Anderson Nature Park: what do users think?
Jennell Long (Jennell Quinn): Nature in town
Adam Simmer: Some of the best hiking trails in Lansing.
Brandon Ewert: My favorite MTB trails in the area. The MMMBA volunteers keep them well maintained.
Alyssa Slocombe: This is my favorite nature park so far. There was alot of bikes on the trails. It was very interesting. We saw limbs that were growing up and connecting to other trees simply amazing . No restrooms or pay are for kids. Nature at it's finest
eduardo maceo: Beautiful place for take photos 😍
Ryan Brooke: This park is like a slice of butter melting on a big ol pile of flapjacks. Smooth. Makes the emotions go doot do da doot dooo. We need to let everyone know and talk to people to get it out. Shout out at the rooftops. It is great! It's the bees knees item 9! I am serious. Get out and try it before they make it illegal.
jenny jones: Nice trails, more of a bike trail than a walking one. Paths are very narrow!
Troy Hale: I was very shocked that I didn't know about this place. I've lived here for 14 years... and this was 7 miles away! Really nice rides... highly recommend.
Chris Watkins: Beautiful park for hiking biking fishing and peace and quiet. And no Park in the state of Michigan is open 24 hours a day parks open at sunrise and close at sunset.
Elya Zand: It’s a nice park, great scenery, clean for the most part and it runs by the river. Only downside is that it can be a bit sketchy here. Had some random guy ask me if I knew where the shrooms are at while I was walking my dog. Some other weird things here too
Kristin Isaac: Great time. Kind of sketchy, lol, but really beautiful trails.
baby jay: Very quiet and beautiful
Pieter Hoekstra: Good quick trailer. The parks dept should open the south end to cycling as well.
Darr Hoag: A hidden gem, donated by the daughter of Ransom Eli Olds, Gladys Olds Anderson.
Richard Gilchrist: Great hiking trails. Looks like they are set up for off road bicycles.
Patrick MacKillop: What a hidden gem. Very fun trails with some excellent features. Really fun
Ericka Wood: I really like this place! Great for mountain biking. Little jumps and Curves in the trails. Well-maintained and clean. Three or four main trails. Wooded area. A decent Trail to walk with the kids that's secluded
Trevor Youngquist: A great hidden, rustic hiking experience. Can be muddy after a steady rain
Anndee Czech: It's a pretty nice place to hike. The trails are decently marked but the cut overs are not. Enough parking for about 6 vehicles. From the map at the trail head I thought I would see more water inside the trails but mostly swap areas. I can see how this would be a great mountain bike place.
Zachary Clough (NapoleontheLesser): Lots of hiking and biking trails. Mostly bikes, but there's no restrictions to pedestrian hiking on the bike trails. Just keep an eye/ear out for cyclists. Or pedestrians if you're biking.
James Mathews: Beautiful park

Fine Park: what do users think?
Phil Damico: Always nice to frequent these gems in Lansing. Support your local parks.
Nelson Pino: Not native to the area. The location the directions brought us to was at the end of a dead end street in a neighborhood where there was a no parking sign. Slightly up the road (in the direction we came from) we saw a sign for Fine Park, but no directions for parking. We ended up just parking at the dead end and walking to the trail (it's visible along the treeline from the road). It's also a bike trail and is pretty nice. It runs partially along a nearby river.Tldr; Nice trail but obscure location with no directions on where to park.
Nia H: Cool little park
Brandon Ewert: Great MT bike trails through pine and hardwood forest. No parking - most easily accessed from Fulton Park.
Julie Wright: I wish people would take out the trash they bring in a lot of litter throughout the park 😏
Carl Marx: Fine indeed.
Superstar Galactica: Great 5.5 mile trail but no place to park. Don't try because the people who live there will call the police and you may get ticketed. Try one of the other 2 parks It's connected to.
sealpup: Its fine
Katie Beck: The trails and view of the river behind this park are beautiful. However the signage and parking availability is terrible. You would be much better served accessing via Fulton Park or Hunters Ridge
Isaac Francisco: Nice hiking and mountain biking trail by the Grand River
Sean Eman: You mean swamp, right?
Tommy Poole: Great park for a hike or mountain bike ride. Large amounts of river frontage that is perfect for fishing or for kayaking.
Georgia Ellis: AKA Anderson Park. Excellent passive trails maintained primarily by MMMBA. Great hiking, bird watching, fishing, gleaning, anything else you can enjoy outdoors but no hunting, camping, or fires
Nathan Hartley: I love Fine Park for it's natural beauty; hard woods, pines, a creek, a meadow. It also has a great mountain bike/ hiking trail (the West Lansing Trail), a Geocache (It's a Fine Park III) and a low bank for launching canoes/ kayaks on a lovely section of the Grand River.
Thomas Kniffen: Could utilize the space for actual playground
Vada Jo Pratt: The field is nice, but things seriously need to be more obvious for folks. It would be really nice if there were another sign.We couldn't find the trail and weren't 100% sure if the area we were at was part of someone's yard, if there actually was a trail. Now reading reviews, I am seeing that there are trails, but again - some additional signage would be a big help. We'll have to check it out again sometime, hopefully it is as nice as these folks make it out to be!
Matthew Shattuck: There's a decent trail system for mountian biking and a few spots to fish from shore nice little place hidden in lansing
DavidAndLeahKaye Weathers: Fine Park was fine... seriously, though, there are some nice nature trails through the woods by the Grand River! We look forward to returning!

Taylor Crowley: Great trails and clean park!
Bridgette Harms: Cute park
Robert Crummel: Lots of space. Nice trails ,
Ally B.W: Hard not to enjoy. It's quiet, full of nature, and a great place to be outside. Nice trials, we saw playgrounds and portapotties around. Dogs, pavilions, cycling and parking lots
Pearl Akra: Good
Bridget Kassab: Came here with my kids to ride the bike track. It was awesome. Would recommend.
NC Hewat: Beautiful, clean, well-maintained park that is adjacent to the Harris Nature Center. Meandering trails with a few very moderate hills, lower trail parallels the river. Always a good idea to use bug spray in summer.
Kip Armstrong: Nice park and trails
Timothy Schotten: Pretty, but the bugs this year are insufferable.
Kelsey Gardner: One of our regular parks except for the mosquitos but love the peacefulness
Sheila Hutton: Wonderful little park with mogal hills for children on bikes, walking paths, and an outhouse. My dog loves it here.
Chili Mac: This park is sure to please bicycle enthusiasts of all ages! I would not recommend taking a street bike on to the trail through the woods as the tree roots and sand could be problematic!
Jesse Torres: A good three mile hike trail that is not overwhelming and crowded. I bring my dog here all the time and have a blast.
Mandy Ousley: My kids and hubby live going here to play with their rc cars when there's not alot of people on bikes
Peter M: I gorgeous park with a high and low part for running or walking. It was fun taking a walk here. The wildflowers were so small and fun to photograph.

Rotary Park: what do users think?
Aracely Gutierrez: ✨
Trevor Benoit: The lightscape from the Lansing Center to the park is well done and serves to draw you down into the park from Michigan Ave and pull you through to the Shiawassee st. bridge that serves as a space for public art. The dynamic lighting creates a warm and inviting sense of place. We need to see more lighting plans like this in public spaces around Lansing.
Krystasia “Stasi”: We come here often to feed the ducks and enjoy the river trail. Lately, there's been a goose that has a fishing line tied around its foot. Even though the foot is swollen, goose is often alone (they're usually social beings) and can only swim in a circle or at an angle - DNR isn't able to do anything because they're short staffed and its "not a priority because said goose isn't . If you see this goose, help him out!
MrBarney Knows: Always nice and pleasant at night. Nice for couples to chill at.
Steve B: Used to love this place. I would give this place 5 stars but every time I go there seems like the zombies are growing in numbers. Dirty needles everywhereThis place has just turned out to be a new way to pollute our beautiful Grand River and downtown Lansing with several plastic bottles tubes and dirty needles. Beyond this park as a species we must learn how to stop all of the #plasticpollution Just check out the picture we cleaned all of this with my family last month. The city really needs to get on this as well as the people within it. This place really used to be a gem.I would strongly recommend not to use the bathroom here bathroom here FYI.Restrooms: I would strongly recommend not to use the restroom here. Several junkies have been found shooting up or dead inside of this one. It's as if the city thinks that 1 bathroom and only cleaning at once a month is acceptable. This place is turned out to be a shame.Picnic area: One of the best picnic areas in the entire city however has been ruined by the pollution and zombies this place is unsafe to even sit with your children due to the overwhelming amount of dirty needles
Doin the most: The Loop
Alauna Wright: Nice place to chill. Only downside is there’s glass liquor bottles smashed on the ground in random areas sometimes. People like to smoke out there and chill (I don’t mind). Some people feed the ducks some people will kayak and some people will scooter. I like to go out there and scooter or eat food and relax.
M. Syarif (omcalip): Another pretty public space on great Lansing. I spent the weekend with my family to see the river, playing sand, or biking, or just walking.
Jeremy Hegge: My sons favorite place on earth
M: Peace of MIND, in a MAD MAD WORLD
Ethan Evans: Great place to sit by the river next to the walking path.
Rosalind Roberts: Very beautiful and blessed area and very clean *I'm new to the area and I will stop n chill whenever possible.
Jeff Berry: Great place to relax and enjoy a meal!
Jim Fabiano: Went for an outdoor yoga class and it was a perfect setting for it
Abby Dee: Love them all! The views are spectacular the little signs are a great xtra touch watched mother goose protect hers eggs and later her babies
Chad Jordan (Cravings Gourmet Popcorn): Relaxing along the river eating Sleepwalker Pizza
Markesha S: They really made it modern and very comfortable. Love the trails and how they incorporated a sand beach.
kevin waite: Great place to meet and greet, lots of benches with covered areas to block a little sun. Kayak rental booming right now too. You can bike there from anywhere in the city along the river trail.
Tyrus Gray: Beautiful art work
Zack ORiely: Absolutely beautiful. Very social, the city did a great job with this project.
Diana Powell: The walk at rotary park was relaxing. Not many people which made it great for walking the puppies.

Tahir Haddad: Amazing place for picnic 🙂
tony harris: Great place to relax love this park
Vicki Mwangi: SerenePicnic area: Very well maintained
Vinzon Lee: Nice park! Good scenery!
Michelle Mason: Beautiful park while visiting Lansing, Michigan. Has been trail and picnic area around a beautiful lake.Playground: Though on an early school day, I noticed a family on play ground/ picnic area and appeared to be preparing for a children's party.Restrooms: Certain bathrooms closed during off season.Picnic area: See above. Not sure about grilling
Carrie Hill: Just beautiful. Great for a picnic, walking, biking, etc.
Kate B: The splash pad is great! Need more shaded areas...
orphanedhanyou: Lovely park layout & nature but the front bathrooms are "closed for the season" in May? Taxpayers pay for entry to their own park for only one open bathroom (which had rusted and crumbling facilities)? On top of this several areas of the park had more litter than expected plus Sycamore Creek had multiple areas with downed trees & branches just piled with trapped trash. Hope a city clean up will get organized.
Deborah Moomaw: I used to take my family here years ago during the summer. We always had a good time. There are so many activities at the park: splash pad, swimming lake with row boats, fishing, sand volleyball and badminton net area, grassy area to fly a frisbee, and a wooden playground.Picnic area: Picnic tables around park, concession bar, some tables under umbrellas near splash pad.
Eli's_ BR549: Beautiful place to go fishing, walking, bike rides, etc....
Justice Team: Hawk Island is a Beautiful park and Soldan fenced dog park was great. Lakes and all! Jake had so much fun with the other dogs and splashing in the water! Thank you!
Cinnamon SpiceFox: Didn't catch any fish but it was a beautiful day
Kelly Krueger: Love this park!
Nolan Saros: Fun
Jane Ventsias: Great place to pretend you're not in the city. The dog park is amazing!
Bloomin in Kindness: My kids and I go on walks here all of the time. Can't wait for warmer weather so we can enjoy the beach.
Coqui Ta: Beautiful clean trails make a more enjoyable walk. I'm giving it 4 stars because their tubing reservations system leaves a lot to be desired, this time of year
KRISTEN L: Ran the pi day 5k here on Saturday. Nice little park. Trails were all clear except the boardwalk around the lake. Trails are very well marked. Actual rest rooms (so I don't know if they were just open for the race worth are open all year). Nice play equipment and plenty of parking
L: On Friday, March 3rd 2023 at 5p i purchased 5 tickets ($55) for a time slot of 4p-6p for Saturday, March 4th 2023.When my family arrived on March 4th at 3p (ish) I was told i am not on the list. I showed "Shelby" my confirmation email and she said, "you are a day late. those were for yesterday."i looked at the email and was shocked, I said, ""why would i buy 4p tickets at 5p!" she said that they were filled up but i could wait around and possibly the last 15-30 min we could go. i let her know, that $55 dollars is not worthy of a potential 15 min of tubing and i asked if i could have a refund. "I dont do that" i asked if i could speak to a manager and she called a christina. i could hear cristina on the phone and she said the same thing. i asked if christina could come here to speak to me and she said she would.i waited around for over 30 minutes. i asked if she can be called again to let her know im still waiting.christina spoke with me, "Im on my lunch and im not coming there to discuss with you. this is the deal, its like when you buy 10 movie theatre tickets, 10 people come and there is no room for others, thats the same im telling you."i said, "can i explain your computer scheduling issue and what happened" she said the computer scheduling issue is not here, "you can try to talk to someone on Monday about this." she had a laugh in her voice.I had again explained, "you cant allow my 3 kids to enjoy the tubing since we drove an hour here." i didnt care about my ticket or my husbands at that time.she said, "no"this was beyond hurtful, lack of empathy, no customer service, controlling and they should be embarrassed. they made it to we will never visit again and i will be sharing this experience with multiple social media reviews/friends/etci hope their behavior makes it to the proper chain in command and perhaps some customer service classes/training.
Jessicia Venture: Amazing trails, dog friendly (even dog water fountains! ) can't wait till summer to rent boats!
Laura W: Love this park. Lots of memories with my boys here! Trails, paved trails, water, fishing, paddle boats, beach, playground, water pad, nature in the heart of Lansing 💗

Burchfield Park: what do users think?
Jen LoTempio: The number of mosquitoes makes the time spent there miserable, even with bug spray.
Tim Buckley: Favorite park in the Lansing area! This park is a true gem. With the addition of the new bicycle playground/skills park, 17 miles of hiking/biking trails combined, two championship disc golf courses, canoeing, and kayaking on the Grand River, shelters, swimming, clean bathrooms, and lots of green space to relax and enjoy nature, there is something for everyone of all ages. Cabin rentals are coming soon, too! Ingham County Parks staff does a phenomenal job taking care of all their parks.
Marc-Grégor Campredon: This is an amazing place - The trails are very nice, divers, well marked, there are way more than enough maps.It would take a lot's of effort to get lost - That for sure. All the trails are well maintained, any blockage is indicated ahead giving you alternatives roads. The trails are massively interconnected, so you can decide on many different lenght, and if you change your mind or if the weather change, you can easily take a short cut and return back to the entrance.Lastly ... the Biking part - OMG - This is one of the most amazing place ever, so many level of technicality making it perfect for kids and less experienced bikers - But with enough to please the most hardcore. This park is just ... Excuse me - This park should be used in Park School as a perfect example of the perfect park! It is AMAAAAAAZIINNG and guess what? They do have geocaches.
Kevin Lick, MBA: Awesome
Island Ewert: Love the trails for riding bikes or just taking a lovely stroll by the river.
RL: Sledding, mountain biking, hiking… Great fun! Well-maintained, and consistently upgraded.
Ashok Rangan: Well organised place for outdoor skiing, sledging and tobagoning activities. Three slopes of different steepness is available, all of them child friendly. Plenty of parking, clean washrooms and clear signages.
Artena Dexter: Great park; something for everyone.
Charles Poe: Only been here to play disc golf, but it's always a great time. It's always clean and well kept. No complaints at all.
Maria Willoughby-Byrwa: Stumbled upon this place after hearing locals talk about it. Great snow tubing fun for the whole family, small sledding hills for littles, a warming fire pit, concessions and VERY clean bathrooms!
David Knoblauch: Nice place to go sledding. The fire pit is a great place to warm up and the building with the bathrooms are open.
Susan Rieske: Been bringing kids and grandkids here for years. The park has a lot to offer in all the seasons. A nice shaded swimming beach with life guard and restroom. Great for walks in the woods with scenic river overlooks. Sledding, tubing and tobogganing. Disc golf course. Rental canoes and kayaks. Cross country ski rental. Several pavilions for rental. A large playground near the picnic area. Mountain bike trails for beginners and experienced bikers.
Jason Bristow: Great place to take the kids mountain biking. Lots of trail options for every ability level. Easy parking.
H Christiansen: Beautiful walk by the river
Craig Johnson: Cool twisty old school MTB trails.
Gwen Henry: Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1gmail Act: Cool river bank, old cars and nature scenic MTB trails. The snake part of the MTB trail is very unique and you literally go round and round in an intricate labriyth on this part of the trail. It's easy 2 get misplaced on these trails so pay attention to the trail map and # system. B+
Andy Crow: One of the best county parks you will find anywhere. Mountain biking, hiking, running, disk golf, sledding, cross country skiing, canoe and kayak rentals, beach, playground, volleyball, pavilions and the list goes on.
Tim Burnham: Love it. Great course for all levels. There are long and short tees and long and short baskets. Rivers edge is very difficult with no short options. You should be experienced to play that course.
Benjamin Lack: Fishing wasn't as good as I thought but I went when it wasn't the best of times so I'll give it another chance
Terri Gregory: Excellent park! Clean and great place for outing or event!
