatever, your industry go advertise directly to the public and the employers.

He asked the right questions and didn't want to push me into some job I wouldn't be happy in. I've always had good experiences with Aerotek but Jackson was the best rep I've worked with so far. William smith: They do not listen very well and don’t actually do much. Just people who can’t get jobs trying to get others jobs, they will get you a good position but I’d say it’s about 30% chance you’ll get it. They pressure you into doing something you don’t wanna do if you don’t get the first one, Took me like a week to get a good job on my own after trusting them, just wasted my time. Not trying to be rude just real. They make millions from it. Just my opinion, I’d rather goto a staffing agency. Hope this helps.

Mike Couture: I had to deal with Matthew Allen on my particular experience. I was given a call.. went over what I was looking for in a job/career. Supposedly was lining up an interview for me then fell through at the end. Which is okay, I’m understanding. After about a week I had to call him back to see if there are other opportunities out there. Again he was trying to line up an interview. Didn’t end up happening again. Then I reached out again through phone and he never responded. Pretty sure I sent him an email as well and he also didn’t respond to that. So if you want someone to not get you a job and give up on you, then he’s your guy!

Webster Ndovie: Spherion was a great jumping point to starting a new job in the Lansing area. I was able to start the job when it suited me best, and had open communication with Spherion if I had any problems. Erin was great with communicating and keeping tabs of all you needed to do to get hired into the position.

Shawn Eckhart: They didn’t place me at all, nor did they think I could do their recruiter job. I followed up and got stalled. Weeks later, I see the office posted some social media jobs I would’ve been interested in. I was taking online classes. I never heard from themagain. I did reach out and there werejobs I should at least be told about. You never stayed in contact with me. That’s just bad business. I’m not going to base my worth on what someone only sees on a resume. Even you got a chance, as I know you don’t have an HR background. If you’re about putting people to work, you’re not very good at it.
