Lekeathon Wilson: Most of the animals where off display or sleep so that’s a bummer but they did have the camel rides open and my daughter enjoyed the playground with other kids it wasn’t much to do out there on this day but that’s ok always a next time

K Gracie: Nice zoo. The wolves sadly ate no longer there so we didn't see them. Wish the website noted this as my daughter was so disappointed it almost ruined the trip for her. We did enjoy ourselves and took a slow stroll seeing the other animals. The Bald Eagle is what my son wanted to see and that was pretty awesome. The lions we laying in the sun in the most adorable position. This was a great trip. Only 4 stars because it's a bit saddening to find out after getting there, that there are no wolves. The wolves are only gone to be joined with their sister who's mate passed so she could have a pack. The reason the Bears, elephants and wolves aren't there were all great reasons and gave me great respect for the zoo as I am usually not a fan of animals in captivity. This was a nice trip.
Loren Hart: It was ok. Not that much to see anymore. Also they need to put a sign out when they are cleaning the animals habit. Went inside to see the lions and tigers and all were empty. Wouldnt have gone in if we would of known they were being cleaned. Cathy Schrock: Excellent as always. My kids (prek field trip) had a blast. I'm disappointed that the Wings of Wonder exhibit is no longer longer there, and wish they'd bring another interactive exhibit besides the farm area. I don't like the pony rides or camel rides- they're too difficult to manage on a field trip. Something like a butterfly or bird house the kids could walk through would be great. But still, a 5-star visit for the kids.
Michelle Fry: Had a wonderful time with grandkids they enjoyed it so much loves animals
Arielle Anderson: Ight. Cool for guests....not so cool for animals. Great views of most of the animals because the enclosures ....let's be real...theyre cages....are small. But better than you'd think for Lansing.

Jeff Stancroff: The R.E Olds Transportation Museum was a nice surprise find during our trip to Lansing, not sure what we would do without Google. The museum had a nice little gift shop when you enter to purchase your tickets that had some interesting Oldsmobile memorabilia. Going through the museum there were a lot of interesting vehicles like an Olds Semi truck as well as small Olds equipment like lawnmowers and snow blowers which I had no idea they made. The best part of the tour for me was the Hurst Hairy Hauler, I am sure it must have been a handful on the track. If your into automotive history this has to be on the top of your list if your in Lansing
Laura Farmer: Loved the history. Very nice visit
Transparent “TrapScape” Nightmare: Small but alot of history
Steve Richards: I have lived in Lansing my whole life and had never been to the museum. I took my camera and had an amazing time. The amount of exhibits in such a small space is unbelievable. The museum covers cars to lawnmowers along with a refrigerator thrown in. All the exhibits are in wonderful condition and can take you back in time if you can imagine. They have even taken the time to honor the fallen officers of the Lansing police and fire departments. I spent an hour in the museum and could have stayed longer if I had read all the exhibit descriptions. The museum is very well laid out and is definitely worth the price of admission.
Charlie Chapman: Great museum. Friendly staff. Amazing cars. And wonderful, fascinating stories.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10 …More

Michigan History Center: what do users think?
Jeffrey Pollock: Exceptional place to bring a group. Arguably the most underrated museum in the state. Immersive, engaging, with a top notch collection.
rhonda norman: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10More
James Smith: Pretty good museum focused on Michigan history. If you want to absorb it all and read write-ups, as well as participate in various hands-on displays, it will take a few hours to complete. It’s like a smaller version of one of the Smithsonians. Well designed and laid out and put together with quality. It’s typically open for a few hours on Sunday, at which time the entry is free. Tickets are priced reasonably for other days.
Erin Symonds: We spent a few hours on Sunday exploring the Michigan History Center. My son has been asking to go for weeks, and with Sunday being free admission plus free parking, it seemed the perfect time! The mining area was very cool and I love how the center flowed through. There isn't a wrong way to go through the place. My son loved exploring the place. We'll be back soon!
Sara M: Did you know that in Michigan the Polio Vaccine had trials leaded by Jonás Salk? Or that Jiffy the famous mixture of pancakes and baking good was founded in Michigan? Well… all of these and more you’ll learn in this History Center museum which is shared with the Michigan Library.I was gladly impressed during my visit. This museum is organized in a way you enjoy and understand the journey. It is 3 storey and each one is pretty ample. My favourites areas were the “Mining in Michigan”, “The Prototyping Parlour and the recently added “Hazel’s creation” right at the entrance.Sundays are free and parking is plenty and free as well.To go over the whole 3 floors and if you go at slow pace as myself :) allocate at minimum 2 hours. You can go with seniors as there is plenty of seatings and also with children.
Lee Norton: From prehistory to wilderness to territory to statehood, this museum has a professional presentation spread across 3 floors on exhibit. The entry cost is reasonable.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry $6–10 …More
Larry Smith: A very cool place to visit, kind of a mini collection of Michigan's diverse history. I was here with a 3rd grade class. I think it was a bit above their grade level. I would suggest 5th grade and above to visit here. A children's museum would have been a better fit for the kids today.

The hands-on exhibits are engaging and educational, allowing visitors to learn through interactive experiences. The staff is enthusiastic and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and provide guidance. The center's dedication to promoting scientific curiosity and critical thinking is commendable. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, making it a perfect destination for families and school groups. With its wide range of exhibits and activities, Impression 5 Science Center guarantees a fun and enlightening experience for all.
Brooke Rosek: My kids had fun but I have been waiting (and excited) to take my kids here for several years, and I was rather disappointed in our experience. The building was pretty warm, and when I went to use the nursing room it felt like there was absolutely no air flow in there and it was way too hot, so I did not stay. As far as exhibits, the ones my kids were most interested in were not functioning or out of supplies. The bubble room was sad and looked like it needed to be refilled everywhere, and there wasn’t any bubble solution in the big bubble maker which was disappointing. I can’t remember the names of everything specifically but there were multiple broken activities. The water room was the best but online it makes it appear like there are ponchos available to stay dry but I didn’t see any anywhere, all the hooks were empty and my kids got soaked, I’m glad at least it was the last thing we went to.

Lots of hands-on activities for kids, and the displays really encourage the children to explore and play and experiment with different things. I was amazed at some of the things my kiddo picked up on, just watching what was going on around her. There's a lot for adults to get out of it as well. Hawk Island Park: what do users think?
Jay Angel: Awesome place to relax and chill. Could we replace the toilet paper in the ladies bathroom? Wife and daughter kind of needs it when using the bathroom.
Eli's_ BR549: Beautiful place to go fishing, walking, bike rides, swimming, splash pad, picnic.
Kaleen Paddock: The splash pad is always a blast to play at but over the years we have grown farther away from the beach part as i been playing at their beach since i was a kid and its definitely change not sure if its for the best or worse water when you walk the trail is very nasty. Park is very satisfying for my kids overall i would rate this beach 7/10

Not sure about grilling
Carrie Hill: Just beautiful. Great for a picnic, walking, biking, etc.
Kate B: The splash pad is great! Need more shaded areas...
orphanedhanyou: Lovely park layout & nature but the front bathrooms are "closed for the season" in May? Taxpayers pay for entry to their own park for only one open bathroom (which had rusted and crumbling facilities)? On top of this several areas of the park had more litter than expected plus Sycamore Creek had multiple areas with downed trees & branches just piled with trapped trash. Hope a city clean up will get organized.
Deborah Moomaw: I used to take my family here years ago during the summer. We always had a good time. There are so many activities at the park: splash pad, swimming lake with row boats, fishing, sand volleyball and badminton net area, grassy area to fly a frisbee, and a wooden playground.Picnic area: Picnic tables around park, concession bar, some tables under umbrellas near splash pad.
Justice Team: Hawk Island is a Beautiful park and Soldan fenced dog park was great. Lakes and all! Jake had so much fun with the other dogs and splashing in the water! Thank you!
Cinnamon SpiceFox: Didn't catch any fish but it was a beautiful day
Kelly Krueger: Love this park!
Nolan Saros: Fun
Jane Ventsias: Great place to pretend you're not in the city. The dog park is amazing!
Bloomin in Kindness: My kids and I go on walks here all of the time. Can't wait for warmer weather so we can enjoy the beach.
Coqui Ta: Beautiful clean trails make a more enjoyable walk. I'm giving it 4 stars because their tubing reservations system leaves a lot to be desired, this time of year
KRISTEN L: Ran the pi day 5k here on Saturday. Nice little park. Trails were all clear except the boardwalk around the lake. Trails are very well marked. Actual rest rooms (so I don't know if they were just open for the race worth are open all year). Nice play equipment and plenty of parking
