Clippert St Trailhead - Lansing River Trail: what do users think?
Jason Pollock: Parking: Do not leave valuables in sightSecluded area
James Saylor: Fees: There are no fees whateverRecommended activities Walking, Hiking, Running, Biking, Dog Walking, Birdwatching …More
Gladys Anleu: Nice trail for biking
Medardo Antonio Rodriguez: Nice walk.
Alyssa Slocombe: This is a great walk around the river although parks of it were under construction, you can still get around it quite easily
Robert “Bubba” Miller: Much trail is low, so water is an issue. Fairly busy with pets and walkers, as it is a multi-use trail. This rating was for bicycling. With that being said, portions along the river provided awesome views.
JAMES JACKSON: Nice place for a walk, jog or bike, but the further you go towards Aurelius, the trail gets alittle rough. It needs to be repaved.
Micah Plimpton: Great place to access the river trail for a run or bike ride into MSU campus. Also, good spot to jump on the trail system and connect to Crego park and Potter Park Zoo. In the spring time expect some flooding near the river but is still passable by taking the upper trail along the road.

Anderson Nature Park: what do users think?
Jennell Long (Jennell Quinn): Nature in town
Adam Simmer: Some of the best hiking trails in Lansing.
Brandon Ewert: My favorite MTB trails in the area. The MMMBA volunteers keep them well maintained.
Alyssa Slocombe: This is my favorite nature park so far. There was alot of bikes on the trails. It was very interesting. We saw limbs that were growing up and connecting to other trees simply amazing . No restrooms or pay are for kids. Nature at it's finest
eduardo maceo: Beautiful place for take photos 😍
Ryan Brooke: This park is like a slice of butter melting on a big ol pile of flapjacks. Smooth. Makes the emotions go doot do da doot dooo. We need to let everyone know and talk to people to get it out. Shout out at the rooftops. It is great! It's the bees knees item 9! I am serious. Get out and try it before they make it illegal.
jenny jones: Nice trails, more of a bike trail than a walking one. Paths are very narrow!
Troy Hale: I was very shocked that I didn't know about this place. I've lived here for 14 years... and this was 7 miles away! Really nice rides... highly recommend.
Chris Watkins: Beautiful park for hiking biking fishing and peace and quiet. And no Park in the state of Michigan is open 24 hours a day parks open at sunrise and close at sunset.
Elya Zand: It’s a nice park, great scenery, clean for the most part and it runs by the river. Only downside is that it can be a bit sketchy here. Had some random guy ask me if I knew where the shrooms are at while I was walking my dog. Some other weird things here too
Kristin Isaac: Great time. Kind of sketchy, lol, but really beautiful trails.
baby jay: Very quiet and beautiful
Pieter Hoekstra: Good quick trailer. The parks dept should open the south end to cycling as well.
Darr Hoag: A hidden gem, donated by the daughter of Ransom Eli Olds, Gladys Olds Anderson.
Richard Gilchrist: Great hiking trails. Looks like they are set up for off road bicycles.
Patrick MacKillop: What a hidden gem. Very fun trails with some excellent features. Really fun
Ericka Wood: I really like this place! Great for mountain biking. Little jumps and Curves in the trails. Well-maintained and clean. Three or four main trails. Wooded area. A decent Trail to walk with the kids that's secluded
Trevor Youngquist: A great hidden, rustic hiking experience. Can be muddy after a steady rain
Anndee Czech: It's a pretty nice place to hike. The trails are decently marked but the cut overs are not. Enough parking for about 6 vehicles. From the map at the trail head I thought I would see more water inside the trails but mostly swap areas. I can see how this would be a great mountain bike place.
Zachary Clough (NapoleontheLesser): Lots of hiking and biking trails. Mostly bikes, but there's no restrictions to pedestrian hiking on the bike trails. Just keep an eye/ear out for cyclists. Or pedestrians if you're biking.
James Mathews: Beautiful park

Jose Avila: Well taken care of, pleasant walk.
Laura Curry: Great place to walk. Most of the trail we walked was shaded which was nice on a hot day. The route we walked went near a pond with geese and swans which was beautiful. It was convenient that there were restrooms there. Would have been nice to have a trail map.

Lake Lansing Park North: what do users think?
Janet Lower: Great Disc golf. Couldn't play yesterday due to event at the park. Just too crowded but this is an anomaly. Usually quite quiet. Very relaxing.
Heather Field: Beautiful park with trails to walk. Lots of shade
Island Ewert: Perfect for a leisurely walk in any season!
Diane: Beautiful, tranquil place to walk. There are lots of roots and it is muddy after rain. Lots of improvements taking place this summer to comply with the ADA. I'm disappointed to see that an electronic gate is going to be installed.
Robert Lawrence: Fun pitch and put short course. Beginners to slightly advanced lines.
dawn ridge: There are nice hiking trails here. It's a mix of woods and swamp land.Playground: Small jungle gym and swing set.Restrooms: Restrooms are cleanDog-friendliness: I seen many dogs on the trailPicnic area: There is an area with grills and tables
Nathan Wilkie: The park opens shortly before sunset and closes slightly after sunset. The park offers a variety of services including disc golf, shelter rentals (3), hiking trails, a baseball diamond, and a playground. The disc golf course is 18 holes but they are all relatively short par 3. The hiking trails have some variety with the red trail being the shortest and the blue trail being the longest. My personal favorite trail is the orange trail which splits off from the green blue trail.I work here, regularly closing the park. Occasionally there are ruts that form at the entry which are graded regularly but do be cautious as you enter. The springtime offers a look at many nesting birds such as Sand Hill Cranes and Canadian Geese. The sunset over the marsh from just west of the main shelter is perhaps the best view of the sunset in the area. The restrooms are closed for a portion of the year due to freezing conditions and take some time to be un-winterized.There are 2 fire pits near the main shelter with ample firewood provided.Picnic area: There are 3 picnic locations. The main shelter, Oak Knoll, and Sand Hill. The main shelter is the largest space with many picnic tables provided. Oak Knoll and Sand hill are roughly half the size of the main shelter. Oak Knoll is slightly more out of the way than Sand Hill, and is at the end of the blue/green trail. Sand Hill is closer to the entry for the trails and the playground.
Austin Alexander: Cool disc golf course, a good way to spend an afternoon. You may have to pay for parking and to play DG
Richard Hill-Rowley: Beautiful sunny day. The blue loop is about three and a half miles. Varied trails through the woods
Gary: Nice course
James Jenks: The new disc golf course is amazing. Great addition to the park.
Doug Prizer: Very nice new Disc Golf course.
Jennifer Ferenc: Wonderful place to relax and take in nature.Playground: Wooden playground with slides great condition 😀Restrooms: CleanPicnic area: Several picnic areas
Leyton Macleod: Nice service
Jase Arz: New disc course in Lansing
Dorian: They've recently done a lot of work out here
M G (mngrif): A well kept and well loved park with a variety of easy trails to explore.
Geoff Charbeneau: First time at the park. The trail was a nice walk, however the trail system is completely confusing. As you travel there are not any mile markers to give you an idea of where you are and how far back to where you came from. We were supposed to be on a loop. Ended coming out in an adjacent subdivision. Not a great experience considering we thought we were lost the entire time. Other than that, small snakes everywhere. Not sure if that is normal.
Catherine Nicholas: Love that they paint roots pink so they are visible! Clean restrooms
Christine Aiello: I'd give this park a better rating if it weren't for the appallingly bad or just plain absent maps/trail guidance. My husband and I rarely come here and today I was reminded why: You can easily end up lost and walking muuuuch farther than you intended. The only trail map, (a sad and abused thing situated at a key intersection faaaaar up the trail, where you've begun to wonder how much longer you can hold your bladder), doesn't even identify your location (...just try interpreting a trail map without that little detail). I'm sure park funds are tight, but how much would it cost to paint "you are here" on the dang map?
John Hopkins: The main pavilion had fire pits with stocked witch I thought was pretty nice

Scott Woods Park: what do users think?
Emma Chapman: Beautiful park with lots of different trails and scenery, plus it's a great place to see wildlife.
Dustin Hume: Great place for a stroll, a bike ride, geocaching, or to relax!
Damyon Finch: Great trail, paved, except going to the dog park. Deer are always around. It's nice, and leads to multiple parks, and the zooPlayground: It's bigRestrooms: I've only seen themDog-friendliness: There's a dog park. Soldans Dog park.
Bob VanElslander: Awesome Park. Splash pad, beach area, dog park, paddle boat rentals, and tube rentals for sledding in the winter. The sledding hill has a conveyor belt that takes u up the hill and they make their own snowRestrooms: Full restrooms with showersDog-friendliness: Dog park located within the park
Sylvia Lin: Easy paved trails. In the fall, there are lots of interesting mushrooms near the forest grounds to be found.
Alyssa Slocombe: This was a nice paved trail I saw lots of people on bikes and roller blades. Plenty of space on the trail to share the path. Lots of trees down which made it even more beautiful Picnic area: There was lots of places to stop and sit on the bench or on the ground to have a picnic
Ann Jones: Lots of shade for walking
Waseem Hajjar: Very nice place to visit and enjoy the time there with the family.
W L: Beautiful place
melissa jackson: Great place to walk
Melissa 906: My favorite park in the area to take my dog and walk. Beautiful anytime of year.
阿列克谢: This park is a low-key hidden gem. It gives off its peculiar serene charm. It’s the back door of the much loved Hawk Island Park. The Lansing river trail is nested through the park. Best for hiking or running to shed off some stress.
Darvale Thomas: Relaxing
Michael D. Picciano: What a incredible place to bring your dog.
Rohit Ratnala: Great park with winding sets of trails through the woods by the river. Very nice dog park nearby with trails that are a bit more wild. There are paved trails frequented by cyclists and walkers, and unpaved parts also good for both but have fewer cyclists. Maps are easy to follow and are by most of the entrances. The trails connect to several parts of the River Trail, go right next to the Cemetery, connect to the Hawk island trails and the ones in Soldan dog park. Very well worth the walk. Beware of the insects(mosquitoes mainly) in the spring and summer. You can avoid the insects by going on windy or dry days.
Liz: My favorite park to access the River Trail
Edward Fountain: Nice trails and beautiful scenery
Tiffany Libiran: Always a nice, well travelled and groomed, predictable area..The mosquitoes are pretty bad here though.. DEFINITELY don't want to forget bug spray. Yikes!
Joseph D T: Lots of canopy and nature. Park in Ruth ave it and enter for free. A spot by the estuary is my favorite
Tony Nobach: Very nicely maintained
Stephanie Riley: I love Scott Woods! You can easily forgot that you are still in the city. But does anyone know what these marks are?
