Steve Burtis: Contacted Gary reference bathroom vent fan parts. Apparently I interrupted Gary's day and he was in no mood to answer questions about the parts I needed. If I remember correctly his response was "Listen! I'm not going to sit here and explain to you what needs to be done." I assumed I was talking to an hourly employee who didn't care about what a customer thought of the company. I asked if he was the owner and he said he was. I told him he must be doing well and didn't need my business. He had no response so I ended the conversation. Never calling him again.

Stephen Aseltine Jr.: This is a great place to work at as far as the company goes and the owner Scott is a great guy, laid back and very understanding individual. He treats his employees well, pays decently well and gives generous raises based on you.Cons-The manager at the Lansing branch is a good guy all around, one of the better bosses I've had. But he micromanages a lot & poor communication skills at times. He doesnt understand FMCSA regulations and procedures. Your operating a commercial vehicle (box truck) that you must stop at scales, have secured loads, proper pre trip inspections and proper maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle itself. He does none of that and perhaps wont even let you secure your load in a sense, or question you about what your doing it for. The company trucks at Lansing store are not up to par per DOT and FMCSA as well.With that being said its a chill place to work, decent job, small company, like 10 employees in total. ALL of the employees their are super laid back and easy to get along with and work with. I would consider everyone at MI Electric to be great people. Scott will treat you well whether employed their or purchasing their. Scott is a very fair and courteous person and in his business practices with myself he was all of these and more.

Tom Hering: If I could give this company a negative number I would. Absolutely the worse customer service I have received. The sales person was beyond rude and it was clear he had no intention of even trying to help me find the products I was looking for. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years and this offensively impolite and ill-mannered gentleman was one of the worse sales person I have ever spoke with.
