Pamela McDurmon: I’m sad to hear that Colleen is retiring. She has been the one cleaning my teeth from the very beginning. There was only one time she couldn’t clean my teeth and that was January of this year. Not sure of her name, but u can look back to see who it was. She didn’t do a good job at all. She didn’t floss my teeth. Or polish them. I seen that today when girl came in to chat my pockets that it was on my chart that it had been done and wasn’t due. I told Colleen she didn’t probe my pockets. Dr Hagan came in and did a few areas, but not the girl clean cleaning my teeth in January. I can go to my regular dentist and get a better cleaning then what I got from her. I don’t want to be schedule with that person to clean my teeth. If that is who I have to have clean my teeth. I will go to my regular dentist. It will sadden me because, in all the years I’ve been coming to Dr. Hagan I’ve been very happy.Thank youPam McDurmon

I SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OF THIS WHEN I WENT INTO HAVE WORK DONE. WHAT THEY RECOMMENDED WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL FOR WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY TEETH. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
Alexa Zimmerman: Dr. Charchut is extremely caring and patient. I have extreme dental anxiety and her and her staff made sure I was comfortable, explained what was going on throughout my procedure and answered all of my follow up questions. You'll be in great hands with Dr. Charchut!
Darren Warner: I had a tooth extracted and the area prepped for a dental implant. Dr. Charcut explained that due to one of the roots, the procedure would be a bit more complicated. She took her time, spending two hours extracting the tooth. She was very skilled and didn’t just “yank” the tooth out, as I had experienced before with anther dentist with a different tooth. She was gentle, and showed care and concern for me throughout the procedure.I then had some complications from the procedure, which weren’t due to anything Dr. C. did. She got me right in for several follow-up appointments, and addressed the issues quickly and professionally. She is a wonderful dentist who is not only courteous and friendly with her clients, but also with her staff. You can tell she runs a great office, and I highly recommend her for anyone who needs a tooth extracted and/or a dental implant.
Patti Chapman: hear they are an AWESOME practice...but I just called and there is no LIVE person to talk to-this is a dental specialty practice, and I feel like someone should be available (receptionist) to take calls...this is NOT a reflection on their service-hear they are awesome-just a little sad about the no live person to talk to thing...

Jared Hyzer: I highly recommend this place for dental surgery. Had my wisdom teeth removed a week ago. Basically painless. I didn't even have to take any pain medication. The staff were very kind and informative. I really appreciate them and the work they do.

Kay: I was supposed to have my wisdom tooth surgery done here. I scheduled a few weeks ago and took time off work and my partner took 2.5 days off as well. I went in for my consultation on Monday. Dr. Schiro is a friendly and professional man. He seems to be very knowledgeable and made me feel more comfortable about the surgery. But after my consultation, I was told that my surgery would be $466.40 after insurance; I said okay. A few minutes after leaving, I was called and told it’d be $666.40 because they forgot to add something. That was a bit more than I had but I managed to come up with the additional $200. So I call today to let them know and to confirm the price. I think everything is all set and I’m stocking up on soft foods for my surgery tomorrow. Then, another call. Surgery was miscalculated again and it’s actually going to be $1250. So, I cancelled. It’s just the unprofessionalism for me by the billing party. All bills were expected to be paid tomorrow. So, imagine what my shock would’ve been tomorrow after my surgery when they told me, a recent college graduate who is not made of money yet, what the actual cost was. Even once I come up with the funds, I’ll look for somewhere else to do my surgery. I don’t trust that $1250 is the final price, so I don’t want to put money aside for that only to be told “sorry, it’s going to be $2400 with insurance.”

Porter Enterprise LLC: I'm usually terrified of the dentist, needles, or anyone messing around inside my mouth. But the experience wasn't bad at all. They got me in really quick with an appointment and everyone was super friendly and made me feel at ease. For having 2 wisdom teeth taken out it wasn't bad at all. I just went back today after I week to get my stitches out. Before I could even realize he was actually going to start taking them out he had both stitches out. I was thinking to myself there is no way he has them out already and with absolutely no pain. But sure enough he had them out in seconds. Definitely would recommend this place, especially to those who are scared of the dentist lol. Dr. Shiro also has a great sense of humor which is a huge added bonus.

Jim Rizzardi: Awesome experience with a third molar extraction. Dr. Spagnoula has a great personality and is very caring and concerned about your experience. The tooth was not an easy one to extract but the numbing agent was applied perfectly and it finally came out with no pain. Nor any pain in the two weeks since. Highly recommended!
Marcell Seatts: The most caring and professional healthcare team I have ever encountered. If you are in need of a periodontist or any other general dentistry work done in the Lansing area I recommend this office. I was able to be seen the next day and the doctor and his assistants were super knowledgeable in the treatment I am looking to have done. Not too mention, they make you feel like you are royalty with their amazing healthcare hospitality such as greeting you upon entering, short wait time to be seen, and constant asking if you need to anything such as using the restroom or water while you are there. All of what I mentioned goes a long way in choosing your next dental home. Super short waiting periods to be seen for general dentistry and/or in or out patient dental work.

He wanted to help me in every way that he could but he informed me that I could go someplace else for less aggressive treatment and get the same results and went as far as printing off my x-rays on a CD-ROM to take to the new dentist and their name and phone number of several of their locations closer to me than the hour and a half drive from Kalamazoo to his Lansing office so he went above and beyond and was so informative and just patient with his time and explanations that I really wish I could get all my dental work done with him because he impressed me so much and his staff was very professional and cordial as well. Right from the moment I stepped into the clinic, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that put my nerves at ease. Dr. Liu and his staff are professional and courteous, always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and understanding of the treatment process. I'd highly recommend Dr. Liu's office to all my friends and family.
Lisa: He has very good bedside manner, but unfortunately, my family will not be returning. He must go too fast or doesn't pay attention because he continuously scrapped my husband and two childrens gums & not just their teeth. Both my kids cried once we left the office bc it hurt so bad. They have never been afraid to go to the dentist, but I had to promise them we'd find a new dentist bc they never want to go back to him.

David Prudden: I had an appointment in two weeks to get some work done. My tooth decided that it wasn't going to wait. On Saturday evening the pain became unbearable. I called Sunday morning and left a message. My hope was that this would help me get in early on Monday. Dr Liu returned my call a couple hours later and after talking to me for a few minutes decided he would come to the office on a Sunday and help me out. Thank you Dr. Liu for going above and beyond.

I had to go back to him 3 times to keep fixing the same tooth he made a mistake on to my final visit which he left me uneven and unhappy not to mention in pain still today. My teeth are my pride and joy but now I hate them and wish I would of never gone to this dentist. He used a drill to shave my tooth after I told him I did not want him to do that, my tooth and 2 others are super sensitive now and I'm so upset

I informed him that they don't fit and something is wrong with them. He said I had to pay $350 for an x-ray. No thanks, I'm pretty sure the State of Michigan paid you enough to make sure my dentures fit. Its been almost 4.5 years and to this day I don't have any dentures that fit. State won't let me get another pair either as they just paid for this pair. I hope Dr. Lui knows that he has ruined my life for the past 4.5 years. I hope that money was worth it to him. He takes innocent peoples money and doesn't deliver as promised. PLEASE AVOID THIS DENTIST AT ALL COSTS!!!! He is more interested in profit than treatment!!!! AND DO NOT TRUST THESE REVIEWS as they send out emails to all patients asking for reviews in exchange for gift cards.Dr. Lui RUINED my opportunity to have a nice smile and a better life. PLEASE DON'T LET HIM DO THIS TO YOU!!!!!EDIT TO REPLY TO RESPONSE:First off, the dentures NEVER FIT RIGHT! Its not that they don't fit anymore. You knew this! I don't appreciate your response at all. Don't trust these reviews, as they send out emails to all patients asking for reviews in exchange for gift cards. When I went here, the staff was arguing back and forth and had no idea what they are doing. Try another place.

I came to Painless Dentistry (kudos to Bethany T), the lovely ladies that work at the front desk and so nice and helpful. Anna was my hygienist and I loved how comfortable she made me feel. Explained everything to me before doing it. She is great!!!!!!!! Bethany is awesome too! Thank you Painless I look forward to coming back so Dr. Mason can get me together!!!!!
