Emily Sonnenberg: Ian took amazing care of us! We got there a couple mins early but he was ready for us right away. He took our internet down from $140 to $40. He also transferred our phone service with our same phone number from Verizon to Xfinity mobile very quickly and smoothly. Ian also got us the best deal possible when we traded in our phones to upgrade the iPhone 14 Pro. Ian explained every detail in an easy way for us to understand and made sure we fully understood all of the fine print. We are now saving $200 per month on our internet and phone service! We could not be happier! 100% recommend this Xfinity service center and especially the employee who worked with us, Ian!

Ellen Jesko: They will put a ton of screw holes in your siding and leave the outside of your house with wires hanging from the previous install. Be aware that they don't use calk so you will have leaks and carpenter ants. If I did want the wires off my house I will now have holes in my siding. They dont explain this before hand either. Hailey Amarie: I asked about turning my equipment in due to having to stay in the hospital because of my disease they said I could absolutely turn it in. It took around 3 minutes and I thought it was super easy. What I’m upset about is no one ever told me about a huge cancellation fee of any kind before I signed the recipt for turning in my modem. Now I’m stuck with an over $300 fee that continues to be charged every month while I’m in the hospital. I’m so stressed out over this.

Mark: Went to talk to someone to reduce my bill. My first attempt I used their appointment scheduler, was in the parking lot when I got my 15 min alert and checked in. Over the next hour of waiting I saw 3-4 people that came in after me get helped so I left and came back the next day when they opened. Anxiously waiting for a fiber alternative to arrive in my neighborhood so I can drop them.

Stephen Fiddie: The store employees were nice. This one star is for Comcast Xfinity. I had 6 months left on my promo, when I went over the internet data limit, I decided to add the unlimited option. It cancelled my promo when it shouldn't have and customer service said they can't fix it. Only option was to pay more for either an upgrade or downgrade and still pay more. This company is cancer, to large to actually care about it's customers and offering new customers extremely large discounts over loyal customers is a backward approach to retaining sales and brand image.

Jack Hurlbut: I just came in today to buy me some home internet, had an appt for 4:15. The employee sent a "confirmation text" to my phone which was just a webpage asking for a credit/debit card to pay the $50 deposit because they don't trust us as customers. After I paid that the employee was experiencing technical difficulties with the system and could not get my account set up. Over an hour had passed and I was frustrated as I work all week and didnt want to spend my evening in that store. I just wanted to get my card refunded for my $50 they took from me, but that took another 30 minutes after they contacted their online support team. In the end, I still did not receive my refund and was told "they would zero out my account" and I left empty handed with no internet. Companies are very quick to take your money, but providing the service or returning their money proves to be very difficult for them. Comcast has had a terrible reputation for mistreating customers for years, and I was foolish for giving them a chance.

les vanalstine: While I complain about the cost of my xfinity service every month, today was the first time I went into the store in Eastwood Towne Center. I sat my remote on the fireplace and it melted! I went to the retail store expecting to have to deal with a "robot" person, poor service, etc.. I was promptly greeted with smiles from everyone, they chuckled about my melted remote, gave me a new one and treated me with respect and a valued customer.I was not expecting such friendly knowledgeable service. I would go back just to say hi and enjoy their spirit!
M L: No help. You can't get any assistance at this store because it is only for sales. You can't get assistance if you call Xfinity because of high call volume or if you get through your call is cut off.

I stood in line for over an hour because of your lack of staffing. During that time, Donte did his absolute best to get customers taken care of while continuously sincerely apologizing to those of us still waiting in line. Once it got to be my turn, he was knowledgeable, professional, and timely with me. Completed what I asked him to do without any issues. I’m sure that his position is a pretty thankless job and I want to make sure he is recognized for being a great employee.In regards to Xfinity as a company, they 100% deserve a 1 star rating. I was in the store today to cancel my account because Xfinity failed to send me the correct devices I ordered 3 times in a row. Like really… how is that even possible? I was reassured after the first mistake that it couldn’t possibly be wrong with the replacement they were sending the second time. Said ok, I get mistakes happen, send it to me. Sure enough, wrong again. Got put on hold for a half hour the 3rd time for them to get to the bottom of how it could have been wrong twice. Said they figured it out and that they physically verified my order would be correct the third time. Well, that was wrong too when it showed up. Mind you each time they sent a different incorrect product. Only Xfinity could screw up this badly. Seriously they deserve an award for being able to fail so badly.

I arrived at 6:10 just as another customer was leaving and was told they were closed - summer hours. The sign on the door said 6pm. Would have been nice to know before I wasted my expensive gas! Jason Vawter: Between service issues and poor customer service, I would recommend utilizing a different company for internet service. Our company is in the process of moving locations and when attempting to move the locations I was notified that they could not provide my service that I am paying $50 per month for but they could upgrade me to a service I don't need for more than $110 per month. The salesperson Jim told me that he would go through the motions of offering me the service at the escalated price but all I had to do is refuse and they would terminate my contract since they could not provide the original service at the new location. A couple days later the same salesperson Jim told me that I would have to fill out a form for cancellation but would have to pay an early termination fee. Even though I would be happy to continue service with them as I currently have it, I have been refused that option. This would fall under the category of corporate greed. They would rather steal a few hundred dollars from me rather than do the right thing and terminate the contract for service they are not capable of providing. This is a local business I would encourage you to stay clear from!

I eliminated all my lag time, and was able to free up so much of my time throughout the day!Just the amount of time ACD has saved me with a rock solid connection has been so great. Anthony Lewis: Well something I never do is call in and complain about one of their employees driving skills. But as I tried to do that today they apparently don't care about safety on the road. One of their vehicles was going 60 in a 45 it was the only way I could keep up to get their license plate to make a report. He was weaving in and out of traffic and playing on his phone on top of it. License plate was DE 39388 not like they care. But it's Friday morning 8:40 and he's rushing down Martin Luther King drive at 60 mile an hour weaving in and out of traffic

Kyle Leemon: We have had ACD for over a year and the speeds have consistently been very strong. No issues, even with the heavy wind and rain storms. The technicians who installed the fiber cable and small box were professional and did a great job keeping the site clean. I was a bit hesitant at first but at this point have no regrets on making the switch. I've read other reviews and feel its worth mentioning, I am not an employee or connected with ACD in any way. I've noticed the service might not be the most friendly but the times I've called for installation and setting up my online payment, they answer my questions and get the job done. Definitely worth checking out!
Dagan Bowers: This company did work in my neighborhood. My neighbors yard looks like it was never touched. Mine on the other hand looks awful. When I called to ask that it be fixed they said they would send someone out. All they did was put grass seed over it. There is still a mound of dirt and it looks ridiculous as it’s in my front yard. Not satisfied.
Central Drug: Great service! I have VoIP phones and rely heavily on high quality internet at my two pharmacies. The fiber from ACD has been wonderful. I experienced same day repair when a local construction project took out my service.

I have had some technical issues and they have always been prompt, professional, and nice. Yesterday Jose came out and was able to fix my cable box issue and he was great!

He even created a guest wifi for my friends to log onto when they come over. For my direct tv he made sure everything was running properly. He was very thorough and I was so thankful he was able to help me out. He even told me to not hesitate to reach out in the future if I have any other problems. Thank you so much Jose!

Marcia Hoover: I terminated my wow service back in 02-23,I sent their modem back with their address label through Fedex,along the line either Fedex lost the modem or wow did. Now wow is sending me a bill for the modem.what can I do?
Dawn Church: This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with! My price was a fixed price 2 years ago and every time I turn around it goes up for no good reason! And it just went up another time with my new bill! All they provide me is internet and not good service at that!!

Kept having to give the same information more than once like name, and zip code to the same person. Get told 4 different times when tech was supposed to come out to help by the tech support people. When asked for a supervisor the person was giving me excuses. Poor POOR customer service. They need better training.
Samuel Carvalho-Ruehle: This is horrible... I hired wow and they had to install a line from the pole. Left the wire on the ground for weeks... finally got them out to put the line under ground and they said this is temporary and we will have to come back to do it correctly... rodents proceeded to chew through the 20 feet of line they left exposed. A tech came out to do a temporary fix and said that they will come back to replace the entire line again the correct way. After 2 months of calling them with intermittent internet issues they finally came back. But instead of replacing the line they hid the temporary connector under ground and left about 10ft of line exposed laying across my grass and closed out the work order. This is pathetic... Now I have to get my lawyer involved...
Misty Tomlinson: The worst company ever. Called and set up an appointment to fix TV technician came out and said there's nothing we can do because you have to upgrade to a new box. So they made me call and set up another appointment to get an upgrade. Then when I called to set up an upgrade they would not help me until I had some information.

J.: The absolute worst internet provider I've ever been forced to use. If you're lucky enough to get working equipment, the service is fine.But good luck canceling and returning the equipment. Or talking to customer service for anything.I work from home, and for the first 8 months of service, I had to call a ridiculous number of times for support for dropped connections.Customer service is nearly impossible to speak to. All they provide are the same canned responses. Zero common sense. They should just use AI robots to answer their call centers.After about 20 tech support calls with them actually gaslighting me (saying that it wasn't their problem or their equipment and it must be my house), I finally got a tech out. He was shocked that I even had service with how bad the equipment was. He gave me new equipment and verified that it actually worked. The connectivity and service were great after that. I was actually disappointed when I had to move and switch to a different provider.Until the equipment return process happened and I've had to call customer service again. And again. And again. I had to call 2x just to get the box sent to me to ship the equipment back. It took weeks. To make matters worse, there is no way to hand the equipment to a human and verify they received it and not get charged. No. You can either ship it (if you can get yourself to a FedEx drop box. No, they won't schedule a pickup) -or- drive all the way out here and drop it in an unmanned drop box that they allegedly check at 6pm every night. Then you just have to hope it was received? I returned my equipment and was still charged over $400.Update: it has been over 2 weeks since I returned my equipment, and I still haven't received my money back. In fact, they don't do refunds - they send you a prepaid credit card. Mailed to my old address. And I have to wait another 7-10 days to receive it (if the USPS reroutes it. Also, I can't pay my bills with a prepaid credit card, so this is a huge issue. Wonder if I have to get a lawyer involved.
E C: I've had WOW for years unfortunately. It's the only option for broadband I have. Trash unreliable service. Customer service is contracted out of the country, only existing to say "sorry sir we're working on it". Stay far way if you can.
Cameron Badders: Okay so the thing about Wow is a real strange thing. You can sit there and call them and call and call about your internet barely working for a month straight, and they’ll give you the same ole “unplug and plug it in.” And then when it finally starts working is when you call and tell them you’re going to cancel. Not a problem now at all, all of the sudden, after a month of not working it suddenly has been working no flaws for a week straight, it’s just so odd. So if you want to get your internet working start the cancelation process, it’s kinda like magic or something I dunno. It’s easy to assume they’re complacent on pretty much having a monopoly on high speed internet in the Charlotte area. I wonder if it’d be this difficult if they had competition.

Travis Warner: I've had WOW! Internet for almost 9 years and haven't had too many complaints. The last few months there has been huge drop in the quality of service. We have sporadic outages multiple times per week, if not daily. I hate to switch providers but it's reached the point of becoming too unreliable when my wife and I both work from home. WOW! Needs to invest in whatever it takes to resolve these issues because the recent service has been unacceptable.

Raissa Carvalho-Ruehle: The service is constantly breaking and going offline, and customer service is the most untrained people that I ever had to deal with. Also, they don't care about what you say, just try to go through they cheat list of question, no linstening, decision making, or thought in the process.
Cody Coats: Constant shutdowns with no explanation as to why and only charging more and more for worse service. Only reason im still with them is theyre the only service in the area.
c s: Service is terrible. Paying way too much for a service that works about 25% of the time. Have to unplug my router every 15 minutes while trying to get anything done. Sick of this service and I would switch if I could. If you're looking for Wifi, go anywhere else if you can**Edit to add**We did contact their customer service per their comment on this review. They did lower our price a bit and the wifi worked for a whole week straight! It's been about a month and a half now though and the service is even worse than before. It's been completely out for 2 days now. This is a terrible company with terrible service the only way they stay in business is by having monopolies over small towns and apartment complexes. Avoid them at all costs.
D. P.: Internet service goes out all the time (at least 4 times per month) for the price we pay. Always on hold for over 10 minutes every time we call, and never get talk to anyone in the United States when we do get to talk to someone. When we do get to talk to someone, the only thing they ever have us do is a modem restart. Modem restart is not the answer for everything that is wrong with your company and internet service that you claim that you provide.
Kathy Chase: The service seems to go out quite a lot lately. Sure would be nice if it could be a bit more dependable.
