Ashley Karsten: Elite Dance Company has become a family to my girls. The staff go above and beyond to make connections and support all members of the team. I have seen my daughters confidence soar during the time they have been part of this studio. My kids look forward to going to the studio and I’m constantly impressed with the progress they make each week. We love EDC!
Anna Bates: We had to find a new dance home this past year due to ours closing. My daughter was welcomed to EDC and loves it! The atmosphere is fun and centered around team bonding. They provide great positive instruction. The studio has been safe and followed every protocol. My daughter comes out of class laughing and exhausted (the “worked hard” kind of exhausted) It’s been a great year despite every challenge. So grateful for this studio and the instructors!!

Alicia Y: Our family went to EDC for 3 years. Best way to describe this studio... unorganized, all over the place. We stayed because of the relationships we developed with the other dance families and dancers. Studio collected from the state during quarantine all while making dance families pay full tuition as well.I do not recommend. Hope my review helps new families to the area make a wise decision on the studio they will soon call home.
Kathleen Veith: I have been to many dance recitals in my 66 years but never have I been to one as extraordinary as Elite's! The pace of the show, the costuming, the music and sequencing selections kept the audience thoroughly engaged and entertained! I also especially appreciated the appropriateness of the costumes. Erin Born: Patsy Watson’s is a staple in the Lansing community. I went here for many years and proudly take my daughter here now. They are a family ran business who gives individualized attention to every student. Vanessa has a kind heart and her attention goes beyond that of class and also to her students well being in life. We only have good things to say. If you are looking for a studio where you’ll feel like part of the family, look no further!
Deborah Darby: My daughter has been dancing at this school for a couple of years now and she loves it. This is a family owned company and all of the instructors are really nice and work very good with children of all ages.

Jessica Kongstad: This is a wonderful gem of a dance studio we are lucky to have locally! Classes offered for all levels! They have ninja classes too and while we haven’t tried that one yet the kids seem to love it! Everyone there is talented, kind and committed. My child is only 5 but has been there a couple years now. I always feel very safe having her there even during these pandemic times.
Leah W: I signed my son up for their ninja class and unfortunately, our financial circumstances changed shortly thereafter, about two weeks. I requested a refund. I was told, “will remove him from class.” Roughly 2-3 weeks later, I inquired about my refund and was told they don’t give them out, their “system” doesn’t allow for it. The system for a refund is a check. Believe the reviews that talk about shady business dealings with this company. I will be filing a complaint with the AG office, any company that refuses refunds when services weren’t rendered needs to be investigated.

Becky Beauregard: We are starting our 6th year at Spartan Dance. I have a girl and 2 boys and they all take classes. It is a great place for boys that are interested in dance! My daughter was able to try out different styles before picking the class she was most interested in. The staff is very caring and accommodating!

Amanda Rospond: Really expensive. Class schedule is awkward and they recently lost most of their good trainers so class schedule and quality got worse. They made it extremely uncomfortable for me when I went to cancel my membership. Not very professional.
Matt Holtz: BE CAREFUL OF OVER CHARGING. they will charge you through the teeth for outfits even if you never signed up for the events that the outfits are for. They will, at times, have children as young as 12 years old in charge of classes for younger kids. Some of their teachers are great but in the end our kids asked to not go back because as they moved up they did not like the teachers.
Real Estate Matchmaker: The trainers are great with people of all skill levels and the facility is clean and inviting.
Laurie Brinker: A great place for a beginner or advanced dancer. A great group of instructors.
Elisa Krause: I love the environment and the people. You get a gratifying community full of people who motivate and support you. Brian Daniels is an experienced and knowledgeable instructor, always making sure you're effective with your workouts. Each instructor offers something different with excellent routines.

Holly Roth: I've been going to Rock The Block for a little over a month and have been loving learning and dancing with the Nordes! I went to the first beginner class by myself (which was definitely stepping out the box for me!) After just a few weeks I jumped into the intermediate hustle class and surprised myself with being able to keep up! Even convinced my husband to do some Detroit Ballroom with me last night excited to keep learning and dancing! If you're looking for some fun adult dance classes with awesome instructors definitely check them out!
Abbey Weston: This place is such a great addition to the area! The Norde’s are awesome and their passion for dance and fun is contagious! We’ve done group classes and private parties and they have all been off the charts! No experience or rhythm needed - just be prepared to have fun and learn something new #exercisebyaccident
Eric Pouncil: Attended the beginner hustle class and it was so fun. I really enjoyed how the instructor showed the moves, broke it down, and put it to music. Simply amazing and a great way to exercise on purpose.

Lonnie Barnett: Our experience with Kick It Out! Dance has been absolutely amazing. The owners, instructors, and other staff are all focused on supporting the kids. While my daughter has learned to dance, she has gained tremendous confidence and self-esteem thanks to the Kick It Out! team. Through dance, Kick it Out! has taught my daughter important life skills which will undoubtedly benefit her through adolescence and into adulthood. I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at Kick It Out!.

hima kurada: I’m sure everyone has heard this before but I don’t like to leave reviews good or bad ( apparently am too lazy). However, I was compelled to leave a review for Deb’s Zumba class. I am a working mom pretty active pre pandemic but then had a baby and the pandemic soon after made loose all interest in fitness ( going out period). As they last ditch effort to be fit (really just forced by my sisters 😒) I went to the kick it dance studio for Deb’s Zumba class. It was amazing not only did it kick my Bu** it was super fun. I’m not a dancer by any means but there was absolutely no judgement period! All in all it was great. Ladies if you’re like me and are looking to have some fun time while getting fit this may be the place for you. The only downside the class gets filled pretty easy because it’s worth it.

Heather Stiffler: I have brought my girls to Kick it out for a total of 4 years. My girl have loved being there. When we first started going one of my daughters didn’t know what she wanted to take, the owner suggested she try a bunch of classes to figure out what she likes. Then she picked 2. Then my other daughter was in soccer and wanted to do dance when soccer was over. The owner was very accommodating. Now 4 years later one daughter is still dancing and loves going. We have always had good interactions with all the workers and teachers.

Deborah O'Connell: I have been going to Kick It Out for 3 years and they have treated me like family since day 1. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about dance. They focus their efforts on helping students improve their dance technique and grow as individuals. I am incredibly impressed by this facility and it's staff. I highly recommend this studio for children (competitive & rec classes), adult recreational classes, and fitness. They have a little something for everyone!
Kristin Tweedy: Kick It Out is a fabulous dance studio. The owners are incredibly hard workers and bend over backwards to make sure everyone feels included and accepted. There are dance classes for all ranges of dancers from beginners to experienced. They even have adult beginners classes, which is awesome! On top of that, they also have fabulous fitness classes they hold at their studio from Zumba to Pound to Yoga. It's a great place!
Bleu Lopez: My child went here for a test class, and I would never bring them back to this location. The staff was rude and I was not impressed with the way they treated the students either.To reply to your messsage: My name is clearly posted above. It’s not a fake name, actually very rude of you to assume it’s not my name. How would you fix anything when I decided that your dance studio was not a place I would ever want my child going again exactly, and there was no money to be refunded. YOU sound like someone bitter because I left a bad review, since you want to talk about how I sound. You want to fix something, fix the professionalism and training of your staff. However, clearly they get their training from you, so it all makes sense. Have a good day!
Sammy Chau: I had the worst experience with this place. My child was assaulted in class by another student, shoved out of class, while crying, without explanation and was held to a higher standard than the other children. She was repeatedly reprimanded for the same thing other children were doing. None of the other children were reprimanded like she was. All of this happened in 3 classes. I was offered to join the class after I was already walking out the door. I was only offered to sit down, on site and talk, after the owner repeatedly interrupted me while I was speaking with my daughter. They also required me to pay almost $300 on the first day of class, and none of it was refundable. Oh, and she is a 3 year old... I have proof they offered to view the recordings with me, once I accepted, they quit communication and threatened to contact their attorney.

Sara: My family has had the best experience with this studio. Both my kids are dancers. My daughter is going into her 5th competitive dance season and my son just started last year. The instructors are amazing and really teach to the kids strengths. I cant say enough about the owner she has a heart of gold. Its amazing that she knows every kid and every dance they are in. If you are looking for a family atmosphere this is the studio to try!

Cristina Moreno: I've going there for three years for zumba, zumba toning and did pound. My daughter was in mini ballet and had her first recital in 2014. Such a great and comfortable place to work out. Highly recommend it!

Patrick O'Keefe: Louis is a magnificent teacher. We started taking lessons several years ago and never looked back. We’re still taking weekly lessons to improve our skills. When we attend weddings or go out dancing on vacation, people call us “professional dancers.” Although Louis is the only professional here, we sure appreciate the compliment.
