Krista Cox: I used to love healthy smiles!My cleanings with Felicia are so enjoyable. However, in March my retainers broke and I went in to the office for orthodontic visit to try to find a solution. I was never contacted back but went in for a cleaning a May. I asked about the results and to see if a solution was available. I was told I’d be followed up with but unfortunately I was never contacted.I called to leave a message a week after that to see if there was a retainer solution available. Nobody called back.I sent an email on May 22, no follow up.I called and spoke to one front office person (J) and was promised I’d receive a call back the same day. No call back.I called a week later and spoke to another front desk person (A) and she also promised she’d call me back that same day. No call back.I sent another email this morning. No follow up.I have made it perfectly clear that if Healthy Smiles can’t make me a retainer it’s 100% fine but I need to know since they have my scans from March before my teeth shifted and my teeth have now shifted which is painful and now no matter where I go for a retainer my front teeth will have a gap which causes self esteem issues and anxiety.I feel really sad to post this because prior to the orthodontic experience I would have recommended Healthy Smiles to any and everyone. 😔 if you just need a simple cleaning though it’s still clean, fast and pleasant.

Healthy Smiles cost nothing out of pocket for me and the attention to detail for my first visit was great. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. The facility was clean. Everything seemed to move like clockwork. And Dr Ewing was very detailed in doing the exam. Look forward to going back!
Kay: I honestly can not believe that Dr Ewing is still treating patients. Thanks to him my child is now in extreme pain and in need of expensive dental work because he either can't read an x-ray or is just too old to be working. When I was told by my friend that she heard that Dr. Ewing just moved to yet another dental office. We both could not believe he is even allowed to practice. Not only did he not make me aware of the multiple areas of decay my son had and just basically forgot to do his job as my sons dentist. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHEN MY SONS NEW DENTIST SAW MY SONS X-RAYS FROM THE PAST FEW YEARS HE COULD CLEARLY SEE THE MULTIPLE CAVITIES MY SON HAD FROM OVER A YEAR AGO. However Dr. Ewing NEVER saw those cavities which obviously leads to believe he can't see or read an x-ray or just did not care enough about my son to tell me about these cavities. He even told me at his last 2 dental cleanings that he made the cavity free club. How did that happen?? Especially when his new dentist has clearly shown me on his x-rays the areas of decay from over a year ago on my sons x-rays?? And I am not the only person who is now questioning his competency as my friend had a crown Dr. Ewing botched 3 times only to find out by her current dentist now that she had work not completed or in need of being redone because of work not properly done. The only thing Dr. Ewing has going for him is he is a nice soft spoken old man. Which I bought into when I met him and why I did continue to trust him. But my trust was shattered due to my sons current situation which could have been easily avoided had Dr. Ewing provided proper care. And I hold him and him alone responsible for my sons current issues. This is a clear warning to anyone who sees Dr. Ewing beware and make sure to get a second opinion because he should not be seeing patients at his age.

Jorgi Bailey: This place is weird. I scheduled a teeth cleaning a while back and when I showed up to my appointment, the door to the building was locked. Confused, I checked my phone and noticed I has a voice message from the New You Dental Center office. The voice message was from a woman saying my appointment was canceled because someone couldn't get out of their driveway...? What?
Leslie Ewing: My daughter had her initial visit which went great, the hygienist was amazing and the dentist himself was okay. When scheduling the follow-up cavity fillings we were scheduled right away but then the day before got called telling us it needed to be rescheduled because the doctor would not be in the office that day, after rescheduling it for the following week we then got a call again the day before telling us that they were just canceling. Mind you I had already asked for this time off of work so that was a huge inconvenience. But then not being rescheduled again I had to call and leave messages at least five different times and I still have not been rescheduled. Nobody ever answers the phone at Lansing location it seems let alone calls you back. So far not so great.

Leonard Smith: I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had to wait 30 minutes in the lobby after my scheduled appointment time had passed. I then was supposed to get 4 wisdom teeth removed but they did not have the proper equipment so only 3 was removed. The doctor had already cut my gums on that side. The stitches in my mouth where so long they where poking me causing discomfort. During the surgery I chocked several times because the assistant who had the suction did not do a good job. The doctor even had to tell her to be faster. After my surgery the office never put in my prescription so I had to go a whole day in pain with no meds to help. In addition to all this they only allow Saturday appointments for some reason.
Calvin Copeling: Shocking customer service and attitude. After waiting over a month for an available appointment I get called a few hours before to say my appointment, as the oral hygienist is sick which I understand, but they offer no solution or offer to fit me in, this is unacceptable as they are the ones who cancelled on me. The receptionist is rude and unhelpful. Would avoid

Connii Froehlich: I can’t say enough great things about this practice. I called for pain in my tooth and was in the chair within 10 min. The staff is incredible and Dr Stone was sensitive to someone scared of the dentist. Highly recommend!

Alexis Epps: Dr. Stone is excellent but his staff? Yikes. I am an established patient and have been trying for a YEAR to get an appointment. They don’t return calls, don’t check their messages or online portal, and then once the appointment is finally scheduled, they move it three times. This wasn’t even a scheduling issue, they just didn’t look at my chart properly and needed to move the appointment (literally an hour before I was supposed to come in) because what I needed done was not available. The staff on the phone are extremely rude and unprofessional, and they make excuses for errors instead of owning up to them. My husband has had the same issues. He had a root canal done and was told they would call to schedule the crown and that it was severe and needed to be done ASAP. We waited two weeks with no call. Finally we called them and they made some excuses about insurance when in reality they had lost his paperwork AND the crown couldn’t be scheduled for another month so now this “emergency” has to wait seven weeks due to their negligence. Ridiculous and unprofessional.

If there's any improvement that Covid regulations may have added to my treatment record, I have requested to replace the hydrogen peroxide swish for single malt next time around. Let's see..

Chad O'Neil: The dental hygienist that has provided care and front desk staff are wonderful. I came in as my spouse has had a good experience and was recommended to them by her friend. My first visit was due to a sudden tooth issue, which they advised me about over the phone and which they scheduled the soonest appointment. The clear communication, cancellation list, and text message/ emails are so convenient. Highly recommended!
Steven Lowe: I had a mishap on a Saturday that resulted in damage to two teeth requiring repairs. Upon the recommendation of my brother-in-law, I contacted Trillium and was pleased that they were able to schedule an appointment for me the following Thursday with Dr. Bill. I imagined that the process of repairing the teeth would be spread out over a period of days or weeks and that the cost would be extremely high. However, Dr. Bill presented a treatment plan that could be completed during that very same appointment. Dr. Bill explained the process and fully answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. His staff provided a quote of the expected cost which, while not inexpensive, I considered to be very reasonable under the circumstances. He proceeded to execute the treatment plan in a very methodical manner. I would observe that the process seems to be a combination of science and art, and that Dr. Bill is a very experienced and skilled practitioner. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the treatment. In fact, I feel the two damaged teeth look better post-treatment than they did prior to my accident. All-in-all, I had a great experience at Trillium. Dr. Bill was great and the staff were very friendly and kind. I am looking forward to a future relationship with Trillium for my general dental needs.

aly talaarc: I walked into the office after by mistake leaving my lights on inside of Starbucks. I asked The to receptionist inside. If someone could please be kind enough to give me a jump. Their response was shocking and unhuman. They both said not w my car. Now if anyone has ever not been able to start their car after leaving their lights on by mistake, you know it takes five minutes of someone’s time and kindness to go get their keys jump into their car, open their hood that’s all it takes. It is not damaging to the car. It’s not damaging to the person doesn’t take away from their dignity, but it does take away from their respective humanity when they say no. What kind of animals work at this location what kind of on human on forgiving self satisfying people work at this place do not give your money to someone who would not give aid to the needy to someone in desperate need of aid a five minutes of their time these people are not deserving of your money of anyone’s money for that purpose alone it takes five minutes to jump a car five minutes you could be someone’s hero, but it takes two seconds of a cold heart to say no .

As a child, I experienced anxiety related to dentist visits, but Trillium was always patient and worked with me, and I'm glad to say I no longer experience anxiety while in the chair! The Staff are amazing and the Dentists and Hygienists are great. I typically see Dr. Barb, but I have also been seen and had work done by Dr. Bill. Both are great doctors and genuine people. Very thankful to have Trillium!

Joseph Jong: The dental hygienist cleaned my teeth at 9am on Feb. 24 damaged a couple of spots of gum in my mouth especially those spots which cannot be seen directly. Two-days has passed and the two spots are still painful.

Texascap: When Dr Stempos was there, it was great but now it is horrible!!! I had a root canal and my crown came in. The receptionist said she had a day open but that didn't work for me. She said she would call back but never did. I called 2 weeks later. When I went in, they didn't know why I was there and said they didn't know if they had my crown. They had it. The dentist put it in but it wasn't hitting my other teeth. I told the dentist that but he put a paper in my mouth, told me to bite down and he pulled on the paper. He said look it's touching..no it wasn't. I demanded that he shave the tooth down. Crazy thing is.. my daughter went to have her crown put on and he did the same thing to her!! She also came in to fill a cavity and he asked if she had insurance. She of course did but he wouldn't fill it. It was the end of the day and he was ready to leave! I have been going there for at least 25 years and am going to leave. This place is horrible!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would!!
Karrah Grimm: My daughter had a tooth abscess from an improper filling being done where all the decay was not fully cleaned. When I called her established dentist to get in they refused me an appointment because I missed 1 appointment due to my daughter having covid. They said I needed to find a new dentist despite being there for 11 years while my other kids. They are still seeing the others but refused her. I called Dr.Grimm and he got me in the same day told me to head right in. My daughter was so nervous and his demeanor with her was impeccable! He had her laughing and calmed. He had to do an Incision and drainage to debris the area he even went to more conservative route to avoid doing a major procedure on her. The care we received was far above what we got at out other dentist and I will be switching all my children here. He provided great and thorough at home care instructions. We have out follow up appointment scheduled to keep an eye on things but he even went above offering if anything gets worse before the next appointment just to call and they will get her in right away. I couldn't have been happier with my care and services provided here. The staff were also amazing with her as well when she was nervous getting the xrays done
Tayana Harden: I took my daughter to this location, and this office was horrible. The doctor was something awful ! He went from room to room with the same gloves on. Then once he came in our room he tried to shake my daughters hand. It seemed as if he’s been using the same gloves for every patient. That’s not even the half of it! He comes in the room talking about how many degrees he has. I begin to talk to him about my daughters concern, which he then says I had many of kids, I understand. At the end of the visit he told us to “ hit him up “ with a google review so here it is !. This man is crazy! And we will not be returning.

When I called again to find out my status I was informed that the waiting list was indefinite. Super unprofessional and disappointing. I would recommend finding another dentist unless you want your teeth to rot out of your head.

Indigo Butterfly: It's not the same since Dr. Stumpos retired. They only do cleanings and fillings, despite what they advertise. One hygienist there is very rude and will chastise you while she cleans your teeth. Heaven forbid she takes longer than she thought. You will be the one she blames and she will stop the cleaning and tell you to come back another time to finish. If you need something besides a filling you will be told to go somewhere else. You should make that appointment yourself. The receptionist does not explain to the referred dental practice the urgency. She told me I would have to wait 3 WEEKS before I could be seen by the Endo. I called myself and got an appt. the next day. Needless to say, switching to a new dentist.

Mohammad Yusaf: I have been with this practice and its predecessor (Dr. Gucky) since 1975 and they have all taken care of my teeth cleaning, fillings, crowns, bite guards and with care. What drew me to this practice was their focus on preventative maintenance so as to avoid cavities and gum recession. The receptionist is always cheerful and helpful. I have sensitive teeth and the dental hygienist Christina) has figured out the right dose of an anesthetic for a somewhat pain free experience. Once my bite guard broke within a month or so, but it was replaced without any further costs. They have kept up with new technology: such electronic scanning of the teeth to develop a 3D image so that a bite guard could be made. Dr. Holly Scott-Hetchler, fresh out of dental school, took over the practice from Dr. Gucky . She has done well in what is essentially a male dominated profession. It is centrally located , being 1/2 a block from US 127 and Saginaw Highway. Their charges are on the higher side , so there is more to pay after dental insurance, but I am fine with that due the service quality. I knocked off a star as no one is perfect.

James Davis: Don’t know if I should review right now, went in for my regular cleaning today 4-12-23 took off work early for my appointment my dental assistant was so focused on up-sales on a deep cleaning which she said I really needed with the laser and antibiotics but at a estimated cost of $750 for one side and $550 for the other my co-pay. She told me because I didn’t want to schedule for it to be done at a later date they weren’t going to do my regular cleaning that I came in for. I’m not a happy camper right now. As I took off from work to sit in the dentist chair for a cleaning that I didn’t get!
